The centre gore lies flat against my sternum. There's a tiny bit of quadboob going on in the right cup, but I can live with that. The band is stretchy enough for me. The shape is flat compared to Cleo, which is fine with me because some days I just don't want my boobs to stand out too much. All in all a good, comfortable bra.
This bra would be AWESOME if the cup sizes were not laughably too big for me (I ordered a 28F). I've never had a band that fits so snugly though (since I work at VS and normally wear a 32C there) so that part was magical. I'd love to try this a cup size smaller.
The fit of this bra is a bit strange on me. When using the straps the fit is great. When attempting to use it as a strapless, however, it's not quite right. There is wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, toward the sides. When putting it on by just bending over, shimmying into the bra, and fastening it it’s mostly alright. With any manual adjustment, however, the bottom wrinkling becomes more apparent. It looks very similar to what snowflake mentioned in her review of the 34F. The depth seems great, but the cups are pretty wide, and do stretch a bit more when the band stretches. ...The cups are also pretty tall, which may contribute to my problems with it, being bottom-heavy and having a petite torso. The cups on the 28E were too small, and the bands in both the 30DD and the 30E were just too big. The 28FF didn’t wrinkle in the same way, but there was clearly extra room in the cups. Fastening this bra on the middle hook is the most comfortable, so I don’t *think* it’s an issue of the band being too small (for reference, my ribcage measures ~25.5 inches holding a tape measure fairly comfortably, and I do like a fairly tight band). I can only guess I’m between cup sizes and/or this model isn’t ideal for me. I’ll still wear it, though likely primarily with the straps.
As far as the details of the bra itself are concerned, the cups are “molded”, but much more flexible than anticipated. It gives a great rounded, smooth shape under clothing, as would be expected of a deco. There are several different places where the straps can be attached (though I personally find the farthest attachment in the front to be too far apart for my frame), so there are lots of strap placement possibilities. The silicone gripper lining on the band helps to keep the bra in place well. It does seem to have a lower center gore than many strapless bras I’ve seen, which is nice for showing a little cleavage while staying supported. It seems like a great bra, and a lot of people love it, but doesn’t seem to be ideal for me.
Stretched Band: 27" end to end Band Length: 24" end to end Cup Width: 5" Cup Depth: 8" (yes, it is small for it's size) Wire Length: 8.25" Cup Seperation: 1" Strap Width: 0.75"
It's really pretty and has the support and structure of the Deco range. The band is just as loose though. Closed on the middle hooks comfortably brand new, but I can manage to close them on the smallest.
Unfortunately this bra runs 1 full cup size too small. This is noticeable in the cup depth. For this size it should be 8.75-9". That is what my other two Deco Plunges measure at. The stitching at the top of the cup doesn't help ...either. It's tight across my boobs and then the outer edge of the cup curls out, more so on my left breast as that one is just a tiny bit bigger. I do remember trying this same bra on instore in Nordstrom...pretty sure in a 32DD...and the cup on that was also small, so I know it wasn't just this one. Returned this for a 28FF, just awaiting its arival (early March hopefully).
This cups on this size fit a lot better on me. They come up high on the sides like a full cup, but it's a plunge style since the wires in front are low. It also gives a nice natural shape as well. The only issue I had was that one of the cups was baggy, but that's because I'm a bit smaller on one side.
I like this bra, it's very pretty and very comfortable. There is just the teensiest bit of wrinkling at the top of the cups, they are maybe 1/8 of a size too big for me, and I had to start wearing it on the tightest hook (even then it was not exactly a snug fit) so I would say the band size might be off by an entire size. I have it in black with bluish-grayish flowers... it doesn't really look that nice to me in the lighter colors without the contrast.
i really wanted to like this but the cup is way too tall for me and it hurts my armpits like nothing else. the gore is a bit wide and the cup too shallow for my boobs, which is a shame because the cup width is pretty good. it does give a nice cleavage so i wanted to keep it but the armpit chafing won out.
this bra would work better if you were shallow with a tall and narrow root.
I know this isn't a perfect technical fit, but it works for me. I don't need to accommodate my smaller side with an insert. The quad effect on my larger side is minimal.
The wire length is perfect. Wide wires are my nemesis - so I pay attention to this detail. I took photos of how I measured the wires to isolate them from the channel.
The band is snug. I used an extender until worn & washed a few times.
The bra comes with removable front detail straps. I have never used them except when I first tried it on.
I also have this bra in a Bright Blue color (UK 28E). I'm keeping my eye out for the green color in the 28FF.
I’ve tried this in multiple sizes now. The 28G probably fit the best. The band is very tight, good thing. The wires are too wide though and I feel like my boobs get stretched into the cups horizontally. Fabric isn’t super soft, a bit scratchy. Not the right shape for me.
I really thought this was going to work. I liked the expression lace bra and the quality so I had high hopes. This is supposed to have the same wire as the lace plunge. The size 30dd fit pretty well but I could use a 28dd or 28f (waiting to try these sizes).
The molded cup is stiff and not like my spacer bra. The wire is also hard with no five. The cups are shallow and I can’t fill the bottom near the wire, there’s about 1” of empty space, so I need something with more immediate projection. Everything else seemed ok. Band width was good, the wires were high but not high enough to bother me. I don’t think sizing up would help, it’s a shape mismatch.
Love the style, but the cups are way too small and probably too shallow for my shape (not good for full-on bottom shapes I think). Compared to the Deco Moulded plunge the cups are probably a cup or two off even if they are the "same" size. Boobs spill out over the top and around the sides of the bra.
For a 28 band it is on the very snug side, but not uncomfortable.
Fits really well and snug. Cups are filled out well and band is nice and tight. Fits a little snugger than the sister size 30E, but still very comfortable. The cups are filled slightly more than sister size 30E, but are not spilling over.
Definitely not my favorite bra. The band rides up constantly with movement unless I make it uncomfortably tight. The straps also CONSTANTLY fall off my shoulders but granted, I am petite, slender-shouldered, and short-waisted. The top of the cups also gap when I move around and the top of the center gore does not sit flat. I think I might have learned that I am not as full-on-bottom as I thought...
This bra is really pretty and I like how it looks on me. The gore tacks at the top, but not the bottom. I'm not sure if this is related to my anatomy or my implants or if the bra is too shallow or all of the above. The cups are definitely too wide but it's not horrible. The band is actually nice and firm for a freya. I'm unsure whether to keep or not.
This bra is good for full on bottom or even fullness plus short roots (me). The upper lace is stretchy but still very closed on top. It seems to run a cup size small. The fabric on the inside is smooth and fairly soft.
My fit needs: projected, immediately projected, slightly narrow, fob with tall roots (functionally even), very close set, very center full. I've had this bra for 4 years and it's still on the 2nd hook! Originally I had problem with the gore being too high like all non-plunges but it actually helped reduce my symmastia. It's super cute and it gives nice cleavage. I'd say it is projected and average width and the straps are a little wide but not as bad as most bras. The cups are very open on top which is why I think I can get away with it as a uk 28FF. That being said, I am quadding when I am a 28G so maybe I should get the next size up? But I am afraid of too wide straps and the cups going into my armpit.
In your photos it doesn't look like you have properly scooped. You may find the cups fit after you swoop and scoop.
