The adorable pattern is just as cute in real life as it is in the photos. The underwire casing on the inside is the striped fabric, which I find charming. The padding isn't really, just a thin layer of thicker fabric to discourage nipple show-through. The fabric is smooth, not itchy, and dense enough to be supportive.
The shape I get is nice: adequate coverage, not too much cleavage. The cups might be too big, but I can't tell if going down a cup will help. The 28G balcony Mirage was definitely too small--quadraboob galore--so that's why I went up a cup with the sister size.
The band is slightly ...loose; I'd say about as tight as a regular 28 band Freya day bra. (The Mirage was possibly on the too-tight side, a rare occurrence.) I had an issue with the clasp popping open, but I think that's because I didn't fasten it fully. The mechanism is novel to my fingers.
Update: When I'm just a bit more bloated due to menstruation, the cups fit me perfectly. So, all I need to do is be bloated all the time, clearly. Read more 79 more words
This is by far the best swimsuit I’ve ever had. I originally ordered and reviewed a size 30FF and after trial and error, and realizing I am not a 30FF, I reordered in my now actual size a 28GG in the bright pink color. The shape is a sweetheart neckline with a ruffle detail along the top of the cup. The underwired cups and wings are lined with mesh material to help keep its structure. It has one plastic clasp in the back with a halter style tie at the neck. The tie straps are thick and have some sort of reinforced elastic material inside the straps to ...aide in support. I still have the complaint that after wearing it for an extended period of time the knotted part of the tie starts to dig in and irritate my neck no matter how loos or tight I tie it.
I paired this top with the matching bikini bottoms (#3022) that have a little ruffle detail on the hips that matches the ruffles on the top of the cups. This suit is fun and functional and very flattering.
I based the size of this bikini top with Freya bras I've fit in and I found this to be too tight. I couldn't event fasten it! If you generally need a band smaller than 28 this may work for you.
Overall, I like the colour and the straps have a shimmery look to them. The only thing I don't quite like are some of the hardware on the straps. On the front, you have the metallic circles connecting the straps to the cups, but on the back, the adjuster and connector are both white. I think they would look better if they matched the connector on the front.
Neptune short: The fit and coverage is good. I just don't think the style is for me since it tends to bunch up around the crotch area.
Ordered this bikini for less than buying in a local shop where I first tried it on about two months ago. Anticipated the fit to be exactly the same and it is! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
80% Nylon/Polyamide, 20% Lycra. As a non-padded cup type it fits exactly as a non-padded Freya bra does although because of the material it gives a wonderfully rounded shape! Pleased to have found a great fitting bra sized bikini set.
Underwire length and contour is great, I'm usually a Freya girl. If I get picky there could be a tiny bit more coverage in the underarm but I think I just need some more workouts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
This is a great bikini top! Though it is non-wired, it fits perfectly, the band is comfortable and the cups as well. I also tried it in size 30E, but here the band was way too tight (and the cups were a bit too small).
how cute! this is my first bra-sized swimwear purchase, and i say it went very well!
i had tried this on a multitude of times but waited until i wore it in the water to review it. it's nearly a perfect fit for me: wire width/length included!
i do have very minor quadboob on my larger side due to recent growth, but nothing that i personally feel ruins the fit or appearance of the top. in water, the band expanded and the cups remained relatively the same. it is also very secure: i swallowed a lot of water and even got flung out of my tube that day and i was in absolutely no danger of flashing anyone.
all in all, i would highly recommend this bikini top. it worked very well for me and i'm a sad my hair dye stained the band (even though i haven't dyed my hair in over four months... that's red dye for ya!)
Supportive bikini top with inner underwire cups and outer layer of sturdy fabric. Would say the cup shape is almost a weird pointy style but it doesn't matter because of the outer fabric.
Love this top, it's my go-to swim top! Really flattering blue color and great fit for my FOB, center-full, very projected, and narrow boobs. Feels secure in the ocean and for walking around. Would definitely repurchase in additional colorways.
Super comfortable and cute! Have gained a little weight since I first purchased this and at this point could probably use a cup size up. I typically fit Ewa Michalak BMs and CHPs the best (FOB, narrow, center full, projected) so I was surprised that this Freya swim top fit me so well! Would definitely repurchase in my correct size in additional colorways.
It looks cute and it fits me well, but I wish I would I would have gone up a cup size as it is perhaps too revealing. I plan on having it altered to shorten the straps, but this is a problem I have with almost every bra I've ever had.
The color, pattern, and design is very cute though!! I am excited to wear it as it is the first bikini I've had that comes close to fitting me.
Fits perfectly (BUT: ABTF calculator suggests 30F/FF, however other 30-band swimsuits felt too loose (especially if they expand in water) and I found that FF sometimes is too small (but other times OK).
Took a leap of faith that 28GG would fit well - it fits amazingly (gore sits exactly where needed, band is secure but not too tight, very slight wrinkle at top of cup - but that is almost impossible to avoid with my breast shape).
I found this bra really comfortable. The padding isn't thick but still offers some nipple modesty (I will update when I've actually used it wet). It fastens using a plastic clasp.
My shape: projected, close-set, narrow and tall roots, even fullness
This bikini is pretty much the opposite of that: the cups are wide and shallow, the gore is wide, the separation is huge. I'd still wear it only if it didn't cut into my breast tissue at the top. It looked much better on the model, haha
Otherwise, it is quite cute and comfortable. Wish it was a Comexim
UK 28FF/G. My fit needs: projected, immediately projected, slightly narrow, fob with tall roots (functionally even), very close set, very center full. Grrr, I wish that this fit me. It's a little wide. Unlined's already look deflated on me because there's no lift, which is essential for my congenital symmastia to look ok with how low cut this is, but this was also 1 cup size too big.
