This bra is everything I'd hoped it would be, based on what others had told me. The straps are just a bit closer together than average, the wires are narrower so they seem to actually run around my breasts, rather than too far down and too wide to the sides. The details are pretty - I enjoy the simple lacy edging on the cups, as well as the bows at the straps and the centre gore. It feels well constructed. The straps are fully adjustable, which is always nice. Unfortunately, despite all that, it's too small in the cups for me, resulting in a bit of quadboob and some attempted crowding near the centre gore.
Very pretty! But I agree, definitely a cup larger.
Yes, I see a little overflow there. I wonder if wellfitting can advise? I'm pretty sure I'm keeping my EM bras, but I still havent decided firmly enough to WASH them so I can wear them lol
I took a gamble with this one, as I tend to fall out of plunge bras towards the center gore. But the fit is close to perfect! The wires aren't too narrow, my boobs stay inside the cups throughout the day, the support is impressive and I like the shape it gives me. The only problem I have is the band, which feels a bit too tight at the moment, but I'm quite sure it will relax with time and a few washes. The print is really pretty and the bows look very cute.
This is my first polish bra, and I'm really impressed! The quality of the material does not feel as high as that of other brands I wear, but I feel like it is comparable to Bravissimo's, and since it's so affordable, I am totally fine with it!
I took a long time deciding that I wanted to order this bra. I saw it come and go several times-here and on facebook, and I just wasn't sure. I thought it might be too frou-frou, and it is a little.
But so what! It turns out that it's really pretty in person. Kind of makes me feel like a fairy. The quality is Comexim's usual standard greatness, though I've only had it since July and I'm already on the 2nd set of hooks. As usual, their bands stretch really quickly, and the Butterfly is no exception. It's not a big deal, and I will take necessary steps when ...it gets too be too stretchy in what is likely going to be a few months from now.
Anyway.
Super comfy. The materials are great and soft against the skin. This bra is based on their basic, so it maintains that same fantastic shape and uplift with just a hint of moulding that they're so famous for. And it works really well here. The bra is just fun.
The underwear however, is a bit of another story. It runs SUPER tiny! I'm a small in clothing (and around a 6), but I usually buy mediums in underwear just so they don't cut into my hips. Got the large in these and they cut into my hips, which is annoying. Same goes for the matching Monaco bikini bottoms in a large-cut into my hips too much. Unfortunately, I also know that sizing up to an XL wouldn't work because it'd be far too big, so I think I'm just going to have to forgo Comexim underwear for a while and just stick to their bras.
That's fine and dandy though, as I'm finding out that Ewa Michalak's underwear actually fits me pretty nicely. Read more 191 more words
This bra is absolutely beautiful. It's a gorgeous robin's egg blue with grey stitching in an elegant design and I couldn't wait to put it on.
Except it's probably 4" smaller in the band than bratabase had led me to believe. This bra comfortably stretches to only about 27", though someone who was between a 28 and 30 band might be able to pull it off. That is certainly not me. I had quite a bit of distance between the hooks and I couldn't even close it! How disappointing!
However, the cups look to be almost the volume I need, though maybe a size or two too small. I am somewhere in the vicinity of a 30HH/32H for your reference. I'd suggest this bra to someone looking for a 28GG/H, though I'd aim for the smaller side.
Sigh. Guess I'll be re-ordering it a size or two up.
Okay so I totally bought this by accident. When I first saw it on Comexim's website, I didn't look at all the photos, and I failed to notice that it's a bikini. Oops! I am a polka dot lover and a bow lover, so I saw the two of those in one 'bra' and I got all excited. Well, now I have an awesome bikini top! So I'll be selling my hot pink freya one, since I don't exactly need 3 bikini tops (and I also have a tankini, which would make 4 bathing suits).
Anyway, still love it because again-polka dots and a bow. It is cute, and ...my husband's not the biggest fan (he likes both freya's better, psh), but I think it's still sexy because the wires are more narrow, which makes me more projected. My boobs look best with narrow wired stuff (though I can wear wider wires, they definitely look their best with narrower ones), so that's another plus. I haven't worn it yet, but I will soon!
And yes, I will be ordering the Audrey (I hope, since I'm on a no buy til Sept.), which is the actual polka dotted bra they make.
To note: Fits a bit smaller in the band than my 65J bras, but I imagine that's because it will stretch out when it gets wet. I also like that they make the clasp out of metal-feels more sturdy that way. Read more 133 more words
Alright, so this has been a total struggle for me. My Eris & beige basic in 70H both fit perfectly in the cup. So when it came time to get a black one, the 65HH should've been perfect. So I'm not sure if this is an issue of 'black bras always run one size small' or what (I have read many places that in certain bras like the deco, the black runs smaller than the beige), but it was much too tiny in the cup and thus felt a bit too tight in the band.
So I ordered the 65J, which is a decent fit but not perfect. ...Like the EM Wroszka, I am on the edge of too big for it. I'd say it fits like a 30G.5. The very lovely and helpful Amelia from Wellfitting was helping me figure out sizing. I elected to keep this one because it's pretty close, but I do wonder if 30K/65K would be a better fit. I could also definitely use higher wings to keep some of my armpit fat tucked in better, but oh well.
