ahhhhhhhhh, comfy. These cups run tall and full, so size down in cup, probably the same as other same cut freya unlined bras. The wires are narrow enough which is a huge relief, and the tops give me no trouble in either direction. Filling the bottom with some wrinkling on small side on top. [fot, tall roots]. The purple with green is BRIGHT, While some love this color I'd prefer the black with blue.
Definitely the best bra I've ever found to fit comfortably! I was professionally fit into this bra over a year ago and it's the best investment I ever made. Love that they included the J hooks to convert into a racer-back and the lightly lined cups so that it creates a very normal breast shape instead of the pointy cups on the unlined bras. Disappointed in the color choices though, as I'm not a fan of the crazy bright colors so the gray was the right choice for me, just wish it was a little bit lighter so that I could wear under whites. Only problem with construction is the scalloping on the straps, the J hook caught one loop and started to pull the whole thing. Had to readjust individually to correct.
Very nice bra. Great support and definitely keeps the girls in place. Freya is a funny brand with the unlined cups though... they are way to pointy so I have to sew in the tip of the cup to create a more natural curve. Love the color and the wider straps help to not dig into my shoulders so much.
I really liked this bra, great fit and lift! I have gone down a few cup sizes so it no longer fits. Personally I'm not a huge fan of leopard print because the spots show through light shirts, but that's a common issue with colorful bras.
I like this bra for everyday use, but the lift isn't great for me. The band is also looser than I expected. I have gone down a few cup sizes so it no longer fits.
Cute - I love the pattern, and for the most part I love Freya balcony bras, but the embroidery on the top of the cup is not stretchy and does not work well for full on top boobs.
I like this bra, got it used. It gives a good shape before is swoop and scoop. Then it is just a quadboob mess. I like the color and I wish I had one in a 32gg/h so I could have one that fits.
I got this pre-owned, but it's in good condition, which speaks well of its durability. It's a middle of the road bra for me. Not the best fit, but not the worst! The cups are too wide and gap a little on the top outside because I'm so center-full, and the gore is too wide, but there's enough depth at all points (apex/wire/top) which is my main concern. The construction is two layers of mesh which are semitransparent. It's cute looking, but only moderately comfortable (a finer, softer mesh would be ideal, but this is workable).
So far - this is the best fitting bra that I've ever had. I hope to get my hands on more bras that fit this well and maybe even better! https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I have projected, pendulous, full on bottom breasts with, i think, short roots (& not sure if narrow or not).
The band is elastic and comfortable yet does its job pretty well. Overall stays in place throughout the day. As it stretches the back tends to ride just a little bit upwards but that's just if I have to be nitpicky about it (it's not too bad). https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" .../> It has stretched a little bit since I bought it but I'm not yet on the tightest set of hooks (though i could soon be there). Maybe a 28 band would've been better in the long run but this one functions well enough, too.
The straps are an OK length for me. The best thing: that they're adjustable all the way. Also, another thing I noticed: even if it's said (and true) that 80% of the support should come from the band, ...the straps are very important on this one, too. If I take the straps off of my shoulders, my boobs sag a lot, with the bra moulding to their natural shape and placement. If the straps become too loose, my boobs also sag a bit. BUT the good thing: the wires still stay in place! That could be because this is the first bra with enough projection for me.
The cups are of a good volume, maaaybe a tad too large on the top part (there are some minor wrinkles there, especially near the center panel). Otherwise, I get good support from this bra. The shape is a bit new to me https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> being pretty projected and a little more pointy than what I'm used to, but it's comfortable and fits well, and uplifts my boobs really well, which is the main reason why I love it. I've learned to like the shape it gives me looking from the side. Though maybe I'd still prefer a shape that's a little more rounded when I look for a new bra.
The wires are just about the perfect width. I thought that maybe I could go even narrower, but I tried drawing two dots: on the inner and outer sides of my breast roots and looked at where the wires are sitting. Concluded that the wires on this bra align pretty much perfectly with my roots. So yay, it's a good fit.
The center gore sits comfortably at my sternum. The right wire tends to shift away from my sternum a little bit but I think that's probably because my right breast is a tad larger than my left one.
Overall, lovely fit, lovely look. I believe I could find something even better (a slightly tighter band and with cups that don't wrinkle at the top), but for now, this is my favorite bra. Read more 396 more words
Oh how I wished this bra would fit me. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> It's so pretty, such lively colors.
I received it in mail from an e-store in UK. The padded fabric was quite wrinkled and seemed to not straighten out well when I tried straightening it with my hands - when I let it just lie, it wrinkled up again, similar to how I received it.
When I put it on, the cups seem of a good volume overall - there are small empty spaces in the top of the cup when I move around (and the tops of the cups seem a bit wrinkled...) but ...when I stand with a straight back, they fill up quite nicely. The gore doesn't tack, but if I push it to my sternum with my hand, there is no overflow in cups; rather the top of the cups fill up perfectly and don't wrinkle anymore. I believe that this could be a sign that this bra would fit better on someone who has shallower / more FoT breasts (I'm projected / FoB).
The saddest thing really is the band. It's such a nice, lightweight fabric, but how stretchy it is! I bought this in the band size 30 because I already had one very well fitting Freya bra in size 30GG and also I had heard suggestions that 28 bands for the most part could be too tight for me. Now I'll know that if there's a "80 cm" written in the "stretched band" measurement of a bra on this site, I'll have to doubt if it could fit me, no matter what's written on the label. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" />
Even with all these issues, the bra looks good with a well-fitting top on. Now I'm considering shortening the bra band myself...hope I'd manage to do it well! I really don't want to send it back; it looks pretty. Read more 213 more words
Band is very stretchy, had to fasten to tightest hook. Would recommend sizing down in the band. Cups were way too wide for me and underwire extended far under my arm. Would be good if you are wide set, which I am not. The gore narrows enough in the center and does not poke into tissue which is a common problem for me. Overall, gave a nice shape, but cups just to wide for me so I will return.
