Really love the style of this bra; it's beautiful, like all of my Comexim stuff. As you can see in the measurements, the band here is really stretchy. I ordered this as a custom (60K, I'm usually a 28 in inches/US brands) but the band stretches so much that I think this is really more suited for someone who is usually a 65 in Comexim.
This bra is beautiful, like all of my Comexim bras are. I had modified this bra to accommodate my rib cage (usually need a 60 in this brand), but this bra has an exceptionally stretchy band, and I will be sizing down to a 55. I would recommend this to anyone who usually wears the 65 band in Comexim due to the stretch.

Overlapped wires at gore, strap a little shorter than used to for this size. Not sure if the strap is taken in or this is regular comexim strap width.
technically a fit, but could always use more depth at the wire as any tissue pushed up instantly goes right for the sides of the cup. The entire gristly mass fight with the wires, and skin wrinkles strangely. Measuring the internal depth across, most of the cup is only about 8" to 8.5" deep whereas my underboob is a strong 9" to 9.5" depth minimum across front.
Is it comfortable? Like a dream! Looks however. Well, thank heavens nobody else has to see how this fits.
This bra is gorgeous, so soft and so comfortable, but the cups are sadly too small. I love that the wires are narrow enough and that it doesn't dig in my armpits at all - such a rare blessing. I wish it fit!
This bra's measurements have been altered
Altered band,
Altered straps,
Custom made into a 3HC with straps moved in 2 cm, cup height reduced, and cotton cookie pockets added.
I have this bra in the 3-part half cup and I think it's really lovely in both styles. I prefer the fit of the plunge because the cups are much more narrow and projected. This bra fits very similarly to other 60K Comexim plunges, so it fits well but the cups are a bit tall on me and the straps are a little widely placed.
I love the look of Ingrid. I don't find this bra fits much differently from other Comexim 60K plunges, except the cups are a bit taller and deeper. For a non-customized Comexim, the fit is pretty good. Cups are taller than I need and the straps are wider placed, but not too bad. I have the matching panties in a size Small and they are really comfy.
This band is tight, and I noticed the wires were pulled really wide. So, I added two full extenders. The immediate projection immediately improved https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> However, the narrow gore I requested arrived as an overlapped gore. This gore, although delightfully narrow, still sits on my right center-full breast. Now, Ivonne is no longer available. Perhaps if I beg, they will have enough scraps to assemble a 65K with a narrowed and overlapping gore. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" /> Begging commences now https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Like the two other Ivonnes I have ordered, I strongly prefer Comexim unlined bras over all the others. I just need to identify the correct size and alterations.
A classic look of black lace over beige mesh. Straps are nicely firm. The cups on this bra seem slightly more closed than other Comexim plunges, which I appreciate for my soft tissue but others may not.
This is the second Brigitte Plunge I have owned, and she gets prettier with each viewing. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> This model has overlapping gore wires, reduced cup height, and reduced gore. The straps and the netting-like lace ruffle around the band are unique and beautiful. Although I adore fuchsia, pale pink never makes it to my favorites list. However, black striped straps and black damask print combined with pale pink are edgy and cause me to contemplate steampunk costumes. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
This 60cm band is a single layer of fabric which is stretchier than the double layer fabric bands. ...I require 60cm in single layer fabric bands and 65cm in double layer/lace fabric bands. In fact, Brigitte stretches more than the 65 Elena and 65 Papillion, both have double layer fabric bands.
Had I not previously experienced complete comfort in a 65K Eris plunge, I might be convinced this fits. But, I know it is slightly too narrow and not as lifting as the 65K, because I don't have enough space at the wire. Regardless, the immediate projection is better than seven other Comexim plunge sizes I have tried. The cup has not collapsed and there are no wrinkles at the base of the cups. Impressive.
My smaller breast has a bit of open space near the strap despite this bra having both lowered gore and reduced cup height: predictable for my very short roots. I fill the bra to the apex. This is why, despite my best efforts, Comexim 3HC are the best, perhaps only, fit for me.
