Starting to collect all the decos since it fits the best out of all the bras I tried. The openness on top of the bra allows me to wear it even when I swell around that time of the month. Its very comfortable and works well under clothes. I do wish the straps were a bit thinner in this range though. Love this bra!
Since it's wireless, the gore won't lay flat, but it is a very comfortable and supportive bra. I know some wireless bras are constructed in a manner that lets the gore lay flat, but if you look at this one it really isn't possible. Had to say "yes, it lays flat" in my review, otherwise it was marked as not fitting.
Not as pretty as I'd like, but it does give nice lift and a pleasant round shape.
I tried a 30D in this first, and didn't get a good fit. This is a lot closer, and my larger breast seems to fill the cup pretty nicely. It just doesn't have that all around fit I'd like to see. The wing is a little scratchy on my occasional eczema, which I don't notice until I take the bra off. It is pretty supportive, and I still wear it on days to feel extra pretty. However, it doesn't make me feel good enough to be a go to bra more often. It does give nice lift. The profile is pointy compared to my other bras, but not in an torpedo way. It looks great under sweaters and thicker shirts, and it brings everything around front like it should.
Fits better a few pounds heaver now, but my smaller breast still leaves a few wrinkles in the cup. If I tuck a thin pad in, it looks great.
Love the shape of this, but might need to go up to a 28E. This is the shape I've been looking for in other bras. Nice cleavage with round shape. Great for my fuller on the bottom breasts. Wish it came in more colors and a prettier fabric. Had such hit and miss with trying the plunge deco style, I was really hesitant to try this one. However, I'm glad I did. I'll need to decide if I keep it or send it back.
Okay, after trying it on and not rushing, letting the straps out a bit more did the trick. This is it! Finally a bra that really seems to fit and make me look like I'd like to look.
I tried this on at Nordstrom's twice. I can't tell if it was too small, too big, or just all wrong. (Well, it was definitely all wrong...) The cups were too tall and kept looking like they were going to gap, but I'm still not sure if they actually did. They didn't have an E to compare, so I don't know whether I needed to go up a cup size or it was just that the underwires were too narrow. Either way, it felt like my boobs were trying to escape out the sides.
This did actually manage to give me decent cleavage, which I did not know was possible.
This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn! I've been buying and returning bras for MONTHS trying to find both the right size, and one without painful underwires. The 28DD fits me like a glove, provides a lovely rounded shape, and the straps don't slip. I could wear this bra 24/7 without discomfort. Now if it only came in more than 2 colors...
Even though bratabase says this bra doesn't fit b/c the center gore doesn't lie flat, I absolutely think this bra fits and that it not lying flat is a function of it being wireless. I will try to post specific photos of this later.
Best fit to date! I have smallish but not especially shallow boobs. The wires are the right length and sit in the right place, the cups don't gape or cause quad-boob. It's gives me a decent natural shape (not too pointy, although not quite as rounded as I would prefer). My boobs seem very uplifted and higher on my chest under clothing when compared to my old bras! The lace at the top of the cup lays a little bit oddly (not perfectly flat) because it is thinner and looser than the fabric on the rest of the cup, but it is not noticeable under clothing. The gore digs in a tiny bit, but isn't painful and probably due to my bad posture or something. The pattern of the fabric is beautiful https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
Good, sturdy plunge from Freya. Cup fit well when I first bought it, now there's a little slackness and wrinkling. This is not unusual, I've found, for Freya bras. Straps and band still seem quite firm. One thing I would say is that the straps on this bra seem a little more wide set than most - they tend to slip off my shoulders a little too easily, although this may be a problem particular to my shape as I tend to get this problem more frequently with wide set straps. Having wide set breasts, I actually find these kind of straps unhelpful, as they tend to be pushed further to the side than they normally would be. The bows on the straps, whilst pretty, I do find mildly annoying under clothes.
Love, love, love this bra. Simply the most beautiful bra Freya bra I own. That, coupled with the fact that it's definitely on the impractical side of things (i.e. thin, delicate, not to be worn under the everyday t-shirt/smooth clothing), it's testament to the all-round greatness of the bra that it's on been on such heavy rotation for a while now that it's not looking so fresh and pretty as when I first bought it anymore https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The cups fit me (smallish for my size, wider in the middle, less on top) very, very well. No gape or wrinkle. The band and straps still fit well considering how frequently I wear it. This is one of those bras you want to save for special occasions but end up wearing all the time because it's so damn sweet and makes you feel great.
