This bra is great for me, although a few minor things are tricky. I feel like if I were slightly fuller on top it would fill out a bit more, though I think this is the right size for me in this cut. The cups aren't as projected as I'd normally like (the Cleo Lilly bra used to fit me really well), but it's not so far off that I feel like it doesn't fit my breasts. The straps are a tad wide for my taste, and the straps are a bit on the thin and stretchy side. That said, I think this bra is pretty comfortable--the strap is firm enough without digging, comfortably tall. It's BEAUTIFUL, I love the way it looks, and none of the things I've mentioned would be noticeable to anyone but the most analytical lookers-on. I love the detailing, really pronounced visually and yet lays fairly flat under thinner knits. This is my first experience of this style, and I'd buy another.

See my review for the 70E Triumf. Same issues plus a too-tight band. Sm cut is apparently not for me.

This is way too small on me, borderline an E cup. Unfortunately, I removed the tags and washed it prior to trying it on.

The band is quite tight, which I anticipated. While the wires are nice and narrow and the overlapping/short gore is great for center fullness, the outer curve of the wire isn't the right shape for me. The shape mismatch plus too small band mean that I'll be passing this on to someone else. It's a beautiful bra, though!

    • I've seen in a post that ewa usually has a splayed shape. The gore bottom is relative wide than other brands.

    • That could also explain why it just wasn't right on me. Speaking of splay, today I overlapped the gore and put a dart the fabric in one of my bras after rage taking it off mid-day. It's so much comfier now.

    • Bootyfoots
According to your reviews about Cleo Marcie and Gaia Sandy Semi Soft, I think the new Cleo Jorja can also be a good fit to you. The gore bottom of Jorja seems even narrower than Marcie, and the shape of the cups is similar to the Gaia Sandy. If you like the style and also have shops with good return policy, then it will be worth to try.

    • Thank you for the heads up! I hadn't seen it. I'll hopefully be able to try it via Amazon once this all calms down.

    This bra is lovely.
The black on pink is very cute and attractive. I hate the rhinestones on it and I wish the upper straps were removable.
The wires, band, and straps all fit well. I'm not sure if I liked the actual shoulder straps on this bra. I had a hard time getting them adjusted so that they fit well while also not being floppy on the lower part. They're thick and sturdy so it's more of an aesthetic issue rather than a comfort one.

For some reason this bra made my breasts look pointy, especially the right side. It's really odd. I have, and have had, a lot of SMs and the only one that gave me a strange pointy look was the Tattoo. I've never had a mesh SM do it and it's a bit of a bummer.
It's unfortunate, because I really do think it's cute, but I have so many other bras that I doubt I'd wear this one because of the shape so I sent it back.

This bra is way too tight for me, I couldn't even keep it on long enough to give it a fair review.
I'm not exactly shocked since I had this bra before in a 70F and that was also quite tight.

It's a gorgeous color, and the lace is very nice and sturdy. This bra is old and has held up remarkably well.

This bra is in fantastic condition for being used. It's also much more beautiful in person than in any of the pictures. I normally avoid "boring" nudes (reds and yellows usually show up less under shirts anyway), but I wouldn't count the Satine as boring at all. It looks delicate and pretty while also being sturdy.

As far as the fit goes, it's too small for me at this point in my pregnancy. The cups and band are both too small for my current UK size of 30FF. I might be able to get away with it for a while with an extender and a shirt loose and thick enough to hide quadding. Even if not, I know I'll be this size again after the pregnancy. I look forward to actually trying my first 3d and will update the review when I do.

  10. Bm Mojito (820)

Seems to run a bit large in the cups. Band runs a little tight like most EMs.

This is my first time trying the Bm cut, or any unlined EM. It was too big when I first got it, but being pregnant I soon grew into it. The top section of lace is stretchy and should be forgiving as my breasts continue to grow, but I will probably need an extender soon - I'm down to the loosest of the four sets of hooks.

The wires are wonderfully narrow and conform almost perfectly to my root.

I love this color! I can't resist brightly colored lace like this. The white bows are a nice touch.

The only downside I can see is that it seems very delicate. It looks like it would be really easy to accidentally rip or pull the lace, and it looks a bit "fuzzy" close up already. It was used when I got it, though.

The M cut is one of the only plunges that fits my short roots and immediate projection decently. Usually plunges are way too tall for me and gape at the top. It also gives nice cleavage, which usually doesn't happen with how far apart my breasts are spaced.

