Tragically, like similar Fantasie and Freya cuts, it's far too wide and closed on top for me. I have very narrow, projected and full all over boobs, and I encounter the same issues in Lois as in so many other bras. The pink colourway is lovely, and so pretty with the grey pinstripes. I'm devastated it didn't work for my shape.
I only tried this on quickly in the boutique. It fit me fairly well, the cups were narrow and deep enough without cutting in at the top. I liked the unpadded cup, which supported well, but the moulding didn't fit my shape perfectly; there was some wrinkling in the upper portion. I would have bought it if it wasn't so very, very (very, very, very) boring. There's absolutely nothing to cheer you up when you put it on on a Monday morning. It's really only a basic, and nothing more. Which is fine, but I prefer something just a little brighter.
Tight in the band and generous in the cup, this bra might be better suited to a 30GG/28H. I wore it when I measured about a 30GG, and it is the most comfortable bra I've ever had. The padding is super light; it line-dries almost as fast as my unlined bras (a bonus if you live in a super humid environment). It fit my small, sloped shoulders better than my Panache or Freya bras, and the diamond detail on the straps is lovely. I will definitely be getting this in the right size again when I can.
Definitely full coverage, so no cleavage here for me. I've heard that the cups stretch out too much for those above an E, but since my band size is small and my tissue is soft, I can't really comment on that since it didn't matter for me.
Extremely comfortable and sexy. I usually don't like tall gores because my boobs are pretty close set but the gore on this bra is so narrow that it really works and the tall gore just helps keep everything contained. I feel very sturdy and supported in the bra while maintaining a natural shape. This makes a good t shirt bra for being unmolded.
This is one of my most comfortable bras. I originally had this in 32FF which I quickly outgrew due to tissue migration. The band is stretchy on this one, so if you like your bands super tight this might not be the one for you, but I like it well enough. The cup is almost perfect, but would be better just a smidge bigger. However they don't make this in any cup size larger than G. All in all this is a very nice and comfortable bra.
I went back to Nordstrom to exchange the Freya Decos that were too big in the band to find that they didn't have any 30" bands in store. I wanted to do a quick fit check of a moulded 30G and a 30GG just to get an idea. As soon as I put this bra on in the 30G, I forgot about the Deco. For my breasts, it's about perfect. The light, stretchy moulding shapes my breasts without gaping or quad-boobing, and that's something that's hard for me to find.
The only issue I have is that the gores comes a little high/is a little wide for my extremely close set breasts, but it's hardly a problem.
I've been searching for a t-shirt bra for a long time, and while the Rebecca isn't perfect, it's the closest fit so far. Over all, the fit isn't too bad. The cup doesn't cut in along the top, the wires are wide enough, the straps stay on my shoulders. The gore, however, doesn't sit quite flush against my sternum, and the cups are definitely not deep enough for my breasts - they collapse along the bottom. As I said though, this is the best moulded bra I've come across so far.
The band is very firm - I find that Fantasie bras don't stretch out as quickly/easily as Freya's. The shape that this bra gives, however, is not really the shape I'm looking for. I find that it minimizes my projection when viewed from the side, but sort of squishes my boobs so they look wider than they are. While the shape isn't terrible, I do prefer the more projected look.
Lovely bra. The moulded cups are quite stiff but not in an uncomfortable way. I do seem to not quite fill out the very point of the cup (so not the base but the outer most point) but since the cup is moulded that is not a problem. I haveit in two different cup sizes bought within the last six months (before and after starting BCP) and it seems to me the cup runs one size big (at least compared to the other bras I've bought at the same times - Panache Porcelain)
I've only had them for - few months but so far the quality seems fine.
I measured myself wrong the first time I ever did so, and somehow ended up as a 30G when I'm actually a 28F! As expected, the Fantasie Lynsey was far too big on me (good thing I only ordered this one bra to start with). I'd definitely recommend this for full-on-top women with rounder boobs. Apart from that, I can't say much due to the fact that this was nowhere near my size at all.
As a note: the reason I placed comfort as a "Meh" is because of course this wouldn't be comfortable for me, due to the size. My much bustier friend (34F) has the same, and loves the comfort level.
