As with most Freya bras, the band runs big and I have to use the second set of hooks to fasten it. I should use the third set of hooks but I do not want to stretch the band too quickly (I want to keep this bra as long as possible since Freya doesn't seem to be inclined to give us more Deco half-cups in pretty colors).
Everything else is perfect. One of my favorite bras.
Such a pretty colour, but the cup size was way to big for me. Also, the fit doesn't seem very well, the top of the cups wrinkle a lot, especially once I bend over you can totally look at everything.
This is my favorite and best fitting bra. I've owned it for a while, so the band may have stretched out. A 30 band is more comfortable in most other bras for me. The mesh fabric on the sides and back is very stretchy. Many other bras I try have straps that are too wide-set, but this one is perfect. It is also very supportive and makes my boobs look good.
My impression is: This bra runs small in the cups compared to other Freya halfcups and longline bras. The cup measurements of the 28F are similar to the Freya Ingrid Padded Half Cup (4453) in 30DD. I compared them side-by-side and they have the same size.
The band runs tighter than expected in Freya. I had 30 bands that stretched out too quickly and ended up giving no support at all, so I went for a 28 in this bra. Not the best idea. I can close it, but it feels uncomfortable and restricting after a while. It didn't stretch out much with wear either.
I tried a 30E (see 30E - Freya ยป Just Flew In Padded Longline Bra (1393)). First of all, the wider band fixed the problem of wires digging painfully into my sternum. Such a relief! It fit much more comfortably and still gave proper support.
To me, the rule "size down in the band in Freya" doesn't prove true for their longline bras after all.
I had heard that Freya Ashlee (1001) and Freya Taylor (4971) ran smaller than Freya Deco (4234) . Having tried the Deco and finding it either too large in 28F or too small in 28E, I wanted to see if Ashlee would work for me.
Since I have shallow, wide rooted boobs, plunges generally do not work for me. Overall, the Ashlee is an improvement from the Deco. Still, I find that the cups could be a little wider and the gore a bit narrower. I'm not sure how I feel about the cups. After scooping and swooping, I fill the cups fine. However, if I move my shoulders forward, there's a bit of a gap at the top.
Design-wise, I like the Ashlee. It has some nice ribbon and lace embellishments that look fine under a fitted top. I do wish the straps were more comfortable. They are a good thickness, but not very soft or stretchy.
Hello cleavage! A bra for when you want to get noticed... The regular deco had too tall cups for me, but this has lower cups so it's a better fit. Actually the cups are a bit too low under the arm and the gore is a bit too wide but I don't mind because cleavage https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
This bra is very pretty. I love the little gray-ish bows on the gore and straps. When held up to the light it is definitely sheer, but that isn't very noticeable when it's on (at least for me because I have tanner skin). I can wear the band on the tightest hooks, but that's too be expected because I measure ~25.75" snug and 24" BTT. The cups too closed of in the center (I am full in the center as well as full on top) and/or too small. I can't tell exactly which or whether it's a combination, but I definitely have some spillover. It gives a little bit of a pointy shape as well.
This bra feels too small on lower half of cups and is baggy on top part of cups. I am FOB and shallow. I have a short torso so it seems like the cups come up too high.
I quadboob more now than I did when I first got this bra and get less wrinkling (it only happens when I haven't scooped and swooped in a while), but I would get simultaneous quadboobing and wrinkling. I think that is because they lace in the center is closed off, but I have more center fullness. When I pull in a tiny bit of fabric in the center, it seems to mostly fix the problem because it pulls it over my apex/fullness instead of letting it slide to the outside. It's also a little bit too wide, although not uncomfortably so. However, I like the bottom projection, and ...it is also quite pretty (in my opinion https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />). I really like the buttons on the center and the bows (which don't look like traditional bows) on the straps/ The band is firmer than some of my others but I could wear it on the tightest hook right away. I sometimes prefer to wear it on the second because the top and bottom with edges of the band cut in a little too much after a while even though the mesh-y main section feels a little stretchy. Also, the wires tend to hurt after a while. I think I need to bend them to be more rounded.
