I felt like I was falling out of this beauty. She sure was pretty and honestly I wanted her to fit, I even tried her multiple times with several shirts https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
bought this some time ago in my quest to figure out which size i took in the tease me, which is notorious for being really off in terms of fit. sadly, this one is a miss. the band is TIGHT! i can get it on, but *just*, and its painful. the gore is too high (expected) and the straps are sooo wide (again, expected). the cups are a bit too wide, which doesnt bother me but is probably contributing to the too wide straps. the cups gape juuust a little, mainly because the top edge of the cup sits away from the body to begin with. its hella cute, but i have to let it go https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
While I do like the design / look of this bra, the fit is not great.
A bit too east-west for me and the straps set are too far apart, which makes them chafe my armpits. The top of the cups slightly cut into my boobs, sometimes visible under clothing.
As I'm finding bras that fit me better, I find myself wearing this less.
I purchased this in a 30H because I own 2 of the 30H - Curvy Kate » Daily Boost (CK1801) bras. As a comparison, this bra is much bigger in the cups. Both wider and taller. Also, the band runs tighter. Overall, the cups were too big for me, so I will be returning it. I might try this in a 30GG, but I'm not in a hurry. The wires were so wide, I'm not sure that the 30GG would be a good match for me.
hi i have this bra too an di have it in 30hh i have the same issues and i try one sixe smaller 30H the wires didnt dig in and they are so wide try smaller size in the cup
Not crazy about this colorway. On the black and blush, there are just nice vertical seams in the cup. On this one, there is a bumpy lace that is kind of noticeable! The straps are stretchier than the black and blush too. They are almost just like the old Thrill Me's. As with all Curvy Kate's for me, the 30 band is too tight by itself and the 32 is too loose. So I wear an extender to get it halfway between.
I normally wear a 30GG in Freya, @Fanatasie and @Cleo, but the 30H fit in this @Curvy Kate bikini top is excellent! It gives a nice forward shape. Very "in your face" profile, not for anyone wanting a minimized profile. Great support...I can swim laps without the under wires poking or any ride up. I recommend!
Got two different sizes, this was the larger one and the cups are too big. I will be returning this to Amazon. It's a Curvy Kate, so it delivered as I expected, beautiful bra. This is my 5th try on Ritzy's. My first two were 30J's that fit during pregnancy, I then tried a 32H, thinking I needed to size up in the band and since my cup size had changed, to size down in the cups. Curvy Kate's 32 bands are too large, I start on the middle hooks. 30 bands work with an extender. All in all, the Ritzy is one of the best I've ever tried! It does fit differently than the new Tease though!
me and tease me, we just cant win! this one is brand new from Figleaves, because i couldnt pass up the whole set when it was on sale. since the tease me sizing runs super weird, i figured id try this because it was the last one left anywhere close to my size. unfortunately, the bra is a total disaster, womp wooomp https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> i feel like i will never find the sweet spot with this cut. this colorway is gorgeous, the almond color is a like a light creamy beige.
the band is super tight! it goes to 32 before the wires start ...looking strained, so im guessing youd be safe to order just one band size down in the new models, instead of 2 or more like the old models. im not sure if it would still break in a ton and end up loose, but i dont think im going to keep it long enough to try. as it is, i have to use and extender just to get it on.
the cups are too wide by a but, but the straps are impossibly wide on me. they almost dont stay up, its crazy! because they are so wide, they catch in my underarms, and shove the whole cup forward when i move my arm, making a giant gape. the depth seems okay, no quadboob, but if i bent the wires to be narrower i imagine i would get too much depth. the gore is too wide all the way to the base, but in this bra it doesnt feel too tall, unlike the 30HH.
the matching shorts fit well (tried on over another pair), so im waffling on keeping at least those. Read more 184 more words
This is a gorgeous bra, very sexy. Seems made for wider set boobs, the gore area curve of wire sat against my breast tissue. I think this bra is only just to big in the cup for me. The straps are like wearing a super tight gun holster. Hah. I'm glad I tried it out to get a better idea of what cup size I am. Will probably relist it. I wouldnt get a size down mainly because of how wide the straps are.
Beautiful bra, glad I went up 2 cup sizes after getting this in a 30G and realizing it was too small in the cups. The band is a bit loose for my 28.5 under bust, but still provides a supportive fit. There is a small amount of gaping at the top of the cups but that is because I intentionally bought it of space to grow into if necessary.
I don't know what I was thinking by going down to a 30 band, I am in between 32 and 34. I guess I just wanted the Romance Bra Really,Really badly. I have to wear 2 bra extenders to fit in this and the underwire is way too wide, the cups way too big. Overall a bad investment in my part https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Pretty though.
This bra looks lovely but the quality isn't as great as it could be. The band is very stretchy and I'd recommend going down a band size for this reason. When I received this bra, one of the middle hooks wasn't sewn in place properly, and it escaped the first time I washed the bra. The shape is also not ideal for me; it seems to be designed for full on top breasts and I'm full on bottom. Although the top edge of the cup sits smoothly along my boobs, the lace portion wrinkles a bit and I'll probably have to adjust it to sit better. However, since I bought it on sale I still consider it a worthwhile purchase. It's very comfortable and decently supportive, and the wire width is good for my wide boobs.
I bought this bra along with the 30H black and red version at the same time. This one fits a smidge better than the black and red one, although it is still about a cup size too big for me. I ended up ordering this same bra in 30GG and it pretty much fits me perfectly now. I really like this bra.
I have worn this one approximately 10 times, so there is some wear and tear to the bra, including some slight discoloration under the arm and a small amount of fraying on the end of one of the straps. But overall it is still in very good condition and it was only hand washed and air dried.
I have worn this bra only one time for about 10 hours. It is a very nice bra, but the cup size is about one size too big for me. I have this same bra in 30H in the plum/watermelon color and it fits better, but is still just a smidge too big, but not enough to sell, yet. The straps on this one are too wide and cut into my upper armpit which just makes it too uncomfortable to wear. I normally wear a 30GG, but decided to size up in the cup because I read the cups can run small in some Curvy Kate bras. I'm sure this would fit fine in my regular size.
This is very lovely and comfortable bra. Would definitely buy in more colours. Gives my breast a rounded look without making them look too big. Underwire sits very well
I have mixed feelings on this bra. It is such a weird shape for my breasts and it makes it hard to tell if it fits. the band is exactly how i want all my bras to fit; it's snug but not tight enough to leave red marks. Yay! I'm not too thrilled about the cups though. They make my boobs look squareish and bulge a teensy bit over the top of the cups; they kinda look like muffins. The appearance of the bra is so pretty! I love the colors and the mesh overlay. It's cute to wear under tank top because it gives me a very attractive cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
First the aesthetics: this bra is so simple but looks amazing. I wasn't really sold on the satin-y cups when I saw pictures of it, but in person it's very smooth and pleasing to the touch.
Construction: the band definitely is stretchy and in my opinion is definitely a band size larger than what's on the label. The cups are tall and shallow but I think the width was mostly okay for me (or I just didn't notice the wires much). The bottom of the cup is shallow. I usually wear 30G in Cleo unpadded bras, and I got this in 30H. I also ...have a CK Emily in 30GG that has the right cup volume, for reference. The cup volume in 30H right for me, I think, but my boobs don't seem to like halfcups in general because they're rather soft.
Fit: Gore didn't tack - probably a combination of shallow cups and loose band. I had no issues with cups or straps or wings poking/chafing, which is a plus. I usually have to deal with the cups cutting into my armpits in bras but this one was fine. Read more 86 more words
