This is my first Comexim bra. The first thing I noticed is how tight the band is. My underbust measures tightly 70 cm (loosely 73) and it fits just barely and is the tightest bra I have. The cups fit well in 70HH. For comparison I wear Ewa Michalak in size 70FF. This bra has taller cups than my EM S-style bras.
Looks like a great fit! I also wear 70FF in EM and seem to hover in between the 70H to 70HH sizes in Comexim. I don't have Geisha, but just ordered Dottie and the Pin Up Girl swimsuit.
I find this runs smaller in the cup compared to Geisha bra, I have both in size 70HH. The gore floats and when I press it against my sternum the top edge of the cup cuts in. The band feels a bit loose and stretchy but it is fine for sunbathing. I would perhapse like to try 65 J or K, if that is even made. However I am keeping it as I need a suit now. It looks very good and stays in place if I do not attemt to run. I also like that the side view is sort of minimized. I have matching briefs in size M, (my hips are 94 cm, waist 73 cm) and it fits just fine.
Cute, and the band is nice and comfy, but the cups are just way too big on me. I wonder if it is because the cups are so big that the fabric just isn't being spread out over my boobs? Or maybe the band is too loose?
The band runs tight on this model. I can only stretch it to 31 inches without damaging it, so it's more like a 65/30 band.
I really wanted this bra to work, but I have to admit now that it's just not close enough. In fact, I'm now doubting whether any @Comexim bras will fit me, which is a shame because I thought this brand would be everything I wanted: pretty designs; the perfect amount of padding; and soft, non-painful wires.
When I first got it, the gore didn't tack at all, and the cups gaped. Bending the gore slightly towards me helped with both of these problems. ...The gore now lightly touches, and the slight gaping in the cups is acceptable.
Now for the unfixable problems.
These cups are simply too tall on my high-set breasts to be a half-cup. As someone pointed out in my fit check, it might as well be a plunge. I would be okay with this, but the fact that the bra doesn't fit as designed comes with some other problems.
As with most bras I try, the sides come up way too high, which means the wires yet again poke me under my armpits. I'm starting to get frustrated that this happens with nearly every bra I try, but for some reason I didn't anticipate it being an issue with Comexim. *sigh*
A few people have suggested reduced cups, and I really want to try this, but with the challenge of the language barrier and what I've heard about the unreliability of Polish post makes me reluctant. (By the way, if anyone has any reduced cup Comexim bras in this size range that they want to get rid of, my inbox is open.)
As for the appearance, it is a very pretty bra, and although I have to admit the lace pattern isn't my favorite, it is growing on me. The seafoam green color is beautiful. Read more 212 more words
Can you reduce the cups on a half cup? I was under the impression it was only an option on the plunge styles! I was hoping someday i could get a custom Joy half cup in my size but i also have high set boobies and really need reduced cups too. I will say that i have never had ANY problems with the Polish Post. My issues have 100% been on the US side ONLY! It has been awful, frustrating, and taught me patience but once you finally have a bra that fits, its worth it! As far as translation problems go, i also have this issue as my order is complicated lol. The Reddit Polish bra buying translation guide helps for simple alterations! However I need extra extra reduced cups, lowered gore, possibly wing alterations, and my straps moved in. I am not brave enough to even bother. The Polish language is far too complicated! I usually order through A Sophisticated Pair! You can get any bra, there really isn't a noticeable upcharge, and she deals with all the issues for you! :)
I thought I had read somewhere that reduced cups were an option for half cups, but I don't know for sure. I didn't know you could request different amounts of reduction, so that's interesting to hear.
Sounds like we have a lot of the same problems! I forgot to mention in this review, but I *always** have problems with straps. I have to angle them in so they don't fall off my shoulders, and that usually causes other fit issues with the cups. -.-
I had no idea A Sophisticated Pair had Comexim! I'll definitely have to check that out. I was considering Wellfitting for a while but their selection is kind of limited and the markup is higher than I'd like.
She doesnt have them physically up in her online store or anything. But you just email her what you want and the details of size and alterations! :) Well that would be awesome if it is possible! I will have to ask for my next order! Definitely very similar problems! Im glad i am not alone :) I recently was told that you could specify no more than x cms here or there. They are willing to do almost anything! Even a J-hook! I am currently trying to figure out how youd ask for that one ;) I have that absolute same strap problem with ANY bra ive ever tried! I always tell people i wear them like this / \ rather than | | haha. Moving them in should help! You can even specify a certain amount too. I will go with 2 cms next time i think. I will likely go other routes than Wellfitting too due to the mark up and limited selection. But i wanted to try a demi and they seem to take less time than any of the other methods (my email said up to 4 weeks from ordering for it to GET to me but usually arrives in only 2 weeks). Thats a pretty incredible speed! Maybe thats the reason for the price hike? I dont know im just sort of lost in the sea of bra problems right now haha :D I think you might be right there with me though :p

uniteacher have you tried ordering with reduced cups? In my size, reduced still isnt really reduced enough for me. Not to be a perfect fit at least. But ive been told you can be more specific about the height. Another user told me Comexim was looking for feedback lately and hoping to go a different route with their bras (at least in the larger sizes). So maybe eventually they will be better suited for you!
Yeah. I'm going to try. Another issue I had was with the thongs. They're sewn together exactly in the middle instead of 2/3 back like EM. I'm guessing there's a learning curve. I might wait until they've gotten more feedback and make some changes. I'm just wary about getting a custom made bra that I can't return if it doesn't fit.
Lovely seafoam green base color overlaid with black lace with a bow pattern.
Quite projected and narrow, and nicely low cut, oodles of cakes on a plate cleavage. Plenty of room for fullness at the bottom of the cups and at the center gore.
Fits true to size in cups (like a 32G) but runs a band size small.
I'd love to try this again in 75HH as I'm leaning more on 32GG side now.
Bratabase wasn't allowing decimals, so here are the true measurements of the 70HH. Depth 10.25", band 22.75", cup height 6.75". Bra gave beautiful shape, but was about a cup to small for me. Im at that awkward stage right now where 30gg gives me quad boob and 30h gives me slight gaping. I'm going to try another comexim halfcup in 70J to see if the quadboob disappears.
Very pretty lightly padded bra. Although the tag says 70HH in Polish sizing, I suspect it's mislabeled. I can easily fasten it on the tightest hooks, and the cups have considerable gaping in the middle & on top. Even so, it still gives that great Comexim shape. It just cuts into my arms because it's too wide for me.
This bra to look at and feel is stunning, it's a beautiful colour and has been very nicely made. I'm pretty miffed that it doesn't fit, not by much but enough so that I will have to sell it on at some point. For me the wire at the side isn't long enough, I had it on for a few minutes and it was pretty uncomfortable, digging in quite a lot.
