I am so happy that this fits! I have 4 30GG decos that I've been wearing for about 6 months. The cups are too small, but this bra just makes my boobs look so amazing! The cups on the 32GG are perfect on me. The band isn't as loose as I thought it would be. Hopefully it doesn't stretch out tooo quickly since I'm on the tightest hook right off the bat https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />. I'm still going to rotate through the 30GG decos along with this one. I love the red color. My other decos are nude, black and charcoal so this is ...a little more exciting! And it has a lot of details that the regular deco doesn't. It has cute lace on the band and straps. It just feels and looks great! The biggest gripe I have with this bra is that there is a 2-hook band. I would really prefer 3-hooks for comfort and to minimize cutting into my back.
Edit: I bought a red Rixie clip to tighten the band and it works awesomely! The Rixie clip is more of a classic red compared to the bright "Firecracker", but it matches well enough. I just bought the Iris Deco Honey and it's just as stunning of a color. Read more 109 more words
Best fit to date! I have smallish but not especially shallow boobs. The wires are the right length and sit in the right place, the cups don't gape or cause quad-boob. It's gives me a decent natural shape (not too pointy, although not quite as rounded as I would prefer). My boobs seem very uplifted and higher on my chest under clothing when compared to my old bras! The lace at the top of the cup lays a little bit oddly (not perfectly flat) because it is thinner and looser than the fabric on the rest of the cup, but it is not noticeable under clothing. The gore digs in a tiny bit, but isn't painful and probably due to my bad posture or something. The pattern of the fabric is beautiful https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Initially this bra seemed to fit perfectly, but after some wear it has turned into a prickly hell. The straps are placed to far apart for my frame, so they constantly rub on my underarms. I also think that the center gore may be to high because it also pokes. The under wire does not nestle at my breast line but hangs about an inch lower leaving extra space between where my bra ends and the wire begins. When my boobs are pulled forward they fill out the top but there is extra vertical fabric, if that makes any sense. The long waist band tends to ride up and fold in half, though it looks snug.
I won't exaggerate if I say that it's the best bra for deep necklines. Any other bra gives me such cleavge without additional padding. Deco is known for its generous cups and Deco Honey follow this tendency. I decided to go down a cup and a band size, as all Freya or Fauve 30 bands ar too loose for me. The 28 band is perfect even though it could be a bit more stretchy, it could not work on someone whose ribcage perimeter increases a lot while breathing. It's possibly due to the lace that covers the band. The cups run big, the bottom of the cup is rather shallow so that the breast tissue is pushed up to the edge of the cup which is very open. I like the new straps covered in a satin fabric - Freya's straps are very comfortable but not always so elegant! The bra is very comfy, all the fabrics are soft and it doesn't dig anywhere.
This bra fit so well and looked fantastic on! Plus I love the cute pink colour that it came in. I do think I need to size down in the band because I was wearing it on the tightest hook already, but they make it in a 28DD so I will be trying that one hopefully soon!
I purchased this bra because it fit me nicely and didn't show at the top of my shirts because it is not full coverage. After owning two of these bras for a while, I have learned some things. I think they stretch out quickly. The wire still feels tight around my rib cage, but the bra cups fold under my breasts and the band is loose around my back. The straps are wide, which I like in terms of support, but they stick out of everything I wear. Overall, I feel like I need more support when wearing this bra and because of the plunging aspect of the bra my chest feels jiggly and not well contained.
I'm still not sure whether to keep this or not. It fits great on my bigger breast, but there's gapping on both breasts, which is not visible under a shirt, and my smaller boob doesn't really fill its cup. The bra seems comfortable and looks really nice, although the peacock colour isn't as bright as I expected it to be from the pictures I had seen. It's more of a dark teal. The band isn't really tight compared to e.g. Cleo bands, but it's okay.
Well, trying on this bra made me wonder why I ever left the freya brand after pregnancy. (It was because of price, btw)Very comfy fit for my narrow, deep breasts. I am in between 32 and 34 band sizes and this fits pretty comfy. I did recieve this used and not new from listings here. The only thing is that I dont fill the cup on the bottom, so there is extra fabric, the top of the cup fits pretty nicely. I suspect I would be a 34 gg in freya, however this style would probably give me quad boob on my full on top boobs, if I go down a cup. So if you know your normal Freya size and are full on top, like me, you may want to go up a cup size.
This bra feels amazing on. It holds everything as it should and looks great under a T-shirt, I think I have finally found a bra that fits https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
All in all, however, the bra material is very comfortable and the straps are great, I just don't think the shape was quite right for me. The cups are too deep. My breasts do have a narrower root, but the underwires were still digging against my sternum and my breast tissue did not fill the cup entirely to the bottom.
The quality of the bra is excellent. The pattern is not really my style but it's fun and feminine. The material of the bra might seem flimsy but it's actually very strong and supportive. This bra, if it's the right shape for you, is a great buy. However, since this bra has been discontinued, it might be more difficult now to find it on the market.
Yeah! It fits! The sheerness is a little weird, just not used to it, but it's lovely.
Comfortable.
I have to go throttle my barking dog, I'll be back in a minute to write more. He's pitching a spoiled brat fit about being in his crate duri g the day.
Ok. Now that I've this bad boy for a while, it's comfy, doesn't shift, pull, pinch, bulge or give me quad bob.
