Right now, I'm between a 32-34 band but this 34 was definitely too loose. I'd recommend choosing the smaller band size if you are between sizes. The cups are extremely closed on top, so not a good choice for upper fullness. I'm FOT and this gave me epic quadboob. I jumped around a little to simulate movement and it almost fell off.
The material is soft and there are small strips of silicone along the upper and lower elastic of the band. There are also mesh side slings in each cup which are not as soft as the rest of the bra.
Overall, I imagine this could work for someone with wider, shallower, and more full on bottom breasts.
I got this bra for very little money, which was great, because I was pretty sure it wasn't going to fit and there was no way I was paying full price, even though it's a lovely color. Surprisingly, it's not that bad.
I'm usually a 30FF/28G, and I elected for a 28GG because a) the band was listed as being a little stretchy, and b) the shallow cups inspired me to size up for some more room.
The fit's actually pretty okay. The straps are set too wide, but I don't mind tooooo much because they're actually surprisingly soft. The cups are kind of flimsy and soft and just kind ...of ridiculous looking, because they're so frilly and flouncy. I like them, they're just fun.
So the shape of the cup is that it's very shallow at the bottom and gets progressively more projected until the very top of the cup. So my nipples end up at the very top of the bra and the top of my breasts sit out on top, which results in that enormous cakes-on-a-plate cleavage.
From the front, the bra looks pretty unimpressive. But from the side, it's like, oh, hi, boobs! Which is kind of fun. Since it's so soft and comfortable, and I got it for a song anyway, I think I'll keep it as a fun night out or lingerie bra. I can't wear it under most of my clothes (so. fluffy.) but I can wear it around when I want my boobs up and out.
I'm already wearing the bra on the second hooks, but as I don't anticipate using it as an everyday bra I'm not terribly worried about that. When I slouch heavily I get a little bit of gaping but my normal sitting style doesn't result in any. The lace at the top sticks up on its own.
So comfy, so fun, so ridiculous. Read more 202 more words
Band: wide 3 hook closures. Firm, I'm between sizes so I'd rather size up (34 instead of my usual 32) Cups: bottom doesn't wrinkle but the seam feels funny at the bottom, probably not enough projection but just by a little. Cups don't offer enough center fullness for me so I quad really bad Wires/gore: average-narrow. Looks like CK definitely did start making their bras narrower. Gore is really low, perfect for my close set breasts Appearance: beautiful red color. A light daisy print on the fabric and daisy embroidery on the mesh/lace. Slightly pointed silhouette but nothing crazy.
What's good?: Damn near everything. Gives great shape, soft, and pretty. Reviewers on Brastop recommended ordering a cup down from true size and that seems right, as I'd be swimming if I bought a 38FF.
What's bad?: Not much. I haven't wore it for a full day yet. For now it's on the stiff side, but after years of loose, move all around bands, I'd prefer it stiff and the underwires not bending all over.
Updated: Apparently this fits like shit. And here I thought I was out of the bra matrix! The cups are too shallow for me, so it seems as if I should lower the band and up the cup. To what, I don't know, perhaps a 36G-H.
While the fit of this bra is sigh-worthy, the construction is solid and keeps the horrific fit from ruining the practicality of this bra. The key to this bra's design is the vertical boning along the seams. Without it, this bra is just another wide, shallow strapless with an inward curve at the top that may be problematic for FOT shapes. The cups run small, but I don't know how much I'd recommend sizing up, since it is functional even with the gore a gaping 2" from my sternum. My very projected, firm-ish breasts pushed this entire bra forward at the top and my FOB shape ensures the ...underwires sit rather low. The boning keeps the whole cup from just flopping over (a la FOB boobs in the Deco strapless). My biggest complaint is the the forward tilt of the bra causes the bottom of the wires to dig into my ribs after a couple hours of wear. It's also rather high cut under the arms and at the gore, so it's not incredibly versatile. Sizing up in this would make the wires uselessly and uncomfortably wide for me, so I feel this is my best fit in my usual 30G. Read more 93 more words
Hi, Not sure where you have found this bra from, but this is not final production of this product, so although you found this fitting not to your liking I would encourage you to have a go in a bulk production sample. The final bulk production is a completely different shape and wire, so I would definitely have a look. If you are wondering how I know this, the final production (and final fit) has completely different fabric & no boning. Again, not even sure how you got hold of this sample! The development of this product has taken nearly 3 years with multiple trials in fit, fabric and design, I would hate for you to write it off because of a product that wasn't representative of the final fitting. Same with the 32F below.
