This bras has firmer cups than the original Deco. I love the teal trim on the top of the cups because teal is my favorite color. The chain print is interesting and cute, and I don't think I've ever seen anything like it. I like the black trim on the otherwise white straps. The back band is firmer and the cups and wires a bit smaller than the original Deco. All in all, a great plunge bra. It's comfortable and gives great shape and lift. The straps are fully adjustable.
I unfortunately had to sell this one because it gave me quad boob https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I bought it second hand and quite used so band is stretched (even the tightest hooks are loose). The lower part was made sheer by previous ownerhttps://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" /> so it looks like Arabella in smaller cups. It gives lovely and round shape and it looks very sexy.
Beautiful, well-made bra. Unfortunately I've outgrown it and now it's too small in the cups and a little big in the band on me.
Pros: Super pretty! Delicate, soft fabric and stitching, but super sturdy construction- practically indestructable. The elastic has held up well, despite moderate abuse. Lovely shape- good boost and none of the boob-migration problems I usually have in plunge bras. I have VERY soft boobs, and this bra conforms to their shape well without letting them ooze all over. Pretty straps that can be adjusted to a wide range of sizes.
Cons: Not actually super plunge-y; if you're looking to wear it under a very low-cut shirt, you might want to try another bra. ...That said, the trim is cute enough that you could probably get away with flashing it. The pattern is vivid enough that it's visible through a lot of clothes. Have to wear it with opaque stuff. Sheer mesh. Your nips will be visible. The color isn't quite the same as in the pictures on the site I bought it from- the turquoise is the same, but the butterfly pattern is sort of lavender-grey. Read more 70 more words
Perfect! Even after loosing some weight (and 4cm in bust perimeter) it fits great. Very comfortable, but I found it annoying I have to wash it in hands (because of 'termo foam'). It did not stretch out.
I'm a big fan of the Deco style in general, and this is no exception. The cups, as with the other "ribbon" style Deco (Carly) that I own, runs about a cup size small compared to un-ribboned Decos.
I bought this from another bratabase user, but it was new with tags. I can say that the band fits a bit tighter than my other brand new Decos have in the pats (which is a big plus for me as I'm on the small end of a 30 band), and it's perfect on the second hook (so, still a bit large). The style and detailing is exceptional, and it gives ...that beautiful rounded Deco silhouette under clothing, and looks fabulous out of clothing, as well.
I always find Decos comfortable and flattering, and this is no exception. I am small framed with fairly large, close-together breasts. Definitely very happy I decided to get this one! I think some of my other Decos are starting to show their age and large amount of wear, so it's good to have a fresh one to compare against! Read more 73 more words
Great bra - like all bras based on Polyanna. good support, great, round shape and very comfortable. One thing I don't like - band is quite tight (for my 72cm) and I have to wear it with extender.
The cups are massive!! At least 2 sizes too big i think ... they also get a crease in the base - maybe because they are too big and my tissue can't fill them out.
The back is firm and has 4 rows of hooks to keep it in place. I like this feature, because it helps to safeguard against discomfort. it has silicone around the wings to keep it in place, but does not have this on the top of the cups, which i think it would benefit from.
It is very easy to wear under clothes, and even though it is too big, the cup has enough shape that it is not noticeable under clothes. the problem, to my mind, is that it creates quite an east - west look.
This is my favorite bra! I've tried several non padded bras and I hate them. I never get the shape and support that I want, but with this bra I get a rounded, uplifted shape. I have it in nude and I wear it under everything. I also love that it's a plunge bra. At age 20, I don't want to have to wear full cup bras. It's also really comfortable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
edit 9/14/12- The band is now too big for me and the wires on the side are too short.
While this isn't the absolute best possible t-shirt bra for me, it is passable. 3/4 in, close to the center gore there is some puckering if I do not have my shoulders back- the straps are a little wide for my slightly narrow shoulders, sitting closer to the edge than I would ideally like. The wire are a bit sharp under the arm but do not come up to high. The band is fairly firm for Freya but still stretchier than some other brands. I didn't experience the oh-wow cleavage that most seem to market it for, that may be because of how wide and close set mine are. That said, I think this will be fine for thin knits and sheerer tops.
I just tried this on this morning and honestly can't remember if it sat flat against my sternum. The cups are a tad too small and produce some quadriboob over the top and the plunge part. Also, the band on this is stiffer than other Freyas I've tried.
Many, many women love this bra, but even if it fit well, I'm not so sure about it for me. It is quite padded. I'll try to see if I can compare it to the Fantasie Rebecca (which I have in a 32G). Surprisingly, even though it didn't fit well, it wasn't super uncomfortable.
I don't think I'm a fan of the molded, padded bras, so my thoughts on its appearance are certainly a personal opinion.
I have a 32 inch ribcage and this 30 fit more closely than the 32 I tried on in the store. I did have to wear an extender with it, as it was about a half inch too small. For me, the cups were too tall on the sides, as I'm fairly short. And the plunge was just too deep for my shape - I fall out the center.
I got this on sale, in a cup size larger than I normally wear in Freya. I figured it would be good for days when my boobs are larger, because my other Freya bras tend to cut in slightly on the top on those days.
The band seems firmer than a normal Freya, truer to size.
Half of the straps have a decorative animal print on them, like the rest of the bra. However, you can still fully adjust them.
Even though it's a bit big on days when I'm small, the support and shape is there.
It's a nice animal/leopard print without being obnoxious.
The cups are too big for me. I think an FF or G would be a better fit with this band size, however, I can easily fasten the tightest hooks so I think I need a 28. The bottom of the wires still press against my ribs and the sides rub against my arms. This could be due to the size, or maybe this model just isn't for the petite.
The sturdy band and wide straps offer substantial support. I was surprised to see that it gives a really nice profile. I can fit into the same shirts as with some of those so-called minimizers.
I was unsure about this bra, because I thought I was about a 32F and this is a 30GG, but I took a chance on it and got it through bratabase. Much to my delight, it fits pretty well. There is a little emptiness at the top of the cup of my smaller boob, but not so much that it's noticeable through clothing.
The fabric is very silky and has a retro look to me, and the lace trim doesn't show through my tshirt.. It's comfortable, all the wires lay where they're supposed to with no poking, and the band fits snugly without being too tight. The girls are separated and lifted without being too in-your-face, so I think this will be my new everyday bra. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
This was my first Proper Bra and it is one in which I feel very secure and supported. It doesn't scratch or dig in anywhere, and I find it generally very comfortable.
I suppose the shape from the side could be a bit more uplifted, and when my boobs are temporarily larger, the top of the lace cuts across them, making a mini-quadraboob. I am bordering between sizes, though, so I guess that can be expected.
One thing which really irritates me is that my nipples ALWAYS show through the sheer part. I don't think it's because of me wearing the wrong size, because I don't have that problem with my other 30GG Freya bra - perhaps the cut of this particular bra? I don't know, but it's horrible.
Did the bra fit your bigger boob? you should report how the bra fits for the boob you measured :).
This way the site knows whether or not it fits someone with boobs like the one you measured. I recommend always to go by the larger one ;)