As others have said, this is a beautiful color combination. Some have called it a mermaid bra, even my husband who doesn't read any bra websites. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />

    Didn't fit

The Ewa Michalak 65F Ch Cherry looks great but is far from perfect for me. It's not just that the band, supposedly a 30 band, only stretches to 28.5" inches. An extender would fix that. Also a problem is the CH's center gore. At 2.5" it's short for a half cup bra's gore, but 1.5" is as high a gore I can comfortably wear. I've been slowly selling off my bras with gores higher than 1.75" or so. I of course knew the Ch Cherry gore would be too high for comfort when I ordered it, but...so pretty...

The colors, lace, and decorative straps are feminine and flirty. I ... get cakes on a plate cleavage, as expected from a half cup bra. The decorative straps accentuate the mounding flesh above the cups. I have no complaints about the looks. What everyone says about the notable projection of Ewa's Ch cups certainly plays out here. The more forward facing my boobs are, the thinner I look from the front. I'm glad to look thinner on top. Inverted triangle body types like mine look more balanced that way.

If I wore this with an extender, the band would be a reasonable length, and the gore wouldn't press so hard into my sternum. I'm usually too lazy to add an extender to my morning routine. I find it annoying that I have to add an extender to a 65 band, which should be equivalent to a 30 band.

The big draw of Ch Cherry, the main reason I might keep it, is the matching briefs. If I wear the Ch Cherry, I could wear the matching, high waisted panties. When I wear matching panties, I feel like I accomplished something. These panties look great, both in front and back. It's not easy to find a high waisted panty that's as flattering in the back as it is in front, at least on me. It is in fact very, very difficult to find flattering high waisted panties, and I loooove high waisted panties.

While I ordered the 65F Ch Cherry direct from Ewa Michalak, I had tried on two sister sizes at Revelation in Fit's Oakland store. The 70E (UK 32E) and 75DD (UK 34DD) both looked great. The boobs looked exactly as they're supposed to in half cups in both sizes. I much prefer the bands on either of those than on this 65 band. I should've just bought the 70E if I were determined to have this bra. But no, I had to second guess myself and order the 65F from Poland. It costs $20 to ship a bra back to Poland. By the time I figured all this out, Revelation in Fit had sold out in 70E and 75DD. They didn't have the 65F when I visited. Argh.

I don't know what I'm going to do with this bra.

Almost all center gores, even those of “plunge” bras, are too high and/or wide. Why would I order a half cup bra from Ewa Michalak? Well, who doesn't want a sheer, sexy, black lace something that gives cakes on a plate roundedness? I thought I would remove the wires and have a comfy wireless bra. I did this recently to a sheer Passionata half cup bra I bought for about $12. However, yesterday I tried it on under a sweater and discovered the center gore area tilts forward enough, since the wires aren't there to press it against my chest, to show through a clingy sweater. The half ... cup seaming doesn't show, but the center gore area does. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

I've been wanting a sexy, sheer, black lace bra for a while. Most of my bras are Ewa Michalak 3D or PL models, which are lightly lined. I have a couple other bras from Wellfitting (Comexim), Empreinte, and Agent Provocateur. Agent Provocateur is the only one whose center gores are usually low enough for me. However, my new Wellfitting Extra Deep Plunge in Jade has soft wires and the wire channels go up a bit higher under the arms than most bras' wire channels do. I'm able to push the wires out of the gore area and achieve sternum comfort.

The sadness I have with all my Ewa Michalak bras, even the 3Ds and PLs I own so many of, is their plunge gores are still too high and wide. Their wings are low under the arms, so I can't push the wires out of the center gore area very much. Ewa wires are also quite firm, compared to Wellfitting/Comexim and Agent Provocateur's. I nevertheless wear my Ewa bras a lot. The shape is front and center. The profile is quite lifted, with a very subtle peak. Until Wellfitting recently came out with their Extra Deep Plunge cut, I thought I was stuck with my Ewa Michalak 3Ds and PLs if I wanted a lightly lined bra in this price range. Empreinte and Agent Provocateur are usually at least double the price of Ewa Michalak and Comexim.

The shape I get from Ewa Michalak's HM Sekret Wiktorii is classic cakes on a plate. The look is as sexy as I expected. Unfortunately the band is absurdly tight for a 30 band. This makes the high gore instantly uncomfortable. The high center gore that comes with all half cup cuts is even more uncomfortable than it had to be because of the overly tight band. It’s annoying how inconsistent Ewa bands are. Since I had to scuttle my plans to remove the wires and wear it as a wireless bra, I'm once more saddened by an Ewa bra.

This Ewa Michalak 3D, my second Szykuś, is a true 30 band, for which I am grateful. I have a lot of Ewa Michalak 3D bras. They mostly work well for me. Sometimes the bands are outrageously tight. About half of my 3Ds came far too tight for a 30 band. This kind of inconsistency is appalling.