Again, this is another stunningly beautiful, well-constructed, narrow, projected Comexim bra. Read more 170 more words
This is actually the most luxurious bra I've ever owned. I'm so sad to say that this cupsize is too small, so I'll be re-ordering in a 60M. I had the gore reduced and the straps moved in, both 2.5 cm I believe.
I never got to wear this as it is too small. It has been sitting in a drawer with the matching bottoms for well over a year. It's time to go to a new home. Construction wise it is beautiful, cute buttons on the gore. Still a bit bra like, but the seams are not super visible. The back fastener is a traditional bikini fastener, which means I cannot for the life of me do it up. No alterations on this, just a standard 60K.
I ordered this bra direct from Comexim. It took just about a month to ship, and so disappointing https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Well, just the fit. The bra itself is SO CUTE!! I really wanted this to work. This is now my 3rd failed attempt at Comexim, and I wanna get it right! I'm determined!!
But the Dottie is such a girly girl's bra, with the polka dot theme in turquoise and pink, and contrasting black and pink bows on the straps and the gore. I love that the straps on this are a bit wider, pretty similar to Freya's. However, they did seem to ...be a bit too far apart, though I asked for them to be taken in 2cm. I also asked for cookie inserts and they gave me the actual "pocket" for the cookies but without any actual cookies. Lol. The wings were perfect height! I was able to hook the band on the FIRST set of hooks (with a 27" Ribcage, there's a rarity for me). I ordered this with an additional row of hooks and eyes for the extra support. It does seem to be a true 60 band, measuring only 20.5" and stretching to just 28" (which was about the point where the wires were being distorted). The band did seem stretchy, but not loose by any means. But for some reason, while wearing the bra, it appeared as though there was too much tension or something at the center gore, strange.
Now onto the fit - I just don't know. I may be asking for fitting help/advice with this one. I just can't seem to pinpoint my size with this brand, and it's super frustrating!! But the "notoriously" narrow wires (at only 5.3" wide) still came out pretty far under my arm, which leaves me completely baffled. You can see where my actual boob begins through the empty fabric under my arm, and I get orange in a glass with both cups (more so on my left). I guess this is because there isn't enough immediate projection at the base of the cup? Yet there is some gaping at the edge of the cup (where I'm normally quad boobing out of them). The cups are def too big in that respect. It was almost a good fit. And the cup separation seemed perfect for my close-set boobs (only .5" apart). But the tall gore was def bothering me (at 3" high). The wires were digging into my sternum. Normally, I would request a lowered gore, but with my previous attempt in the Brigitte I thought the plunge style was the problem. So I decided to leave the gore height alone and only got the reduced cups instead. But, for whatever reason, this bra (this BRAND) just doesn't seem to be working for me. So sad.
Overall, this bra is "simply" adorable!! Fairly comfy (maybe more so if it fit properly). Good quality. I also got the matching thongs in a Small and didn't even attempt to try them, they are def SMALL!!! More like an EXTRA small! Lol! But cute. Oh well, I'm still going to continue on with my Comexim Quest!!! Read more 425 more words
With no side profile picture, I can't tell if the wires are too wide for you. Comexim wires are flexible, so there's that. OIG is not because of a shallow cup, it's caused by too-narrow wires that prevent your boob from completely getting into the cup and therefore leaving space at the bottom of the cup. This just looks like a case of too shallow and too small, honestly.
I would send these pictures to Anna, explain your problems, and ask for her advice. In my opinion, I think 60K is close but do not think you need reduced cups. You still have quite a bit of boob sitting above the cup of this bra - a regular height cup shouldn't be too tall on you. Dottie is also a newer style with their newer cut, that looks like a Free Time or Poison Ivy clone, and those cups are shorter than the Basic or older plunges to begin with. I've got shorter roots than you and don't need a reduced cup.
Bras that are too small can still cause gapping in weird places. Reducing the cup height reduces the overall cup depth, and moving the straps in can definitely alter the cup shape and fit. With more cup depth, you may be able to get more of your boob in the cup, and ameliorate some of these recurring fit issues. Just my 2 cents! A fit check may garner more opinions!
