This was the first Comexim that I got that was actually wearable for me. I got it here.
I've read that the Basic runs small in the cup and stretchy in the band. I don't find that particularly true for my specific bra. My band doesn't stretch, not really, so I use an extender. Now that I have my 65Gs in hand, I would also say that the cups are pretty true to the tagged size. Though, I think they fall on the smaller end of an H. Certainly not a G though.

This is a really really comfortable bra. My experience with Comexim, even the ones that don't fit, ... are that they are physically invisible. Once they're on, they're gone. No adjustments required. It's really nice to find such quality at such a decent price.
Again, this gore doesn't quite tack. But it touches, so it passes. I've worn this to the playground (and I play too, slides are fun) and nothing jostles out.

I'm a fan of this beige color. It's more of a stone shade. Gray based, not yellow and it looks really nice against my olive toned paleish skin. I also really like that it isn't called nude.

LOVE THIS BRA!!!!! The cups are reduced which is a much better fit then the regular cups. The band isn't near as tight as I thought it would be for a 60 (28) band. So comfortable I've been wearing everyday since I got it!
Posted Fit Check just to double check the fit is correct.

    • How is the ribbon that runs across the top? I have my eye on Brigitte, but have heard that the ribbon can cause some slight quadding, or digging into the tissue a bit.

    • I haven't noticed the ribbon causing any issues. But I've heard similar things about the Irish Coffee being tighter acros the top.

    • Thanks for the info... I think this just made my next Comexim order ;)

Cup is too small - 60H was the wrong choice. Because the Basic seemed a bit too small in 60HH, I am curious if I should try a 60J in this (though I suspect a 60HH should be a closer fit). There are vertical seams that I REALLY like and I can tell they should give me a round, lifted shape in the right size. The bows look a little off, like an afterthought. I wish the bows actually weren't pink. I think they would look awesome in a bronze color and would look better if the bows were just like the ones in the Basic. I really like the cup edges, though - it's gorgeous! The lace is an odd pattern and some of the parts look like people that Keith Haring drew. Or like gingerbread men.

    • oh man, this is cuuuuutttte. wish it was a bit wider i'd so take a chance on it.

    • I wish some European brands would catch up with Polish designs! Granted, some of them are a bit too much for me LOL. But we should ALL have the chance to grab something kinda whacky but cute like this. Maybe you can ask Comexim for wider cups? : o

    • 2

Haha, I bet that would be new to them, since they're like known for narrow-wire-glory.

    • See that's what makes me nervous about getting a Comexim is I've heard the Basic runs smaller then the rest and that it runs larger then the rest...

First thing first: gorgeous bikini! I first saw this on breakout bras, but I am from Europe so buying a Polish brand from the US is pretty stupid. Then I saw it appear on the Comexim site itself, and around the same time I realized I was in the market for a new bikini. Yey, an excuse!

The cups fit fine. I took my usual comexim size of 60H, I've also bought 60G before because I am in between sizes (28DD/E in UK) but the G turned out to be a bit small, so I went back to 60H this time. A G might be better in the 3HC ... fit while H is better for Plunge. Cupwise, these fit about the same as my other comexims otherwise.

The only remark is the band (see pictures); I am technically a "27" band, so 28 bands better run a bit snug. I initially ordered a 65G because there wasn't a 60H in the drop down menu and then wrote in the comment box that I want a 60H (I also write in there that I already know 60 bands are unreturnable; this speeds up the order process because Joanna doesn't need to mail you to make sure). It is definitely altered down from a 65 band, based on the less pristine sewing around the closure and it having a 60H tag. However, the band still measures 76 CM with ease, I might be able to stretch it out even further! I have legit 30/65 bands that run smaller. Combined with the more stretchy particularly when wet swimwear fabric, the back band sits pretty loose (would def ride up if I adjusted the straps) and I should have gone for a 55HH. Also note that it has a typical Bikini closure instead of a 2 to 4 column bra closure, so I can't put it on a tighter hook. It is still comfortable tho and it's too late to get another bikini now, so I will definitely keep and wear it.

