I wasn't expecting this to fit as I have tried on a few 30DD recently in similar styles - namely the Freya Deco & Deco Honey which had too narrow a cup for me (so I could feel the outer underwire digging in to breast tissue under my arm) and too round/deep a shape - so I had some cup gapeage at the top and almost too much bra over the top area of my bottom heavy boobs! I tried it on halfheartedly only to find not that it was stunning but actually fitted pretty perfectly, shocker! The cup shape is not as large/full coverage as ...I found the Deco to be - it's more like a normal plunge/half shape meaning I fill the cup perfectly without doubleboobing or having empty space (like I do with Deco).
I ordered this online in the irrestible Charcoal/Teal colourway, soooo gorgeous! Plain and smooth but with enough detail for it to be special. Ideally I would have liked to try 30E also (as this is what I seem to be in the Freya halfcup styles) but this wasn't available to order...fingers crossed it stands the test of time and is comfortable. This bra is a great basic. I took a gamble on it, not knowing really if it would fit or not, especially with this being my first bra in a 28E. I have to say, it fits wonderfully! The wires are the closest I've gotten to a perfect width yet, and come up plenty high under the arms. No cleavage, thanks to the shape of the cups, but even without being a molded cup, I think this will be a good option as a t-shirt bra in the summertime - It gives a nice, rounded-natural shape under clothing and is very comfortable. I was a little apprehensive about the band only having one row of hooks, but it feels quite secure, even on the loosest hooks.
Good: A very very pretty bra. I love the colours, and it fits perfectly. Unfortunately, I can fasten it on the tightest hooks already, which means that I will probably have to alter it soon. The straps feel like velvet, are are slightly narrower than the straps on my other Freyas.
I really like this bra. It fits well, and the band feels a bit tighter than the other Decos I have. The cups are also a slightly different shape, I guess because it is a strapless bra. The come up a little higher on the side, towards the armpit.
It feels like it stays up pretty well without the straps, which is something that I have never found in a strapless bra before.
Good: Soooo pretty. It is also very comfortable. The cups are soft, and they feel very secure. The band is also snugger than other 32s, probably because it is so wide. I can wear it on the loosest hooks.
Bad: The lace at the top of the cup is not so stretchy, so it digs in just a tiny bit. Not enough that I think I would go up in size, but a little.
The band in this bra runs very tight, I couldnĀ“t get it hooked! Or I did once, but it was too tight and then the bra would sit too low. My usual size is 28F and my ribcage is about 27 inches, but in this model I would need 30.
I will continue this when I get an extender...
EDIT. With an extender this bra is actually very good https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> I find the cups to be true to size and they seem to fit me very well.
I think this bra gives a great shape and the band is really comfortable. If I can get rid of the quadboob effect even with my soft boobs I think it will be a great plunge for me.
Grabbed this NWOT off of ebay, and aside from one of the cups being a little out of shape, it's just great. I had needed just a plain nude t-shirt bra and this does the trick. The plunge might be a little low for me, I fall towards the center, but it's not too much https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This is a great everyday t shirt bra. It is very supportive for a plunge and lies smoothly undershirts. It's also very comfortable! It's too loose in the band but unfortunately I can't go down a band size because I wear the highest cup size in this bra. I get a lot of quadboob in the nude color, and not as much in the charcoal and black. I have quite a bit of side spillage in all of the colors though. Despite the imperfect fit, I wear my decos almost every day.
Fits small in the cup, I needed to size up to a 28E. The straps are fully adjustable which I really liked. Has quite a bit of push-up padding. It's not too overwhelming, and certainly not as much as a lot of VS and La Senza bras, but if you don't like a padded bra, this is not for you. Gives a really nice pushed-up rounded shape with good cleavage.
I love the style of this bra, and it looks great. I haven't had good luck with Freya, but I really wanted this one. The wires are unfortunately too narrow for me, and I really need a 28 band anyway. This bra is evenly padded, and does not have push-up padding. Gives a nicely rounded, projected shape.
first words: finally got my first longline. i thought i was a 30F, but it showed up on ebay in 30FF so that's what i got. i'm glad i did because big bertha seems to fill out the cup just about perfectly, though the wires are a bit too wide. i'm coming to the conclusion that i really do need to go up to a 30FF in most of my bras. i've been afraid of padded bras because i wasn't sure if the padding would alter the fit, but the padding is very minimal; seems more like a lining than anything else.
appearance: the vertical seams provide a ...nice lift and rounded side profile, which i like. the major draw of the longline imo, a smooth back profile, is something i could get used to. i infinitely prefer the pattern on the edina to the other freya longlines. though it IS a floral print, the black and white and the not-quite-traditional flowers chosen for the pattern make it look more like an old map to me. i seem to be in the minority in that regard, though. a little worried that it'll start looking dingy, since there's a lot of white.
fit: when i slouch, the bottom flips up a bit in the front, and it can get a wrinkle or two as well. i'm sure the boning in the sadie prevents that, but i'm not sure if it would affect the comfort or not. there's one small wrinkle toward the outside of the cup on the bottom on my larger side, and i'm not exactly sure how to interpret that. slight gap at the top of the cup on the smaller side. i'm not used to this much compression, but i'm sure i'll get used to it. it's certainly not uncomfortable - kinda like an all-day hug. i feel like someone else is holding me up.
impression: overall, favorable. Read more 212 more words
