I forget how much tighter black runs. Though, going by measurements, it shouldn't bother me. I've worn it with an extender but that set the straps in a weird place. Other than that, I like it. I don't spill into the middle and the cups fit fairly well. There is wrinkling at the bottom, but I knew that going in to buy a deco as I need narrow and deep cups. Unfortunately there's just not that much out there for moulded cups that aren't wide unless you go Polish.
For me, the fit is kind of odd; it seems to keep my boobs a lot more in the center than the rest of my bras do, and depending on how I sit/stand it goes from teeny-quadboob to a bit wrinkled at the top of the cup. It's a different shape than I'm used to, I suppose! I think the straps are also a bit wide-set, but they're very thick and comfortable, and ACTUALLY LONG ENOUGH. It's quite pretty overall, too!
Ebay seller sent me wrong bra and a size I could only dream of fitting into.
I thought I would get some measurement before sending it back. I never actually tried it on just help it up to myself.
The shape looks wonderful just like all the reviews are saying. It is a very round deep for the size cup. It has the gel plastic in the inside that helps the cups from falling down. It came with two straps that has two plastic to hook in both the back and the front. I really like when bras do that.
This is the cutest bra I've ever tried on! It has just about everything I want in a bra design-wise-- finally, something a little more age-appropriate. I'm tired of beige tents. The pattern is adorable. Anyway, end rant, ahem. Everything is smooth and not at all itchy. The straps are long enough and don't dig in. Again, design-wise, it's adorable. The band is nice and thick. Good things all around. I want this to fit SO desperately but I don't think it does. There's a lot of wrinking in the cup, especially at the top, something I have problems with VERY often. I think the straps are also too wide-set for me, though because they themselves are so wide, they're super comfortable. I'm stuck between returning and altering this one.
The cups are too big for me (I'm typically a 30G), but I can make do with tightening the straps. I'm not going to comment on the technical aspects of the fit because I don't have the right size. The bra is super comfortable though- it's my go to period bra for when my boobs are swelling and I just want to be comfy. The straps do rub my armpits slightly but not as much as my Cleo Lucy.
This Deco is a pretty maroon colour with black polka dots. the straps and edge of the cups are black with maroon dots. These dots are raised and feel almost rubbery.
The back is looser than a 30 should be, resulting in some ridding up, and escape boob from the side of the cup.
Overall the cup fits well, i believe i could do with a GG.5, but not a H cup at the moment, due to weight loss.
Because it was so pretty and it was my old favourite bra, for giggles and a miracle, I bought the new season Jade colour, which is stunning. Previously bought the black version about a year ago in my old size. I also wanted to test out my bra size as I have had difficulty in determining what my size is.
As expected... No miracle and my cup size is definitely bigger. Band is just too big to get away with and I bowl out of it after I swoop and swoop with gaping at the bottom.
Stunning bra though for anyone who can fit into them, love the colour, quality and the lace in the wings and edge of cups, straps and sides in particularly pretty and a nice addition.
When I bought this bra, I was like, "Yeah, it's just like my 30G - Freya » Deco (4234) Deco except in purple and up a cup size!" But it's not really the same. The cups feel stiffer and less comfortable. The straps are also thicker and are trying to do some weird folding over thing. There's a pretty lace overlay décor on the band. I have a similar problem in this as I do to my other Decos. Though the cup often feels too small, many movements of my arms pushes the stiff cup outwards, which creates a very visible line underneath clothing. I like the Decos because they're so smooth under shirts, but when this started happening, they stopped being loveable.
The shape is wrong for me in every way. That makes it hard to tell for sure, but the cup is probably one size too big and the band could be the right size but is probably one size too big.
Based on the measurements, I was a bit sceptical (I assumed it would be slightly too small in the cups). I was even more sceptical that there exists a bra that would actually keep girls this size in place without straps.
But lo and behold, I was wrong on both instances! This bra stayed in place perfectly, was very supportive, and to top it off, gave a fairly nice shape! It isn't the most comfortable bra for sure, but then again I doubt any strapless is...
The cup folds at the bottom in an odd way, but it doesn't show under clothes so it doesn't bother me. ... Well, to be honest, it would bother me were this a normal bra, but in this case that's definitely something I can overlook.
I can wear strapless tops and dresses, for the first time ever!!!
I read everywhere that it ran small in the band, so I got a 30, but I could BARELY fasten it. As I suspected, the cups fit kind of weird. My tissue is quite soft, so when I scoop and swoop it fits OK, but then everything kind of settles down into the cups. The bra doesn't show under my scrubs, IF I'm fully scooped. Otherwise the tops of the cups start gapping, and then the line shows through.
I ordered this bra from another Bratabase user, unfortunately it's a little too big in the cup for me. I have been figuring out my size between 30 G and GG, and it appears that with Freya I'm a G, but in everything else I wear GG/H.
The odd thing about this bra is that even though the cups are too big: loose fabric at the top of the cup; I am FoB, and the cup depth is a good inch bigger than my body. Yet the top seam of the cup lays tight against my chest/pec area.
Otherwise it is a beautiful and elegant bra, I'm very sad it didn't fit me!
Sadly, this size did not fit me and I had to order it in 30G. I ordered the GG because several other 30G bras did not fit me. I guess I should have heeded the warnings that the Deco runs big in the cups. I did compare measurements of the cups, and I was certain it would fit. I will report back when I receive the right size!
I acquired a 30GG Deco in "nude" (I wish they wouldn't call it that, although it's a very good match for my skin colour) a week ago. It has converted me to a) nude bras and b) true plunge bras. I can now wear several of my low-cut and/or light-coloured tops and dresses without needing a camisole underneath! Amazing!
The Deco gives me good but not outrageous cleavage and can't be seen unless I lean really far forward. Unlike most plunge bras I've tried, I don't fall out of the middle. And the nude colour is perfect for me - invisible under light-coloured clothes. ... (I resisted nude bras for a long time because I hate beige. I don't exactly like this colour either, but it really works.)
The 30GG fits me quite well. The band is extremely tight, and I might have tried a 32G, but other reviews say it stretches out quickly, so I'm hoping the 30GG will last me a while. I need to do quite a lot of swooping, scooping and rearranging when I put on the bra in order to fill the cups correctly and make sure the centre gore lies flat, and it's not my most comfortable or my most beautiful bra. But I think it will fulfil its role very well as a base for low-cut and light-coloured clothes. Read more 125 more words
I wanted this bra to work for me, but unfortunately it didn't. The cups were just too big--it wrinkled at the top a lot and on the sides a bit. Also, the center gore didn't lay flat. This would be probably be well-suited for someone who's full on top. I think maybe this model runs big in the cups for Freya, because I have a Freya bikini in the same size that fits me. I like how it looks and it seems supportive.
This bra is too small on me. Because it doesn't fit the shape is REALLY pointy. It has a reputation for being great for full on bottom boobs. Freya in general also has a rep for having slightly more narrow and deeper cups than Panache and Curvy Kate. Probably not as narrow as Ewa.
This bra is sheer in G- cupsizes. In GG+ there is an extra layer of mesh. This is still relatively see through when held up to light, but once you put the bra on you can't tell it's sheer at all.
