I received this bra by accident. I ordered the SM but got the HM. I figured I'd review it before sending it back, because data is good. For the record, I wear many different sizes in Ewa'S bras, depending on cut and fabric; right now, my best fit in the SM is a 75FF on the middle hooks.
As for the HM...wow, what a hot mess. First of all, ow ow ow ow that gore ow make it stop. The S and SM are just barely low enough for my fused breasts. The HM is both taller AND wider at the base, which I think causes the majority ...of the fit issues, from the digging gore (OW) to the overall weird shape this gives me.
It's also wider and shallower than my other Ewas, too, specifically with less center fullness (see: wider gore at the base). It gives me square boobs in profile. Now, I don't mind round and I don't mind pointy, but SQUARE?
Because of the gore height, the cup flares open at the top. Because of the cup.width, the straps are sawing off my arms. Because of the cup depth, I'm getting massive orange-in-a-glass-type wrinkles.
I like how much uplift this bra gives me. I do have to wear it with layers as the seam shows underneath, but that's not a huge deal.
The pattern does show under closely fitted clothes, but with the layers that doesn't really matter.
This bra really does have the right amount of cup width and projection.
I was afraid when I saw it online that my soft breasts, center heavy breasts would fall out the middle of it, but the bra keeps them well-contained the whole day. Sometimes I like readjusting in the middle of the day, but it is definitely not necessarily.
Too wide cut in the neckline. Too wide in the cup. Because of the width, the wing of the cup on my right breast digs in painfully. Lots of space under my arms. Boobs spill out the center. Band slightly too tight.
So I bought this bra from someone on Reddit because it was sized so wrong and too small for her. I do not know what was going on with Ewa when she made this particular bra, but it fits my band (which is basically a 29, and obviously that doesn't exist) perfectly. It was supposed to be a 34, so that's a 5" difference. It can stretch to a 30, but it's pushing it fair bit (really probably should not go beyond 28"). I just don't understand. The cup also fits somewhere between sizes, so I'd put it between a G and GG. I'd say it's closer to a 28GG though.
Either way, she did it totally wrong. Which worked out pretty well in my favor, since it fits pretty well. I'd rather have a bit more fabric for the cups, but I can adjust to fit well even though sometimes I get quadboob.
EDIT: Got ahold of a 70GG, which fits more TTS. Selling this one.
I really wanted this bra to fit. One more set of hooks and the bad would have been ok, had the straps been moved 1 cm closer together this would have been EPIC, even a bit of quadboob but I am not willing to alter such a nice bra.
Pros: great for FoB Excellent immediate projection beautiful materials very open at the top (?) very round shape
Cons: straps are widely set size75 bra doesn't even stretch to 74cm= tight band
After S Wiśniówka and S Silver I have decided not to buy any other S bra. Manly because I prefer ch style. I think that s style is very good for full on the top breast and since I am full on bottom ch style looks much better on me than s style. What I like about s style is the fact that it gives much more lift then the ch style but what I don't like is the fact that it pushes my breasts together too much. But since I love effuniak very much I was tempted so much when I saw this new ...s satin with removable push up pads, so I decided to give it a try again. S satin is a beautiful bra, very nice color and with push up pads it looks much better on me. It looks better than other two s bras I have; I think that the pads improve significantly the bra appearance at least on me. It gives a great lift also. I still prefer ch style above all but from now on if I buy s style I would buy only the ones with the pads. I also listened to the advice given buy Ewa Michalak on their site in which they say to size up in the band and I did it and it was good because it fits just fine, I didn't size down in the cup though thinking that since it has pads it want be necessary and even that was a good decision. The fit is perfect. Read more 156 more words
Beautiful, but definitely too small. Band feels fine on the middle hooks, would consider buying a smaller backsize (ie, my usual) as I think this would stretch a bit because of the fabrics. Cups are obviously too small. Can't say how it would fit, as it really didn't fit me.
*EDIT* Since losing a fair bit of weight, this bra now fits a lot lot better! Previously I was wearing a 32H, but I've gone down to a 30G/GG. This means that the cups are perfect now! The band is definitely too big on me, I'm considering altering it smaller as I love the shape this bra gives me. Despite ...being at least 2 sizes too big in the band, it doesn't move around during the day too much.
The cups are fine without the pads in, but I can add them to give that extra va-va-voom if desired. On my smallest days, there is a little big of gaping near the strap, but that's partly due to my breast shape more than the cups being too big.
The straps are well spaced, not too far set on my average-to-wide shoulders. The wires are a little narrow, but with a little re-adjusting during the day my boobs stay in place despite the huge band.
This is a beautiful bra, very happy I kept it! Read more 114 more words
I guestimated for my first Ewa and it was Almost perfect. The band was actually a little stretchier than I thought (too much, I need it on the tightest hook) and the cups were just a touch too small. It gives a Great shape though, and I can't wait to wear it.
I tried it on again a week later and the cups are perfect.. last week was shark week https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Another EM I gambled on & lost https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Transferred from another member, this bra is so undersized as to be mismarked. Even with an extender it is too tight. This one fits (and measured out) more like a firm 30. If the bra was marked, say, 70FF, I might believe it. So, fully adjustable straps, beautiful materials, 4 columns (angels sing) of 3 hooks. Although entirely covered in lace, I imagine it would still be workable under most fabrics. Back into the universe it goes.
I'm a bit disappointed with this bra. The band is really too small (less than 75cm stretched) so I have to use a bra extender. The bra is very supportive and gives a nice round shape. Compared to ch style, maybe I'll need to size up in the cup in the pl style because of the light quad boob effect.
I love the quality of this bra, the details, the lace, the colour...it's so far the best bra I've ever purchased. Also it fits perfectly and gives to my breast a lot of support. Perfect shape.
It was my first Ewa Michalak bra, bought almost 2 years ago - I've had it for a long time and it's still one of my favourites. It's pretty much perfect. What I like most about it is that it's really low-cut, a true plunge - I don't think anyone can beat Ewa Michalak in bras that both hold and show https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> The fact that it doesn't look the long-time favourite is a proof of good quality of materials.
Cups too small, but perfect bra. For more detail about this bra read on my 75G bra of the same cut where I write about the model as well as some differences between these sizes.
It stretched on 89 cm? Really?!
