This bra is adorable, but I have some problems with it. The wires are too narrow for me, which is just a problem I have with most Freyas. The scalloped lace around the band took several washes to become soft enough not to irritate my skin, which is not a problem I usually have with lace. The lace folds up strangely to taper at the clasp, so I think it aggravates the discomfort. Dispute the issues, it offers great support and stability and the design makes it a pretty--but not boring--basic, everyday bra.
This bra is gorgeous and I love it. I was offered a 34FF in a swap and I took it (and it fits) even though I reallllly need a 32G. I'm hooking it on the middle hook and I just got it (it was NWT, so not stretched out). The gore also slightly does not tack. It's pretty close though, so I'm going to wear this bra https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Originally had this in a 32GG but the cups were too big and the gore wasn't quite right so I swapped it. I came across this 34FF and the cups and gore are perfect but the band is too loose, I have it on the middle hook and I just bought it. It was too pretty to pass up, even though I really need it in a 32G.
Although I think this is showing as "doesn't fit" I think it's the best so far. The one big dealbreaker on all the bras I've tried thus far has been the straps and cups digging into my armpit / pecs. I'm still working the best shapes for me. This works the best because the section between the where strap meets the cup and the top of the underwire is lower than on my other bras. I only wish the straps were more centered. I also don't *quite* fill it but it looks okay under a shirt.
I absolutely LOVED this bra when I first seen it, so when I found it in a size that MAY fit me on eBay for a reasonable price, I had to buy it! I don't think it fits me perfectly, not even okay, but it is not unwearable!
Design - The design is beautiful, and it is what attracted me to it! I always wanted a longline bra so when I discovered this, I was in love. Though, it is not cheap, so I was reluctant to purchase it not knowing at all what size I could be!
Cups - The cups are very soft and comfortable! Even though it ...is padded, I wouldn't say so. It is definitely more of a thickly lined bra as it doesn't at all hold its own shape if there are no breasts in it!
Wires - The wires are a nice length, I'd say they would be good for those with long or short torsos as they are sort of a neutral length! They are very comfy and do not dig in! Though, they rub my sternum a bit but I get this with nearly all bras! I also think they are slightly too wide for me personally.
Band - It is quite stretchy so I think you could get away with dropping a band size if you want it more snug, which I think is a good idea with a longline! I'd say it is probably a bit more stretchy than a 30 band should be, but that's my opinion (bare in mind I'm more of a 28 back).
Straps - These are nice and wide which I like, and are fully adjustable! It would be nicer if the pattern extended onto these though!
Overall, I think this is a great bra and gives a nice uplifted rounded shape for those with slightly sagging (I've had a baby), bottom heavy boobs!
P.s. This is my first Freya and I'm new to the correct bra size thing! Read more 219 more words
The width on the wires of this bra are perfect for my wide-set breasts, and the top of the cup is a perfect fit, however, the bottom of the cup is quite shallow, which does cause my band to feel a teeny bit snugger than I would like. The material is even more adorable in person than it is in pictures. The shape this bra gives is also phenomenal. GREAT lift, and a very round shape.
The are are only a real complaints.
1. From what I have seen in other reviews I am not alone on this; but the lack of boning in the longline causes the bottom of it to constantly roll up. This is pretty annying. 2. The wires are shorter than I'd like, so there is a little bit of side boob escaping.
Overall, the fit isn't perfect, but it's close enough that I'm willing to deal with the issues for the simply fact that this bra is seriously the more adorable thing ever.
I am terribly disappointed that this bra didn't work out for me, as I wanted it so badly. However, it seems to run almost a full cup size too big, and is cut much shallower at the bottom, but bigger and more open at the top than the Just Flew In longline. I ordered the Just Flew In in the same size and it fit completely different.
Since the cups are so wide at the top the straps are also very wide-set, which didn't work for me. Also the band is VERY stretchy. The band on the 36 measures a full 39-39.5 when stretched. It really is a darling bra though, so I would recommend sizing down in the cup, and possibly also the band.
This is bra is so very pretty. I initially had doubts about the whole orange and black and teal thing, but this is gorgeous. I first tried this on in a shop in 32HH. The volume seemed okay-ish, but the band was too loose, so we tried a 30 - the shop didn't have a J, sadly. So I ordered it off Bravissimo. 30 band is on the spot, at least, this band is pretty loose. Now, I'm in doubt if I really need a sliightly larger cup size or not, at least on my left breast (the larger). The cup wrinkles slightly in a spot above my nipples, but is otherwise well filled. My breasts are close-set, and the gore tacks sort of but not entirely, that's what has me in doubt. The straps are wide, but have this scratchy edging. Aside from that it's a pretty good bra. And so pretty!
