perfectly fitting bra, great for the summer, and i like the full and almost perky lift it gives me. too bad it's discontinued! after 8 months of almost daily use, the straps are starting to slip. otherwise, super fantastic.
I like this bra, but it isn't quite perfect. When I scoop all my tissue as far forward into the cups as I can, I get a little quad-boob but don't fill the bottom of the cups, so they fold a bit and the wires don't sit in the crease. The band under the wires rubs a little; if it was sitting higher, this might not happen. There is also a bit of empty space where the strap meets the cup. I'm not sure if this means the wires are too wide, the cups are too tall, or if it is just a bad ...fit for my particular shape. The straps are a little too far apart for me; they rub the front of my armpit, but the discomfort has lessened with wear and washings. The tightness and firmness of the band are comfortable for me, but the gore doesn't tack. I am really happy with the shape it gives, but the edge of the cup shows through thin fabrics even though there is no gaping.

The band is too snug for me, but I can just wear an extender with it until it stretches out. I have a bit of spillage at the gore, but this is to be expected with plunges. It's a bit difficult for me to adjust it when I put it on, but it's otherwise great.
This bra gives me a nice shape and I like that it's lightly padded. I had to go down a cup or two, but I hear that's not unusual with Freya bras. I also have to wear it on the tightest hook because I bought it on sale and it seems that it was tried on extensively. I like everything about this except I wish the wires on the sides were a little taller, and I get some strange wrinkling/puckering at the top of the cups that look like the lace trim shrank and pulls at the cup fabric. It's possible this bra was a customer return.
This bra is the perfect depth for my full on bottom, lots of projection boobs. I also have really soft breast tissue, but this bra seems to keep it in place. The wires are quite wide, I probably have about an inch of extra fabric that my breast tissue doesn't even reach. I don't see this as a big deal (as of right now) they aren't uncomfortable and they don't dig in unless you wear them for 6+ hours. Now, I ordered a 32 band, but it stretches to nearly 37in, this is pretty good for me because I'm making the transition from 32 to 34 so it's ...really comfy. But, I suggest going down a bandsize, the stretch can be a bit much.
Sadly, I can't completely fill out the top of the cup. The lace wrinkles a bit, but the top seem cuts into breast tissue (how does that work?!). I will most likely be altering the lace applique when I find the time. This gives great support and lift, the cups aren't very round, but they have a lovely natural shape. I'll be keeping this bra. Unfortunately I overestimated my size and so I have gapping in this. Shapewise, the bra is way too tall for me so not recommended for other ladies with short torsos. I get poked in the arm a lot. But I really love the shape that this bra creates under clothing! It gives a really rounded shape and very good lift. I wish that it fit me better.
I'm so excited that this bra fits me! I tried other bras in the same size (30G) that did not fit. Their cups were 9 inches inside, and this 30G is 10 inches inside. I guess I can fit into G and GG cups depending on the actual size of the cups! It's too bad that this is not more regulated. It would serve me well to stick with this brand (Freya) since I now have a good fit.
This bra is very comfortable. My one major complaint is that the band in the front flips up.. it's supposed to stay down, even over my squish. This could be because it is used, I didn't buy it new. Regardless, not a reason to disqualify it from purchase.
I have issues with my armpit fat, especially in the back (see picture) - this happens in every bra, though.
Based on my great experience with the Deco longline bra, I expected great things of this bra. When I put it on, I was pleased with the fit, comfort, and appearance. The style is current with a sweet vintage vibe. However, after wearing it during the day, I noticed gaping at the tops of the cups. I may have been able to size down in the cups. Still, the lift is very good. The band is actually amazingly comfortable, with extra soft padding along the hooks. Overall, the material is nice, and the bra is very cute both in terms of style and color/pattern, providing a good, uplifted shape, and I can fix the gaping by layering a cami over it.
Edit: After wearing this bra I realize I really should have gone down a size in the cups. There's just too much gaping at the top. Beyond that, though, I've decided Freya just isn't the brand for my breast shape.
The band on this bra is quite firm. The straps dig into my armpits a bit. This is pretty normal for me, but the way the straps on the Honey are put together makes them slightly itchy.
I filled out this bra beautifully when I first tried it on, but now it's gaping slightly on my larger breast (the smaller breast always gapes on everything :-/ ). In addition, the wires are too wide - which might be why I'm not filling the top out anymore.
It is wearable, so I'll probably keep it around for when I desperately need a t-shirt bra. At least until I find something that fits better.