The cups fit fine, with slight quadding or gapping dependent on movement. The band is a tiny bit tight (my snug ub is 67, stretched band is 67) but fine.. My only remark is that the gore is too narrow, as comexim is known for their narrow gores.

    60H

    Fits

After my success with my Comexim direct order, I decided to branch out and order a few other fits other than the Padded Plunge. I haven't found much info comparing the fit of the Padded Plunge to the 3HC, but I reached out to Breakout Bras and asked them if I should size up or down since I am between sizes 60G and 60H. They recommended sizing down to 60G and said that the depth is comparable in the two cuts, but the open cup could accommodate any additional fullness. Other wearers seem to indicate that they wear their normal size in both cups. ... However, since Breakout Bras only had the 60H in stock, I decided just to try that size and see how it went.

I was really surprised when I received this bra to find that it runs extremely shallow. The shape of the bra is not what I expected from a 3HC, which I thought would be a very rounded cup shape. In reality, this bra is very flat and shallow. It lacks immediate projection at the wire and projection at the center of the cup. The upper cup closes back in very slightly, just enough to minimize gapping. It is not as open or as rounded as most open cup bras. I recently reviewed the Masquerade Angie, which I commented is a very shallow 3HC . . . this one is even shallower in cup depth!

At first, I thought that the minimizing effect of the cups could be due to a band that's too tight and cups that are too large. Before measuring the bra, I tried it on with an extender as well, but the extender did not improve the flat appearance of the cups. I confirmed that the band measurement of my bra is exactly the same of all of my other 60 band Comexims (except the Celebration, which came in 2-3 cm smaller than normal). When I am fully scooped into the bra, it fits my larger side very well, and fits my smaller side ok as well. It would look better on me with the cup height reduced 1.5-2 cm, but overall this is the correct cup size for me. The wires fit perfectly, and I really struggle with wires of 60G in all the styles I've tried.

Yes, it fits, but I hate the shape it gives me. If I were to try a 3HC style again, I would ask for reduced cups and maybe 2 cm total increase in depth. The straps on this style are closer set than on the Padded Plunge because the cup height is already shorter, but I'd ask for them to be moved in a bit further. I do get a bit of gapping when I move, but this is attributed to the tall cups and wide straps.

After browsing the photo gallery for 3HC styles, I am thoroughly perplexed. Some users' bras fit just like mine did, with a flattened minimized effect but with no fit issues from the cup being a size too small. Others seem to get a very rounded and full appearance in this bra, but when I tried this on with silicone inserts, it just made the cup too small but still oddly shaped. I suspect that this style suits the FOT ladies better, especially ones who don't need much immediate projection at the wire.

The styling of this bra is almost identical to the Basic Plunge. However, this particular bra has a plain black elastic strap compared to the textured elastic on my Padded Plunge, which is probably due to manufacturing batch differences as I got this one through Breakout Bras. The fabric on both is the same light satin, and the upper cup trim is the same narrow lace. The simple bows are a little bit different between the two bras, but overall they are very much sisters.

    • Hey, I have seen this today, if your 3HC is an altered version, then it may help: https://www.reddit.com/r/ABraThatFits/comments/6ltfdw/discussion_comexim_standard_3hc_vs_custom_3hc/

Anyway, I don't think the Comexim measurements on Bratabase are good references. Because according to this post, there can be a huge difference for the same labeled bra.

    • Agreed, I didn’t find the measurements on Bratabase to be reliable for me in determining Comexim measurements (except for the band), so I just ordered styles to try and asked Breakout Bras for advice. But sometimes they are wrong too.

I have the same problem with Ewa in my size and it’s really impossible to determine the right size based on measurements here, unfortunately.

