Omg. I LOVE this bra!! It's so unbelievably pretty and the lift it gives is amazing. The only thing I will say is that this band is VERY tight and was about 1 inch shorter than the other Comexims in the same order (I also ordered the Ingrid and Mirage). Because of this I do need to wear it with an extender (I can fasten it without an extender but I just feel like I'm suffocating lol). This isn't really too much of an issue for me though since I know Comexim bands stretch over time. For anyone who is FOT this is a great choice. The ribbon at the top doesn't give me any quad boob (unlike my Ingrid and the Annika that I used to own). This Comexim has a little bit of a pointy shape … but I kind of like that look (it works with my 1950's pinup dresses really well!).
I bought this bra used on Ebay & didn't do enough research on the sizing. It is marked 70J & at the time I was looking for a 32J bra. I've since learned that Comexim doesn't use UK sizing & the 70J is around a 32GG in UK sizing. I was larger then (I've since lost weight) so it was way too small. Since I've lost weight it's still too small in the cup & now it's comfortable in the band, but I'm already in the last set of hooks. I can put it on now & see how it would look if ...it fit & I really like it. It's convinced me that I need to find out my Comexim size. When I first opened it up it seemed very flimsy. I've been wearing @Ewa Michalak S & PL style in 75J for a long time & compared to them it doesn't seem as solidly constructed. It is very stretchy--both the band & the straps, so it doesn't seem like the most supportive. Maybe it would be better in my correct size. I will probably try to re-sell it later. This fits like a standard Comexim plunge, and one cup size smaller than labeled as a Basic model. The edge detailing at the top of the cups seemed a little thicker than any of the other Comexim models I've tried.
This bra fits well. A tad bit too small for my bigger side but the don't have the next size up in the shop. Super comfortable and beautiful to look at. The longline slims out my upper torso too!
Runs quite small in the cup and large in the band. The band measurements are identical to my Ingrid plunge in 70G, and like that bra, I could wear it without an extender if I weren't worried about strain on the hooks. The cups measure smaller than my Freya/Fauve 30Gs, even though this is equivalent to a 30GG. It does have much more immediate projection than those bras. The cup measurements are also nowhere near 2 volumes larger than the 70G Ingrid. They're a half-volume larger at most--too small for me.
Which would be fine, if the cup were open on top like Ewa and Fauve half-cups, but this ...is very closed at the center, and gives me quad boob. I don't think I can size up, because these wires (and therefore straps) are about the widest I can manage.
That's a huge disappointment, because I love the profile this bra gives otherwise. It's much more subtle, much less locked-and-loaded than a Ewa half-cup. But the quad is JUST significant enough to be noticeable under clothing.

I'm waiting on a 65L 3HC: hoping there will be enough space. I've not found a single UK bra that even remotely fits, so I'm thankful for your size comparison. Explains why I'm at 65L. Sigh. If the wires are too wide, I'll just bend them and enjoy the added immediate projection. Good luck!
Thanks! I'm wondering if RAISING but still overlapping the gore would solve the center projection problem for me...but of course, with my uber-close-setness, I don't know if I have room for that.
I'm tempted to try the 70J or 65L myself, but the thing is...I've been comparing Comexims all over the place, and I feel like the cup sizing has been WILDLY inconsistent. I don't know if they just went through a recent re-engineering maybe, and I'm comparing newer and older bras, but I have yet to find any two Comexims where the cup volumes made mathematical sense to me.
A 65K 3HC arrived with a 5.75" width and another, ordered simultaneously, 65K 3HC arrived with 6.3" width. I found incredible similarity in the 60J styles I've measured. But, the 65J and 65K have been wild with variation.
And, two bras arrived recently without their alterations; unwearable. Without Comexim alterations I cannot wear a wired bra without pain and swelling.
There is some difference between fabrics (e.g. Geisha is more shallow near the wire, Tropical Garden is more projected, ....). Without using a reseller, it is almost impossible for me to know without "trial and error." Sincerely, I hope the variation minimizes quickly and alterations are unfailingly included. Sigh.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous but tooooooo smallllll in the cup.
Absolutely stunning to look at. I feel like I'm in sepia tone when I'm wearing it.
Definitely shallower overall than the equivalent sized Ewa S, but softer and lighter,, with more flexible wires.
I've been trying to figure out my Comexim size for years, and this is not it, but I'm getting closer. Looks like I'm going to land at 70H, 70HH reduced cup, 75H reduced cup, or maaaybe 75G.