Thanks! Charlotte
Do you know if there's any particular reason why the boning was removed? It seems like it would be helpful to provide support, especially in the higher cup sizes.
Right? It seems like they took away the only feature that got a positive mention!
This is pretty much exactly what I want in a bra... except slightly more coverage than I'd want. It fits my splayed, FoB breasts perfectly! The band is super snug and the straps are multi-way's so I can wear it with racer-back tops. Update: Bought a second one and still love it. Hopefully I don't get bigger before I get a good amount of use out of these two!
My habitual size is 32D, because I can buy it in stores, but I think I am more a 30DD than a 32D. I have small but not flat, wide, pointy and full on bottom breast.
I have read all the revues in bratabase and in blogs, and they say to go down a band size, and go up one or two cups size for this bra. And bratabase say the 28F may fit me in cups, but too tight in band. So I ordered a 30DD, a 30E, a 28E and a 28F. The one who fit me the best is the 28F (bratabase, you give ...good advice https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" /> )
All is perfect in the fit of this bra, expect the center gore which is too wide at the top, just between my breast. And I have empty space in the smaller boob's cup. But I have those problems with all of my bras.
I can close the band with the loosest hook and and feel supported even if I can put more than 2 fingers under the band. (If I had heavier breast maybe it will be too loose).
The bra gives a flat and round shape, and lift a lot. I have not the "marie antoinette cleavage" that some woman have with this bra, I just have more breast tissus in the top of my chest than with other bras. And my boobs looks bigger. It is difficul to wear this bra with a V neck top, because the bra shows.
I am tall, with broad shoulders, and the straps are perfect !
I have the peach/plum color, it is beautiful, I love it !
EDIT 3 MONTHS LATER : I altered the center gore, now the cups are very close together, so it fits my body. I can close the band easily, and put the band away form my body 6-7cm, but it feels too tight (the underwires dig in my ribs). I wear it with and extender, and it is very confortable for me now. With this 2 changes, this bra becomes my favorite ! I wear it all the time !
EDIT 1 YEAR AFTER BUYING THE BRA :
Ok, so now, I have other bras that really fits me, I can say this one is not confortable, because wires are too sturdy and the band is too tight in size 28, even now it is old. Wires are a bit too narrow too. But the good point is the shape : so so good for lifting my breasts ! It is definitely my best bra if I want my nipples hight or spectacular " tall full on top shallow" sort of cleavage. This bra gets old quite well. Materials looks cheaper and color is not as bright as it used to be, but the shape stay perfect, and the band stay firm. Read more 369 more words
I love this bra, BUT, it's impossible to wear. Similarly to a problem I had with the Curvy Kate Tease Me, the fit is great except for the fact that the underwires are VERY painful. It is killing me that I can't wear this beautiful, well-fitting bra because the underwires stab me so hard that I am left bruised for days if I try to wear it any longer than a couple of hours.
Bratabase will say that it fits, because it looks and feels like it, EXCEPT for the severely painful underwires.
I do not have this problem in any other bras (except the Tease Me, which I also had to return for this problem). I have the Cleo Lucy, which is also a balconette, and I cannot even FEEL the wires on that bra. Same size, same fit, same tightness, but somehow they managed to make the underwires NOT feel like death.
I just got this in 28E and I have to say I was thinking the same thing. When I held it up to my body right before fastening it I was thinking "oh god, the cups are so narrow," and I don't think it was actually that the cups were too narrow narrow, but I guess that I could feel how firm the wires were before I even fastened the bra! It fits me ok but I think I will try swapping out the underwires when I find some plunge wires lol. Crazy. I have never had wires that feel like this!

