The stretch lace running across the top is what I need to prevent quadboob in a bra that otherwise fits. This bra fits me everywhere, gives good support but doesn't dig or feel tight. good for projected but would not work for a shallow shape at all.
I finally got to try the Freya Patsy bra! I debated getting this one a few times before but was worried about the gore width. I ended up getting this in a small lot of bras in the size 30F. Currently my 30FF and 28G bras fit but these messurments didn't seem far off. This is about the maximum width and height I prefer in bras. The gore is a bit more seperate than I prefer but it's low enough that it's tolerable. It does push my tissue a little sideways into the slightly wider than preferred cups. The gore almost tacks. It slightly lifts up at the ...top and sits on a bit unevenly on the tissue on my larger side. This may be because the cups are a smidgen small for my overall measurments and therefore not deep enough on one or bothnsides, my assymetry or maybe even the band being shifted by my scoliosis. This is a 30 band that Stretches 32+ so it is pretty stretchy. This bra is NWT but had been tried on by the seller, so maybe it started off smaller. I have had one Short Firm Freya that did stretch a little but this is up the alley of being a "#Stretchy Freya band" My underbust is 28 even, so this bra will probably not be supportive enough with wear. I already had to move the Hooks in to the second set but I still can pull it out a few inches on me.(2x3 Clasps) I like the Bl withack Polka Dotanf lace trim because I find the bri h ter color Polka dots to look more Juvenile than my taste. I am debating keeping this bra. I love three part half cups, I just wish the wires were a little closer at the gore (or overlapping) It is so hard to find bras that fit on both sides due to my asssymetry, I would prefer this if I could go up a size and ifbit had pockets for cookie inserts, I prefer my Polish bras like my Comexim halfcups/3HC because I can have those alterations to better suit me in narrow projected cups. My shoulders hurt a little bit, but I have postural and other back issues. This bra is cute overall and comfortable in certain ways, I am going to see if I can adjust the band and straps to feel more supportive and comfortable. Have you tried Ewa CHPs? I think they would work well for you! When I used to wear bras without cookie pockets I would attach a little Velcro into the cup and I got some bra pads from an Etsy store for a few dollars and I attached the Velcro onto the pad and it would stay put throughout the day. I've also sewn cookie pockets into the bra but it's more work lol
I Havnt yet. I've def tried More Comexims. I've had two unlined S or SM Ewas, and a huge non fitting Plunge. Do the CHP in this size range have cookie pockets at the bottom or throughout the whole cup? That's genius, I have looked on ebay for cookies, and have so much Velcro I could use on the smaller higher side.
CHP has cookie pockets and deep, narrow cups. For cookies, I was on Etsy for sewing supplies and found all sorts of foam and different sizes/colors for low prices. I got 5 pairs for under $20. I recommend searching for "bra pads" or "bra inserts" and then looking for a size that's smaller than the cup you're trying to fit. Sewing and costume shops stock variations. I've also seen them at my local sewing/craft stores.

Really beautiful bra! Fits true to size, the band rides up on me but that's because I should be wearing a 26. Only one hook closure which doesn't bother me but might be noteworthy for some. Center gore floats just a little but this is the best fitting bra I've tried so far! I tried this bra because I really liked the offbeat balconette, other than the gore which was too high for me. I had hoped that the plunge would solve that problem, but the gore seems just as high. It just ended up giving me extra fabric at the top of my breast which isn't good for me being bottom heavy. It fit similar to other Freya's I have tried. One odd design choice is that made it a one clasp back, which feels unnecessarily dainty. I didn't notice a lack of support in the 30s I wore it during the try on, but I would be nervous it wouldn't feel secure throughout the day.
I only tried this on and didn't keep it as it was a little bit too small in the cup for me.
This lacks enough immediate projection to accommodate quite projected breasts. It also caused bullet-boob for me, which was not a good look. It did seem comfortable and the extra, decorative straps look very nice, but you can't really adjust them very much.
This bra surprised me, it was a lot prettier and sturdier than I thought. I didn't feel like the lace was itchy or anything. Though it seems just a tad small in the cup for me - if I jump up or shake my body, then I get overflow in the top pretty severely. Its almost happening when I wear it normally. Doing the "sweep" thing and making sure the cup covers all breast tissue gives me overflow though. I decided to order it a cup size bigger, although I think the underwires will likely get too long and poke me, or get pushed down. Oh well, I can only try.
