My shape: FOB, projected, narrow roots and shoulders, soft tissue
I was surprised at how well this fit me in the straps and wires, as Curvy Kate tends to be wide and unwearable for me. (I threw two 32G CK bikinis in my mom's Prime Wardrobe order, since we are still narrowing down what bras she likes.) The band is tight, and the cups a tad small, though. would suggest ordering a cup size larger if you are in between sizes; the cups are padded, which makes my particular breasts quad out. The bikini itself is super cute. It's a bright pink with teal blue diamond designs; very beachy. The fabric is ruched on the cups, which are 3-part construction. If I could find this same bikini in a 32GG for the right price, I would try it out!
This is a such a pretty bra! Th design on the fabric of the cups as well as the lace are so beautiful, and the color is so vibrant. It's also very comfortable material, and the 3 part cup is the perfect amount of support. Unfortunately it's just not the right size/shape for me, it gapes at the top, so would probably be better suited to someone fuller on top.
Missing data in Bratabase prompted this purchase. Whoa. Look at these measurements!
Another exceptionally deep (13"), narrow (5.8") Curvy Kate. After a few of these plunges, I can conclude they just don't fit me. But, you narrow-breasted users may love this bra's characteristics.
The wings are a blissful 3.8" tall...may be too short for some of us. The band stretches to 32" before significantly distorting the wires. Straps are extremely supportive, .8" wide, and luminous. The mesh band and cups are a deep purple--gorgeous. Finally, the bra is lightweight and breathable.
Personally, the apex projection is three inches more than I need, and the cup is 1/2" too narrow. Curvy Kate plunges just aren't a good fit for my wide, short, center-full breasts.
If you need a deep cup with exceptional apex projection, this may be your bra.
I really wanted to like this and I feel a bit "meh." It's well constructed and that's about all I can say positive about it. It's a serviceable bra - nothing pretty or flashy here. I needed a nude colored one so I shouldn't fuss about the lack of frills. I'm very FoB and I get a lot of gaping on my smaller side. Tightening the strap helped some but not enough. I was hoping for something that would look good under thin, light colored shirts. Because of the seams, this does not fit the bill. It also gives me a very weird shape under clothes - as if I'm trying to launch torpedoes skyward.
It would have been completely the wrong shape for me, but the built-in racerback clip makes it almost work. It does rather exaggerate my assets, though.
The 30GG provided better lift, but there was not enough band length to narrow and overlap the gore. The 32G should alter nicely and be a comfortable bra during our blazingly hot summers.
This color is one of my favorites--deep, saturated aqua. Gorgeous!
Wide straps, 3x3 fasterners, wide band: Curvy Kate knows what I like.
Something in this bra pattern changes at 30GG/32G. Florence has excellent immediate projection in the 30FF/30G range. But, the 30GG and 32G feel more shallow than the smaller sizes. Also, the center projection is more shallow, too. Sadly, I can't recommend Florence in this size for immediately projected breasts. Perhaps I'll change my mind after narrowing and overlapping the gore..... Every time I try to wear a wired bra for a few minutes, the bruising, pain, heat, and swelling returns. Sigh. This is going back to the vendor.
Fit is great. My daily go-to bra. Color is boring. After ~2.5 years of rotational wear (with 4 others of the same model) and machine washing every other week (yeah, I should know better), the wires have begun to poke up in the sternum and hurt. It was a good run. Looking to fix the wire issue and keep wearing it till it stretches out!
Cute sweetheart-type cut. I was not expecting to like the colors, (electric blue and lime green) but I put it on, and loved it! I usually take a 30 band in Curvy Kate, but I found this one on Amazon, and decided to try it. It's slightly loose, but I think it will do. The cups are a tad small on me yet, but I'm hoping with losing weight, they will fit next summer! Really cute!!!
An insane purchase on my part. A 32G? What was I thinking?! I was thinking about the colour. That's what I was thinking. The red is so beautiful I just had to have it.
Actually the band fits really nicely; I like the snugness. But the cups are HILARIOUS. I may add pictures just so you all can laugh with me at the absurdity of me thinking this might work. For reference, I just received a 34GG Cleo Lily that I think may actually fit.
This bra is very comfortable but probably ill fitting for me. I have owned it now for about 6 months and wear it semi-regularly. The band seems to be too lose and rides up in the back, and the gore leans towards my larger breast. One of them is too large and creates a bit of quadboobs, the other is too lose, and creates a small gape.
The under wires are very comfortable, the color is gorgeous and I really like the lace and sparkly charm detailing in the center. One thing I do like is that the quadboob effect is someone lessened by the fact that the lace ...is forgivingly pointed outwards, away from the breast, which helps minimalize the look to me. If I had more even breasts, and judged it from the largest one, I would have gone up a cup size and down a band size perhaps, but as mine are uneven, this is the closest I can get to a happy middle.