So I only just received this bra today. Unfortunately, my breasts are asymmetrical so one of them fits perfectly in the cups while the other one bulges out a bit. The bra is very beautiful, comfortable so far and, unlike regular Freya bras which are pointed, creates a nice round and perky shape. I am waiting to see if I will keep, return, swap or sell this bra. Maybe if I can track down an 28E in my hometown, I can get a better idea for which size fits me best. Most of my Freya bras squish my left boob a little bit, so I would say this is true to Freya sizing.
All I know for sure is that I will be keeping my eyes peeled for more longline bras from Freya in the future!
Tried it on, pulled tight, had it altered to somewhere between a 28 and 30 band. Somehow the cup is a tiny bit too small anyway, it will do on my 'small boob days' but the real problem is: the band still stretches out and rides up.
The good... Has round, smooth cups so it gives a nice appearance under almost any clothes. Some bras seem to have higher gores in higher cup sizes but this has a nice low center. The straps stay put and have a good amount of stretch. The band has a very firm stretch, gives good support and stays put.
The bad... This bra feels tighter than some, like I need to break it in. I didn't like the amount of side boob this bra gave the appearance of in clothing, it made me look more wide in the upper torso than other bras do. So I took ...in the upper center gore to pull some of that in. There isn't much fabric there to work with, the gore is pretty slim, but it did improve the appearance significantly. Also, the cups are not padded but they are thick enough that I wish there were lace or mesh at the edges because in thinner shirts the top of the cup shows pretty bad.
Overall this is a well made, supportive bra that is almost plunge-y enough for cleavage (on some it probably works great for that!). Read more 89 more words
This is a gorgeous bra from Freya in a plunge style. It isn't as plunging as their Deco so suitable for those who prefer a more balcony or half cup style.
The fabric is very soft with a modern tattoo design print with embroidered mesh to the upper section of the cups. Colours are white, pink and black.
I am usually a 28H in Freya though wear a 28GG in Deco however I feel this 28H is tighter than I like to wear. Those who a more a 26 or 28 band would like this one (I measure 29"). The band is tight and the central gore doesn't lay flat for me but that's purely because I have a close set bust which needs a plunge to be lower than this.
I got this bra because I had read that it was shallow and wide, which is true. However I get huge gaps of empty space in the center, right next to the gore on each side. As well as gaping at the top. So this shape just wasn't for me, unfortunately.
When I found this bra on /r/braswap I didn't realize it was an unlined cup. If I had, I might not have decided to get this bra, and I'm really glad I have it. The fit isn't perfect for me; I get a little bit of rocket boobs in it. Its still very comfy though. I've always avoided unlined bras because they've always been itchy. The material the Nieve is made from is nothing like those unlined bras I've encountered before, its very soft and silky.
Like I said before, this isn't the perfect bra for me shape wise, but I find it perfect for wearing while running errands, lounging about or doing household tasks. Its light and breathable. The band is also pretty stretchy, which isn't normally a good thing, but I find the extra stretch helps the bra move with me while I'm cleaning and such. I'm glad I wasn't paying attention to the fact this was an unlined bra because I'm happy to have it in my rotation.
A+. Love this bra. Cups seemed big when I got it, but fit amazingly. I even get a little cleavage! (just a little though) The only downside is that the band is too stretchy and rides up even on the tightest hook. I'll need to get a rixie clip for this bra, but that won't stop me from wearing my new favorite bra...
For my bra review in detail please see my originally review for size 28GG, review found here: http://bra.pe/RBpj/
The back-band fits quite well, fitting just like the 28GG. However the cups on this bra are too big for me. I seem to be in between a GG and an H cup. Much like the 28GG this bra gives me “torpedo” boobs. This bra is just not for me in any size. Sadly this will have to be returned. It’s a shame. The material is very comfortable, and I love the print.
I have close set breasts which are shallow with a wide root. I am also full on bottom. I had read this bra is a good test if you are not sure you are full on bottom, and I definitely am! It gaps at the top of the cup if my shoulders aren't set perfectly back, despite my breasts being large enough for the cups. The wires on this bra are too narrow for my breasts and I have tissue escaping at the armpits, but I cannot size up due to the top gapping. The gore is low enough that it is not uncomfortable.
Such a nice looking bra
