Stiff silky fabric, like starched silk. The cup was too high under my arms, and it cut into my tail of spence. Also not enough projection at the wire for me, with wrinkling at the bottom. Still, very pretty pattern, and I loved the elastic at the top of the cup. Perhaps I'll try other models in this size, but I always seem to get a pointy shape with EM.
Bought this thinking it was an Sf for some reason. I think the S cut is just not right for me. It is very open on top and I struggle to fill it out, even though I can wear a 34G in Pl right now. :/ Maybe a size down would be better, but then it might be too narrow.
Nevertheless, it’s pretty, comfortable, and a nursing bra, so I think I’ll deal with the gaping for now - it’ll be less significant a few hours after nursing anyway.
I was a bit surprised and disappointed that it has no cookie pockets. Of all the bras in my current rotation, this is the one that needs it most.
Edit: It doesn’t gape anymore. I don’t know what changed, but this is now my best fitting bra. Did my boobs grow? Was I wearing the band too loose? I have no clue but I’m not complaining.
This is a great shade of pink lace and the straps are super comfy!! Somewhere along the last year I got my size mixed up so I went up in the cup and band in my search and ended up with a couple great bras that needed cup reduction to fit, I took in fabric beside the gore in a non permanent alteration and it works great! i got this quite some time ago and haven't gotten around to writing a review till now, oops! long story short, this doesnt fit me so i never wore it. the band is just too small for comfort, womp womp :'( i kind of suspected it would be though, im never sure if i should be a 75 or 80 band. i have had other 75s that fit and some that were too tight to clasp, so its a toss up. the cup width and depth i think are pretty good, although it stands away from my breasts at the top edge a little bit. im not sure ...if its too open or too big, but i suspect its just a bit too open or possibly its just a bit too thick of a lace or something.
its in good used condition, the band feels very sturdy still and the hooks and eyes are all in fine shape. the fabric has some pilling, not major but its there. the corners of the cups curl inwards when its at rest, but that has no effect on when its being worn. hopefully i can pass this on to someone who can get some use out of it! Before I was pregnant, this bra fit pretty well. The band was always a tad snug though. It fit correctly, it just wasn't very comfortable. The band is too small at the moment due to my ribcage widening a bit, so I wear it was an extender. The wires are narrow as is typical for EM, which fits my slightly narrow roots well, and I really like the short/narrow gore.
I wish I understood why my breasts love the S and not the SM. I don't think it's just seamed vs. padding. Something is going on with the fundamental shape.
Ewa gets a lot of credit for her deep cups, and overall that's accurate, but I think compared to a bra with similar measurements (say, my 32FF Panache Jasmine, with the same cup width and depth but a taller gore), there is a...steeper cup? It's not exactly less projection right at the wire so much as a higher horizontal seam, so that more of the cup is "bottom" and less "top," which gives the illusion that my breasts aren't ...full enough on top to fill it. Except that's laughable if you look at literally ANY of my other bra photos.
This bra also lacks center fullness. As with Comexim plunges, my nipples are lying way closer to my sternum than the cup of the bra wants them to. But if I were to go up a cup size to get more depth, these straps would be off my shoulders, onto my upper arms.
The result? Simultaneous gaping and in-cup quad boob.
So while this seems to be the right SIZE for me (at this point in the arc of my shifting weight, sigh), it seems to be the wrong CUT for me.
CHPs continue to be my gold standard bra (though I'm once again between sizes). I am going to try an SF or BM next, once I scrape up the patience and funds. Read more 142 more words
I like how this looks. The straps over the breast are a bit difficult to adjust because the slide is so very small. The straps are very, very thin, which I find a bit problematic; I am afraid they will stretch out quickly.
I can't decide if this is a bit too big. Something about it feels a touch too unstable in the cups. But I also feel that going down a cup would make it too small. The immediate projection in this bra is great, it stays in my IMF better than any other bra I've tried. Band is a bit tight.
this bra sadly is a failure on me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> the band is good on the second or third hooks, which is confusing given that i have an 80 band which i can *just* get closed. EM bands are frustratingly variant and it discourages me from ever buying one new! at least on bratabase i can get measurements. i knew this band would likely fit like this (because i had seen the measurements) so its not a surprise, just a reminder of the crazy size fluctuations the brand has.
the cups have way too much space in them https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" .../> im not sure why, since numbers wise they should fit. maybe the cup is just too open? it feels like at least one cup size too large, maybe even two. the straps are also too wide set, so even if the cups fit, i wouldnt be able to wear it comfortably.
i cant seem to nail my size in EM! i was hoping the half cups would be my holy grail bras, but it looks like thats not the case.
All I can say is the bra is beautiful and the fit is amazing. I decided to sister size up and I am glad I did. The band runs pretty true to size and does not have much stretch for a 34 band. I usually wear a 32 band and I have this one fastened on the first set of hooks. I LOVE IT!
I love the way this bra fits. It's very comfortable. I think the width of the wires on this bra are exactly the width of my tissue and that's great. I've never had anything this close to perfect. Unfortunately it gives a bit of a weird shape under thin clothing like fitted t-shirts. It looks good in more structured clothing though. It's super sexy.