I ordered this bra in the colour "wine" and it's a real beauty.
It does fit, but I'm not happy with the shape it gives me. Especially compared to the Tease Me bra by CK!
The cups are very flat and although I need very flat cups, too much for me.
Nice colour, nice quality, but this bra just isn't right for me.
Attention: I experienced that the CK Showgirl Models vary from season to season, maybe another colour from another collection might actually fit better. I won't give up on this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
Ugh, that stinks! Inconsistent sizing between seasons?!
yes... e.g. the Tease me in purple: Perfect. Tease me in pink - nipplegate. same size :(
Can you measure both? So we can spot the differences?
unfortunately I don't own the pink one, it was a friends bra and she sent it back. But I remember some stuff, I will add this information to the Tease Me Review I wrote :) The pink one was not as high as the purple one and the cups were more shallow.
Essentially this is a great bra but I haven't yet tried it in a size that fits me. It's beautifully made, gives a great rounded shape and is supportive and comfortable.
I bought this bra on eBay, and could not tell from the pictures exactly how beautiful it is. I thought it would be kind of plain, but the polka dots and the embroidery on the straps (so, they aren't fully adjustable for those who need it) add some unique qualities for the bra. This is not my grandma's white bra, and I feel amazing wearing it! I was concerned with the seams and the shape until I put a shirt on over - it gives a wonderful, uplifted shape under clothing. This is my first 30J bra (I actually got all four 30J Curvy Kates I ordered today ...- it's like christmas!!), and I think I have found my band size. In the past when I've tried 30 bands, they seemed to cut off my breathing a bit. Looking back, it is probably because the cup was never quite large enough. The center was a bit tight against my sternum, thanks to me being full in the middle, but I pushed the wires down the canal (there was a bit of room near the armpit) and now it is much more comfortable. I have only worn this a couple hours, not all day, but it is looking like the Princess will be one of my every-day favorites! Read more 109 more words
My most lovely bra now. Love the fit and the color. I was unsure I could wear it but even if it is not my usual plain style, it is highly wearable with most dark outfit and the pink won't show out thanks to cute design. I like the shape it gives, and the comfort all day long. The fabric is soft and thin but supportive and the overall appearence make me wish buy other colors.
Fab! Uplifted, round, and beautiful fabrication - even the inside of the bra is lined stylishly. The only downside is that the wires come up high under the arms, so it isn't really suitable for sleeveless tops. If Curvy Kate made this in a plunge version, it would be my ideal bra.
I generally don't work too well with cut-sew bras because they give me a cone shape. However, I decided to give this a try and was pleasantly surprised. I still get some east-west projection, and the cup is sometimes a tiny bit small (leading to a slightly odd shape under my clothes). A larger cup could lead to wrinkles, though. I suppose it depends on the time of the month! I'll try this in a larger size next time I order.
This is amazingly pretty and detailed. I wear a lot of close-fitting non-ribbed tops in summer, and the seams on this tend ...to show through.
As for comfort, it supported various activity and moving in funky positions. Band is quite snug but stretches right out. I feel like the gore presses the sternum more than other bras I have, but I got used to it.
Oddly, sometimes the bra fits just fine when I put it on, and the breast tissue migrates around to create a muffin-top after several hours. I am wondering if this is due to the wide underwires, other placing of the seams, or the softness of my breasts. Read more 91 more words
I usually don't go for unpadded bras, but this one I really like. The band is firm and supportive, fitting well on the first row of hooks. The cups are a perfect fit, encasing all the breast tissue comfortably. The straps are fully adjustable and the criss-cross pattern and ribbon detailing are very pretty, but still sexy due to the black base colour.
This bra does not give me a cleavage, but creates a smooth, rounded shape under clothing. It is very comfortable to wear all day long and is appropriate for any occasion. It is even good as a bedroom set as it a matching suspender belt is ...part of the range.