It seems that sewing has a lot to do with the 3HC shape, and I think that’s probably why I also notice slightly different fits in the padded plunge even when measurements are identical. The sewn cups just don’t have the same consistency as a molded foam one.

I reached out to Joanna to ask her if she thinks requesting additional depth and shortened cups will help, or if the shape of the bra is really not suited to me. This is a good example of how I used to think I was shallow, but bras with truly shallow cup shapes NEVER fit me because I need immediate projection.

    60H

    Fits

My most recent Comexim order from Breakout Bras has been quite hit or miss. Out of the three bras I ordered, the Andromeda is the one I've wanted for the longest. I had been drawn to this style immediately when I came across the Breakout Bras Comexim section, but as it is one of the more expensive styles, I didn't want to order this before I was sure of my size.

Thankfully, when it came time to order this, Breakout Bras reduced the price AND had a 25% off sale going on. Thus, ordering from them as about the same price as ordering from Comexim directly ... during a sale, so I snagged my current size of 60H and crossed my fingers that the cups wouldn't run big or fit funny.

Luckily, this is actually my best fitting Padded Plunge style in 60H! I've noticed that the bras seem to fit a little differently based on the fabric, even though the foam used is the same, and the measurements are the same. It seems that some of the bras hold their shape better, while others become slightly distorted, despite the same band measurement. The Andromeda, with its thicker fabric, seems to be more stable in the cup, and this style along with Ingrid seem to fit a little better than Basic, which seems a bit floppier.

The fabric of this bra is once again different from my other Comexims. It seems to be a lightly peached satin microfiber, and the print is a marbled purply grey/light grey/pink combination. I thought this fabric was going to be a darker toned satin, but it is still lovely. It seems to be an update of the older style Luna, which was a marbled grey print in microfiber as well. However, the trims on this bra are very simple. There's no lace at the upper cup, the straps are plain purply-grey with picot edges, hardware is pink plastic, and the bows are square and made of two tone ribbon. Honestly the bows are my least favorite part of this bra as I don't think they really suit the style.

In terms of fit, this is really similar to my other Comexims in 60H except that the cups are more stable and I get a little less gapping than on other styles despite the same tall cups and wide-set straps. The 60H cup width and depth are perfect for me, but as the fullest portion of the cup is a little higher than my natural shape, I have some emptiness at the top of the cup on my smaller side. When I move, I can also see some gapping at the top of both cups that doesn't occur in the 60G. The taller cups also mean that the side of the cup and strap cause a little chafing. My hunch is that the problem is driven by the cup height because the cup width, depth, and wire measurements are pretty much the same as all of my other best fitting padded cup bras so far, and I get a pretty good fit on my larger side when I don't move my arms in.

The only thing other than the cup height that I don't love about this fit are the overlapping wires at the gore. I find overlapping wires to be a bit unstable on my body, because although my breasts are right next to each other with no gap, my splayed roots work better with standard gores of about 1"/2.5 cm. This gore is extremely narrow, about half of the width I am used to, so it takes some extra positioning on my body to sit properly.

The band is TTS and in my experience, only one of 9 Comexim bras in a 60 band came in off-spec, so I would suggest ordering your normal band size. This style is fully covered in printed fabric just like the Ingrid, so the band is double lined with stretch tricot for stability. The band and cups makes this a comfortable bra that feels supportive and gives great shaping. I am very happy with this additional Comexim style, and I can't wait for them to reopen so I can order more styles in 60H with customizations!

I have been obsessing over the Comexim Ingrid forever, ever since I first came across this bra. Since it's no longer available through Breakout Bras, I thought that it would be out of my reach as I didn't feel comfortable blindly ordering from Poland until I knew what size to confidently order, as during my initial research, I had put together a wide list of potential sizes and had no idea where to start. Thanks to my experience ordering Comexim standard plunge cuts through Breakout Bras, I felt pretty sure that 60G was a little too small and I'd do better in 60H. So, after ... a long and arduous wait, I received my long-anticipated Ingrid 6 weeks after placing an order with Comexim.