I did include a side profile pic, always do ;) If you wanna check again and let me know what you think, if not it's ok too. Lol. I requested the reduced cups because I wanted a bit less coverage for lower necklines. That, and I thought it might help with the fit issues I had in the Brigitte with "pointy" cups and empty fabric. And I don't think the straps were taken in on this at all, they're just placed too far out for me and irritate my armpit :( I wish you had seen the side profile pic I posted, because it's very confusing to me. The wires are def narrow yet I have empty fabric on the sides and they seem to come out too far. But thank you for the input. Much appreciated, and I agree. I think my next attempt with Conexim I will only ask for the additional row of hooks and eyes and leave the rest alone, as is, to see if the fit is better.
Oh I see it now! Yeah it looks too wide. Weird! Have you tried pulling the whole bra up into your IMF? Will it go in there at all? From the back view it kinda looks like it's all sitting too low. I'm still leaning towards it being too small.
As soon as I saw that empty space under my IMF, I tried pulling it up a bit, I even tightened the straps a good bit, but it just caused more gaping up top. I honestly think it might just be this model. I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on it. And I have a friend who had some pretty odd, awkward fit issues as well. I was told this is one of their newer cuts and it just doesn't seem to be working for me. But I'm gonna try one of their older models without any alterations and take it from there. I think I'll try a 60J. Thanks for all of your help :)
It does look suspiciously shallow for a Comexim! I hope that's not the way they go with all their models eventually. Projected ladies are already sorely hurting for padded bra options.
Yeah it does look like its sitting really low in the back view. I think it has to do with the immediate projection at the bottom of bra being to shallow. Prob not best for FOB boobs and better for softer tissue. It's sitting way too far under your IMF and does look kind of wide on the sides :-/
Yeah, looking at my pics, I see just how low it's sitting. And it's really obvious from the back view. I did try pulling it up. Maybe I need a 65 band? The band was super tight. But I think the bra was just too big in the cups overall. I don't know. Lol, I'm trying to make sense of this bra, and I just can't.
Oh, Comexim. Well, with my recent tissue migration and change in measurements, I really wanted to try Comexim, and took a stab at it when I saw this on eBay in a close approximation of what Comexim size I guessed I might be.
I was wrong, and it'll be returned. But first, the bra itself - very pretty, a nice neutral taupe color with a gray lacelike overlay. There's a pretty charm at the gore, and the whole thing seems well made.
The fit is way off for me, though. The wires are insanely wide for a Comexim at 6" - I added a picture of ...the measurement just to prove I'm not crazy. So this was disappointing, since the entire reason I tried Comexim was for the narrower wires. There is sufficient projection at the bottom of the cup for me that really reinforces my realizations that all the molded bras I've tried thus far are varying degrees of too shallow.
The band is a snug 28/60, stretching to 27". I can fasten it, although it would probably get uncomfortable over a full day's wear.
The cups. Oh dear, I don't even know where to start. They're huge, but I'm not sure in which ways. My boobs actually do barely touch what appears to be the apex of the bra, but there's so much extra space at the tops of them I could hide my cell phone, keys, and a cold beer. The bottom of the cup was trying to collapse, but I think it's because the whole thing is too wide and too big. I'll be posting a fit request to get others' opinions on how I should proceed with Comexim. I'm specifically interested in whether the cups are too big overall, or if I got the overall size mostly correct and just need to go with reduced cups going forward. Read more 214 more words
Although I'm still on the fence about the pattern of this bra (multicolored feathers) I reach for it regularly. I've had it for a few months and it still fits well on the loosest hook - so it hasn't stretched out much. Sometimes the straps can feel a little flimsy, but with the very stretchy band material and three hooks the majority of the support clearly comes from the band, which is good. I do love the colors and how thin/"normal looking" the straps are. Overall a great bra that fits me well! As with most Comexim bras the wires are very narrow, which works for me; but ...be aware if you're trying one out for the first time.
