This bra came highly recommended for shallow shapes- but I was hesitant to try on such a padded bra. This bra made my full-on-bottom breasts appear pretty top heavy, even causing slight quadboobing once I properly scooped and swooped. I'm not convinced that it fits perfectly, but it does fit the best out of all the bras I've tried on thus far. The top of the gore lies flat, but the bottom does not, perhaps this is just a result of my weird concave sternum. I also tried on this bra in a 28F, but decided that even though the 28 band did manage to fit, my bony ribcage feels much more comfortable in a 30 band. For now, I think I'll be holding onto the 30E, as it is a great nude color, disappears under thin clothing and is much better than the 34Cs that I'd been wearing previously.
This review is for a black Freya Jolie in 28H - I also own a white Freya Jolie in 28GG. I ordered the black Jolie a cup size up from the other one, because dark/black bras tend to run a little bit smaller than white ones. I have since gone up in cup size, so the white does not fit perfectly anymore.
My first thought is "welcome to the shitty end of pattern grading". Even in the wrong size, the 28GG is a better overall fit than the the 28H - for unknown reasons, in the jump from GG-H, the cups become an inch wider, scamper up ...into my armpit, go from medium coverage to being exposed under EVERY top and develop a weird side-splayed shape.
The floral mesh is not the most attractive choice of fabric, but it is ever so soft and breathable. The cups run up a little bit high, the straps are gigantic and ugly, and there's out of place looking tiny flower details. This bra won't be winning any beauty contests but it is among the most comfortable bras I have ever owned. Read more 82 more words
Fabric is very nice, if a bit swimsuit like. Very lightly padded, enough to prevent nipple show through but not more than that. I do get a bit of quad boob in it, but I'm not entirely sure if that's a size or a shape thing.
What a shocker, I was expecting this bra to not fit. I bought it anyways to try just because I couldn't withhold my curiosity for this bra celebrity. I went for the Taylor because it is so cute! The stripes point the eyes to the cleavage. The bra is smooth under shirts, except maybe the top part because of the velvet detailing. I have narrow, shallow ( starts high), FOT, and close together boobs. This bra is usually not recommended for shallow breasts, but this bra works for me! There is no gapping anywhere, although I may need to size up because it is tight in the cups. ...Its just being masked because of how open the center is. Since the gore is low, it does not hurt at all. I think the wire is sitting on some of my tissue near the gore though, but that seems to happen with all my bras. The cleavage this bra gives me is phenomenal for a bra with no push up padding. Now I understand the hype over this bra. I think I will purchase in the other styles and colors now!! I heard that the Taylor runs smaller than the other decos so maybe I will have to try a 28 D? Read more 104 more words
Creates a lovely rounded shape for your boobs, and it feels very secure. However the cups come up far too high under your armpit (so much so that after prolonged wear it rubs) and the straps aren't the softest, and if you're feeling a little tender they can rub quite furiously.
I ordered a 28E in this because I read the cups in this bra are a little on the small side. It's slightly to big for me; There is a little bit of gaping in the top of the cup. The DD might be too small though.
The longline is absolutely stunning. It makes my figure look very good. It's a bit of a challenge getting all 6 hooks to close but it's well worth it.
This is probably my best-fitting bra, though still not perfect. The band is on the tightest hook and it still has too much room to stretch. The cups are nice, though it's oddly a little big for my right breast. Very pretty. Though sometimes is just feels uncomfortable, but I'm not sure if it's because I'm used to wearing too-loose of bands.
Edit: Apparently this bra's cup is still a bit small. r/ABraThatFits suggested a smaller band and bigger cup, so a 28F.
Very comfortable material for larger breasts ladies who want support, but not too much padding. It was the wrong size for me, but might work for others.
very comfortable fit. love that the back smooths out the back fat. Tiny bit too big on my smaller side. Overall I really like this bra. Definitely a style that works for me and I will look for more halfcups in the future.
The fabric does flip up on the bottom.. but that`s to be expected since I have fat there and it pushes the fabric up. It doesn`t bother me.
Not super thrilled about 2 rows of hooks. But I believe the newer styles have 3...
I tried this one on in the store, but didn't buy it. It fits me *pefectly*, it's a great bra, but I really disliked the ruffle with my body shape. I will definitely be buying one of the bras with the same cut.
This bra fits me great. The straps are a little too far to the outside of the cup for my taste, but I'm happy to overlook that because it fits so well everywhere else.
This bra is absolutely adorable. The print plus green and fuschia accents are simultaneously energetic and subtle. The material feels very nice against the skin.
The band ran truer to size than for most Freya bras I have tried, but I couldn't tell if the cups did or not because of severe shape incompatibility. The cups were way too narrow towards the apex, so I had extra space at the side seam where the upper cup panel meets the side support sling while the upper cup panel flattened out my breast pushed my tissue towards my body. This simultaneously pushed the cups away and crowded my cleavage so that the gore could not tack.
I think someone with wider set breasts and perhaps a more conical shape would do much better in this bra. I don't think it was a matter of upper versus lower fullness because I have compression AND empty space in the upper cape; it's purely a shape issue. Despite these problems the bra is exceptionally comfortable to wear.