In the future I am going to look for ewa-michalak bras for their removable inserts for uneven busts as soon as I can figure out what size to order. Read more 87 more words
Probably one of the most flattering bras I have ever worn. Everything about this bra - the color, the shape, the coverage - is wonderful. It fits my mostly even shape extremely well and lifts without causing discomfort. The ribboning across the cup top does not contribute to quadboob like the Portia, and gives a more rounded shape under clothes. The wires are wide - no doubt. But, if you have wide roots this bra is a godsend. Also works really well if you have broad shoulders (6'0" me).
Something that I did notice, however, is that the straps don't seem to adjust very far. If you have breasts that sit low, this might not be a good fit. I adjusted the straps to an inch above the lowest possible setting before my shoulders felt completely comfortable.
First plunge style to actually work! Gave me great cleavage without feeling like I was going to spill out the middle. However, the 32 band was too large, as I immediately put it on the middle hooks. The 30GG worked perfect though!
Me: avg projection, even fullness, wide-set, wide-rooted
WOW I love this bra! I have average projection, so I thought this bra wouldn't work, but it totally does. I love the shape this bra gives me. It actually lifts up my bust. And I really like the modest hint of cleavage this bra gives. Plus, the soft padding of the cups is soooo comfortable.
The detailing is also wonderful, which is what I love most about Curvy Kate bras. It's all so intricate and beautiful.
These cups are a bit too big for me and a bit too wide set. They pucker if I squeeze my arms together. Also, my boobs fall out in the middle as the day goes on.

This is for the black and pink color way. This is my first long line bra and I mist say I am not a fan of 6 hooks. The band in the front wrinkles because I have a bit of a tummy.
This bra is nice and open on the top for my FOT boobs. It is not to tall for my short roots, which is nice. My center fullness is not a problem in this bra since the gore comes up high enough. The straps aren't too wide either. This bra gives a lovely round uplifted shape, which is hard for my shape!
With the open top however, ...my very soft breasts have a little more jiggle than I would like, and the embroidery on the cup shows through shirts so this is definitely a bedroom bra.
I also ordered this in 34FF because the band was tight and because of that the underwires were digging in my sideboob, so when that comes in I will review it in that size. I may keep this and use an extender if that other size doesn't work. Read more 77 more words
I can't really give an accurate review of this bra, as it was way too small for me when I tried it on. My boyfriend bought me the Romance in a 32G and a 32GG, way back when I had first been measured correctly. I'm more of a 32H/HH now, but I can vouch for the Romance in the correct size - it gives a rounded shape, a little low but still nice. I also don't get any pointiness happening after a day of wear, unlike with some of my other unpadded Curvy Kate bras (the Dreamcatcher, for instance, does this on me). It feels the most open on top of any of the unpadded CK styles I've tried, and I feel like it'd be most suitable for someone with even fullness. The black and gold colourway is beautiful. In my experience the Romance runs true to size.
I keep this bra on period-reserve when I'm PMSing and my breasts swell up a cup size. It fits fairly well then, but I definitely do not fill it completely when my hormone levels ease back to normal. Anywho, it does a good job keeping all the breast tissue in because the wires are incredibly wide. Though, if I don't do a thorough enough job scooping and swooping, the wires poke my axillary region.
This bra gives me absolutely zero cleavage, which I guess is good under certain circumstances. I do prefer a bra to give me at least a little oomf, so I was a bit disappointed ...that a Curvy Kate bra couldn't do that (even at the peak of breast-swelling). All other signs point to the bra fitting well, so I've concluded that it's a great bra for wearing under professional button-up shirts and suits.
**Updated Review**-01/07/2015 While I don't usually go for unlined bras, I do have to admit that one of the benefits of wearing them is that they can still fit even after shape change or breast growth. This is what happened with me and the Romance. Basically my boobs grew and are now my old PMS size normally while my now-PMS size is closer to a 32GG in Curvy Kate sizing. Yet the bra still fits with no quadboob. The underwire is just a little closer to the forefront than it was.
Only problem now is that I accidentally broke off one of the hooks on the loosest column because I suck at undoing 3-hook bras. So the band is on the tighter, more uncomfortable side of fit, which is poopie.
@Eden is really comfortable, and the width of the strap placement is shoulder heaven! It actually sits wide enough so that the straps aren't digging into tissue. The cups are a little tighter than expected, so I recommend going up a cup if your usual cup size is snug, so you aren't popping out and so the center sits against your chest. Time will tell its durability, I'll update in a few weeks to comment on if the wires pop out or it stretches without reasonable wear. Despite being iffy about whether the bright appearance would be tacky or not, it is really cute. The colors are a bit darker than in the model photos, but it retains the adorableness. The double ribbons are darling.
well, the other thign is, compared to the lily, the princess would have wider, shallower cups so totally different shape
