I adore this style. I've been replacing it over and over for many years. Doesn't fit me anymore sadly. It's incredibly supportive and secure, really holds you in place and keeps you looking perky. Quite modest but very pretty cleavage.
Comfortable and flattering shape. Cups are slightly too small, keeping the center gore away from the sternum. Held up well for a few years of light use
Gives an excellent, rounded shape. The wires are a little too wide for me, and the band feels a little loose--its doesn't ride up, but feels more stable on the second set of hooks.
Edit 10/27/2012: Actually, after I shortened the straps an appropriate amount, the band felt stable on the loosest hook. One thing to note is that the straps only adjust halfway.
Edit: 1/4/2013: The band on this stretched out incredibly fast. I'm on the tightest hook now, an it's only been a little over two months. By contrast, the Fantasie Florence, which I bought at the same time and had the same initial maximum stretch, is still ok on the second set of hooks.
The band is slightly looser than it might be, but not a full size, and it still feels secure fastened on the loosest hook. Cups are reasonably narrow and quite deep, which is perfect for my shape. Gives a rounded but still natural profile under clothes.
On a purely aesthetic note, it's a beautiful bra. The black and full gold lace overlaying black fabric looks a lot more striking in person than in the product photos.
Edit 10/26/2012: One thing I've noticed after having this for a few weeks is that the lace in the upper part of the cups doesn't have much stretch, which makes it not great if you have significant asymmetry, as I do. I do get a fair amount of gaping on my smaller breast, although the fabric still lays flat under clothes.
Tried this in Slate. The band is a tad looser than I'd like, but it fits well and accommodates narrow, deep breasts. Unfortunately, it creates a really pointy shape on me, so I'll be returning.
Couldn't quite find the right size in this bra- the 30FF was too small in the cup, and I can't fill the bottom of the 30G. The underwire sits very low and presses into my ribcage. Wearing this bra for long periods of time is uncomfortable.
See my review of the 30FF (this is my normal size in Freya but in this style this size is a tiny bit too big). I own this bra in both this size and 30FF but the 30FF is a slightly better fit.
Fit is very similar to the 30FF on me, except the cups on this bra (30G) wrinkle a bit at the top, even with the straps pulled tighter than I like.
Underwires are not uncomfortable, and the center gore sits right where it should. Straps are a bit too wide-set (a very common problem for me), but a strap accessory in the back fixes this. Band seems very firm, I would probably actually wear an extender to extend by one hook until it stretched out a bit.
This 30G offers more side coverage underneath the armpit than the smaller 30FF, which I actually prefer... however I think the 30FF overall offers a better fit due to the wrinkling cups on this 30G.
