I love this bikini, it's a halter and a plunge in a fun colorful print. The cups are actually narrow too. The band is on the smaller side of TTS, so I'm happy I went with a 32 band and not a 30. Full review on my blog.
Since trying Ellace and having good luck with that, I've been wanting to try some more Curvy Kate bras. I found the Florence for a good price and decided to give it a try. I am very pleased with the Florence, and the Blush color works very well as a "nude" for me.
It is amazing how well Florence works as a nude bra for you, especially under a cheap, thin, clingy T-shirt! It's also noteworthy you can easily fasten the band on the tightest hooks, but it doesn't ride up on the loosest hooks. To me, that is a highly desirable feature in a band. Thanks for the review!
I thought it was a great bra too. Keep in mind the other colors run a little smaller in the cup, black being the smallest. Glad it works for you!
When I thought the Blush might be a bit small I ordered a 32E in black, and it was too big. I will keep that in mind though for the other colors.
Could just be in my larger size too! Happy bra-ing!
I fell in love with this bra while browsing Amazon, and it was on sale in my size. The sale was a major factor in ordering since I hadn't had much luck with the last Curvy Kate bras I tried. I'm so happy that I decided to try the Ellace, it is an amazing fit for me. It gives a great round and lifted shape without being minimizing, and is very comfortable.
Looks fantastic!! This is my most comfortable and supportive bra: the elastic!!! I SO hope my size's price DROPS soon, too. So glad you like Ellace, and got a GREAT price! :-) :-)
Oh. I've had great results using red as a nude--crimson may work. I'm certainly willing to try :-)
I'd like to try Ellace, too. Great fit for you!
erispe I absolutely love this bra, and I'm picky about unlined. It's also the only non Polish bra that I am wearing on a regular basis
OK. I'm convinced. Let's see that pay-pal balance :)
I bought this as a gift for someone else, who isn't a bra enthusiast but just wanted something practical and versatile. This ticks the boxes for them, and feels super well made. The outer fabric is beyond smooth, with an inner sling in the cup to aid shaping and support. There's a silicone grip along the top and bottom of the underhand, along with fully adjustable, detachable shoulder straps (using swan hooks) so it can be work strapless, traditional over-the-shoulder, cross-back, halter, or even one-shoulder. The wings are bagged out with the same silky, smooth microfibre over a firm powermesh.
This is an unlined, lace/mesh, underwire bra. I usually look awful in a balconette (with my horizontal oval shape), but the seaming on this one makes it ok. However, the wing height was too short (too much underarm spillage).
About me: petite with wide horizontal oval, slightly conical breasts * average projection * wide-set (3 fingers width of space between breasts) * very wide roots (extend past the mid-axillary line) * short roots * even horizontal fullness (just barely outer full) * mix of firm & soft tissue (front molds to shape of bra, sides push wimpy wires away) * conical shape (but will squish to round) * full on top (2/4 shape, not even or very full) - BUT functionally even to FOB due to short roots and soft tissue * petite (5'3") so have narrow frame
It seems that cups are too wide and wires are too short. Cup too short for bigger boob on the side and it pops out- also top edge digs in. I'm finding the wide/short to be a theme w/ CK bras for me, unfortunately. Same with the ellace (see my review) and the enchanted plunge balconette.
Darn. CK is famous for shorter rooted breast designs. Sorry they aren't working for you.
This appears to sit in your IMF better than any of your other fit checks, though. Maybe try this in a 32E. Did you try Ellace in a 32E as well? I was thinking when I looked at your Skye fit check that Cleo isn't going to work for you and you actually need something with shorter wires. This one just looks too small more than anything.
Agree that this bra just looks too small for you. And you may find that the curvy Kate bra bands are really loose, stretchy, and physically longer than other bra brands. I agree with going for the 32E. But how does the band feel? Can you easily stretch it several inches away from your body? Does it move around when stretching your arms upwards and moving around? You may find a 30F may be ideal for you with curvy Kate. The bra looks like it's going to be a great fit when you jail down the size.
LeProfessorlcl0706 : So I posted 5 new pics after shoving bra into IMF and swoop/scooping
THe longer I wear it, the more comfortable it feels compared to the cleo bras, lol..
THe band does not feel too stretchy/loose. It actually feels great compared to cleo. I think 30 would be too uncomfortable - I have tried one or 2 CK bras in 30 and they felt too tight.
I agree that it is too small on my L breast, but I feel like it just fits/has a bit of extra fabric in the R -- worried 32E will be too big in the R boob.
Should I just keep this size if I end up finding it comfortable enough, or is the size way too out of whack?
I’d go for the 32E in both this and the Ellace. The Ellace will be more forgiving for asymmetry. I think once the size is better it’ll feel less constricting. You want to fit your larger boob. If there’s a little wrinkling on the smaller side it’ll be negligible.