Originally I had concerns that the cup height would be a little too tall in 60H, but I decided to skip alterations for this first order in order to correctly assess the standard size and fit. However, it turns out my instincts were correct. While the 60G in the standard plunge cut is too small for me in terms of wire size and projection, the height was better.

Thus, in terms of sizing, I will plan to ask for 1.5 cm reduction in cup height and straps moved in 1 cm, which should give me the right wires and cup volume without the cups coming up too high on my body. Other than this, the shape of the cups is awesome and fits my shape well. The taller cups even play well with my tall roots, so I am thrilled with the overall fit of the Comexim standard plunge!

The band of my bras in this order all measured 54 cm, with one bra coming in slightly shorter at 53 cm. This matches perfectly with the average band length for this size according to the data here, so I am happy that the bands came in TTS to my expectations, as I had heard that the bands have been running smaller as Joanna tries to standardize them to their size chart. Based on my experience, I would recommend ordering your UK band size and add 2 cups to your index cup size, then converting to the Comexim cup size chart. So, for me, my normal size 28E converts to 28:6, which becomes 28:8 in Comexim, or 60H. This is much more accurate than their size chart, which tells me I should be in 65G or 70E as my underbust measurement is kind of between 65 and 70. The bra came with 4 hooks, which I appreciate. On me, this band size feels perfect for my 26.5" underbust, and I love that the leotard back keeps the band nice and low.

As far as styling goes, the Ingrid has a very pretty vintage English rose aesthetic that I love. The fabric is actually printed mesh over the cotton cups, which I didn't expect, as all of my other Comexim bras have been the shiny poly/spandex disco pant fabric. It's hard to tell the real fiber content of these bras, as all of the bras I ordered had the exact same label, and they are all made of different fabrics. A little odd, but not something I would worry about. I was a little surprised about the mesh though, and I would have a slight preference for satin rather than this fabric as I felt it would suit the style better.

In terms of trims, I feel that Comexim is a bit more simplistic compared to other brands, which helps to keep the costs down. My Basic Plunge in Beige shares the same upper cup lace, picot edged band elastic, textured strap elastic, and dyed to match plastic hardware. Simple ribbon bows decorate the gore and strap attachment, with no blingy charms to speak of.

In general, I am very pleased with my first Comexim direct order and can't wait to order more bras with the lowered cup height and moved in straps. This is an awesome fit on me and I am so glad that I took the plunge to try these bras!

Wow, so it turns out Comexim plunges fit me just fine if I don’t completely overshoot my size, who would have guessed? This may be controversial, but I’m honestly beginning to wonder if the common idea that Comexim cups are way too tall and need to be reduced or otherwise altered for almost everyone is a bit overblown and may even be the result of people choosing sizes that are just plain too big.

    30:7
is my general size range at the moment, so the general community advice for Comexim plunges with my frame and size range would be to size up one cup to 30:8 (65H) and ask for moved in straps and reduced cups. However, this 28:8 fits great and is in no way too tall or wide set in the straps. To my knowledge, it has no alterations.

It’s really pretty and I’m glad I found it, even though it’s aging a bit.

Bought from Breakout Bras, so the tag is in UK sizing and reads 28FF.

This is a great bra for my narrow/tall roots, even, center full, projected boobs. The wires sit right in my IMF with no extra space even on the sides. The only fit issue I've noticed so far is a tiny bit of quadding when I inhale when I'm on the biggest-boob part of my cycle.

It gives a pointier shape than my Belle De Nuit and Celebration Comexim plunges, but not excessively so. The striped fabric is smooth under shirts as well - the only times this bra shows is when I'm wearing a light colored thin shirt, but I wouldn't expect any black or colored bra to be invisible under those. The unusual design on the back - the two strips of elastic instead of extending the wings all the way to the clasp is a nice, sexy touch, but it probably isn't great if you're worried about back fat. Overall, it is a beautiful, high-quality bra.