I have this bra with the reduced cups, straps moved in, and narrowed gore alterations. It fits great! My boobs are full on bottom and short rooted, and this model with the alterations works like a charm for me. The band is sooooo comfortable (though a smidge big for me, but I'm more of a technical 24 anyway) and the fabric is soft and high quality. I recommend this bra without reservations.
Beautiful fabric. Works decently as a 'nude' for my darker skin. Band material is stretchier than most Comexims I have. Runs about a cup size smaller than their plunge cut.
I got this with longline added, straps moved in 2 cm, and cup height reduced 2 cm. The main issue is the band is way too stretchy. I ordered a 75 instead of my usual 70 because I was worried about it fitting my ribs, but I think a 70 would fit better. The cup is also too small for me (I suspected I might need a 75L/70M anyway).
I got my first custom comexims today :3 rose half cup longline and a custom mint half cup longline. I got reduced cup height and straps moved in.
I sized up in the band to a 75 since I am larger under my band, but one is quite large in the band. I would probably be better off in 70M. They're half cups and too closed on top for me, and I could probably use overlapping gores since they're too shallow in the center. The gore is more floating than soft tack. But they're so cute and comfy, I might just keep them anyway lol. I dont quad unless i move so could be worse https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> i don't get any support though....
Sigh. I so hope you find a very supportive, beautiful Comexim soon.
I tried them on again, and I think the rose is decent, but the mint is way too big. The band is longer unstretched and way more stretchy. At this point it's like a padded bralette, not sure if I should keep.... they don't make bralette much less cute ones in this size, but it's pretty impractical lol
I am really surprised that this bra works on me quite well. When I saw it i thoutght that the cups will be way too big but theyre great! It is used, so the 65 band feels good on me, the straps are little too wide, but nothing major actually. I got it for my work, as my uniform dress likes to share some color with lighter bras (my poor red cleo lucy). I love the thick and soft straps, band is also made of nice soft fabric. Wires are perfect with along with the cup depth.
I bought this from another user . The cups are reduced. I normally need 11 inches or so of depth in UK sizes . This bra is 10.5 deep and it may be a little big. I'm still trying to figure out sizing in these Polish bras. I'm just not sure if a K would fit better or if this is just a shape mis-match for me. I'm beginning to realize that I probably have short roots and even a reduced cup in a plunge is still too tall for me. I would really need to used cookies to fill the top. I have a lot of center fullness and so I think a plunge is just not for me.
I bought this from another bratabase user after reading the review on @https://thephotogsbrog.wordpress.com/2016/01/28/bra-science-a-direct-comparison-between-ewa-michalak-chp-comexim-3-part-half-cups/..... I have a few @Ewa Michalek CHPs that fit well, but not perfectly due to slightly too-wide Ewa wires. I had a couple of @Comexim that were the correct width, but in every case there was not enough projection at the cup bottom. Based on the photogsbrog review I thought I might have a good fit here. (Note: all brand have too-wide straps for me, but I live with it). Unfortunately, this Comexim does not have enough bottom room for me and I will soon be listing it. ...I find that the Michalaks in my size (55F or 60 E) have more. On the plus side, I find the Comexim padded bras more comfortable in general, if not for fit. They have softer and less padding than the Michalaks and I prefer that. They also have narrower wires which fit me better. However, having gone through size 60E, 60F, 60 H, 55H in @Comexim I still have not found my size in that brand. I am FOB and not much on top, so this is a factor. In a half cup, I think my true Comexim size is probably 60 J or 55K. A full cut bra in those sizes would swim on me. Since I wear 60E, 55F Ewas, there is a huge size difference between the two brands for me. Most likely, I will never find a good Comexim fit, leaving only the Michalaks for me. I really wanted to love this 75H - » Rose Half Cup Longline (417)Comexim but alas, the fit on me is not the best. The gore doesn't quite tack and the band seems a tad looser than I prefer which makes it ride up sometimes. It's still perfectly wearable and an ok fit but I won't be buying any similar Comexim bra's anytime soon.
I purchased this bra from another user who ordered the bra directly from Comexim, so I want to copy/paste from her review the specifics about the alterations in case it is needed in the future.
For record keeping purposes, this bra was ordered with the following alterations: Made in a 3HC cut Made in a longline Raised gore* Reduced cup height* Extra column of hooks (the clasp is 5x3) Straps moved in Cookie pockets added
(Note: The bra was ordered without confirming that all of the requested alteration were doable. Therefore, I'm unsure if the starred alterations were actually done, but the rest definitely were.)