I am not quite full enough on the top to fill the bra out, however, it fits wonderfully everywhere else. Was comfortable wearing while and work and constantly changing position, it did not shift on me at all.
I really love this bra. It's comfortable and doesn't show under clothes, even the thinnest t-shirts. It's also the only bra I have found to give me the "cakes on a plate" look. It fits like a 30F.
This bra is a slight bit too small for me in the cups but I feel that this is mainly because the band is too tight so it squeezes my boobs back too tightly.. If I put an extender on the band it fits perfectly, although the silicone irritates my skin sometimes. There is no digging of underwires or the center gore or itching, and I like the shape (I seem to remember that it was a little weird when I first got it, but it soon molded to my shape.) I figured when I got it that the band would stretch out soon enough but amazingly it feels exactly the same after about 6 months.
I've tried the regular Deco a couple of times and it didn't fit my shallow boobs. The halfcup has padding, which I don't really like. I have two of these and will probably end up selling one.

This bra has slight push-up padding in it and I think it is small in the cups compared to the regular deco. I can't quite fill out the regular deco in a 28F yet I do have some slight overspill in this bra directly after scooping and swooping, though this settles down and it fits quite well. It isn't the best bra for my shape (FOB) and the centre gore doesn't lie flat. I think the band is slightly stretchier than the regular deco and it is a little larger than I would like on my 26 inch rib cage. However, I expected this. This is not really ...an everyday bra for me but is great when I want some extra cleavage.
EDIT: Now that I've gone back on the pill and my boobs have grown, this bra is small enough to pretty much be unwearable. I've added some more pictures showing how it fits now. It's worse than it looks - in these photos I've stuffed my nipples back in after swooping and scooping! My size is definitely now more like a 28FF, and this bra runs small as well so it's no wonder it doesn't work for me. Read more 93 more words
I really want the Deco to fit, because it's such a nice bra and it gives such a nice shape, but I have problems with it continually gapping at the top, but quadboobing kind of otherwise, and I can't tell if it'll be better up a cup (Guess I can find out soon when I get my 28FF though). Will update this review when I can.
I have the Freya Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232), and I heard that the Ashlee was a slightly smaller version of it. I love my Deco Half Cup, but it does have a gap before scooping and swooping. It fits like a dream after scooping and swooping, but as the day goes on, my boobs unscoop and unswoop themselves. So, I hoped that the Ashlee would work better for me.
Like the Deco Half Cup, the Ashlee works pretty well for my wide rooted, shallow boobs. I do find that it is a little smaller than the Deco Half Cup. Unlike the Deco Half Cup, after scooping and swooping, there is a little quad boob. I think I would like it more if it didn't have the pushup padding. I'm am happy enough with just the moulded cups.
Such a beautiful true red color! Such nice little details on a smooth t-shirt bra! Such nice rounded shape!
Unfortunately, this bra is all wrong for me. The cups are too tall in the center for my short, shallow boobs. The underwires are too narrow for my broad roots.
After reading about the fantastic cleavage and shape that this bra gives, I had to buy it. Unfortunately, I did not get any epic cleavage. This bra is not at all compatible with my broad, shallow breasts. My boobs constantly escaped out of the sides of the cups even with swooping and scooping throughout the day. At the same time, even though the cups were way too narrow, I got no cleavage because the cups are too "tall" for me and come up way higher in the center than my breast tissue does.
Too bad, because for a simple t-shirt bra, it's beautiful and does give a very pretty rounded shape. It's just not for me.
The first strapless bra that actually fit and didn't give me quadboob! However, my left breast is smaller than my right and I got a folding in the bottom of the left cup where I didn't fill it completely. I only had this bra a couple of months before I migrated into the next cup sizehttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
The band is extremely firm and becomes a bit uncomfortable after more than 5 or 6 hours of wear. I'm sure with time the band would stretch out and become more comfortable, but before I had the bra long enough to get comfortable in it, my breasts grew and the cups became too small.
