Very nice material. I wish the wires came up a touch higher on the side but other that that one of the best I own.

I can't recommend this bra enough for someone with a similar shape to me.

I had been wearing this in a 28E, but the 28F is an even better fit. It gives a really round shape, lots of lift and is extremely comfortable. The band is thick so doesn't make any 'back fat' bulges, and although it's a bit big for a 28, is still quite firm. The cups are a bit bigger than a normal F. which is great for me being somewhere between an F and FF.

I have this in both red and purple plunges, and the black strapless, and am probably going to buy it in more colours because it's the only bra I've found that completely works for me in all aspects.

Also maybe a little irrelevant but I have the matching shorts to both, and they are great too https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> very comfy but do run a bit big. I am normally a UK8 and the XS is still slightly big on me, but not unwearably big.

I love this bra. It fits me perfectly and comfortable enough for a very day bra.

It is supportive with fully adjustable straps (great for someone petite like me).
It only has two hooks on the back, but I don't see that as an issue.

It hasn't stretched yet as it is relatively new. I have washed it a few times and seen no changes.

It is very cute. I love the bright colours as it cheers me up in the morning.

Hm.. I believe my breasts to be too shallow for this shape. There are wrinkles in the apex of the bra, but the top edge cuts into my tissue (muffin boob). Also, I feel as if the cups force my very centrally-located breasts down at the top and pushes the tissue out to the sides (armpit boob). Not very pretty.

The material is very beautiful though! If I had enough patience and sewing skills, I would alter it to make it fit (more open on top and less depth), but alas... I even tried to make it more open on top by altering the center gore, but it wasn't enough...

This bra feels very tight, in a distracting way. I'm not used to bands so tight but it is not something I would want to wear, even though it measures large for a 28 band. Part of it I think is that the underwires press into my ribcage. The gore is also irritating and comes up too high on my sternum, maybe something that could be altered if the underwire was bent. I can fill the cup except for some wrinkling on the bottom, but due to the shape of my breasts and the shape of the cup, it makes my breasts look very pointy. The pointy shape also cuts into my breast at the top, it's not a quad-boob because the cups aren't overflowing, I am just slightly fuller on top than the bra allows for. The strap placement is good. On the loosest hook, I can stretch the band about 2 inches away, and my underbust measures 29.

I wrote a more detailed story in my review of the regular freya deco in 28F. Unfortunately, between receiving a 28FF and deciding it was too small, then returning and exchanging for a 28F, my boobs seem to have grown while my underbust somehow shrank, making the 28F the wrong size! I decided to keep the 28F freya deco and freya hatty because they give rockin' cleavage and don't cause any other problems.... That being said!

In terms of want versus need, I probably didn't NEED the hatty. I wanted it! It is so, so gorgeous. The molded padded bras speak familiarity to me, as that's basically all I ... wore(along with anyone else in the ill-fitting bra world) before finding my correct size. Not only that, but the hatty is just a pretty color, has pinstripes and a cute button detail. What's not to love? It was light in enough in color to probably wear under light-er(read: not totally white) clothing.

As far as I can tell, the 28F hatty doesn't fit any differently than the 28F freya deco in black. It's a beautiful bra, well made, and can perhaps satisfy your desire for a truly fitting molded, padded bra!

    Didn't fit

So a while back, I ordered a 28FF freya deco and 28FF freya (deco) hattie. When they finally arrived from the UK, they were both most obviously too big in the cups, despite frantic scooping and swooping. Defeated, I sent them back to exchange for a 28F in both bras. After all, they run a little big, right?

Finally, weeks later, I receive yet another package from the UK with my 28F freya deco in gorgeous black. It looks lovely! I was so excited to try it on, because beyond a little bit of gaping in the 28FF, it was very comfortable and worked with my shape.

Alas... Somewhere in ... between trying on the 28FF and receiving the 28F, my measurements seem to have shifted! Call it tissue re-migration or just plain ol' boob growth, but the underbust went down an inch and the overbust went up an inch. I get the good ol' quadboob(or shall we just call it rockin' cleavage?) in the 28F! Argh!

To be quite honest, though, it is not uncomfortable quadboob, nor is it entirely visible. There is still a relatively smooth line underneath clothing, and the bra is mega comfortable. For whatever reason, the band feels very firm, despite the previous reports of the deco being large in the band. I'm keeping the 28F, despite the fact that it doesn't fit properly, because sometimes a gal just needs a great cleavage bra, and the slightly-small freya deco in 28F is that bra for me.

On a practical note, I wore this bra to a wedding the evening after I got it. This was a wedding where I did a lot of moving around, a TON of very enthusiastic dancing, and lots of running up and down flights of stairs for the dear bride. My boobs didn't hurt, they didn't feel like they were moving so much, and for once, I kind of forgot about my bra. So maybe this is really how the deco is supposed to fit. Either way, it works for me, even if it is not a textbook definition of "fit" https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />

  10. Deco Moulded Half Cup Bra (4232)

Surprise padding! Your mileage may vary but I was thrilled to find graduated pads in the cups of this bra. I spent at least five minutes in the mirror marveling at my greatly enhanced cleavage. I have to say, I wish there more padded bras available in this size.

On the down side, the shape is unusually wide as viewed from the front. I'm not entirely sure why this is, but it's the only reason why this isn't my favorite bra, that and Freya's loose 28 back bands.

These drawbacks aside, it's a much better bra than the regular Deco if you happen to have a short torso and/or bottom heavy breasts.

