What is going on with this bra?! The cups wrinkle at the top and the sides feel a little too wide - although maybe that's how they are supposed to fit there. I definitely do not fill the top, though. This is a 30E. Suggestions please? I love how this bra looks and wonder if it would possibly fit in another side (I have no clue what size to try next!).
Another nice rounded shape padded Curvy Kate bra. These tend to fit my narrow-set boobs decently. These straps barely are long enough for me. The cups are slightly too small, causing slight nontacking and discomfort from the underwire on the ribs. The 30 band is a tight one. For a 30E, I'd say this is slightly undersized in both band and cups by a half size. I'm tempting to keep it since it is really close to fitting and looks nice...but my search for perfection goes on.
Bought this bra and have only used it to try it on!!! I LOVED this bra but again it is way too small I feel like I can't breath in it! On top of that I get a quad boob after scooping and swooping. I feel like you should probably go a whole band size and 1-2 cup sizes up in this bra it gives you an awesome gorgeous round look I have never felt so confident about a bra before! I am deffinately looking to exchange it for a new 32F.
Ordered this bra along with a black one exactly the same style but for some reason this one is just too small the band is really tight and my breast looked smoshed in it. Very interesting since the black one fits perfectly! Might fit someone who usually wears around a 28DD or E? I am FOB narrow and a lot of soft tissue.
This bra was in an online sale in a 30E, and after reading posts about how Curvy Kate sometimes requires you to size up, I figured that I should give it a go and try a 30E rather than my usual starting size of a 30DD. The worst that could happen was that it didn't fit - which it really didn't. It was much too large for me, both in the band (I put it on the tightest hook and it still felt a bit slack) and in the cup (which was massive). What was also interesting is that the cup, despite being too large for me, looked ...as if it would cut across my breast if it were smaller, creating the quad boob effect - although this is purely speculation, as I didn't order any in different sizes. I suspect this is due to my breast shape, but I'm not entirely sure.
What I will say is that the material is quite thick, which I liked. It feels a bit like a bikini top when you take it out of the packaging, but I liked it compared to the other thin, sheer bras that I'd ordered (not something I had realised from the website's pictures!). It's still a soft cup bra, but the material was good quality, and had a nice pattern. Just a shame that my sizing was so off! Read more 123 more words
Not the right size for me in this brand, but the fit is passable and it is a nice bra for a "cute" bra. The shape under clothes is so-so. It isn't rounded or too pointy but there is more projection than in other bras and not as much lift.
This is probably the best fitting bra I own now. My problem with it is the shape. It gives me a bit of a downward 7 shape, unless I adjust just perfectly in which case I can get more of an upward 7 shape. My nipples show through the mesh, so it's not even the shape being manipulated into the upside down 7 for me(the actual shape appears more even to FoB), it's the seam of the bra. 0_0
If I push my tissue down and adjust more, instead of letting it fall into the cups, I can adjust the seams to be more of a perky shape. That's kind of ...annoying, and annoys me more than the fit of this bra (which is near perfect) makes me happy. Lol
As for fit, I'm not sure if this would work for wide roots, but I'm guessing it's aimed more towards average. The wires are still a little wide for me, but I have an unusual shape and would otherwise need really narrow wires. Overall, the wires are the best I've tried aside from a Gossard Phoebe 30E I just received, but the cup depth doesn't work for me in that, of course. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
Cup depth in this bra is just about perfect. I feel like I could use maybe like a centimeter or two more xD so no big deal. The band is tight enough, but not too tight. It feels stretchy. I feel like this one is maybe best for even shapes.
The gore has little separation, which works well for me.
Appearance wise, I have mixed feelings. The bra is both very dainty (silk-like material, bows) and unappealing to me. Not ugly, just not all the colors, frills and lace that I normally go for. I think my taste in bras is super extravagant though.
This seems like it'd at least be much more practical than what I normally go for, which is what I was aiming for. Fabric is also extremely silky feeling and comfortable.
My biggest complaint is that shape. This is my first CK, so I can't speak for them all, but I think this would work well for more perky people, even, or FoB. I'm slightly even/slightly FoT with my left side, and it doesn't look like I'm being supported, but again, I actually am, it's just that my shape puts the seam in a weird area unless I spend forever adjusting. I'm slightly tuberous, so I just lack that bottom fullness and it makes me sad because if the seam were different, this would be my new go-to.
I haven't worn it a full day yet, so I don't know if my adjusting will stay put or if it'll somehow go back to the unpleasant shape. I imagine it wouldn't, because if tissue were to move it shouldn't move upward unless I bent over and the cups and/or band were too big. I'll edit once I've worn it longer.
Edit: Wore it longer. This bra makes me remember how much I hate my boobs. I guess it didn't fulfill it's purpose https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":p" /> Just no way a good fit for even mildly tuberous people unless you're comfortable with showing your true shape. Most of what I own is to shape my boobs and make me look like I actually developed. This shows my actual shape and doesn't even make them appear lifted because of where the seam lies (which is probably partly due to being under developed). Blah. Why. :[ This bra literally depresses me.