IMO, the ellace bra is perfect as is. But sizing up in this Florence bra maybe better for you as you prefer a fuller coverage. I think it looks great on you now that it is placed well. Some women prefer their bras the be on the slightly larger side for best fit and comfort while other prefer them to be on the slightly smaller side for best fit and comfort (I prefer smaller). Try both and pick what's best for you. As long as there is no wires sitting on breast tissue, pain, or your obviously falling out or are really uncomfortable than your good to go and pick what works best for you!
I bring up going down to a 30 band in curvy Kate because it looks like you have some vertical stretching in the cups and straps going on which can either mean that you have the straps tightened too tight or the straps are supporting more of your bust than they should be because the band is too loose. I get these vertical stretches in my 30 band bras all the time because 30 bands are too big for me, I need a 28 band. Just remember if you do go down in band size you have to go up in cup size to keep the same cup volume. It always makes me so happy to help someone on their bra journey! You asked for some further recommendations and I would recommend Fantasie to try out because they are REALLY comfortable and full coverage. I'm not quite sure how they work with short roots, but you never really know till you try! I have heard a lot about Wacoal being very comfortable and they have a lot of fuller coverage options. Mimi Holliday also makes some really gorgeous comfortable bras. Although I would warn you to stay away from their plunge varieties as they're SUPER low coverage. Their comfort and shoulder bras I think you will like!
I think the cups are too wide and too short. Wire is encroaching on the side of bigger boob; extra fabric in smaller cup. Doesn't fit well. Fairly comfortable, nice looking bra.
I think we are boob twins. Or at least very close to that! While Ellace does fit on top, the sides are just weird - too short and wide wires. I do also experience with lots of bras digging in at the top due to long roots. It looks like youre even/FOB? Im FOB/Even + tall roots, and not many soft bras except Ewa Michalak, Comexim and HCQ/H/HCT Avocado fit me. However, I love the ellace despite is not great fit, but this bra is very comfortable - I own 3 of them and just learned to live with the issues :D Re your Cleo Skye. While it looks good on you, sizing up or down won't solve problems. I found that SKYE is the most comfortable soft cleo but in Aqua version, the purple is less comfortable even if I have both in same size. Ive own SKYE in 30E and 32DD, and no difference when wearing - wires are eqaully showing that they exist. I think is just cleo, how its made. I used to be able wear marcies but not anymore, they re too much pain for me. If you want painless Cleo, try Mimi - its really great, but wires might be on little too wide side.
Black lace looks gorgeous on you....as does periwinkle blue Andorra :-)

I think Ellace can be a difficult fit. From what I understand, it works great for center fullness (which isn't me!). I have trouble with the stretch lace. But like martka00, I find it very comfortable despite the flaws. But it sounds like this one isn't a winner for you - even though it looks nice. :)
I think this looks like your best fit yet. Just my opinion. These cups are definitely not too wide. If anything, based on the last pic, they're borderline too narrow.
I agree with lcl0706 , again, lol. I just wanted to add that these wires are the same width as your Cleo Skye where you do not mention the wires being too wide. Definitely your best fit yet.
This one was the cutest one from the batch CK that Ive received today. While I looked at it, I was almost sure that it will fit me. What a big disappointment when I put it on. The band feels okay on the middle set of hooks, the wings are too short for me - i prefer to have around 9-10cm. The width of wires is good, and the depth of cups seems okay however my boobs are not reaching the deepest part of cup! its like rounded triangle on me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_surprised.gif" alt=":O" /> Straps in CK seems to be good placement on my narrow frame - feels as good as my Comexims with moved in straps *_* Otherwise, the bra is really beautiful and well made!
The band is a bit too big, I think I only decided to try the 32DD instead of 30E because it was on sale. However this bra seems to be a bit big in the cups too, not sure if sizing down would help or if this bra just isn't a great fit for me.

Had a few of these to tide me over till something closer in shape showed up. Need the data now for site comparisons.
Hate them so much (fabric, straps, loose bands, pokey gores etc etc) but they do have some immediate projection so there is actually room in the cup for a breast at all, instead of the usual tittysmashers that are everywhere. Every modification imaginable has been done on these.
Don't buy this unless you enjoy finding your entire breast has crawled up out of the top, and gets caught like a sad cat in curtain.
I hate this thing! It looks pretty on the website. But it isn't actually designed for people. It has this weird square shape that ensures it won't look right on anyone. It is sort of itchy. And it is the least flattering bra I have ever seen.
This is way too small, meaning both the band size and the cup size. It is uncomfortable but that could be the size. And the structure is just kind of weird.
The gore floats and I get a bit of quad boob. Sizing up may alleviate this, but the straps already cut in at the arm/chest/where the pectoral muscle goes up into my arm, and I worry that would be even worse at a larger size.