After hearing all the good things about the Deco, I finally found one in my size and price range. I wear a 28F. The band is perfect. It is very snug and doesn't move much. The cups fit good. I've never had cleavage from a bra. In fact, I didn't know plunges were even supposed to give cleavage after wearing 34B and 34C in the past.

The quality is good. It feels sturdy and well put together. I got a pre-owned one and it still feels tight and new. It gives me great support. I love the rounded shape I get. It works great under t-shirts but under a ... shirt I wore you could see the top edge of the cup, not a big deal.

My only issue is kind of strange but doesn't effect the fit. The cup at the bottom kind of dents in near the center. It's worse when I slouch. I don't know if it is because I'm not filling or overfilling it. Like I said, it isn't noticeable nor does it affect how it fits/supports.

Overall, like others, I love the Freya Deco and want more colors. I would also like to try the half cup version.

Color: Charcoal (measurements below for this color only)

    Stretched Band: 29"
    Band Length: 24"
    Cup Width: 5.25"
    Cup Depth: 8.5"
    Wire Length: 8.25"
    Cup Seperation: 1"
    Center Gore Height: 1.75"
    Wing Height: 3.5"
    Strap width: 0.75"
    Hooks: 2

    Pros:
    - I love the color, it looks great with a tan! And the little faux shell buttons are a nice touch.
    - Seamless and modest, I don't have to worry about showthrough or bumps from embroidery or the edges showing under clothes.
    - Quality seems to be pretty high. Nothing falling apart yet.

    Cons:
    - Band runs a little large so it feels loose and I have to readjust throughout the day.
    - Minor differences in measurements between the 4 colors I have, this one is like a combination of the Nude and Black. Whis there was better consistancy in this brand.

    Pros:
    -T-shirt bra
    -Conceals
    -Seamless and smooth
    -Supportive

    Cons:
-The band runs pretty true to size, save by a half inch, so for some this might be considered too loose.

    *Update - Nov, 2011:
This has been fitting a little better than when I first bought it. New, it was too stiff and gave me headaches, but after a few wears and a wash or two in the machine it's softened up, but it still slides around on the middle and larger closures.

This is for the black deco
This does give impressively massive cleavage. The fit is not quite perfect though. I have the same problem other full on bottom people have mentioned: I’m getting a small bit of gaping at the top by the strap (not enough to be noticeable under clothing at all though), yet I feel like I’m falling out the middle (hence the massive cleavage). It’s possible I could try a 28FF, but of course the gaping would be more pronounced. I’m on the tightest hook right off the bat, so I’ll be shortening it at some point in the not-so-distant future. (*shakes fist at bra manufacturers for my band size woes*). It does look fantastic under tight clothing and is overall pretty comfortable, so I’m sure I’ll pick up more of these in the future, despite the less-than perfect fit.

    Cons:
    - Band runs looser in this color than all the other ones. It also stretches out the quickest and I just bought this 7 months ago.
    - Straps are stiff, they're harder to adjust and tend to feel like they're digging in because of this (not related to a fit issue, this has to do with fabric). On the other hand, that's kind of a good thing because that means they won't do any readjusting on their own.

A bra that makes my bottom-heavy boobs look top-heavy!

The bra itself is very comfortable. The gore is higher than the Deco plunge, but not has high as a regular balconette. The straps are fully adjustable and actually pretty thin. Even though it is a half cup, I feel pretty secure in this bra. There isn't a lot of bounce and I don't fall out when leaning forward. I love the way the cups and straps are connected. Rather than going straight across the Deco Half Cup swoops up in a curve to help contain the side of your breast.

Holy moly. Well, this is my very first attempt at a correctly fitting bra. I measure 26-27 under and 34 1/2-35 bust (I fluctuate very quickly, I'm learning, so I go up and down inches and half inches quite regularly everywhere, which is a little annoying). I'm told this makes me a 28 E or F in UK sizes. Although the band fits nicely (could be slightly tighter, but much better than the 32s I'm used to!), the cups are HUMONGOUS on me. They're very long, so perhaps it has something to do with the shape of my breasts, but I'm pretty sure there's no way a 28E would fit me in this bra either, due to just how much my breasts were swimming in the cups of the 28F. It's a beautiful bra, and I'm sure it would look lovely on someone who could wear it!

The edge of the bra near the underarm could do with being a bit deeper (i.e need a bigger cup size) and I would like the bra to cover all of the breast tissue towards the armpit because the bra shifts around so much (loose band).
BUT Freya do not do a 28FF in this size, so I will keep this bra for now, for my 'smaller days' or when I need some cleavage.

So my verdict is the cups run small and the band is very stretchy and too big in my case (typically I require a very tight 28 Freya band). It is good enough for now but I don't think the band will last much longer for giving much support, and the cups are inescapably too small in certain areas.

Bought this back when I found my 28FF Deco left me with space at the top of the cup. I later realised this is due to me having bottom-heavy boobs, and the 28F was far too small. In the right size, I love this bra! Gives me a perfect rounded shape and a smooth line under clothing. I get some cleavage, but not a lot - again, I think you would get more if you are fuller on top. It's very comfortable for me to wear, which is no doubt thanks to the low centre gore.
There are two downsides: the first is that I often have to rearrange a little by the end of the day to avoid gaping at the top. The second is that the band runs large and stretches quickly, and as I really need a 26 band to start with, I have to alter the bands to make sure they don't ride up. Also, as it is a moulded cup you have to treat it carefully when you wash it.
