I was very happy when Anna told me that she could do this bra for me, looked really pretty in the Bratabase photos. Mine is not pretty, is sad and kinda ugly, no velvet center ribbon, not green lace in the border of the cups and is a yellowish green, not like the color of the photos. I'm very dissapointed, and doesn't fit either.
This is my last Comexim bra, I have 7 in total all of them a FAIL, I gave up.
Finally, a Comexim that fits. I originally bought the Georgia in 28H. I figured starting with 28 bands was the safest place to start. The 28H is wearable but the gore doesn't tack and the fit of the cup is a little big on top and the straps a little wide. It also slides below my IMF. I thought I might need alterations to get Comexiums to fit or I should have gotten 28G. Last week Wellfitting had a clearance type sale and had the Georgia in a 26 band. Even though it wasn't refundable I decided to give it a try anyway. I'm so glad I did. The band is nice and snug, no need for an extender, the placement of the straps is perfect for my narrow shoulders, the gore tacks, no sliding down. Cup fit is almost perfect, I do fall slightly toward center but at this point I don't care. I'm jumping with joy.
I'm so so happy with this bra. I think at this point people have a lot of great reviews on it, so I'll keep it brief. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
The fabric is to die for in every way. The feel, look and color are all highly superior to other bras I've owned. This is a gorgeous peridot green with honey bronze detailing in person but light enough that it fades under thin shirts. I get really nice, modest but noticeable cleavage in this.
The thong that I got food not fit as well as I'd hoped. My hips are 39.5" and the xl was ...too large by a good bit. I think I could have safely gone down to a large or even a medium. Aside from my ordering the wrong size, the only con I see with the panties is how high rise they are. The top elastic kissed my belly button when they were up and on correctly. It is the very same way with all my other matching sets.
Be advised that if you wear low rise pants you may want to ask if they can make custom panties. Overall though, fir the price this can't be beat. It's all so gorgeous and we'll fitting, I can't get over comexim! Read more 109 more words
I got this bra with reduced cups and gore and overlapping wires and straps moved in. The bra is slightly small for me but it works ok on my smaller days.
This bra is the 4th Comexim I'm trying. The 3 other ones are in 65k. So I though that I would get a cup smaller with a 70HH, but to my surprise, the cup of the Pantera in 70HH is bigger than my 3 65k, for at least one cup, maybe 2. Looks to me like a 70L I would say.
Very pretty, but wire digging into ribs under breast, very tight band, gore not tacking, and some quading. I'll be ordering 60HH and maybe 60J to find the right size.
I love this bra. It is so comfortable. I get great lift & pretty good projection. Not as good as my old Ewa Michalak S style with the 3 panels on the bottom, but a better rounded shape than the newer S style with only 2 panels on the bottom of the cup. I got this bra from Zathiya.com & Aisha was so helpful in answering my questions and helping me find my correct size. Unfortunately, she doesn't have any more in my size. I do have about 2 cm at the top of the cup where the straps attach that is empty but it doesn't wrinkle or show in any way under my clothes. Also, the wires on the side are very low & due to my size & some loose skin after losing 130 lbs, I have some spillage there. I'm going to try this same style with lowered cups & higher sides, but in the meantime I'm so happy to have a bra that is so comfortable.
One of my everyday, always in rotation bras. Compared to my Comexim Basic, the band is much tighter and firmer; I've had them for almost the same amount of time/wear them both about twice per week, and while my Basic has stretched and I find myself pretty consistently tightening the straps, the Geisha has not budged--I'm still on the first set of hooks, and I like/need a tight band! The gore tacks fully, the cups are narrow, there is not extra fabric at the top of the cup to cause gaping, and they don't irritate my armpit at all. Another Polish success!
Very short, projected, slightly narrow, even, close set breasts.....
My breasts have been....maddening to fit. Jaimie at Bra Obsessed recommended the Eve full cup for my shorties, and sent Anna at Comexim the width (5.6") and depth (10.5") I required. Comexim skillfully crafted an Eve with those measurements: INCREDIBLE customer service.
"Soft" is the first word that comes to mind when I wear Eve. The material is similar to the fabric used in the Ivonne balcony. It drapes well and simultaneously supports. Eve also has the most stretchy Comexim straps I've experienced, to date. Although they are delightfully comfortable, I would happily embrace more rigid straps. That, however, would ...compromise the aesthetic of this bra. Again, I strongly prefer Comexim's choice of materials over Panache, Cleo, Freya, and Curvy Kate. If you have sensitive skin and/or sensory issues with the aforementioned brands, Comexim unlined bras may be a welcome relief to your skin and mind. Eve is supremely comfortable.
For some reason, I feel like a princess in this bra. The embroidery dances across the fabric in a simply elegant manner. It is perfect for me who appreciates minimalistic designs. And although my wardrobe is very simple, I happily add more interest in my "bradrobe."
