Ohhh I’m so sad 😭 I was so excited for my 60HH Comexim Ingrid but the cup is way too small! Seems funny because my 65HH was too big. It’s such a GORGEOUS bra I think I’ll bother Comexim’s customer service for the second time and exchange it again for a 60J. I’m hoping that the 60J Basic Plunge that’s coming in the mail won’t also be too small, since that model apparently runs small. I know I shouldn’t, but I feel bad that I have to make them go through the hassle of exchanging the same bra twice!

I won’t post a formal fit request since only the cup is too small, but I’m hoping my next (60J) guess for the Ingrid will be right this time. Fingers crossed!

    • Maybe there’s something the pictures aren’t capturing, but this actually looks pretty good to me!

    • Sheena oh yeah sorry, I accidentally put the first pic I took as the main one, and I hadn’t scooped and swooped as much as possible in that. I’m gonna go back and delete the ones where I half-assed my scoop & swoop when I get on my laptop! Check the main pic now, it shows the quadboob better.

    • 1

Oh poop. That's a pain. I hope the plunge fits

    • 1

Yikes. I am so sorry to hear it didn’t work. It sounds like you are on the right path.

    • Calluna thanks! Apparently the Ingrid gets really tall in the cup above HH, so I’m wondering if I should ask to have the 60J cup height reduced 2cm. I feel like if the 60J doesn’t work then this bra just won’t work, but I want to keep the closest fit, so maybe having it altered to get the best possible fit would be worth it even though that means it would be nonreturnable? I’d also get the straps moved in while I was at it since I have narrow shoulders.

    • Reduced cups might also reduce the volume, from what I have heard. I’d suggest looking at the 60Ks that Sonya and rachaelll have and compare the measurements to the 60HH Ingrid. I think both of them have listings which have various alterations. Alternatively, if you are concerned about the potential cup height of 60J, and considering alterations, maybe ask them to make it a 3HC? You can also see the measurements on my 65J, bearing in mind that mine has straps moved in and more depth at the wire.

    • Alterations seem to add about a cup size or so, so if you get shorter cups and straps moved in, you might want to order a 60K.

    • Sonya I feel like I need a degree in advanced differential equations to find my size in this! What I plan to do currently is wait for my 60J basic plunge to arrive, then go off of how that fits me knowing that the plunge runs small in the cup.

...and this is why I gave up on Comexim...I like to use my math skills for everything BUT my bra buying.
      Good luck :)

    • 1

FWIW, I just looked at the 65HH Jade that I borrowed from Sonya and the 65J Ingrid I swapped one of my bras with her for, and in my experience, the Ingrid cup height is marginally higher (6.9 vs 6.8) if that helps any. Both Comexim plunges are slightly taller than the Ewa plunges, unaltered (you can see the comparison in my Jade pictures). I have yet to order an altered Comexim plunge yet. Too scared!

    • They have this for under $20 at break out bras right now. Might be worth checking out

    • FitterSweet thanks! I do think I’m gonna wait on my 60J Basic Plunge for the size reference. I also heard Breakout Bras uses VERY different sizing than ordering straight from Comexim and I’m confused enough with just this already!

    • 1

And it’s final sale with Breakout Bras for this one. Assuming that it’s available in the desired size.

  2. Magic Blue Plunge Bra (229)

This bra is supremely comfortable. The fabric is soft and the padding moulds perfectly to my shape. It is invisible under clothing and gives a lovely round shape. The wires are narrow and the projection is good. The band is firm and feels true to size.

    Didn't fit

This was my first direct Comexim order - and let me tell you, I was so hopeful for a perfect fit. I had previously tried a 60J plunge and found the tops of the cup to be wayyyyy too tall. Although the bottom of the cup was a perfect fit in this size. But given the huge amount of extra unfilled space at the top of the cup, I didn't think my fit problems would be solved by sizing down one cup size (rookie move?).

So, I requested this bra to have a reduced cup height thinking it would solve my fit problems. HUGE MISTAKE. The cup does not ... have enough volume for me. The bottom of the cup is empty and my breasts ended up smashed towards the top of the cup (quad city) in a very unflattering pointy shape. This is a fit disaster.

