I bought this bra on a whim. The colours just kept me coming back to drool. Now that I have it and have had it I really like it. Standard Freya sizing across the board.
I have gotten alot of wear from this bra but alas I've grown a cup. So soon I will hopefully be acquiring a 28E version. Yes I like it so much I'm getting another one to fit again!
This bra is based off the Arabella and it shows. This is the perfect bra shape/size for me. If you want more gushyness read my review for the Arabella.
I have the original pink and want all the colours... I need money!
Edit: This bra is now too small, got a 28E and still in love! <3
Do you find the the embroidery at the top of the cup shows its texture through clingy tops? I just got an Arabella and love it... but with that one caveat. The Lyla looks like it might be flatter -- do you find this to be the case?
Well for me I have no problems with the embroidery showing under thin shirts with the Lyla or the Arabella. The picture of the 28DD with the black shirt on is me and I'm wearing the same shirt with the pic of the Arabella in a 28DD as well. To me this shirt is nearly see through and very thin. I really can't say the embroidery on one or the other is thinner but I do think that the Lyla conceals a bit more since it doesn't have the stiffer ribbon type embroidery lining the edge of the top of the cup.
I hope this helps.
It does, thanks! I definitely do find my Arabella to show a "ribbed" texture through thin tight knits. Like you though, I find the seams completely flat and invisible through everything. Were it not for the embroidery, it would be like a t-shirt bra for me!

Another bra I will be replacing with a 28E since I've grown. This is a wonderful comfort bra. Band sizing is true to standard Freya however the cups do run a tad larger than normal. Not enough to size down a cup by any means though. It makes a great bra for that ToM when you need a little extra room.
Profile is slightly more round than the Lyla or Arabella. This is a great basic everyday bra.
Well, I grew a cup so now I get quad boob in this bra! Yeesh, two strapless bras and neither fit. Luckily the dresses I usually wear them with conceal this fact pretty well. If I had the money I would get another one in a cup up from this size but in reality I just don't use them enough to justify it. I'll keep on using until I'm so big my nipples pop out.
I usually hate moulded/padded cup but something about this one beckoned me. I just love it! The bad thing? I thought this bra was a tad small in the cup at first and found a 28E. Well at the time the 28E seemed to big so I sent it back! Wah! I now wish I had kept it because I can't find a 28E anywhere any more and I'm for sure that the cups on the 28DD are too small now. le sigh. Oh well, another bra for mega cleavage!
I love the houndstooth print, and it's pretty comfortable, but I'm having issues with the lace at the top of the cups. It cuts into and bunches up on my larger breast and wrinkles on my smaller breast. The rest of the cup fits perfectly fine on both breasts. I think that the lace comes up much too high for what is supposed to be a plunge bra. I also find that the underwire on the sides is a little bit too short. I'm fine if I stand perfectly still, but as soon as I move my arms, my armpit fat escapes. I may end up keeping it just because I love the houndstooth so much, but I really wish that the lace was less annoying and my armpit fat was kept inside the bra.
the colour looks more purple than in the photos, but nonetheless i think the bra looks really nice.
my first reaction on the bra was, oh god it's huge!! and the center-gore is really high... (in the ebay photo shows that it's plunge bra) so i thought it will be too huge on me...
but surprisingly it fits so well!! and the support is really good i never saw my breast so full and perky in my any other 28DD bras before. but it's more of a full cup bra than a plunge. the back band is kinda thick so it gathers back fat and armpit fat very well. not ...stretchy but i dunno how fast it will stretch out...
My only complain is that my nipples is slightly inner from the seam ( but i saw a lot ppl seems to have same problem), and the center-gore is wide, seperate my boobs a bit.
and it looks really seamless even when i wear thin and tight fitting clothes.
Update: This bra doesn't fit me anymore as my boobs grew out of it Read more 70 more words
I bought this bra to compare with the 28E size (see review here: http://bratabase.com/browse/freya/celia-4531/28E/). The fit between the two is very close. The bottom of the cups are almost identical but the tops of the 28DD cut into me. If you find that the 28E is too big at the top, but fine at the bottom, this size and model might work for you.
I like this bra. Although the band is quite long, it doesn't stretch much so it does stay put well. It comes up quite high on the chest and would not work with lower cut tops, at least on me.
It is comfortable, besides the cup being too tight. I did however do that on purpose to create more of a boost (I would not recommend that to anyone else, fit is most important). The band fits snugly but not too tight. The material is soft and smooth and the bra is of a sturdy construction. I may consider buying it a cup size larger, to review that one and its fit seeing as this may not be helpful to people of a similar size.