Currently my most well fitting bra. Very comfortable and cute. I just wish that the fabric laid a bit flatter on the front. After a few washings the netted outer fabric has bunched up in places.
My second Deco Honey, when I was on my quest to own every Deco colour ever produced. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This Deco is red, which is my favourite colour, so I'm very happy to have been able to find one! The bra is beautiful and comfortable. I don't find it to fit any differently than any other Deco I own.
The only downside to this bra is that the band is a bit big. I will need to have it shortened, but for now I will be able to wear it on the tightest hook without it riding up too much.
I have this in both the strapless and the regular styles - this strapless is in black.
I prefer the fit of the regular Freya Deco (4234) s to the strapless style. The shape of the cup is a bit different, and I find the more plungy shape a bit more comfortable. Overall, it's a very similar fit to the Freya Deco Strapless (4233) , except for one thing - the velvet trim that is stitched across the top of the cup makes the cup a bit narrower at that point than the part of the cup distal to it from the wire. It sort ...of creates a bit of a quad-boob look, even if the top of the cup doesn't dig in and it fits in general.
I ordered this online, and they didn't have the next size up, so I can't experiment and see if it would fit me better. I don't think it would - I think it might swallow everything up and still leave that little indent along the velvet. I'd missed the return window by the time I could pick it up, so I'm hoping that it will loosen a bit with wears and washes.
As with any strapless, I suppose, the band on this bra is fairly tight. I don't find I have a lot of extra room on the middle hooks, but if my 32E Deco Strapless in nude is any indicator, I may have to take the band in after I wear it a few times. Read more 147 more words
This bra is so pretty! I have it in Charcoal, and it has green velvet and ribbon along the top of the cups.
I read some reviews that said that one should order up a cup size in the Taylor. I didn't find that to be the case - I think the cups fit (and are the same measurements) as any other Deco. I think that if you have top-heavy breasts, there might be more of a need to size up as the stitching along the top of the cup isn't flexible, so won't stretch with the rest of the cup, and might give a bit of a quad-boob.
I bought this when I was first fitted for a bra 'properly', and thought that I was a 32E. I will have to shorten the band on this bra to make it a perfect fit (my ribcage is 29").
I was really excited to get this bra! The pattern is so cute, and I really love the coral colour.
It fits similar to other Decos, in styling, I think it is most like the Freya Deco Honey (1254) . Unique to the Deco Flamingo is a stitched trim around the top of the cup. I really like this feature, as it seems to make the top of the cup lie flatter. It is stretchy, though, so if you have full on top breasts it will probably accommodate them better than the Freya Ashlee (1001)Freya Taylor (4971) , which both have tight stitching.
It fits, comfortably. My boobies don't have much to offer on top, so I do have the slightest bit of empty space at the very top of the cup where the strap attaches, so it doesn't really bother. First tried this one in a 30D but that was very much a wrong fit. Then ordered a 28F and FF; FF is too big in the cup but the F is just fine. And it looks great under clothes. I normally wear a 28F, many say to size down in the Deco; but that doesn't apply to my full-on-bottom breasts. Probably because I'd be wearing an FF normally if ...the same bottom-breasts had full tops as well.
Update: After a few weeks with it it has hardly any stretch. I'm a 'true' or 'small' 28; so there's no excessive strain on the band. I do imagine that the bra would stretch out faster if you have an underbust measuring under 28 in it; you're challenging the fabric more. On me (25.5in) it's in the 'comfortable' stretch zone of the fabric; 'hugging' me and after 2 months I'm still being hugged on the smallest hooks with no riding up. After trying a few other bras and wearing this one for a while I decided I like the Deco enough to let it be one of my 'go to' bras; that tiny bit of gape top I have left over doesn't bother at all; and the Deco is designed to give 'heavenly bosom' cleavage. I'll be getting my second one from another Bratabase user soon. Read more 157 more words
This is by far my favorite strapless bra. I've tried quite a few- Victoria Secret (their plunge strapless bras were fantastic when I was the equivalent of 32b-32c), Panache Porcelain (loose in the band, very thin cups, and shallow), Masquerade Tiffany (it's white, and not a plunge).
The band is firm and runs snug, unlike the regular deco. The cups are probably not quite as big as the regular deco plunge.
This bra does everything a good strapless should do- it has a good shape, it's supportive, and it doesn't budge at all. It's also not super high cut- it's pretty much the most "plunge" you can get in a 28 or 30.
The Deco appears to be a fabulous molded cup plunge bra, good for low cut tops and feeling sexy. The cups are made of soft foamy goodness with bow details at the straps (front), and between the cups. The overall construction appears to be solid and well-made. I wish it had three hooks in the back rather than two, but that's alright. The straps feel really soft, but not wimpy. They are attached to the back of the bra with a plastic round ring. The overall appearance is pretty basic. Aside from the bows, it's pretty plain.
I thought my poor soft boobs would fall right out the middle ...of this bra, but boy was I wrong. I absolutely love the cleavage and lift it gives me, and not to mention the feeling of confidence! I wore it to work today and I couldn't stop pulling my now poorly fitting shirt tighter around the bust to marvel at how wonderful my boobs look! Truthfully, this bra is a smidge too small for me (getting a teeny bit of spillage out the sides, but I'm not sure if that's just because I'm squishy or that it's small), and I'll be trying it in a 36FF next time, but the F cup will do perfectly for now. Can't wait to try this under some dresses and tank tops for summer! Read more 119 more words
