First of all, this bra is gorgeous. Not only is the ethereal flower print beautiful, but it has a bit of a blurred watercolor effect which makes it seem almost hand-painted. The band is edged with tiny delicate lace (which the hooks can catch on, so be careful) that is small enough to not stick out strangely as Freya band trims tend to do sometimes. The lace at the top of the cup has a line of non-elastic plastic at the top to keep it strong. The band is nice and snug (whoo) and the straps appear to be fully adjustable. Both the gore and wings are about ...average height, which is actually a bit lower than I'd like. The wires are just about perfect!
The fit of the cups is kind of weird. It definitely feels like they're trying very hard to bring my sideboob to the front, except I actually don't have much sideboob in the first place so it's kind of wrinkly and sad there, and leaves my tail of Spence just hangin out. A side effect of this is that on the sides near the armpit, there is extra cup-edge elastic folding up, which is really bizarre to me. There also isn't that much immediate projection - this bra saves all the projection for up top, where I have basically no tissue. It seems as if the apex is really high, a full inch away from my nipple. There's also a lot of gaping in the center, even though I'm fairly close-set and have some inner fullness. Weirdest of all, The top lace section gaps considerably in the center, even when adjacent areas are filled out. Even so, the rest of the lace lines up with my tallish roots well! they sit happily on them without quadding or gaping. I'm guessing that this is a product of the FoT nature of this bra?
I got this mainly because I see people who say they need to size up for molded cups from their size in unlined cups, and my train of logic was "then I should maybe size down for unlined cups." Well, every time I size down in cup I get quadboob, and this bra was no different. The cups were too small.
The wires on this were not at all uncomfortable, which is quite the puzzle since the wires on the 28DD poked me all over and they're basically the same. Nearly identical width, same gore height, almost the same wing height. But this one didn't press uncomfortably against my ...sternum nor against my side, despite being too narrow.
The main problem with this bra was the cups. I got quadboob, and oddly enough, the cups acted like they were too closed on top and wrinkled at the top as well. I guess it wasn't open on top enough to accommodate larger sizes.
The band was the same as the 28DD, a bit too long. The straps were fine.
The bra is still good for shallow, FOT breasts, and in this size range, probably wide roots too. Read more 88 more words
band was too loose, but the cups felt okay. i didn't want to keep it though. the design felt quite plain and boring, even for me who prefers basic molded bras. the uneven gaping along the top of the cup made the bra feel quite cheap despite the price.
So there's a little wrinkle but it fits close enough for me! As usual my right breast barely fills out on top. I think the straps are a little awkward for my shape but it doesn't bother me. The band is a little loose so I think I'll be on the second hook soon. The material is so lovely, with little bow details and the soft pink colors. Overall though it's my second bra that fits (enough) so I'm happy!!
I got this with the Freya Piper Balcony on eBay,both have the same fit issues ( wrinkle on top, sides not wide enough). I may have to get those slips to fill in my right cup,but I really hate to..I know it would annoy me or something. I'm glad to finally try out Freya though,if only they fit!
I just got this off eBay along with the Carys balcony bra, both my first time for Freya. I love the quality and look of the bra but it doesnt seem to fit right. It seems tight enough, like it would fit,but the top of the cup is wrinkled, mostly on the right. I guess I'll try to stick with half cups. The sides of the bra also don't seem wide enough to fit all of me in there. I really hate it because I love so many of these patterns by Freya but with the empty-top problem I don't think any of them will fit right, even though its so close!
*also, its not a plunge,as far as I know. On eBay it's listed as "new - Freya Piper Balcony bra",but for some reason the model in 28D wasn't an option on here.
I bought this bra on eBay after reading reviews saying that it was ideal for wide and shallow chests, and I have to agree! This bra fits true to size for me and is quite tight. My only fit issue is that I have some slight gaping on the inner part of the cups near the gore because my breasts are a little more wide-set, but other than that it is a perfect fit for me.
This is a plain nude bra with soft, molded cups. It captured all of my breast tissue on the sides, but did not work for my shallow breasts as there were gaps on the top of the cups. The band seemed a bit loose. There is light padding (non-removable) at the bottom of the cups.
The cups are very very shallow! Also the cups are hilariously huge on my tiny frame. My ideal size is 26D/DD so the cups are too tall/wide for me and gap at the top where I don't have much breast tissue. There is no center gore, so the front of the bra just floats above my sternum. Since the cups are so shallow, it doesn't seem like the bra would provide very much support for someone who's a true 28D. However, the bra itself is very comfortable.
Another issue for me is one of my breasts is half a cup smaller than the other, and it really shows in this bra where the center gore would be. On my smaller side, the cup doesn't get pushed out as far as my larger side, so the cups look uneven due to the lack of structure in the bra itself. Keep that in mind if you have uneven boobs like me.
Strange bra - maybe more suitable for someone shallower than I? It gave me a very flat shape, with my tissue pulled quite high on my chest. Band was loose, wires were wide, gore definitely not suitable for anyone who is not wide-set. Very pretty though.
This thing actually fits like a glove--expect for the loose band. With a 26" ribcage, I can only wear it on the tightest hook. But it is really comfortable! I compared them and the cups are almost the unpadded version of Cleo Juna (6461) 28DD. The wires are slightly narrower, but also stretchier, so the fit is almost the same with Juna, just one cup larger. The fabric is not itchy as some other people mentioned, but maybe it is because my skin is not sensitive to fabrics. Quality is just so-so, with lots of excessive threads, but still acceptable. Anyway, if the band had been tighter, it would be perfect. Hesitating whether to return it or not....
I'm not totally sure if this bra is the wrong cup size or the wrong style for me or both. I don't think this bra is suited for full on bottom or for boobs that do not lay naturally towards the center. The fabric is pretty thin and see-through.
This is a good bra if you are full on top, like me. I have to wear a 28DD in some bras due to the quad boob effect, which I don't get with this bra (a 28D).
Same as the Freya Lydia and Deco in 28DD it nearly fits but there's still space at the top of the cup. It just won't sit down. It still produces amazing cleavage. I'm unsure about the width (narrowness) of the cups, it may not be compatible with me. Great bra if you can get the top edge to lay flat.
I'm very center full with narrow roots. I'm more full on bottom, but generally need non-shallow bras that are more open on top to accommodate my center fullness.
This bra is technically my best fit, but it is extremely unflattering on me. The wires are actually narrow enough to sit in my IMF all the way around, and the center edge of the cup is tight, but doesn't noticably cut in. Something about the design of this bra seems to pull my breasts out and down, because I get a very pointy shape that I'm not a fan of.
I missed the mark on this one again. Band is too loose on me. Unstretched, the band length is about the same as my comfortable/snug measurement. This made the bra ride up in the back even clasped on the tightest hooks. The cups didn't sit in the right place on me because of this, and I had space in the bottom of the bra since it was sitting too low. I was also dealing with some quad-boob on top, and I believe this also made the bra not want to tack in the right location. I think I need more projection than this bra offers. I am learning ...I am more full on top than I initially realized.
Outside of my personal fit, I think this bra would work best for people with average or tall roots. The cups are wider than some other bras I've tried in a 28D and that's something to keep in mind as well. I loved the nude color, and this bra seems like it would be great if you are the type that doesn't like seams to show under clothing. Read more 78 more words
Hi! You might want to try Comexim, you can try their 26 bands through Breakout Bras. They’re returnable if they don’t work for you. I had the exact same issues with 28 bands, in fact, I might have had that same Freya in a 28D. It didn’t work for me either!
I have had no luck with Freya soft cups.
I do like their long line bras, if I can find the right size, w/o the bra being too small somewhere.