- Update May 2015 - this bra doesn't really fit me anymore - I could use another cup size and a bit more room in the band. Comexim bras are pretty stretchy so a tighter fit is more comfortable than it might be with a stiffer bra, but that means that one can end up wearing a tighter band than one ought. That's definitely happened in my case, I've had to sew the eyehooks back into the bra since I've stretched them out. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> BUT, I've been wearing this regularly (few times a week) for a year and it's still in great shape, no deformation of the cups, visible broken-ness in the elastic, or even fading color. This bra is absolutely beautiful! It's even prettier in person! I'm so sad it doesn't fit https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I'm not sure why I keep having problems with Comexim, but it's making it hard to pinpoint my size. I first tried the Snow in a 60HH, and tho it was also too small, it seemed to fit better in the cups than the Brigitte. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly. But I wish I could figure it out!!
I love the tightness of this band! I was able to hook it easily on the first, loosest set of hooks, which is very ...unusual for me and my 26" underbust! The material is like silky satin, very soft and comfy. I just love all the little details on this bra, like the frilly lace around the bottom of the entire bra, and the striped straps near the cups, the cute little pink satin bows, and the pink satin ribbon outlining the edge of the cups. Ok, I'll stop. This bra is just so darn pretty!!! And if you can get it to work for you, well, I'm very jealous, and it's worth every penny!! Lol!! I think I might need to try this bra without any alterations to the gore. I normally do best with plunge styles and always ask for a lowered gore but it seems to be the opposite with these Polish bras. I had a similar fit issue with my EM PL Blekitna Rapsodia, where the cups seemed to come to a point and there was some empty fabric near the top outside. I think it has a lot to do with the gore height and cup position. Because I do really well with the EM CHP style. So I'm assuming the same must be true with Comexim. But I might just have to ask for some fitting help. Read more 210 more words
Hi SmallBandBella! Have you considered going up a cup size? It looks like you still have some quadding in this. The lower gore that you had customized actually gives you more room for center projection than a normal gore would. Based on that, I would be hesitant to ask for a normal gore in this cup size, because I think it will give you less room for center projection than you need. Do you have any empty space at the side of the cup or do you get gaping by the straps at all?
Wow. Thank you so much for your help!! I actually do have some empty space at the outer top of the cups by the straps, they look very pointy cuz I can't fill the cup out, it's positioned weird or something. I really do think the gore height has a lot to do with it. I feel like it's too small in the cup (quad boobing) yet I can't fill them out. I think if maybe the gore was unaltered and the bra was more of a balconette style it would fit better (which is very unusual for me cuz I do best with plunges).
Happy to try to help! Hmm, spillage, gaping by the straps, empty space at the nipple area (is that what you meant?)? Almost sounds like orange-in-a-glass effect. Maybe a cup size up with normal gore, possibly with straps moved in? I agree that a lower gore could be part of the problem - I have a comexim basic and need more room for forward projection toward the center, but I'm hesitant to go lower gore because I feel like it just hinders the stability of the bra, you know? Hope you find something that works!
Aw thank you :) I also have the Snow in a 60HH and tho it's also too small the fit is much better and the gore is higher (I actually asked for a lower gore but I don't think it was altered). And the empty space I'm getting on the Brigitte is above my nipple on the outer part of the cup, kind of right where the seam is, it's creating a pointy cup. It's hard to explain but I took a pic of it. Maybe I'll try adding it to show where I mean. But I agree, if I decide to give Comexim one last shot, I'll leave the gore alone. The straps were taken in 2cm on this (I bought it off the original owner who had the same alterations I always ask for, lowered gore, straps taken in and 3 hooks). I really want a Basic! But I have no clue what size to get!! Lol!
Gorgeous fabric, feels like a silky smooth jersey material. Cups are restrictive at the top due to pink ribbon. Strap hardware is a complimentary black, straps are lightly stretchy but NOT fully adjustable. Pretty netted lace lines the bottom edge, adds a finishing touch to a very feminine bra.