The center gore of almost every plunge bra of every brand is too wide and too high. Unfortunately this is true of Ewa Michalak's 3D and PL bras. I put up with it because the shape is fabulous. The bras push my breasts front and center. From the side there's a ... lot of lift with only the slightest suggestion of a point at the apex. I look thinner viewed from the front because the chest area looks narrower. The cups in 3D and PL are low coverage, compared to most UK plunge bras. I'm full on top, but overall I'm quite petite. I fill out bras for full on top shapes, but I wish the cups were lower coverage. For example, I get great shape from half cup bras of every brand I've tried - Ewa Michalak, Panache, Freya, Fauve. However, my nipples, which neither point up or down but are centered, are rarely close to the upper edge of the cup. Half cup bras are supposed to be low coverage. On me they cover as much as balconettes. The exception to this is Agent Provocateur bras, which have their own issues.

  17. 3d Karmelki (539)

The most important thing for you to know about the 65F Ewa Michalak 3D Karmelki (539), if you're fond of the 3D cut, is that this one fits like almost all the other 65F (UK 30F) 3Ds I've tried. My successes:
    3D Szafirek
    3D Pieprzyk
    3D Trapez
    3D Szykus
    3D Satine

My one failed 3D was the Bambino*, which had much higher coverage cups and lower wings than the other 3Ds I tried.

The band on this one stretches, when I pull hard, to 30." I like this. The Satine and Szykus bands required several outings with an extender to resemble a proper 30" band. They are still tighter than the Karmelki is brand new. ... The 3D Karmelki band firmly hugs me but doesn't punish my skin. At least, it does when I try it on. I haven't worn it yet.

The Karmelki color resembles Ewa Michalak Strapless Toffi's butterscotch color. Its value is darker than the Satine's. Karmelki is darker than my skin rather than a good match, but it'll be invisible under light clothing. I believe the detailing on the cups--seams, ribbon, and dot-accented diamond embroidered/woven fabric, won't show much either.

The seams of the Karmelki are sewn in a way that is less likely to show under clothing than, say, the seams of the Satine. Where the Karmelki's vertical seams meet, the two pieces of fabric butt up next to each other. The Satine's vertical seams have a noticeable ridge. One piece of fabric is higher than the other, like a tectonic plate that is subsuming the other. This ridge, I've noticed, shows up under some of my clothes. And, since I work full-time, I don't wear a lot of thin, clingy clothes. That means that vertical ridge is pretty pronounced for a bra seam. It's annoying, since I really like the Satine's color.

    Edited to add:
The finishing of the 3D Karmelki and a few other recent Ewa Michalak purchases is rough where hooks meet eyes. I have to wear a cotton pad underneath the area. It's like they forgot to put a couple layers of fabric, where there is supposed to be cushioning beneath the hardware. This is irritating, literally and figuratively.

    * I believe Ewa Michalak accidentally sent me an S Bambino instead of the 3D Bambino I ordered. This occurred to me only after I was sent an S instead of an M in another Ewa bra. Since I passed along the Bambino soon after I received it, I can't do the comparison.

    Didn't fit

This is another Ewa Michalak bra that has an annoyingly tight band. It is under 28" stretched, without distorting the cups. I wish this company's 65 bands would be consistently tight, consistently true to size, like my preferred 30" stretched, or consistently anything. I could wear an extender, but I shouldn't have to. I have enough bras I can wear without an extender that I don't reach for overly tight bras like the M Syrena.

Other problems with this bra stem from the cut itself. The M cut was marketed as bringing the breasts even more front and center than her 3D or PL bras. I suppose this is ... true for me. However, the fit is otherwise subpar. I altered the straps to be closer together in front. They still don't feel as comfortable as those of my dozen or so 3Ds or my two PLs. If I look at the back view, the straps veer outward, toward the sides of my body, rather than going straight down or drawing closer together where the hooks and eyes are. If I wore an extender with the M Syrena, this would make the straps widen even more in back.

Another feature I dislike in the M cut is the low wings. I want higher wings in Ewa Michalak bras, not lower. I would be happy if all my 3Ds had an inch or two extra height in the wings. I think my PLs are a little better for me in this regard.

I do admire the M Syrena's looks. The blue and green coloring evokes mermaids and peacocks. The gore is just about short enough for me. The cups are, as promised, low-coverage. I welcome these features. They do not, however, outweigh the discomfort and suboptimal appearance caused by the M cut's differences from 3D and PL. I would've returned this bra, but it costs $20 US to ship a bra back to Poland.
