This is about the blue-white bra!! ( I also have red and pink).
The bra is too small for me in the cups. I deliberately ordered it in this size, because I had issues with bigger cups as well, but but. Well, My nipples don´t stay in the cups and I quadboob, plus the wires are too narrow for me.
I usually wear 28F (Panache), and in this 30DD the band is about okay for me. My underbust measurement is 26-27 inches, comfortably tight. This blue colourway is overall smaller than white-pink and red.
Straps are soft and comfortable and they are fully adjustable. I do like the appearance of this bra, that´s why I keep ordering it in all possible sizes... I want it to work for me!!
(Note that the band length varies with colour!!! Un-altered and non-stretched band: - blue bra 59 cm (EDIT. the blue bra is overall a little smaller than the red and pink) - red bra 62cm - white/pink bra 63 cm!!! )

I usually wear 28F (Panache), and in this 30DD the band is too big for me. I altered it "down" by sewing extra elastics to the band, I took a picture of it (the extra elastics are also red and they do blend in very well so you have to ...look carefully!).

I wonder if I have a fluke. The cups are TINY! I'm sure I'll be getting a message to confirm my measurements, because the wire length, volume, and wire width are all at least a cup smaller than what's already posted here on Bratabase! My measurements are 4.5" width and 7.0" depth, and the other 30DDs average out to 5.0" width and 7.7" depth. I was actually afraid they'd be too deep based on those measurements, but holy quadboob batman!! Talk about milk-maid boobs! While I don't get cleavage (the SUPER high, painful, pointy gore prevents that) my breasts are VERY round and full looking. I swear, Curvy ...Kate accidentally put 30D cups into this bra. It has closer measurements to the 28DD than the 28E/30DD measurements already plugged into this website. But the band is exactly the same length as my 30DD Tempt Me bra. So I'm confused. I've read complaints about varied measurements even among the same bras as well as styles with Curvy Kate, so I guess they need better quality control?
Maybe it will fit better once my PMS swelling goes down, but the wires are definitely too narrow and WAY too stiff to do much adjusting to. The cups are slightly separated, and the wires come up really high in the middle, so the gore pinches a bit of tissue into my sternum, which hurts like a bi-... well, you know. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Again, since the wires are really thick and stiff, I can't bend the wires away from my chest. The bra feels super tight, even though the band is definitely too large for me. I'll wait a few months before attempting any alterations, and if the cups are still too small, I guess I'll have to sell this beauty that I waited over two weeks for. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Besides the horrid, painful fit, this bra is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BRA I HAVE EVER SEEN. IT IS SOOO PRETTY. The satin is soft, the lace on the cups is multi-layered, and the trims and findings are so elegance and Victorian, which makes me extremely happy. From the bows, to the embroidery, to the fabric selections, the company really outdid themselves with the styling of this bra. The only thing plain about it is the back half of the band. I think they could have continued the satin all the way around the bra, which would make it less stretchy, and definitely continued the lace trim all the way around the edge. But who cares about the back?? I (and my fiance) can't stop staring at the front!! The straps are also super adjustable, which is a plus, and aren't too far apart, which was a problem for me with my Tempt Me bra.
In conclusion, very beautiful, but definitely not the right shape or size (could be a fluke, maybe another 30DD in this bra would fit?) and I'll probably have to sell or exchange.
My review is for the CK Thrill Me in jade/fuchsia, a padded halfcup bra with two vertical seams.
The cups are shallow on the buttom, and push the boob tissue upwards, creating a 'cakes on a plate' kind of cleavage. However, they are not as shallow on bottom as the Curvy Kate Tease Me [showgirl Collection] (SG2001). The cups are also open on top, but they didn't gape as much as in the Tease Me. The cups run small-ish, so if you're looking for cleavage, stay with your usual size. If you want a bra that fits well and doesn't squish that much (but may be more covering and less ...cleavage-y), go up a cup size.
Halfcups always have wide wires compared to other bra styles. The wires of the Thrill Me are, however, among the narrowest of all halfcups I tried in that size. They are a smidge narrower than Cleo's wires, and also feel narrower than the wires of Freya's halfcups. They are sturdy and don't stretch with the bra band. This may add to the impression of narrow wires.
The band runs very stretchy for a 30 band. It stretches to >32" easily. If you're looking for a tight band, you should go down one sister size. Read more 98 more words
I ordered this because I like molded cup bras, but have a hard time finding models in a sub-32 band with wide wires. One of the few bras that I've found that has wide enough wires is my Curvy Kate Fleurty, so I was hoping that they could be my go-to brand for wide wires. Unfortunately, though the wires seemed wide enough on the Starlet, the cups molded into a shape that was too projected and cut in too closely at the top edge. I had a definitely "orange in a glass" where I had both quad-boob across the top edge yet was only barely filling out the apex of the cup.
