"What would you tell a friend with similar boobs about this bra?" For full-on-top shallow boobs, it's hard to tell when this bra no longer fits until it's 2 or more cups too small. Since it is quite open on top, it doesn't cut into breast tissue in the traditional sense. Rather, it spills over the top when the cup is too small. I would recommend this to somebody who is between cup sizes.
Well, in this case, I actually think that this bra is a very good bra! The material is soft, the straps are nice and stretchy, and it's very beautiful (in Silver/Black). I like the straps a lot - having firm unstretchy straps are a pain.
What I really dislike about this bra is that it shows through clothing because the upper lace is so darn thick. Some people recommend removing the lace, but I would rather not compromise the aesthetics of the bra.
The only real problem with this bra is that it gives a very pointy shape and there is empty fabric it the tips of the cups.
I´m really not sure if the wires are wide enough, but I think they are adequate. I´m going to alter the cups because I like this bra´s appearance so much. The cut is not good for me, so another size would not be good, I think. And there are not really other sizes left, I think they´re not producing this model anymore.
One thing that I really wonder. The straps don´t stretch much at all! It was a real surprise.
EDIT1. I have to say that the band runs snug! I normally need 28, and this 30 is tight enough for me even after some use. The band is not very stretchy, same thing with the straps.
This bra seems to fit better over all than any of the others I've tried thus far. The band is comfortable and stays in place and wide enough to give adequate coverage without being matronly. The cups fit well and even though my right side is a bit smaller, it still fills out the cup well enough so there is no gapping along the top as I have found with other bras. The contour of the underwire is perfect for my shape, though it could stand to extend about half an inch higher under my arm. That said, it doesn't feel too short, it's ...just that, at just shy of 50, my skin seems to be detaching itself from my body in a way that it didn't even 10 years ago and it would look much better contained within the cup/wing area under my arm! Not a huge deal, just a minor detail. The bra itself is lovely and I like that it pushes the girls together and lifts them up where they ought to be without the use of padding. The first bra I ever ordered online. It isn't particularly supportive, since it's really little more than a thin veil-like material. In terms of the fit it really isn't great for me, but I feel this might be due to not truly knowing my bra size or the qualities of my breasts as they relate to fittings. I find the top halves are rather wrinkly and god forbid I should slouch, the underwire digs into my rib cage and the back feels tight. But again, this could be a commonality among bras that I haven't familiarized myself with yet.
The quality is pretty good especially considering the thinness of the material and I feel it will last a long time. Aesthetically it's beautiful. I own it in ivory/teal and the colours are sharp and rich, the pattern of lace is also classy, delicate and womanly.
Oh! And your nips will be completely visible through this, so it's not great for changing at the gym, haha.
The cups of the Entice bra runs very small comparing to the thrill me cups ! It is not exactly the same construction, the Entice is less open at the top. A 28F Trill Me fits me in the cups, but the sister size 30E in the Entice bra, a have a lot quardaboob ! I think in this bra I need 30FF (so 2 cups sizes bigger than in the Trill me) The lining in the cups is very confortable. The band is one the strechy side. This bra is really beautiful, it is a sort of "gothic" look. I am not a big fan of very feminine or girly bra, but I like this one a lot !
This bra is a little over-the-top with the decorative details, but it is gorgeous. Yay.
I got a 30 band, and weirdly when it is stretched it is pretty comparable, length wise, to a bra that was way too tight on me. Yet, this isn't too tight at all. I think I listed that it's just right because it feels fine, though I can yank it away from my back enough to fit a hand in the space there. Then again when I do that, the cups pull taught and it's horrifying. I don't think I could size down and have it be comfortable.
The cups seem to fit okay. ...I have at least a one cup difference between my left and right sides, so in general my right boob is eternally overwhelmed by the cup while the left is comfortably snug. In this particular bra, there is gapping on both sides (more significantly on the right side of course) but I can't entirely tell if it's because the cup size is too big or if the thick lace on the top is just making it appear larger than it is. Depending on how I move my body around, the left side can get slightly quad-booby, I have found.
I have what I consider to be extremely wide-set breasts, and the gore on this one is just about perfect! It lies completely flat and I don't have any random extra space in the cups near the middle like I do in most bras. Hooray.
Unfortunately, the gore is also the biggest problem for me. I wore this bra all day today, and the entire time the wires were jabbing my sternum. And I really mean, jabbing into my bone. It felt like my bra was bruising me (it didn't, from what I can tell) and all day I dreamed about taking it off. No other part of the bra felt too tight.
I am really confused about this, because I feel like the fit of this bra looks and feels ok otherwise. Am I missing something obvious? I think the cups are a little big on this (but not enough to size down, I think?) but other than that I really can't find any noticeable problems with the fit. Do the underwires come up too high? They come up the perfect height to fully enclose my breasts, but maybe that's wrong for this bra style? Or maybe it's my sternum that is the problem? The wires seem to be laying flat but I could be wrong. I really don't know, but this bra really hurts and I don't know if I can wear it again unless I figure out how to tweak the wires a little. Which is a shame, because a) it's beautiful, and b) I bought it on sale and probably can't return it.
I tried to put this in Fitting Help but Bratabase wouldn't let me since in most of the categories I noted that the bra fits fine.
The wires pressing into your ribcage is in general not about the bra being the wrong size or style, but because the ribcage not being flat but the bra wires are. Try to bend the tip of the wires outwards to match the curve of your ribcage better. That should relieve the pressure and make the bra a lot more comfortable.
I ordered the wrong size - dropped a band size as recommended for Curvy Kate bras, but forgot to go up the necessary cup size at the same time. I can't say much as for comfort, because a half cup bra that's too small is MISERABLE. However, looks-wise, it is gorgeous... A total knockout. It gives amazing lift and cleavage (we're talking barmaid status here) and is covered in the nicest satin. Seaming gives great shape, and the trim is adorable. The cup is very narrow (although that might be partially because it is a 30 instead of the 32 I'm used to. Underwire doesn't go up high enough on the side for me, and I found that it poked in the middle - this may simply be because of bad fit, though. I also have an unfortunate mole between my breasts that tall gores poke, making it extra uncomfortable.
Beautiful bra, but 30E cups feel too tight. The cups are not wide/deep enough. The band seems to be a slight bit bigger than other UK brands such as Lepel.
This bra is a bit too tight in the band. The cups are quite overflowing and a lot of "back fat" was created. I think it is at least two cups too small for me.
I tried the purple version of this bra, but unfortunately had to send it back. This is the strangest fitting Curvy Kate bra I've tried. I had some spillage, so the cups where obviously too small for me, but I'm not sure if a better fitting cup would have remedied the pointing east and west shape this gave me.