So yeah, I like the basic in black. It goes perfectly under my new Urkye Tuba in the same color. I wish it fit a bit better, but it might be asking too much. Read more 110 more words
This is the best-fitting bra that I own. I love the super-narrow wires, the super-tiny gore, the close-set and fully-adjustable straps, the thin padding, and the wings that seem to achieve the perfect balance of tall enough but not too tall. I wish that the cups were not so tall (some day I will have to get the shorter cup customization), and I wish that the top part of the cup was cut a little differently to accommodate my inner fullness, but I love everything else about this bra. And all that is not even to mention the fact that it's gorgeous!
Note: though this doesn't alter the measurements of the bra in any way tracked by bratabase, this bra does have reduced cups, or, in other words, it was ordered with lower cup height near the straps. Otherwise the cups on comexim bras are too tall for me-- and how much do I love that you can customize the bra when you order?!
This is absolutely gorgeous-- if you like the way this bra looks online, I can assure you that it is even more beautiful in real life-- well constructed, with a unique and absolutely stunning color scheme. The color is accurate in Comexim's pictures on my ...monitor-- the ribbon and lace at the top of the cups are a cool gray (I'd say with a hint of a blue or lavender). The cup material is red with light and dark blue roses (that don't match, but suit the gray accents) and faded yellowish green leaves. The straps are wide and comfortable, and perfectly match the gray ribbon and lace trim on the top of the cups. The bow on the central gore, again the same shade of gray, is over-sized and made of a slender ribbon. The print is continued on the outside band, and the insides of the cups and band are lined with red fabric.
The cups, as with all Comexim bras are narrow, with a narrow center gore-- this works very well for me, as my breasts are deep and I have a pretty small frame. The shape of the bra works with center-full breasts-- but definitely expect a lot of cleavage if you have deep breasts with a narrow gore-- this bra looks amazing on (IMO) and is a definite mood boost, but it brings all that you have front and center. Despite the potential for cleavage, it can be worn with a v-neck without cleavage with strategic positioning if the v-neck isn't too deep-- I still can have a gap in between my breasts (compared to the Deco, where the cup shape doesn't hold my (soft) breasts inside the cup, so my breasts spill toward the center and leave no room in between), which makes it easier to wear this bra in a work appropriate fashion.
After all this gushing, I'll admit that this bra is a bit too small in the cups, but it still looks good on, it's just a looooot of cleavage. 65J would fit well on a 28H or a 30GG in my opinion. The band is tight, as with most Comexims-- I can wear it without an extender, but it feels uncomfortably tight after a few hours so I will wear it with one for now. I need to update my measurements in bratabase, but I'm not going to do so now. As of this review, I'm about a 30H-- I think my breasts might shrink back to my previous size, though (I hope!), and then this bra will be a perfect size. My current best fitting bras are: Comexim Luna 30K with reduced cups; Cleo Lily in 32G; Panache Sport in 30GG; Freya Hello Dolly in 30H.
Comexim is absolutely my new favorite lingerie brand. Read more 419 more words
This is such a beautiful bra. I just needed an extender for this bra to fit. It gives me a more centered shape, especially when I do scoop and swoop. The straps are perfect for me.
This is a beautiful and well constructed bra. The narrow wires were perfect on me, the band size was good, and the band fit quite comfortably. I liked the relatively narrow straps too (0.6", narrower than most bras in my size). However, the cups were both too small on me and the wrong shape. I think 65K would be my best size in Comexim, but this is the third Comexim bra I've tried, and all of them have been absolutely wrong in cup shape for my breasts. The cup apex seems to be too east-west for me, and there is not enough immediate projection, and I get flattened and squished sideways. I think it's time for me to write off Comexim forever.
This bra is really beautiful and it seems comfortable, but it's way too big in the cups. I would need to go down 1-2 cup sizes, but the band was nice and snug, but not too tight.
I followed the size chart on the website, and even went down a couple of cupsizes, because I didn't want to end up with something that was too big.
This is a really pretty leopard print. Fits perfectly and is very very soft to the touch. I usually wear a 28GG at the moment and have so far purchased 3 Comexim plunge bras in a 65J. They are currently the best fitting bras that I own.
This bra has a wider band than the Tosca and Juliette bras that I have (3 hooks vs 2 hooks on the band), which I like. The cut of the cups comes up about an inch higher on me than in the cups of the Tosca bra.
The shape is really high and lifted. I could say that there's a slight pointy-ness there, but not in a bad way. It's just a very perky shape, which I find that I'm starting to prefer over the super rounded look. I get just as much lift in these plunges as I do in the Freya Deco.
Overall, I'm so happy that I ordered this! I will definitely be ordering more from this brand in the future...
At start, I would say that this was true to size compared to other Comexim bras. However, the band had a lot of stretch, and it wore out faster than the bras that I purchased from the later seasons. Because of that, you might consider going down a size. However, I should also say that I had only 3 good bras in rotation at the time, so that might've had an affect.
Very pretty and very comfortable, I would say it is a pretty true to size 30"/ 65 cm band as it is quite stretchy. J cup is not to be compared to UK J as it is quite a lot smaller.
Lovely bra, excellent quality, just a bit too small for me.
Very pretty! But I agree, definitely a cup larger.
