I wear 32DD in Panache Cari (fits great), so I decided to try the same size in this bra. The band was much too big, unfortunately. The cups fits pretty well, but the straps are too wide set, so when I move my arms the cups gape a bit.
This was actually an excellent fit for me (normally 32E full on bottom, wide set), minus the fact that I tend to flip up bottom lace, which I certainly did with this one. The lace was slightly itchy, but I assume would get better with time. Also, while I appreciate the idea of 5 hooks, in practice it was a pain to get them lined up and hooked.
I'm almost in disbelief! This is the first Freya bra that fits me. The top half of the cups is made out of stretch lace, the bottom is double lined to make it strong and not stretchy. The 1 hook band is amazing, I love one hook bands because it doesn't cause back rolls on me and it's much easier for me to put on. It is also very comfortable, I actually forget I'm wearing a bra.
Despite the bratabase system telling me it doesn't fit, I actually rather like it. The problems are temporary or situational: if I wear this bra strapless as intended, the top of the cup cuts into my tissue a tiny bit. If I wear any version of straps with it, this goes away and is most likely caused by my back shape, i.e having the band lie a bit too low in the back.
About me: close set, center full: narrow, projected, full on bottom with tall, shallow/ sloping roots.
Stuff that does work for me on this bra: cup is narrow enough and it had enough immediate projection for me (no wrinkling at the bottom of the cups, no shifting down as the day goes on). The cups are close enough together so the gore tacks and doesn't sit on inner tissue. Cup height is good.
Stuff that's not so great a fit for me: gore is too tall and causes some discomfort. The dumb X shaped strap connectors are pokey. The band is quite stretchy - I have to wear it ...on the tightest hook brand new (though I have been wearing mostly 30s recently, probably because I've gained a bit of weight and can tolerate a snugger fit better). The cup is rather closed off on top, though not as bad as others Ive tried recently (curvy kate princess comes to mind) so it cuts in ever so slightly on my larger breast but it's not too bad. If it were stretch lace it wouldn't create any problems.
Overall, supportive and a good, though not great, fit for me. Read more 89 more words
Naturally nude color. Wires seem to be narrow enough for me. Cuts in under my arm/front of chest/where my pectoral muscle goes up into my arm (frequent problem for me). It wrinkles quite a bit toward the center/top of the cup, perhaps because I'm not full enough on top to fill it. The gore goes up a bit high on me, but I can't decide if I find it uncomfortable or not.
I got the blush color. The gore tacks, but the wire is a bit wide for me and cuts in on the left breast (my larger breast). There's also a bit of gaping on the right/smaller side. It cuts into my underarm/front of chest, which is a frequent problem for me.
Cup material is eh. Not irritating but not comfortable, not really my thing.
Cup size is pretty large overall. Too much space at the top, especially toward the center. Mostly filling out the bottom, but I think it's just overall too large.
Right now my breasts are on the larger side so when they become a bit less waterlogged, this bra would be even more noticeably oversized. Is the shape relatively correct? If i went one cup size smaller, I worry that it wouldn't be wide enough.
I'd heard that Freya tends to be stretchy in the band, but I found this to be extremely snug. It stretches to just under 31" which is way too tight for me. I measure about 33" underbust. I otherwise love everything else about it.I'll probably try a 34D next time.
i need this in a 30DD or 32D. i had hoped (not sure why...) that even tho it would likely be a cup too big, that it would still work for me, since i have super tall roots and since it's stretchy fabric (not molded) that i could pull it off. i was SADLY mistaken https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> it fit decently, but it gave me an odd shape, likely due to the cup not being tight/small enough. But super comfy and love the soft ribbon mixed w/the see-thru mesh.
I think this bra is too shallow for me. Some gapping at the top especially at the edges of the cup near the straps. It might actually also be too small. Works great as a push-up bra if I tighten the band to the tightest hooks, though!
Such lovely and colofrul bra. The band is typical for Freya in 32, so I can easily close on the tightest set of hooks. I was really hoping for the Parade as totaly tartan was perfect in cups but Im not fan of longlines and unfortunately got dissapointed. The cup depth is bigger than other freya so I cant really fill it in properly. The wires seems to be ok when measured but when the bra is on, theyre too wide -_- and they come too high under my arms. Straps are not too wide, just okay
This is a very cute bra! I'm shallow/wide-rooted and do get a little bit of gaping at the top of the cup if I slouch but if I stand up straight the fit is perfect - much better than the regular Deco. Gives a very nice rounded shape and I like the jaunty leopard print.
Love this bra, but the cup size is to small for me. I plan to reorder it in 32E. Otherwise it is super soft, great projection for my shallow and wide breasts. I LOVE the pattern on this, it is so cute and dainty! Not as narrow as the Cleo balconett bras tend to be, fits similar to the Cleo Maddie Balconett bra which is perfect on me in size 32E, which is true to size.
I have this bra in Blush and it is one of the nicest-looking bras I own - gorgeous very rounded shape, looks amazing under clothes, really pretty muted pale-rose colour, no gaping anywhere. Fits a lot better on me than the "regular" Deco, which gapes badly at the top (I'm quite FOB), and slightly better than the Freya Deco Rebel Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) , which has very slight gaping if I don't stand up super-straight.
My only problem with it is the band - it seems much, much more rigid than the other Freya bands and if I wear it "as is" I feel like it's ...cutting the circulation off in the entire top half of my body. With an extender adding another set or two of hooks it's super comfy. I've persevered with the extender a few times in the hope that the band will stretch out a bit, but I'm still not quite there. I am considering just buying it again in a 34D, but then fear the band will loosen too much. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> Read more 77 more words
Commenting to add that I tried it in the 34D and it only just feels supportive on the tightest set of hooks - I'm clearly right in between the 32 and 34 for this style. I'll continue with the extender until the 32 loosens!
As I've mentioned in 30E - Freya » Deco Delight Moulded Multiway Bra (1561) , the older versions of Deco dont work on me even they have similar/same measurements of depth and vires. This Deco has the same measurements in depth and wires as 30E - Freya » Deco Rebel Moulded Plunge Bra (4234) but it gives me gapping in the cups, the wires feel to wide and obviously the band is too big - i have close it on the smallest set.