Wore this to death when I first got it. Perfect fit in the cup, also very soft, so comfy whilst being supportive and snug. It's just about thick enough for regular wear, but not thick enough to cover cold nipples..! Something about the quiet print makes it look very delicate and pretty for a simple bra.
Got the black with white floral print, which is fading gradually but perhaps I just wore it too much in the beginning. Cup is a really great fit for me; only a tiny bit of gaping right now, none in the beginning (or wrinkles), and to be honest having had it for a year and a half it's probably coming to the end of its life anyway (as with other Freya bras the straps have loosened quite a bit).
Such a good, subtle colour combination on this one. The print itself however is a bit meh. I totally do not fill the cups, despite having the bra on rotation as one I regularly wear (strictly only under clothes where severe cup wrinkle will not show...). It is very pretty, and supportive, but it seems to me that I'm just not the right shape for the cup - the top of which fits flush to my skin, very little gaping at all, and the band nice and snug. Because of the excellent overall fit (it gently lifts in a way that other Freya balconettes don't) I had actually thought the wrinkle I was getting in the cups (really quite a lot of it compared to other, similar Freya styles I own) was some kind of ruched design..!
So, so pretty & fits like a dream. I have this in bubblegum pink & the colour is gorgeous. I don't normally fit well into plunge styles (being wider, less on top), and these cups are particularly high - but the top of the cup fits flush to the skin.
The band and straps are a good fit, too. I normally find Freya 28s a little loose, but this seems fine (so far, I should say - the bra is relatively new and I do find that Freya bras get much, much looser after wear compared to other brands). Just thought I'd submit a brief rave review for this great little bra, because although I love a lot of the pretty Freya styles (the plunge, lace-y styles I mean), the cups don't tend to be quite perfect on me, sometimes wrinkling or gaping a tiny bit at the top - but the Jolie is probably the best fit I've found with the brand.
This is the bra I was fitted with when I got properly measured as a 28DD a couple of years ago. The band support was initially great (especially as I measure up as a 26/27" ) but like other Freya bras I found it became elastically and loose very quickly. Same with the thick straps on this one - they had started unravelling to the point where I couldn't wear it after 6 months or so (maybe because I was adjusting them a little too much trying to compensate for the cup mis-fit..!).
Unfortunately the Freya Deco was not a great fit for me. The push up and ...cleavage, as has been frequently noted - is excellent, but like others with smaller cup sizes, I had trouble filling out the top of the cups (which come up very high) and once the band/straps got more loose, the cups really gaped to the point where it showed quite ridiculously under clothes. This is perhaps something particular to my size - I don't tend to fill out the top of cups very well, especially in plunge styles.
Having experimented with lots of other Freya styles since, I think it is the particular Deco style which doesn't work for my shape. I tried the Deco on again in store a few months back, but realised the cups were just too gape-y, and this is a problem that unfortunately would only be exacerbated when the straps become looser. Shame as it seems so popular & I would love to find something similar that fits well, cup-wise (i.e. something that can work as a t-shirt bra but at the same time look excellent with low cut/summer tops). I think this bra gives a great shape and the band is really comfortable. If I can get rid of the quadboob effect even with my soft boobs I think it will be a great plunge for me.
Fits small in the cup, I needed to size up to a 28E. The straps are fully adjustable which I really liked. Has quite a bit of push-up padding. It's not too overwhelming, and certainly not as much as a lot of VS and La Senza bras, but if you don't like a padded bra, this is not for you. Gives a really nice pushed-up rounded shape with good cleavage.
If your breast shape is like mine, DO NOT get this bra. It's too high and narrow for someone with wide, full-on-bottom breasts like mine. This would fit fabulously on someone with closer together breasts who have more breast tissue on top. The underwire is a bit tight, but it still needs to be broken into (although I've had it for 4 months, I've only worn it about 3 times). It's exactly 28" stretched out, which means it'll be a snug fit on the first set of hooks. Overall, a very sexy bra, just not the right shape for my breasts!
This bra is adorable, but I have some problems with it. The wires are too narrow for me, which is just a problem I have with most Freyas. The scalloped lace around the band took several washes to become soft enough not to irritate my skin, which is not a problem I usually have with lace. The lace folds up strangely to taper at the clasp, so I think it aggravates the discomfort. Dispute the issues, it offers great support and stability and the design makes it a pretty--but not boring--basic, everyday bra.