I have two minor gripes with the bra. The first is that the ribbon is too long on one of the cups, so it bunches up slightly. I've seen this in some of the Curvy Kate model videos too, so I think it's a common error. It doesn't really detract from the look of the bra though. The second gripe is that after I have been wearing the bra for a while I have noticed that my breasts shift slightly so a lump appears between the edge of the cup and where the fabric changes to double-lined. This is only really noticeable under very tight tops, which I don't tend to wear so considering the comfort and good looks of the bra it doesn't put me off wearing it. Read more 131 more words
What I like most about this bra is the way it looks. I bought the lemon and black coloured one and the yellow colour is really muted. I also love the lace and ribbon on the tops of the cups.
Fit wise, it's ok. For some reason I get some gaping at the top of the cup on my bigger breast, but on the other side it sits fine, otherwise the cups fit great. One thing to note is that the cups themselves are a little itchy, I don't know if washing them will change that so I will update once I do so.
Generally, I ...think I prefer unpadded bras (when I say this bra is padded, I mean the cups are made of foam. This is not a push up bra).
The band itself is a bit stretchy, but not too stretchy. When I stretch the band while I'm wearing it, it doesn't stretch too too far. I probably could go down a band size, but I'm not sure if a 28 would be too small. I generally prefer a tighter band anyway so your mileage may vary.
One last thing I'd like to mention is wearability of this bra. As much as I like the frills, I have maybe one shirt I can wear it under. I think this bra would work best with shirts that don't have any stretch in them like a button down cotton shirt, otherwise the bumpy lace will show.
So, overall, this bra is super cute, but in my opinion has limited wearability.
Update: I haven't worn this bra much, therefore I haven't washed it that much either. So to update, it's still a bit itchy. Read more 182 more words
First of all, the trim and ribbons are definitely for funtimes, not for wearing under shirts. I'm not sure I have much of anything I'd wear this out under.
It fits okay at the loosest hooks, but it makes me feel soft and bulgy and I'd need to tamper with the wire to make it comfortable at the sternum.
It's more of a plunge than a balconette, and I think my boobs are too soft/bottomheavy for plunges. The band also smooshes skin and back fat unlike any other bra I own, and I don't have much back fat to smoosh.
Fits best in the band and underwire when the straps are pretty loose, but at that point the top of the cup sits away from the breast where the cup attaches to the strap. On the other hand, if I hoick up the straps it bulges my backfat more and breast starts spilling over the cups towards the center
It's cute. It seems well-constructed. It's just not shaped for me.
This is a about the Ivory/Black Thrill me, for other colours, check those reviews. ---------------------------------
This is my third Thrill Me, and yes, it's different too. Curvy Kate is in general quite consistent, but that doesn't apply to the Thrill Me in the Showgirl Collection unfortunatly.
This one is absolutly lovely. The feel of it is great, it's much more supportive than I've ever expected and gives a really nice uplifted cleavage.
However, that doesn't help when it just doesn't fit. It is known that the Showgirl range tends to be a lot larger in the band, but that this one is a lot larger in the cups than the wine/navy ...even though they look identical, that was unexpected. After comparing the wires (there will be a picture up soon) I've realised that this 28H actually has the wires of a Curvy Kate 28HH, and strangely enough I'm not the only one that have encountered this problem, this model is actually a cup size larger than the wine/navy one.
The straps is a bit wide on me on this one too, which probably is due to the too large band size. I still wear this. With some extra padding the cups are fine, and well, when the tightest hooks don't make it I'll alter it instead. This is how good this bra is.
I can certainly recommend this, but, if your interested do take the time to choose size wisely. One band size down and in most cases, keep your ordinary cup size. This one runs big compared to other Thrill Mehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_confused.gif" alt=":s" /> so be careful. Read more 158 more words
On me, this bra is very difficult to fit. I have the red in 30F, and it's too small. Then I have the white in 30FF, and it's slightly to big, but still a better fit than the red. So in my size, the Princess bra runs small in the cup. The back band fits well.
It gives a good shape under clothes, but I find it rather uncomfortable to wear, as it's very itchy. The white more so than the red, I think. I don't think washing helped that much on the issue. Also, the little (and very cute!) velvety polka dots take colours badly, so if you have the white version, don't wear it, as I've done, under dark coloured clothes, if you want it to retain its white freshness.