Appearance-wise, this bra was very attractive for a standard "molded cup t-shirt bra." I liked the diamond-pattern mesh overlay and the little star charm in the center. I just wish it had fit better.
At the time (my bust has since changed) the band was too tight and uncomfortable, while the cups were too small as well as wrinkling in certain areas. The contrasting embroidery was pretty, the cups are semi transparent. The the gores and wings are too short for my needs, particularly to move migrated breast tissue back into the cups. The straps are fully adjustable and adjust easily and hold very well due to the strap textures. The material is soft, as well as the embroidery. It was quite uncomfortable for me to wear at the time due to an incompatible shape, and now I've moved far past this size (to 28FF). It's a basic black bra with a little contrasting upgrade of colourful embroidery and ribbons. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
This bra is not my actual size, it is at least one cup size too small. However, the band runs very loose, and I've come to realize that I prefer more snug bands.
This bra is striking, and it's both sexy and elegant. I have it in black and gold; perfect for wearing under a little black dress. It's not good for a t-shirt bra, because the lace is dramatic, but it can be worn under more clothing than I expected from seeing it in a picture. Entice has a theatrical "showgirl" flair, but it's functional, soft, and extremely comfortable. This bra is shaped just right for me. I'm finding Curvy Kate to be a brand that seems to have completely random sizing requirements for its different styles. My 30DD Entice has cups and a band that are very different ...in shape and size from my Curvy Kate 28DD Daily Boost. Entice's cups are shallow, and they run a little small (based on my experiences with 30DD cups). While I find Daily Boost's wings to be way too short and its band overly stretchy, Entice has nice tall wings, and the band is very supportive. The bands in the two bras are so different it's surprising they are sold by the same designer. I love Entice and I hope Curvy Kate continues to keep this shape in their offerings! I have shallow, full on the sides breasts that are weirdly close together. This bra gives me cleavage! The underwires are wide enough and the cups are shaped exactly the same way I am. This bra is supportive and gorgeous. Only complaints: My torso is narrower than the bra is. I'd love if the gore were even narrower (keep it a plunge!) and if the straps attached to the cups closer together at the front.
Aesthetically, this bra is gorgeous. The fabric is satiny white with a black mesh overlay, so it's almost silvery in person. It feels quite luxurious. I really hoped it would work because it's difficult to find cups that are open enough for me on top. Unfortunately I don't have the volume for it and the band is way too loose on me. I even waited for that third of the month when I retain water in hopes that the fit would improve. It helped, but the band is still too loose and it kind of gapes at the top. I think the fit would be better if the band were tighter and the cups were closer together. However, if I press the cups/wires against my sternum and press up, I get really awesome antoinette cleavage. If I can't find a nice home for it, I'll shorten the band and maybe the gore so I can wear something pretty during shark week.
Really cute, comfortable bra. I think it might not be quite the right shape, my left boob wants to escape into the center, but it's comfortable and very flattering under fitted shirts. Wish I had it in 28E, or 26F, given how stretchy the band is. The band and location of the straps is such that this is NOT appropriate for a Rixie Clip. I can't see how you could make the band "shorter" without damaging the bra. I'll leave it as-is if I choose to wear it.
Much better fit than the Tease Me, which is disastrous in smaller sizes. The band is too big for me, and seems to be on the stretchy side. The cups are quite shallow, and the gore is very low. This bra would be perfect for shallow-breasted ladies that need a plunge, as this is one of the very very few plunges that work on shallow breasts.
I am shallow-shaped and have yet to find a plunge that fits, in part because my boobs are fuller in the middle and always quad along the inner edge of the cup. Although the underwires are very short, the tall sides help to encompass softer sideboob. The low gore is actually quite comfortable, but I would've preferred a snugger band and larger cup, perhaps a 28F. I can definitely see this bra working great for someone with wide-set boobs.
This didn't fit me - wrong size - but I've heard it called the "daily beast" in terms of fit. I would recommend it for someone with shallow breasts or who doesn't have a lot of tissue on top, but who isn't particularly full on bottom. It's not that there's extra room down there - it's that there's not enough up top.
I got the bra in black and silver, and it is absolutely beautiful. Aesthetics aside, the gore digs. A lot on me. And the tops of the cups are not really filled out. It might be fixed by going down a band to a 28DD (and going down a cup volume in the process). The cups may also be too shallow for my shape