On the bright side, the band is wonderfully tight and the requested alternations were made - the gore is narrowed and the cups were reduced.

I am not ready to give up on finding a perfect Comexim fit. I just bought an unaltered 60HH from another user as an experiment to see how that fits. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

    • Basic fits a bit small, so the other 60HH will hopefully fit better. If you find the plunges to be too tall and shallow, the 3HCs might be worth a try.

    • thanks for the suggestion! I will have to try one out.

This bra is sadly just "meh" on me. I was excited to try another Comexim, but it's just... Ok. Compared to a couple other bras with super close measurements, this one looks and feels wider and shallower. Band is stretched out so feels ok on the second to last hook, and wires are permanently wider than I like right now. My boobs stick out barely more than my ribs, which for me I don't like. (I want projection!!) Straps would definitely need to be pulled in for me standing naturally (not shoulders back). Somehow the cup is too tall for me, which is like ??? Then again it ... could just be the fact that the straps are being pushed forward by my armpits. Overall the cup feels like it's just sitting around my boobs, and slightly squishing in my apex, rather than scooping and swooping my boobs front and center.
And sadly, I just didn't fall in love with the colors in person. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Lace is pretty, colors in photos are so pretty, but in person and on me... Meh. Fit is meh. Maybe a brand new Comexim in this size would be more narrow and projected, one of these days I'll have to take a crack at ordering one myself! I don't know why I want Comexim to work for me so badly haha.

  6. Ginger Plunge Bra (365)

Was the perfect "nude" bra with projection when I was 116 lbs, now it's too small and gives me flatten east-west boobs. Sad, I find this bra so beautiful!! Band has stretched but was so tight at once point I needed an extender, so it's fine now. Wires have stretched, so empty space at the sides. Shallow at the bottom so a bit empty.
Another bra that I thought I wrote a review for and took pictures for when I first got it, but I guess not!

I am usually in between 60H and 60HH in Comexim, and this fits great, so I'd say it runs slightly small. It's a gorgeous, comfortable bra with a tight band. It also has more immediate projection than some of their other plunges, so yay!

A lady at a local shop ordered this for me in a 26G but it was a bit small and gave me quadboob that was very visible through my shirt. The band length was perfect though. The 28G is a pretty good fit, but I'd love to try a 26GG (55J, I think). This bra seems to have enough immediate projection and is very comfortable. I love that it has 4 rows of hooks instead of 3. The cups aren't super tall and I like that. I think that this bra might run a bit on the small side as compared to other Comexim plunges, but with relatively more depth. I can only compare it to the Rita and Adore, which seem to be larger and shallower, and the Ginger, which is also very shallow. My experience is limited. Overall, this is a great basic beige quality bra that I plan on getting lots of wear out of.

I so wish this fit me, but alas, the cups are just too tall. There's so much empty space at the top that it might as well be one of those full coverage bras that always fit awfully on me, and as usual with Comexim plunges, I get gaping near the gore. It sometimes pokes me painfully under my arms too because the wires come up so high on me.

Fit issues aside, Luna is a beautiful bra. I really appreciate the uniqueness of the moon print and the wavy white lace. Its condition is still excellent even though it has had at least two previous owners.

I would love to own this bra in a smaller size (maybe 60H or even G), but since it was discontinued so long ago I highly doubt I'll ever find one.

This is so pretty! I love how the bra is covered in lace all over. I kind of missed lacy bras when I started wearing fuller-bust bras. Ginger is composed of beige fabric overlaid by white lace and decorated with brown bows. Straps are the same beige ones used for Ingrid. I like how the color looks on my skin (although it’s a bit too pale to be nude) and I think it would work well on many skin tones.