This bra started off fitting pretty decently (but not perfectly) within 2 months the band has stretched quite a bit and you can see that it rides up my back. Works very well as a minimizer, but makes my breasts point east-west more than I'd like, creating a wider chest. It is comfortable for all-day wear and mildly strenuous activities like hiking. It is too full at the top of the cup.
I bought this bra because I trust Fantasie and Fauve to use excellent quality materials in their bras. Great high quality materials usually make me feel like a million bucks. The Vivienne bra has been made in a few really sophisticated colour shades - each a small twist on a grey/nude/neutral shade. I bought the Latte.
Unfortunately I'm not thrilled with the shape of the bra on. It's a bit matronly. The cups create a triangular shape and the lace flattens and pushes my breast tissue downwards. It's not perky. It's not rounded. I also cannot fill the cup up at the top of the lace near my underarm ...- it comes up very high towards my shoulder.
I also feel as though the underwire shape doesn't really follow the natural shape of my rib cage and breasts. I'm not sure what's off about it, but it seems to be a curve thing. I don't feel like I'm filling out the very base of the cups, they tend to ride down my ribcage somewhat.
In terms of sizing I think the 30 band is on the large size, and I'm wearing the brand new bra on its tightest hook. It's got a good amount of comfort stretch in the band, so while it's comfortable to wear and breathe deeply in, I worry that it will not be tight enough after a month or two of wear.
The fit is similar to the Freya Pollyanna or Freya Arabella I'd say (I've owned/tried both of those bras).
Expensive bra. Nice materials. Shame about the shape and just-not-quite-right-fit. I think Panache/Cleo are currently creating more flattering shapes and styles than the Fantasie/Freya/Fauve group are these days.
Wouldn't recommend it, unless you try it on in person and love it. Read more 183 more words
I absolutely love this bra. I usually prefer moulded cup styles, and this bra is not padded at all, but it fits me so well. I have full on bottom breasts. I really like the side support on this bra. I always have problems with armpit fat spillage, and this style is VERY smoothing in the armpit. It is not suited as a t-shirt bra however.
I tried this bra on because it was cheap and was a sister size, I didn't actually expect it to fit though! I really like how the wires hit me on this, but I really dislike the shape that it gives me. The lace across the top varies from being too tight to not filled enough, and it makes my boobs look slouchy instead of rounded. So great support, not so great shape.
I LOVE my Fantasie Rebecca (2024) . I was shocked to discover that I was actually a size 30G, but now that I know what a true sized bra is like, I'm NEVER going back to VS. It is comfortable, does not move throughout the day, and so far has not stretched out or started to poke.
My basic necessity. This is the only bra that has not given me a quadboob. It does now because I've gained weight but this is the only bra that has not given one to my close set. I like the shape it gives, not to projected out and not too much of a east-west projection. When I went to the bra fitter, this was my favorite bra out of the many I tried and also the bra fitters favorite. The one thing that bothers me about this bra is that the straps are way too far apart. I always have to bring them back up constantly. Nonetheless, this is still my favorite bra too date.
I love the purple colour and believed it fit upon first month of wear. However, as I have become accustomed to my new bra size (34band to 30band), I have found that this style of bra just does not suit me. The straps sit too far away making me fidget; the cup cuts too high into my armpit giving a horrible bulging effect; the wires are too wide for me and so a lot of breast tissue is on the sides instead of projecting out front (which my breast shape naturally does, I think); the band feels quite stretchy and seems to ride up ever so slightly; and, although supported, it does not feel as supportive as my other bras and actually separates my breasts out, which I don't like the look of.
This bra fits everywhere great. Doesn't cut into my armpits, wide enough cups... Only issue is that the depth seems to be double what I have. I barely fill half of it.
This bra is so pretty and fantastically comfortable (I currently rate it at good but if the band fit better it would be excellent). It is close to being the right fit for me but the band feels like it is rising on the back. After 3 wears I put it to the tightest hook and still felt like it was riding up. The band is very stretchy and while I fit a 30F wonderfully in the Panache ยป Sport (5021) the 30 band in this one is just too loose. Arguably I am a 29" bending over and 28" when standing up so I believe a band size down and a cup size up should set things right. However even with a too loose back it still does a great job at support with little of the weight going to the shoulders which I was rather impressed with.
