This bra is brilliant. It is way better for me than the regular Deco in the same size, which gaped horribly at the top even though the underwires fit. This is my new favourite bra, everything fit perfectly the moment I put it on. Stayed put the whole day.
One con I can think of is that the "sticky" strips that prevent it from sliding everywhere might get a teeny bit uncomfortable by the end of the day. May not work for boobs which are fuller on top as the cups would cut into the breast tissue, but is fantastic for tear-shaped boobs.
Edit: I have some scars from where the silicone strips have rubbed against my skin after a whole day of wearing this bra, so that isn't fun. The skin there also gets kind of tender after long periods of wear. Might just be that my skin is sensitive, but it's something to keep in mind.
This is a bra which I waffled back n forth on getting. I finally took the chance because well I finally realised that I couldn't get on with the bras I had because I just had too much quad boob. I also finally gave in because this was a fashion colour and it was either get it now or be left with regrets as I search with failure especially since I buy sets, bra and knickers. If I can't find a matching bottom I won't buy the bra.
I'm so glad I got this bra! It is far prettier in person; pictures do not do the pattern justice. The ...band is sized in traditional Freya style and so are the cups. However, these cups do something different I haven't run across in a Freya bra before. This really gets the boobs up and out! I've read that some say the cups seem to run a bit big in this bra but I don't think so because the cup depth is running about standard in comparison to the Lyla/Arabella. These cups do have far more projection in them though. These cups really pull the side boob in and puts it front n centre. If you don't have the projection and/or boobs squishy enough to be positioned that way I can see how the cups would appear to run large.
Also the profile may not be widely liked. While I never found the Arabella to be pointy despite others claiming it was I can completely understand if others said this about this bra. Now I have pointy boobs to begin with so basically this bra creates my natural profile but pulled up and in front where they should be. In the end I don't mind the "pointedness" in fact I like it! It's the "my boobs but better" bra. ;D It still doesn't even come close to old skool bullet bra pointedness but it is by far not round in any way shape or form.
Also the fabric on these cups is quite stiff especially brand new. It calms down after a couple of washes but I still needed to wear the bra a few times for lengthy periods for the cups to really calm down and mould to me. Read more 267 more words
This is a lovely bra but sadly it didn't fit, I could get a pointer finger under the gore (going from top down) and the underwire cut into the sides of my breasts, it also gave me some "muffin" top.
I actually really like this bra although I find the cups a bit too "tall" for my shape. I fill out the cups completely everywhere except the top - not sure if this problem would be fixed by going down to 28DD.
Despite not being a perfect fit, this bra is comfortable and gives a nice shape.
I really would hate to be bothersome or sound rude. but I saw your pictures and I couldn't help but notice that the cups look a little small for you. Now you are a 28 band size, which means you are fairly small, but you seem to have some extra tissue under your arms, and I believe that it's breast tissue that simply doesn't fit into the cup. I think you would benefit from a cup or two larger.
I'm sorry for you, but you see what you want to see. :-) This bra fit me. I like when bra is tight in band, that's all. I have just fat tissue under my arms, is not boobs tissue. So thank you for your opinions, but you are wrong. Best regards
Hm, I don't appreciate the tone that you replied to me in. If you weren't open to seeing what other's might think, then this might not be the site for you. I like when the band is tight as well, which is why I'm a 28, but I have absolutely no fat underneath my arms, so I doubt you do as well. I would appreciate if you reworded your reply, instead of coming off rudely like the way you did.
This bra claims to be padded, but is NOT padded in the slightest. Its odd shape coupled with its lack of padding left it with no support. As far as I can tell, this bra might work for someone with torpedo boobs, but close-set round boobs had quad-boob on top and didn't fill the bottom of the cups. Had the bra actually been padded as the name implies, it might have worked.
The bra is white, covered in small green, purple and aqua flowers. The band has a mesh fabric whereas the cups do not, although the flower pattern is on the band as well. The top panel of the cups is made of aqua coloured lace which I find really pretty.
Fit:
This bra gives a nice natural shape. The band is nice a firm, and the cups fit snuggly. There's some wrinkling at the top of the cups but I think going down a size would be too small, since it fits fine everywhere else. I would say that this bra is the Freya Jolie in a different fabric, since the fit for me feels almost identical.
i think i am too FOT and center full for this bra which is a shame because it is so, so pretty. the gore is too wide for me and the cups too narrow by about a quarter inch at this size, but i suspect if i went to 28f i would have more shape problems because i can't fill out the sides. the cup is too closed up top, cutting into the top of my boob, yet has wrinkles on the sides.
I ordered this size in error - I usually wear 28 FF or 30 F. I was pleasantly surprised that it is a *perfect* T-shirt bra for my FoT, soft, asymmetrical breasts. I never use the front detail straps, but some may like them.
It is comfortable, supportive, & gives great cleavage. I just received a 28 F in black & found the fit similar. I had to shorten the strap on my smaller side a smidge.
Update: I *know* this bra is not a good fit. I should try it in my calculator size. Regardless, I wore it today for 10+ hours and decided to update the measurements & add photos.
It was again comfortable, except for some irritation under the strap on my smaller side at hour 9. The quadding on my larger side wasn't notable under a cashmere sweater (I checked in mirrors several times).
I LOVE the color. I reach for this bra over the better-fitting 28F. Still, I need to try a 28FF or 30F someday.
This bra was a bit too projected for me in the 28E, so I think I'll try it in the 28DD. Wires run narrower than other Freyas I've reviewed, so it's closer to fitting than others. It's very pretty and soft as well.
This cup is just too big, nothing else I can say about it. 28DD is next next on the list to try. I really like the smugness of the band, it's tight but comfortable. It'll stretch out well.
I consider this bra a fit. It doesn't tack all the way and the wires are a bit wide, but its hard for me to find a bra without these issues. I'm FOT and center full with close set breasts. The gore is just a bit wide for me and the band a little loose for a 28. But the tightest hook works.
Edit: my implants settled just a bit more and bumped me up a size so this bra is too small in the cups now.
This bra is so pretty. I'm disappointed it doesn't fit. The cups are too shallow and the gore is floating pretty bad. It doesn't cut into top tissue but does give a weird shape too.
Really cute style, but this size was way off for me. I am going to try the cup size up (28F), hoping it fits better. But I’m worried this model might Not be ideal for my slightly full on top shape - the high apex cuts into upper breast tissue.