Cup height is always a challenge for me. In this bra, moving the apex 1 cm lower or reducing the cup height may improve the fit significantly. That little shift will increase lift and eliminate the wrinkles in the top of the cup. I don't know yet if I am courageous enough to complete this alteration myself. But, it looks more simple than removing 1/3 of my 65K Eris plunge. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> After watching 2hours of bra making videos, lowering the strap would be helpful. Lowering the strap two inches forces the pattern maker to reduce the cup height accordingly. This would liberate my armpits and eliminate the wrinkles.
The overlapping gore alteration is critical to my comfort. Additionally, I now understand I require the narrowed gore. My right breast, that often looks dwarfed compared to the left, is more center-full. Without a narrowed and overlapped gore, the wire tethers the right breast. Not only does this cause a burning sensation, but it also creates false asymmetry. It is entirely possible my breasts sit 1/4" off-center, too. Strange.
My next Eve (there will be another Eve https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> ) will have narrowed gore, overlapping gore (preferably the right cup wire is placed furthest from the body during the alteration), and straps lowered 1.5"-2".
Comexim unlined receive enthusiastic recommendations from me! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Read more 329 more words
This bra's measurements have been altered
Ordered with specific depth (10.5") and specific depth (5.5")
I'm surprised we have our first Eve just now; especially considering Eve has been in production since 2009. My hope is others will soon experience the comfort and immediate projection (!!) Of Comexim unlined bras.
Love4Pollinators. Thanks Did you specify band length or was it the standard length. if, standard what was the stretch length? I'm thinking of ordering it and can't decide 60 or 65
Primula Click on "measurements" just under the name of the bra on this page. You'll see all of the measurement data. This band length was specified at 22" but it arrived longer, 24.3". Still it was supportive, but I asked for a shorter band on my reorder.
Love4Pollinators thanks! I just looked at the blank box and did not click below.
Gorgeous bra, but as I thought, plunges don't work for my short roots. There is a lot of nice projection here! There's a bit of lovely embroidery on the straps that's hard to see in photos. I'm going to see if I can get it in a 3HC instead.
Ugh This bra is soooooo close to fitting. Bought it from a gal on here, it has straps moved in (game changer!) and overlapping wires (not narrowed gore). It's 1-2 cups small on me. What's remarkable though, is that even though the cup is too small, the wires stay in my IMF! So I am close to figuring out my Comexim size!
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered straps,
Cookie pockets, overlapping gore wires
The comexim Coco I have is an 80 which fits like an Ewa Michalak 75. I wear 32 in panache . . .
My Comexim order from the same time frame also had bras with quite small bands.
I ordered the Adore in April, and it also runs about 2 band sizes small, but maybe it's because of the style. The Sonia in the same size has a loose band..
Except my Musetta, all of my black Comexim bands have been on the tighter size (I NEED to wear an extender with my Florences). For the Sonia, mine was also on the looser side, but it seems like that one ran loose in about half of them and pretty tight in the other half.
I believe this was a custom order by the original purchaser (strap placement & gore height) but I don't think those alterations explain the large band or the small cups. I'd say it fits more like an 80-85 band in the GG-G range, which makes me sad because it's so pretty and because we both spent so much on it! The wires meet at the top of the gore, but the gore flares out a fair bit toward the base of the underwires. If it fit, I think it would be lovely and it would be a pretty good tshirt bra as long as the tshirt wasn't white/very sheer.
i normally wear a 70F in comexim plunges. i have a 70G with reduced cups and straps moved in, and it also fits. since prior owner said this had lowered cups, i thought it COULD be a sister size. but... cups are too big for me. space at the top of the cup, right near the gore/center area. i will have to pass this one on, sadly...
Alterations: reduced cup, cookie inserts The band is longer than the other 55s I have - I'm wearing it on the 3rd hook of 4 and have a 24.5-25" snug, so hopefully it doesn't stretch too quickly! It's pretty comfy over all, doesn't give any cleavage, but a nice rounded shape instead. The wires are very narrow and cut across the lower outer edge of my tissue everrrr so slightly - the wires seem to curve up earlier than my root does. Apart from that area, the wire sits nicely around the edge of my root.
Alterations: reduced cup, reduced gore (though I don't think this one happened), cookie pockets added Band is tight - I can fasten it on the loosest hook, but the elastic on the lower part of the band feels uncomfortable tight. Would probably work well with an extender until the band loosens up a bit. Wire width seems to be spot on on this one, perfectly circles my root! Hallelujah! The cups have a bit of gapping at the top edge though, most noticeably on my smaller side which is already padded with an insert :/ Maybe a small size would work better for me - 55E, or 60D even - or maybe it's just a bit of a shape mismatch and it's too tall and open on top? I'm not sure. It does give me a nice shape though, round and lifted, though nothing in the way of cleavage.
Great review! Nice to see Eve at long last...