The band felt loose but as if it had been stretched out by another person previously. Quad boob on my right. Felt as if there was a lot of flesh beneath the arms. The cup is made of foam, though not quite molded. Unfortunately, the 3-part cup design like this one just isn't the best for me. Also, it may be best to go up a size in this bra if you're used to Comexim unlined bras.

Well, this one fits... mostly. It's from Breakout Bras, so it's sized with UK sizing, rather than EU sizing. It probably is a bit small in the cup - especially for my larger lefty - which is why the center gore doesn't tack, I think. I could probably size up a cup (thoughts on this?) Overall, the straps are not too wide and don't rub under my arms. Relief at last! And, the underwire curves around my IMF on the outside, which to this point has been an issue for me. I may keep this one, though, since it gives (almost) cakes on a plate cleavage for me, and just order a 28G to see if that might solve the gore tack issue.

Honestly, gbless Comexim. This 60H/28FF bra fits *perfectly*, just like my other Comexims of the same size. I also want to note that the shipping from Bra Obsessed was incredibly super fast!
You can look at the fit information for details of the fit; all the boxes are checked as far as gore, straps, cup encapsulation, etc. In addition, the mesh is pretty soft on the outside (for mesh).
The colourway and detailing are absolutely gorgeous. Unfortunately I accidentally pulled the tassel off when I was adjusting it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I need to sew it back on before I take pictures because I just love it as a detail, so much more interesting and unique than your standard bow. I think some people might possibly find it irritating as you can sometimes feel it moving, but the thread material is so soft that the feeling is like a little whisper.
I've had my eye on this bra since it came out and I'm so stoked to finally have it!

Also, funny side story: I thought my boobs must've grown when I first tried the bra on, as the gore floated a bit and I had a little bubbling over the top edge of the cups and bouncing when I walked around. I took my measurements again and they hadn't changed, so I adjusted the straps longer and voila- perfect fit, tacking gore and all! I haven't had a new bra in a while, obviously *derp*

Tropical Garden is normally a plunge, so this bra was custom-made. It has true-to-size band and cups, but like other Comexim longlines, the cups are wider and shallower than their regular-banded 3HCs. This doesn't negatively affect the fit for me.

The cups fit well, but the band can get a little uncomfortable after a full day. My underbust is right at 28, and I have a bit more "squish" on my ribcage at the moment than I'd like. Once I get back to my preferred weight, the band will likely be perfect, but by then I'm sure I will have lost the cup volume to fill it out.

I have a few other 60H comexims but thus one seems to be larger in the cups. Its still a decent fit but might get passed on because of the sizing. I love the color though, soft and natural!

I love how this bra looks and feels but the band is much too small for me. I will try to use an extended and see how much that helps

    • My Florence also ran crazy small in both band and cup. It's so pretty, too.

I got this from another user. This bra was a custom order; blue spring does not normally come in this size and cut. The band fits like a 26 band, I can wear it on the first hook, and it is so supportive! That is a first! This cut gives the cakes on a plate! I might be able to wear this under some tops that require a beige bra because the blue shade is on par with my skin shade. It is definitely more shallow/more small? in the cups than the 60H comexim plunges I have tried. I quad in my larger side so the next size up would be a better match. Also because the band is tight I'll try wearing this as a strapless bra, just letting the straps dangle, lol.

Nice round shape and wonderfully high-quality (of course, it is comexim). I got this used and the initial owner got a lot of use out of it so the band is more stretchy than what works for my 26" UB. The cups are a perfect fit and this bra is very comfy and soft inside! I could wear this with a rixie clip but I already have wayyy too many bras so it's probably better off with a true 28 wearer or maybe tight 30 so I will just resell it.

Me: tall roots, close-set, average or narrow width, even but functionally FOT, centre-full, size asymmetry. 26" and 34" leaning.
