The gore is really narrow and I love that. I wish the straps were a bit thicker. The band is tight even for EM. I bought the bra was all black but under the lace there's beige mesh. I'm not really a fan of the beige but other than that it's a great bra!
I love this bra; the lace is beautiful, it gives me fantastic uplift and shape without any padding. But the band is a bit too snug for me, and the wires dig into my sternum. I think I'm definitely a 75 in Ewa's bands.
This style seems to run big (or at least extremely open on top). My typical Ewa size 70DD (sister size to the UK 30E I'm usually wearing) was about one cup size too big in the cups and very gap-y. So I went for a 70D.
I also noticed that the seams are prominent and stick out under clothing. I hope this will decrease after a few washes and some wear.
The band runs true to size (my tight underbust is 69 cm or 27.2 inch) and the 70 band fits me just perfectly. It's not as tight as some other Ewas though, but it's very comfortable that way and decently supportive.
Another almost-perfect. The band is the perfect fit. The cup depth is perfect. The straps are slightly too far apart, and the cups are slightly too wide.
The Toffik is a caramel colored "nude" plunge bra.
It has wide wires and cups that are very open on top - so it's a great fit on wide root shallow boobs. The cups are cotton lined, making the bra comfortable to wear.
The band fits like a UK 30 band, stretching to 30" maximum.
The materials used are smooth on the outside and go surprisingly well under tight clothing without showing through. The Toffik is perfectly suited as a T-shirt-bra.
Sadly, a 70D is a little too small for me (I'm a 30DD/E depending on the style). A 70DD would be a better choice in my case.
It's a very cute bra, but not my favorite EM shape-wise or comfort-wise. I have a full on bottom shape, and while it doesn't gap or wrinkle at the top, it would also be very forgiving and more flattering on fuller on top boobs. The fabric is stable but I can definitely see why Ewa doesn't want to make the HM cut bigger than a G cup. The wires are the same width as my CHP Marcepan in 70DD. In EM, usually I need the volume of a 70D but the wire width of a 70DD, so this worked out great for me. I would definitely consider ordering this one in a cup size down from your usual EM size. The gore is not super comfy at the top, but I am extra-sensitive to pokey gores, and it is quite narrow for its height. The band is pretty true to size for EM. Overall, I like the bra and I will probably keep it, but it's not the first one I reach for.
I love this bra!! The wires are wider than I need but the bra is firm enough to behave itself and not wrinkle or anything. The pads are also great, it fits nicely without them in but having them just gives a pleasant extra boost to my chest. Very similar in fit to the 3D Ivette I have in the same size. The center gore did dig in for the first week at the top, not sure why, but it doesn't bother me anymore.
My breasts: I fit a 30E in Freya, 30F in most other bras, and I've been consistently a 70DD in Ewa's bras. I have quite a bit of immediate projection, which makes finding bras where the wires don't get pushed down out of my inframammary fold hard to find. My breasts are close set, with a little bit less than a pinky's width between them, with a tall, very narrow root.
So, I just grabbed this bra off of bratabase just to see if the wires in a 70D would be any smaller than in the 70DD. Interestingly, they are the same size wires when compared to a 3D ...in 70DD, but smaller than a 70E. I'm looking for narrower wires, and just haven't time/ovaries/fortitude/money to go and order from Comexim. I knew when I bought this bra that it would be too small in the cups. I have to say, it was so comfy, I almost don't want to post it for sale. Who cares if I have quad boob around the house ... note: this bra seems to have a striking resemblance construction wise and material wise to the 3D Porcelanka (which I have, but don't have on bratabase, sorry!) which I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Pros: *Very pretty pink/coral/salmony color. I'm not really down with pink, but I kinda like it anyway. And polka dots are always fun. The lace on the cup lies flat, and didn't show through my shirt. The silky bow on the gore seems a bit large, but was not visible, and seems to keep a low profile. *It's comfy. No if, ands, or buts. The fabric is super soft. The soft fabric is on the straps where it goes over your shoulders, and the straps are a little bit wider and very cushy (the same as on my 3D Porcelanka). *The band is very comfortable. It has all the same measurements as my 3D Porcelanka, but the band is more comfortable. ? Maybe not as firm? I don't know, it seems to fit the same, just ... nicer. *High quality construction, as always from Ewa. *The removable "push up" pads are more like adjusters. In my other 3Ds I use one in the right cup for my slightly smaller breasts so they look even. Not "push up" at all, so don't be fooled. *Narrow wires *Deliciously low gore. My breasts are close set, and I love me a low gore.
(Possible) Con/not con/typical wear pattern: *Given its resemblance to my 3D Porcelanka, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that after some significant use, the material will pill underneath the armpits and where it rubs on your shirt the most. *I know this bra has too small of cups, but I'm going to throw this in as I have a handful of other 3D styles in the right cup size: I have really high roots that come up to about a finger's width away from my collar bone. Even in the 70DD, if I push my chest out, or take a deep breath, the top panel does push into my upper breast tissue and looks kinda quad boob-ish. But, as I don't walk around puffed up, so it's not really an issue. But if you have tall roots, just know it might be an issues, where as it won't be if you go for the CH, PL or CHP style. Compared to my other PLs, the Cielisty has really low cup height. The 70D - Ewa Michalak » Pl Milady (330), for example, has about one inch of additional cup height. The wires are wide and bendy, the cups are open on top. As every EM plunge bra, the Cielisty has a really low gore and is super comfy to wear. The band is true to size, maybe a bit on the stretchier side (somewhere between UK 30DD and UK 32D).
Other than the band being too loose for my 27" UB, this bra fits perfectly. This leads me to think that it runs large in the cup, since I typically would wear a 65E/70DD, and this is one cup size smaller. So: Band is True to size, cups are possibly a size large. I love the detailing, but I was surprised when I saw how Ewa actually achieved the style. It's a beige/tan cup, overlain with lace and criss-crossed ribbons! It surprised me at how simple the pattern would be to recreate, and I really like the detailing. My only complaint is that the lace has little tassle-y-esque ends that poke out on the top about 0.25", which tickle me occasionally, but I think they'd be super easy to tack down if I was determined enough with a sewing needle.
This bra came with pads for asymmetry and the little cotton inset to insert them in.
I got this size as I'd heard that the Gazeta ran with a tight band and big cups. Nope, this fits exactly like a 70D should on my normal 65E/60F breasts: too small in the cup and too loose in the band. I'll probably sell this.
I got this on a whim, just to try the 3D style, and I definitely should have stuck with my normal size! This feels like it fits somewhat true to a 70D, which is unfortunately 1-2 cup sizes to small, and 1-2 band sizes to big for me.
Me: very soft tissue; Measurements: UB 68/72 cm (26.5/28.5"), Bust 87/92 (34/36.5")
This bra is too small for me by 1 cup size. I wear a 70DD or 65E in this style.
Band: Accurate, lined with white mesh.
Cups: soft, comfortable and open on the top. Because of the openness, I think I could actually fit this size if I had firmer breast tissue. Included pads for asymmetry.
Straps: Partly Adjustable, very soft and comfortable. I love covered straps.
Fabric: Really lovely coral, bright but not overly so. The lace lays flat.
Overall. I LOVE this bra and how playful it looks, it just isn't the right size.
Compared to the other PLs (e.g., Ewa Michalak Pl Cielisty (42)), this bra has more cup height and also seems more closed on top (slightly cutting in). It didn't suit my wide root shallow boobs as well as the other PLs did.
This is a very thorough and helpful review. Thanks!
