    Didn't fit

I get slight quadboob, and my armpit tissue isn't properly contained; presumably the cups aren't high enough. The band is still a bit loose on me, but that's expected with my underbust measurement. It's very much a true "28, and if you're in between band sizes you may want to size up. I recommend sizing at least 1 cup size up from the regular Deco.

    Didn't fit

I bought this bra in nude.

I was super excited about this bra because since figuring out I was wearing the wrong bra, I didn't have a properly fitting strapless to wear.

Firstly, this bra looks rather nice, though nothing fancy, and it has a nice feel to it. When I first got it, the cups had been crumpled up a bit in the mail, so I was a little worried, but it smoothed out without any real issue. It looks very much like its strapped counterpart with only a few differences that I'll mention in a moment.

When I got this bra, I was actually very surprised by the ... size of the cups in comparison to my normal Deco. They looked freakin HUGE. Granted, the normal Deco I have is a 36GG, but still it should have the same volume. There shouldn't be that big a difference between them, but I digress. They're made of the same moulded material. Inside the cup, there is a piece of folded material much like what is used in the band sewn in the outside part of the cup for what I assume is extra support for the side of the breast and firm up the outside portion of the cup. It is very soft and completely unnoticeable when wearing. I can't fill the top part of the cups, and I wish they didn't come up quite so high.

The gore comes up higher in this bra than the normal Deco, which I both like and hate. I like that my boobs don't feel like they're about to tumble out, but the gore feels like it comes up almost too high. I think it would have been much better if it split the difference between this one and the normal one on gore height, but I can understand the change. The wires also come up rather high under the arms, but they aren't uncomfortable.

The band on the bra is obviously wider than the normal Deco, or for that matter, most bras I have that aren't strapless. It has 4 hooks per column, so it feels very secure on. The band is also very snug, but not overly so. In fact, it feels quite comfortable, and it seems like it will do what is should. I haven't worn this bra all day, but I feel it will stay comfortable.

It comes with straps as it is a multi-way strapless, which I actually like. The straps look very similar to the ones on the normal Deco, but they are quite a bit smaller. There are also 2 difference places in the cup and on the band to hook in the straps, so you have a choice of where you'd like the straps to be placed, Considering straps often tend to rub under my armpit due to their placement, I like this feature a lot.

Overall, this is a very nice bra, and it does what it should. Sadly, since the cups are much too large for me, I will be returning this bra.

    Fits

This bra is brilliant. It is way better for me than the regular Deco in the same size, which gaped horribly at the top even though the underwires fit. This is my new favourite bra, everything fit perfectly the moment I put it on. Stayed put the whole day.

One con I can think of is that the "sticky" strips that prevent it from sliding everywhere might get a teeny bit uncomfortable by the end of the day. May not work for boobs which are fuller on top as the cups would cut into the breast tissue, but is fantastic for tear-shaped boobs.

Edit: I have some scars from where the silicone strips have rubbed against my skin after a whole day of wearing this bra, so that isn't fun. The skin there also gets kind of tender after long periods of wear. Might just be that my skin is sensitive, but it's something to keep in mind.

  4. The Deco strapless is pretty much the only strapless bra that works for me. It's a pretty plain looking bra; you're not buying it for looks. I has two removable straps that can be done up in many variations. There are two sets of hooks for the straps in the front and two in the back. The band is very firm and much tighter than the regular Deco band. I wish strapless bras came without the silicone strip as my skin is very sensitive and after a while it bothers me; the band is tight enough that it would stay up without it. The bra is pretty much invisible with smooth cups.

    Didn't fit

I was looking for a strapless bra for the summer, and this one fit the bill quite well. It stays up and requires very little adjusting throughout the night (even while dancing) since the band is quite snug, thanks a piece of thick elastic that runs throughout and a 3 hook closure. My main complaint with this bra would be that the padding in the cups is VERY stiff. It feels a little like armor. While this may serve as some structure, it doesn't make for a very natural feel (or appearance), as I usually prefer totally unlined cups. But for someone who likes padding in their bras, I'm sure it would be just fine. It does what it's meant to do very well, and I have lately taken to wearing it with the straps during the colder weather if I feel like having little extra padding.

    28G

    Didn't fit

I got this bra because I had it in a 28FF and grew out of it after a few months. It was great while it lasted, although there was sometimes some wrinkling of the cups towards the bottom. The 28 band started out tight at first, but eventually loosened up enough to wear without an extender. Anyways, there was a huge difference in fit between the 28FF and 28G for me.