This is my best fitting bra so far. The band fits on me just right, I fill the cups just right, etc. I wish it were a little taller under the arms to hold in some under arm chub, and I wish the front longline part didn't roll up when I bend forward, but I can live with those things.
I really wanted this bra to fit, the pattern is so cute. I loved the light padding and longline look. The fabric is mesh, rather than something smoother/softer, but I still found it comfortable and not scratchy. Unfortunately, the cups run a bit too shallow for me. There isn't enough depth at the bottom of the cup, so the underwires sit too low on my chest and leave empty space near the bottom of the cup, but quad-boob on top. If I went up a cup size I believe the wires would be too wide. The band seemed to run large. Since it was a longline it didn't ride up, but still felt loose.
The details and colors are super cute, and it's a nice every-day bra. the embroidery shows a bit under thin Tshirts, but it isn't too bad. Fit-wise, I'd say it's alright, the cups might be a bit too wide and a bit too small for my shape, but nothing I'd throw a fit over by a long shot.
Meh. Some people swear by Decos, but I don't really care for molded-cup bras. It's a nice basic nude, and it does a nice job of hoisting my boobs up and keeping them there, but it's not all that comfortable to be wearing padded armor. My made fit issue is the width, as it basically is with every Freya I've ever tried. Not only are the cups too wide (I think I'm between sizes here and could probably go down to an F without sacrificing fit elsewhere) BUT the straps are so wide-set. Thirtieth verse, same as the first, bras are too wide ...for my narrow shoulders and frame. If you were to cut me in half (please don't) I would have more of a round cross-section than a rectangular one i.e. my chest is as deep as it is wide, thus I have this problem with most bras (except Claudette! I will sing their praise in every damn review I will ever do!) So anyway, needless to say I chopped off the straps, shaved the foam on the outer edge of the cups down about 3/4 inch and sewed it back up in a frankenbra fix and it functions much better. I'm surprised that this bra fit me, given that I generally fit vertical seamed balconettes. The band is actually firmer than I expected to be, since I've heard it runs large. It might be because I haven't quite "broken" it in yet. The gore tacks perfectly. I fill out the cups, plus it gives me some cleavage, which is super alien to me! The wires perfectly encase my breast tissue. My breasts have an average to wide-ish root (I think, at least.) with an even, leaning towards full on bottom shape. They're also slightly shallow.
I got the bra in beige, so the appearance isn't anything exciting. It gives a nice shape from the front, but it looks a bit... squashed(?) from the side. The cups themselves are seamless and practically invisible under t-shirts. This is also the only beige bra that is actually pale enough to match my skin tone!
I LOVE the colors in this bra! I really wanted the longline, but this did the job for me. Cups are silky and smooth. Lace is not scratchy and it fits very well. The very tips of the cups are juuuuuust empty, but it doesn't bother me enough to get rid of it.
This is a beautiful and very comfortable bra, but I'm on the fence about keeping it because of the stretchy band.
Cons: - The 30 band already feels a little loose on the tightest hooks (I have a 27.5" snug comfortable ribcage) right out of the box. I don't think I will get much wear out of it without having to alter it tighter and I can feel a little pressure from the straps on my shoulders because they are picking up the slack.
- The wires are a little too wide for optimal support and shape. It's not necessarily a deal-breaker but I can do better.
Pros: - The 6 ...hook band is SO comfortable! I wish everyone made bras like this.
- The lift for my soft, FOB breasts is really great. They are up, forward and round.
- The fabric is really soft, smooth and pretty.
I am marking this as sort of a half fit because it fits OK, it's just on the tightest hooks. However, I think I would ultimately be happiest in a 28FF.
This is my first bra in the correct size, and I couldn't have asked for a better bra. It's gorgeous, high-quality, and super comfortable for my shape (full on bottom, relatively close-set, wider root). The gore took a while to get used to since I've been wearing 34Cs my whole life, but with a little bit of underwire coaxing and bending, I've gotten it to the perfect fit. The underwire is the perfect width for me, and it's much more comfortable than stuffing myself into the tiny bras I've been wearing. The cups are soft, and I'm not getting any of the cone boob ...that a few people have had issues with. The large straps are also a plus, and even though they're kind of wide-set (I'm getting a little armpit fat squishing out the sides), they're not uncomfortable.
I do wish I had bought a 30F instead though because I'm using the smallest hook on the 32F. I wasn't expecting the band to be as stretchy as it is. I was getting a little bit of gappage at the top of the cup, but with proper swooping and scooping as well as tightening the band, I've filled the cups quite nicely. I'll try and edit this after I've broken the bra in some more. Read more 114 more words
