O M G - I am in bra heaven! This and the 70J SM Trefl were the first Ewa Michalak bras I've tried - I got them off a fellow bratabaser, and was expecting them to be a bit small on the band and maybe off a cup size, based on other reviews I've read on EM bras, but was hoping to at least use these to give me a better idea what size I would be so I could finally place an order.
Well, as it turns out, these bras seem to be custom made for me! Every "issue" I've had with ...other bras are resolved in this bra (common issues included wires that weren't narrow enough, not enough cup depth/roundness, straps that were too wide-set and subsequently cut into my shoulders by my armpits). This bra is incredibly well made, gives an amazing shape, and makes it feel like I'm not wearing a bra at all! I don't think I'll be ordering anything but EM's from here on out - don't even want to wear my other bras anymore! Read more 81 more words
This is my first EM bra and I was hoping for a better result. I went with a 32J because I have been having some quadboob issues with my 32HH Panache Jasmine. It's a very pretty, well-constructed bra, but I don't think the cup fabric is supportive enough. maybe it's just the wrong size for me.
I figured the band would be tight, so I knew an extender would be necessary. I didn't want to get a 34 because the few 34s I have ride up. I can't even hook this bra without an extender. (my ribcage measures from 33" loose to 30.75 super tight)
The cups have a ...lot of wrinkling along the top edge of the cup, maybe I should have gone a cup size down. I could sew a few small darts to fix this, but I don't know if I'm keeping it.
The bra is more of a beige color in real life, for some reason in pictures it looks more ivory. It's very pretty.
The single layer of lace is very delicate and looks nice on, but to me, it doesn't feel very supportive, especially on the underside of the cups. This is my biggest issue: there is a weird in-cup quadboob going on, along the center of both breasts. It's like the weight of my boobs is weighing down the lace. I tried to get a picture of it, but was not successful. Since it's happening in between my boobs, along the the underside, it doesn't show with a top on, but I am afraid the cup will give out completely in a short amount of time.
It feels a bit rough to the touch and after wearing it for about 30 minutes, the straps/edge of the cups, along the front of my arms, are cutting in.
The band did feel comfortable (with the extender) and the shape of the wires was nice, but they are just a bit too narrow for me, especially on my larger left side. The wire on the right was almost perfect, just could be a smidge wider.
The gore tacked nicely and the height was great for me, my breasts are very close together and lots of bras come up too high for me. Read more 263 more words
I really think this bra is gorgeous. It's everything that I want in a bra, except that it's about a cup size too big. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" />
The band on this bra is a bit tighter than I was expecting. I forget that sometimes the earlier Ewa's are a bit tighter in the band.
This bra is so nice and is pretty comfortable, but sadly it just doesn't fit. The cups seem to be a bit too far spaced apart, so much so that I fall out a bit in the center. I guess a cup size up might fit, but I kind of think it is a bit of a lost cause.
This size is just a bit too large for me. I get obvious gaping in the cups near the center gore.
I altered my 75H Cielus by taking in the center gore a bit which took in the band and made the cups angled a bit more at the center. That bra fit me nearly perfectly that way, so I wonder if the 70HH would be best for me.
This bra is nicely made as are all Ewa bras! The fabrics are soft and the light padding is perfect.
This bra just doesn't fit me. The cups are too big which means a bit of gaping at the top where the chp style should lie flush to the chest. The wires at the side were also too high for me. The fabric is lovely though. I also love that Ewa is starting to incorporate a curve into their design at the bottom of the band at the central gore. I find this is a lot more comfortable than bands that just sit straight across.
I think I will just stick to the 70HH in this style.
I like the CHP shape from EM. It's rounded and projected up front, and with narrow yet deep enough cups for my shape. The top edge is open and so avoids quadboob for me. The center gore is high enough to keep me from falling in to the center, which happens to me in the PL-styles. The straps are fully adjustable but not slippery. The only disappointment for me is that the band and side panels are very stretchy, and so I can wear the bra comfortably on the smallest hook new. I'm going to have to tailor it down once it stretches from wear, but does fit quite comfortably on that smallest hook otherwise. I'd say go down a band size if you like a firm or snug band.
I requested a custom 32J for this bra and quite like it for a firm cup, CHP style from Ewa. The straps are fully adjustable and very firm, with little stretch to them. The band and side panels, on the other had, are very, very stretchy material. I would have selected to go down another band size if I knew this. I can wear the bra comfortably on the smallest hook new out of the package, so I'm a bit sad that I will need to alter the band smaller as it wears. But, aside form that, it's a lovely looking bra with the up front, projected cup shape. Quite comfortable, and a rounded profile that I prefer. One of the very few models in a firm cup for my size that I've encountered recently. Very open on top, so avoids quadboob for me, which I tend towards all too often.
I love this bra. The fabric itself is just so soft. The band is comfortable and pretty stretchy. The only problem for me is the cups just don't fit. I get quite a bit of gaping at the tops.
*sigh* I really wish this one fit, but I should just let it go at this point.
This bra fits perfectly, my best bra ever https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> Only negative thing is that straps are partially adjustable and strechband strap on back is so wide it gets wrinkles around that little plastic ring.