Edit2: Looking back, this bra was way too wide for me, which likely resulted in some of that dreadful shape. At the time, 5.6" was the narrowest I'd had trying out my new size. Now I know I need 4.8-5.3".
Very very pretty bra.. I got this on Amazon during their sale. They didn't have any 28 bands in stock, so I decided to try this out. Unfortunately, it's not really like the Tempt me cut at all. The cups are much deeper (especially at the nipple area) and the cups I think will suit FoB people better. The top part presses me down (although it gives no quadboob) and then the nipple area is hollow. I would definitely call this bra a disaster for shallow and FoT boobs and it appears to be a mix of Desire and Daily Boost as far as the cut/shape/etc. Overall a disaster on me so I returned it.
This is the first Curvy Kate that fits me really well. I really love this bra! It is a gorgeous sheer black and lavender number. It gives very nice lift and support. A 28F may work for my 27 inch UB, but I often find 28 too tight (I am muscular with low rib cage body fat), so I generally stick with 30 bands. Finally a keeper from CK for me!
Workable, but not a great fit. The band is loose, so 28 would likely be better. Also, I have tall roots and the cups are too closed on top. Would be great tshirt bra for the right shape.
27.5-29 UB with 34.5 OB; firm ribcage so usually prefer band 30.
Pros: Underwires wide enough to cup all boob tissue
Cons: Strap placement too wide Wrinkling in top portion of bra Does not actually hide areolas Band is too tight
So from this we learn that I'm actually shallow-boobed? Or just not full-on-top? And also a band 32? It holds me in when I'm laying on my side though, so I might just save it and see what happens.
EDIT: band definitely too tight -- gore started hurting an hour or two into the wearing and underwires rubbing really hard against my rib cage.
Nice bra. I can make it work on the tightest hook but cups a tad big on top and straps a tad wide. 28E or F would likely work better; I have a 28E ordered so I will update then. Very comfortable and well made.
Well, the 28E band is TIGHT. I can make it work with an extender, so I will keep it. The cups and strap distance are good on this one, so this is a better size for me in this style overall.
I really love this bra! This is like my third or fourth one... however! My shape has changed enough that it doesn't work for me anymore https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> I have been gaining boobage and general weight so I figured a 30 band would be good since my 28F can get tight. Turns out I'm still a 28 in this bra (although some days I need one extra hook from an extender) and the cups are too small as well as too closed towards the center. I'm gaining some center fullness!! This bra is still tight for a 30 band bra though, so it would be great for a in-betweener or someone who doesn't need a band to be exactly a 28 band.
Was hopefully it would work but I was totally wrong!!!! Love the width of the wires and the cup depth but its to closed on top and my roots are to tall.
I think it fits nicely, not the best, but really really nicely enough. However, maybe due to the shape of my breasts, it gives me a slightly more conical kind of shape? (or maybe it's something I have to get used to with unpadded balconette bras)
The material is comfortable enough and the colour is pretty too.
In terms of support and fit, I would say it does a really good job, but it is really not something I prefer to wear under a tight top as the material is too thin to cover my nipples!
*Disclaimer* I tried this bra on at Debenhams, so I will not be able to provide measurements. My ideal size is 26FF, so the band is obviously too big and I cannot give an accurate say in how it runs, but it felt okay and if you look at my photos, you can see it only rides up a little bit from where the red mark from the bra I was wearing is. There is a chance 28F might have fit in the band on me.
I'm actually pleasantly surprised with this bra. I thought my boobs would be swimming in it since all the ...experiences I've had with unpadded Curvy Kates are just that and in the size 28E. There is still obviously a shape mismatch with me and this bra- I'm not able to fill out the nipple area, but the rest of it fits to the mould of my boobs.
I figured Curvy Kate would make all the new bras narrower and deeper, but this definitely suits shallow me much better than their unpadded cuts before. Perhaps in the future they will further refine it- but if you are not as shallow as I am, this would probably work for you. Read more 102 more words

This is probably one of Curvy Kate's better bras I've seen. The cups are a bit specific in the volume it needs to fill, I think. My smaller side is gaping a bit while the larger side fills it completely. The gore on this bra is really really tall...it goes past where my boobs are the closest and ends where my tissue starts to diverge. It does force my tissue apart a bit at the top though. I recommend this for someone who has medium/wide set breasts.
The cups seem pretty supportive, especially with the long underwires. They are narrow-medium/medium width.
Overall, very pretty bra, especially for the holidays!

I used to own this bra in 28F way back before they redid the cut of this bra here (http://www.bratabase.com/bra/dhrfg/). I can say that the wire is much narrower now than it used to be, but the shape is still sort of awful and pointy. On top of that, the bra now looks taller overall even though I have more tissue now than I did in the 28F. The gore is too wide for me and on this particular bra, you can see it sitting slightly oddly, trying to overlap itself in the center.
Still a terrible bra in this size range! I do not recommend purchasing it.
The look of that is very pretty! I think Curvy Kate bras are sooo pretty, but often the shape of them seems a bit odd.
I'm not 100% sure, but I would say to maybe try a size down in the cup and keep the same band size.