Band is too tight for me, and cups about 2-3 sizes too small! Only tried on; seems like it would be a very comfy bra otherwise... However, it's kind of laughable this is a J cup.
Using the cup size index, this is actually supposed to be around a UK GG-cup. It is a EU J-cup, and since they tend to skip dubble letters for the cups, you have to count the sizes from a D or something similar to compare. :)
I purchased this bra from Wellfitting, and after some trial and error found my best fit in a 70F. The colors are a lot more subdued in person, and I feel this makes the bra look more sophisticated. This is my most-loved bra at the moment. The fit is comfortable, the shape is very flattering, and the coverage is perfect.
This review is for a Comexim Ivonne 75O custom ordered size without modification. This is my second Comexim bra, and it is a big fail in sizeing choice, much worse fit than my first comexim which was a 75N Snow , which I reviewed here: http://www.bratabase.com/chest/di4vc/review/
I have very soft pendulous boobs with narrow roots. Since my previous review I gained a bit wait and of course all went to my boobs and went up a cupize. My underbust remained the same almost 33", and overbust now is ~47-48" depending of the of the month. Which means I just broke the K ...cup barrier and I am now ~34KK/32L UK size. So the fit will be based on this size.
1. Ordering This was quite annoying. I ordered my first Comexim by exchanging emails and got the bra in January , and I was eager to get another one. I emailed them in January 29 in Polish to order an Ivonne 75O with no modification. I got a reply saying no problem in English a few days later, and I was grateful for switching language. I replied and said just send the invoice to my email as they did previously. I know they work on a monthly cycle and only charge when they ready to ship , so I was patiently waiting. After more than 5 weeks, still no shipping notice email ,and no invoice , so I emailed them that what is going on. I got an answer that I should submit an online order on the website and put the requested custom size in the comment. What a wasted 6 weeks! I submit an order online on March 14 and selected the largest cupsize in my bandsize 75K and put a note in the comment that I like a custom size 75O and paid with paypal . After 3.5 weeks I got a shipping notice and it took ~3 weeks to receive it as I live in Canada . So I got the bra 3 months after I first contacted them. Lesson learnt, I need to submit the order online so I can pay it and ensure the order actually happening.
2. Fit - Band The band is firm and much tighter than my 75N Snow, which fits me perfectly , but this needs an extender. However, their size chart on the website puts my 82.5 cm underbust at the larger end of 80 or between 80- and 85, so the band is actually true to their size chart.
3. Fit - Cup/Gore This bra is waay to small for me, like probably more than 3 cupsizes small and hence gore not tacking and fit is terrible. While my 75N Snow also a bit small in the cup, the plunge design doesn't cut into my boobs on that one and still can wear it. White this is theoretically one cup bigger than my Snow , the balcony design without stretch cuts my boobs into half leading to a terrible quadboob. While my Snow arrived with a handwritten tag, this one arrived with no tag. Since I ordered online selecting 75K in the drop box with a note asking for 75O size, I actually have no way knowing that they honored my size request, or it is terrible small because they ignored my comment, and sent my what I selected online the 75K.
4. Straps/ Underwire It has nice wide and comfy cushioned straps , great support, but still won't dig in. the underwire soft and narrow just like my other Comexim.
5. Material/ fabric/ value The color is exactly like the website , a light-medium taupe kind of cool light brown, which really disappear under clothes on me. I have cool tone skin with a bit pinkish undertone, and most "nude" color bras super yellow on me, but not this one. As far as the material goes, , it is a strong sturdy bra. It is not a luxurious fabric, but nice and would be a great everyday workhorse if it had fit me. The price is great as it is 100PLZ + 20 plz overseas shipping, so cost ~$30 USD , definetly worth it. I am keeping it for now, because my weight fluctuates and usually lose a 10lb during summer and it may fit me by the fall.
I am sad it didn't fit after 3 months of waiting, but Comexim definitely the type of bra that suitable for my type of breast( soft, very projected, pendulous , narrow root, high set).
However, I am not sure if I want to gamble again with direct order, which is the cheapest , but has the most risk getting the size wrong. I think I will look into ordering the higher end models using one of the US based ordering option. I know the Anna Pardal line is closing down, but the wellfitting seems still working , so I may give it a try. Read more 766 more words
Bra Obsessed is in Canada! Jaimie is incredibly helpful. That's another option you could try, and it would be shipped to you from within Canada (so 100% no chance of duty/taxes, which is always great!)
Good luck!