That looks really nice on you! I agree on 34H. Also, I don't think the underwires will be too tall, but underwires are always all up in my armpits so maybe I'm biased :P.
busts and them wires always poke me in other brands XD With Freya I atleast get a good fit while I can bend the wires a bit and then they don’t poke. I think it’s because Freya have shorter wing height in general. Freya and Elomi are so far the only bras I’ve tried that didn’t poke me (although Freya can pinch a bit, thus the need to bend the wires)
My boobs: 26FF/G ish. Even to FOT, narrow roots, moderately projected, firm tissue, decently spaced but not wide-set.
I have been coveting this bra since the first colourway came out. I just love the bright contrasting colours. Unfortunately this bra does not work for me, but let's go through the pros and cons. Pros: Super soft materials as always from Freya. It feels sturdy, for the most part. Cons: Wires were too wide for me and uncomfortable, gore was uncomfortable, and the cups do not work for my shape. Also, they seem to run small in this size. The cups do not accommodate my upper fullness as well as I had hoped. It creates the upside-down 7 shape on me. Also, the wires maybe seemed a bit softer than what I'm used to from Cleo.
Anyways, I'm glad I got a chance to try this bra even though it didn't work out for me. I hope someone out there will find that it works for them!
The fit is weird on me because of my short roots and soft tissue. The elastic on the stretch lace upper section makes it cut in. I wouldn't call it quadding, but it's not very flattering. The cups are also too tall for me, so I don't fill out the tops. I still kind of get the rounded shape I'd expect from a supportive bra, but it's hidden under the extra lace section at the top. I meant to get the side support version, not the plunge, so I guess it is my fault for not checking more closely what I was buying.
The combination of sweet watermelon pink and lipstick red makes this such a cute colorway! Plus the semi-sheer cups give it a sexy touch! The band is true to size and works reasonably well with my ~70cm underbust - reasonably firm on the loosest hook when the bra is new. The wires are a moderate width that encapsulates my right breast well, though this is a bit too wide for my narrower left breast (I have asymmetrical roots). The center gore is slightly higher than I'd need for my close-set boobs, but it's not uncomfortable. But the cups are without a doubt too small! With a bottom vertical seam length of about 6.8cm, the lower cup is too shallow for me, and my nipples sat fully in the stretch lace upper sections of the cups. Not to mention the silly quadboobing - maybe even six-boob, with busting out at the top edges of the cups as well as the diagonal seams! Will be trying 28E next.
Much too wide for me in the straps and the cups. Hard to assess fit as a result. I did find it interesting that the 30F was much wider than the 30E, but not that much deeper. Seems like the scaling is off.
Idol and the similarly shaped Fancies and Starlight might be the worst possible thing Freya could have done for my shape. Imagine taking a 32G - Freya » Deco Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) , making the cups bigger and the gore higher as a t-shirt bra (sounds okay, right?), and then spreading the gore out an extra cm so the breasts sit toward the sides of the body, closing off the tops of the cups so it shoves them downwards, and making the apex of the underwire curve not at the midpoint of the breast, but again, off toward the side. I thought molded Freya was ...a safe bet since I get along pretty well with the Deco (though the bottom of the cups is too shallow on me and folds even in those), but this was tragically bad. I finally took the gore in because it felt so much like someone had just rotated the cups wrong, and this made it /tolerable/, but unfortunately it took up space in the band that I needed and this is uncomfortably snug now. Not good for immediate projection, not good for tall roots or full-on-top, not good for narrow roots, not good for close-set breasts, and not good for people with sensitive ribcages - the wire sits hard against the skin. So close! If this band wasn't so stretchy this bra would have fit. I have the Signature Plunge and this fits pretty much the same aside from the crazy huge band. I think they are essentially the same cut and the Signature Plunge fits me well. So if that style fits you but the band is too tight this one might work for you.
I love the way it looks and personally find it fits and flatters my shape!
I normally don't like the way these bras with the extra decorative straps look when wearing clothes: they often connect higher on on the cup or somewhere along the shoulder strap, meaning the bra is often visible in ways it otherwise wouldn't be. However, this one connects lower down than the others I've tried.
I bought this bra on a second-hand website. This is the reason why I rated "Meh" in the Appearance section. Moreover the band wings are too height for me & give me sore marks right under my armpits. This is why I rated this bra "Poor" in the Comfort section.

A beautiful bra but I didn't have enough fullness on top to properly fill it out, so the lace looks strange under shirts. Also the fabric was poking my tail of spence and making it quite uncomfortable to wear, which I think may be from me over-tightening the straps to compensate for not filling the upper part of the cup.
Tried this in 3 sizes. I was absolutely squeezed into the 28D -- the cups were almost flat. Spilled out of the 28DD as well. The 28E has a smooth line along the top of the cup but the bottom of the cup has way too much empty space. The gore is also slightly too wide, though I could live with that if the rest of it fit. Yet another Freya that is the wrong shape for me.
