The wires are too wide, although the cup depth is ok. I think I prefer lower gores, although this was the first non-plunge bra I have tried on. The band feels much too big for me, I am getting used to Parfait By Affinitas tight bands so I am not sure I can wear a 30 band in Freya anymore.
The material lining the cups is very soft and comfortable, it almost feels fuzzy. I have never tried on a bra like this before. The strap is made of a different material that is also soft.

This bra was on sale so I grabbed the chance on getting it. This is technically my first unpadded bra. Not quite a fan of unpadded bras because I usually wear t-shirts and my nipples are quite visible. What I'm only after was the side support and narrow wires, which pushes your breasts towards the center.

It did serve its purpose. My boobs became more centered. The band definitely fits. The only problem I got was the quadboob effect.

This style reminds me of the basic bra we had in my country.

I've got the same problem as galaxie12 , but only with my smaller boob. Under a top the gapping is not visible and this bra should fit me fine around that time of the month, when my boobs are biggest. Like with the Patsy Halfcup the cups come up a bit higher than older HCs such as the Libby.
I close the band on the tightest (of two sets of) hooks, otherwise it moves. I didn't want to get the 28 band, though, because I thought an extension would look weird on a longline and because it should be fairly easy to shorten the band when necessary. I've since discovered that it will be a bit more of a hassle to move the straps than I thought, but well, I'll have to deal with that when the time comes and the band is stretched.
Edit: I haven't put on any weight but for some reason the band stays put in the wider setting now.

This is a very pretty bra, and from the reviews, one that is suppose to be good for projection. The band is stretchy so I sized down from a 36" band and tried three sizes in 34, an F, G, and GG. The G fit the best, although not perfect, but close enough to keep it. The wires are flexible. I have only worn the bra once and the material left red marks where the straps meet the cup. That was unexpected. I suspect with washing and more wear that will stop. There is very, very slight overspillage on the left, larger side and the gore almost, but not quite tack. Sizing up caused more issues with unfilled cups.

I got this bra very cheap off Ebay. I wouldn't have bought it a full price since I knew that Freya and I don't get along and all Freya bras I've tried so far failed to work in the J+ cup range.
This bra is no exception. The wires feel quite week. I find the band too stretchy, I need to wear it on tightest setting. The cups are about 1 size too small at least. I get some major quadboob and the gore doesn't lie flat. I think, that the construction is too weak to fully support some K-cup boobs. I cannot say much about the shape since the bra was obviously too small.
The straps are wide and comfortable (I love Freya straps!) The bra itself is nothing special in my opinion. The purple colour is quite nice.

Because it was so pretty and it was my old favourite bra, for giggles and a miracle, I bought the new season Jade colour, which is stunning. Previously bought the black version about a year ago in my old size. I also wanted to test out my bra size as I have had difficulty in determining what my size is.

As expected... No miracle and my cup size is definitely bigger. Band is just too big to get away with and I bowl out of it after I swoop and swoop with gaping at the bottom.

Stunning bra though for anyone who can fit into them, love the colour, quality and the lace in the wings and edge of cups, straps and sides in particularly pretty and a nice addition.

Result: Disaster, why no 28HH-J cups Cleo :/ !!

This is my favorite and best fitting bra. I've owned it for a while, so the band may have stretched out. A 30 band is more comfortable in most other bras for me. The mesh fabric on the sides and back is very stretchy. Many other bras I try have straps that are too wide-set, but this one is perfect. It is also very supportive and makes my boobs look good.

This bra gives me the lift I need, since I have low set breasts (fairly firm, a bit full on top). It feels sturdy and wonderful. As I've only been wearing it for 2 days, the band is making my skin a little bit sore, but I expect it will chill out soon. My breasts don't fill the cups 100% if I slouch, but the 28FF was decidedly too small for me. It's a strange, lovely feeling to not be in a bra that's too tight in the cups. I could get used to this...

Less uplifting than my other Freya bras. The band rides up a bit but also sometimes feels to firm and digs in, I feel the more elastic band would be more comfortable.

My best fit so far. I would say my breasts are full on the bottom and wider set. I highly recommend it for soft breasts which need a lot of support, I tend to get bulges where the seems are with elastic cups. The cups on this one are completely non stretchy.
Compared to my other Freya bras the band feels much tighter and a G cup fits perfectly, while my other Freya bras are FF.

I really don't like this bra. I think I need at least a small amount of padding to even out my shape. The area in the cups where the lace meets the fabric is a little too deep for me, causing wrinkling. While the top of the cups don't cut into my boobs, they feel oddly constricting compared to the looseness in the center of the cups.

This is the first Freya bra I have ever tried on which has such narrow wires it really cannot enclose my boobs. I wish I had read the other reviews before I bought this one, as it seems I am not the only one with this issue.

  16. Patsy Padded Half Cup Bra (1223)

    Pros:
    - Good for wide root/shallow breasts, like mine.
    - Band runs a little loose, which I actually like.
    - Straps adjust well, and don't bother me.
    - Okay for t-shirts.

    Cons:
    - Material is a little scratchy after a while.
    - Underwires were kind of poking under my arms after a while, had to readjust a few times during the day.
    - While okay for t-shirts, would not provide a smooth silhouette for a tighter top.

Not my favorite bra, but it does give me a nice, up front and center look.

This is a great bra I just ordered it in the wrong size. I havent worn it, just tried it on and put it back in the bag since it was too big around for me. I missed the return by date and the company wouldnt refund the money so I am trying to sell it. All brand new, never worn.

I loved the color of this bra from the moment that I saw it online. And when I got my first Patsy, in the black polka dots, I figured I really wanted a second in the peacock color but couldn't find one. My husband was awesome enough to track one down for me in the right size, but that's where the happiness ends.

I really wanted to love this bra. The cups fit just as well as the black version, but the band on this feels like it stretches A LOT. The first time I wore this I was able to put the clasps on the tightest setting - ... and it still felt like there was room in the band. The measurement numbers don't look any different from some of the other Freya bras I have, but maybe it's the fabric, it just feel like it stretches and then keep going.

    If this wasn't a discontinued model I would love to try a 34 band - but we've already looked and it's a no go https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />

  19. Just Flew In Padded Longline Bra (1393)

The JFI longline fit in terms of the Bratabase fit criteria.
The band runs tight/true to size and the cups run about 1 cup size small.
However, I found that the cups slid down over time, and the wires are too wide for my breast root.
It's only a minor issue, but an indication that the bra is probably too shallow for me.

However, the 30E fit much more comfortably than the 28F - Freya » Just Flew In Padded Longline Bra (1393).
I would have kept it in a 30E (it looks great under T-shirts!), but I have enough bras that fit me well.

My impression is: This bra runs small in the cups compared to other Freya halfcups and longline bras.
The cup measurements of the 28F are similar to the Freya Ingrid Padded Half Cup (4453) in 30DD. I compared them side-by-side and they have the same size.

The band runs tighter than expected in Freya. I had 30 bands that stretched out too quickly and ended up giving no support at all, so I went for a 28 in this bra.
    Not the best idea.
I can close it, but it feels uncomfortable and restricting after a while. It didn't stretch out much with wear either.

    I tried a 30E (see 30E - Freya » Just Flew In Padded Longline Bra (1393)).
First of all, the wider band fixed the problem of wires digging painfully into my sternum. Such a relief!
It fit much more comfortably and still gave proper support.

To me, the rule "size down in the band in Freya" doesn't prove true for their longline bras after all.