Ginger is Comexim’s “deep plunge” cut, which is slightly more wide and shallow than their standard plunges. My breasts are projected and narrow but not too extremely so, and ... my standard Comexim plunges seem to have some empty space at the apex, so I thought that I could get away with the shape. Unfortunately, there’s pretty bad bulging near the center gore. It’s worse in reality than what it looks like in the pictures. It still doesn’t show under a shirt, though. Ginger doesn’t seem capable of handling center fullness very well. I’m sad because I would love the super low gore! Not sure if sizing up would help here.

Despite the quadding, Ginger felt pretty comfortable for the short time I’ve tried it. The band has 3x3 hooks and it fits nice and snug. The cups are very lightly padded. The edges of the cups are very smooth and I think that it would function well as a t-shirt bra. I would recommend Ginger for someone with slightly wider-set or shallow breasts looking for a great cleavage and something pretty and practical.

Beautiful bra. Comexim quality is always spot on. I really wish this bra fit me. The band is spot on and fits perfectly. Tight enough to stay in place, but never uncomfortable. The cups on the other hand, are way too small. There isn't enough immediate projection and the whole cup is too shallow. I have pretty substantial quadding. I'll probably end up listing this bra because it is too uncomfortable to wear for any length of time unfortunately

    Didn't fit

With little data available about Comexim unlined bras, I purchased both the 60HH and 60J Ivonne for "science." This is a beautiful bra!! The texture alone is impressive. Straps are fully adjustable. And, 3x3 fasteners are standard. The deep taupe color is saturated, rich, and I know this style will be my companion under white knits.

In Ewa Michalak unlined bras, I felt unsupported. The bras I tried had only 2x4 fasteners. Those of you with heavy breasts will appreciate the support of Ivonne's 3x3 fasteners. The Ewa Michalak HM, SM, and BM had too tall cups. And, when my breast tissue had enough room, I could not ... tolerate the excessively wide strap placement. But, this unlined Comexim has impressive lift, narrower strap placement, and a shorter cup. Not only are the straps attached more narrowly, but also the strap width is a supportive .7". Fellow short-rooted friends, Comexim Ivonne may be a viable option for you! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

The immediate projection is very good. Because I have not tried unlined Ewa Michalak's in a 60cm band, I can't fairly compare the 60HH Comexim, 65G Ewa Michalak, or 70F Ewa Michalak. From my perspective, I recommend Ivonne for short-rooted, projected breasts. Because I have very short roots, there is a bit of wrinkling along the top edge when I slump my shoulders. However, in my typical posture, there are no wrinkles.

Compared to Panache/Cleo, you will notice there is no in-cup quadding despite the transition to an embroidered fabric. The profile is smooth and round even under a thin, stretchy knit (see the photo). Again, the band comfort and support with Ivonne is superior to what I've experienced with Panache/Cleo. The fabrics on Lucy, Lily, and Marcie seem cheap and itchy. I find Ivonne's fabric sumptuous in comparison. Finally, the straps on Ivonne are positioned more closely together than what I have experienced with Panache/Cleo, too. There are strong advantages to trying unlined Comexim bras.

Had I been more attentive when I ordered, I would have requested overlapping gore wires. I intended to order returnable Comexims. However, after ordering, I learned 60cm bands are not returnable. I need a bit more projection or the gore width would be acceptable. I'm learning sufficient projection prevents my tissue from compressing into the gore wires. There is enough immediate projection and support from the fabric that the cup doesn't wrinkle at the base. Good news for projected breasts!!

I thoroughly recommend Ivonne!! And, I will order again with overlapping gore wires. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />

Technically this can stretch to 29" however I find it way too tight without an extender (do ribcages expand somehow over time? hmm). Even so, I wear this with an extender and it gives me the smoothest shape under clothes. I think that because it is not a reduced height cup, it curves in at the top where I also curve in, which makes it fit well. I don't think it is a 100% perfect fit, but I am content with it.

I am probably the only woman on earth who is not over the moon about the aesthetics of this bra. I don't know, it just doesn't move me. Something about the colour combination, not liking it really. I got it used, it is comfortable, but I don't fill the cups as I should. There is some gaping with movement, but at the same time my boobs want to escape in the middle. I think the cups have been reduced on this one. The band is stretchy.