Like I had expected, I had to try this on with an extender. Without, I can still fasten the bra, but I'm popping out all over the place... What I didn't like was that the 28G is ... just so much MORE bra, and that doesn't work with my small frame. It comes up higher under the armpits and I didn't really feel like it needed 4 hooks, but whatever. The center gore is also a 1/2 in taller than the 28FF.

That above anything else is what makes me want to return this. For one, I have very close set breasts, which is why I prefer plunge bras. The higher center gore is basically sitting on top of breast tissue at this point. It also shows under lower cut tops which means that I can't even wear this bra anymore with a lot of the clothes that call for something strapless.... I might want to try again with a 30FF, but for now I think I'll just make due with the 28FF that I have. I don't have time right now to go through the return/exchange process.

  7. This is a really, really awesome bra. With or without the straps, the support it gives is excellent. It has a very round, smooth shape and works under pretty much any clothing. It's probably the most useful bra I own.

I wish it were available in a cup size larger than GG, since I could maybe have gone with the wiggle room that an H would have (my breasts like to surprise me by growing.) But as it is, I can wear the bra comfortably for the whole day. The light padding is a little bit heavy for hot weather, but it has enough lift to prevent underboob ... rash and other atrocities that come with the summer.

If you're considering purchasing the bra, you should be aware that the band is on the snug side. Usually a 28 is better for me, since I have an itty bitty ribcage under all my squishiness, but the 30 in the Deco strapless is just perfect. Don't get this bra expecting the band to stretch quickly- it's very sturdy and would take more breaking in than it's worth! If you're not sure what band size to get, aim a little bit high.

My one complaint is that the bra spreads my boobs a little too far apart for my tastes. It would probably look better on someone with a broader chest. It looks great under clothing regardless, though.

    34GG

    Didn't fit

Like most people who try this bra, I found that it was just too big in the cups. I've been fitted at 34H through {intimacy} and have tried and fit in bras sized 32HH. I purchased this bra originally to wear to my brother-in-law's beach wedding; I'd found a really pretty, off the shoulder dress that was begging me to wear it. Anyway, I didn't have much time so I compared the measurements of my pre-altered 36G Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra and saw that they were relatively similar in terms of cup size (I think they should add cup HEIGHT to these measurements). ... Unfortunately, based solely on measurements, it was up in the air as to whether or not it would fit, but the measurements were similar and I decided to give it a shot. And let me tell you, this is one weird bra.

On the tightest hooks I had back cleavage and the cups could literally fit twice my cup size in them. On the loosest hooks the band seemed fine, but I was nervous to wear a strapless bra so "loose" for a full day so I put it on the middle hooks where it seemed to fit best. After a the ceremony and photos (about 2 hours of wear) I noticed that my boobs were suddenly falling out of the top of the bra. The bottom of the bra, that had been filled so nicely when I put it on, was now folded over; and the top of the bra, that had been loose and floppy when I put it on, was now being overrun with boobage! My boobs were shifting all over; I left it alone and didn't adjust it until I took the bra off 3 hours later after returning to the hotel.

Overall, I would like to own this bra in a size that actually fits. The Deco bras tend to run a bit on the large side it's actually kind of ridiculous. As someone who has tried on and worn many bras in 32HH/34H I can definitely tell you that this bra is at least 2 cup sizes larger than they should be. I think a 34FF or 34G would have fit better; I had considered buying a 32GG, but decided against it because strapless bras tend to run more firm in the band and I think a 32 would have killed me.

I'd like to explain my ratings. Quality is good because, well, it's a nice bra and it seems well constructed (just bit). The comfort is good in the band, but the cups are just too big. And the appearance of the bra is meh because, while it does look alright, it just doesn't fit and ended up flattening me out and making my boobs look super saggy.

For some reason, this doesn't fit as well as the regular model. I have no issues with the cups or level of support on the regular bra, even with the straps down. The cups on this seem to be wider, with the underwire a good inch off of the end of my breast tissue and into my underarm. I also get a little "folding" under the cup. I love my Deco and was hoping this would be it's match.
I have a 38dd VS body strapless and while I have to tug it up because the band is too big, the cup fits better than this and that makes me sad.

    • It sounds like this style is too shallow for you. The Deco strapless is cut pretty differently from the Deco plunge.
