This was billed as a plunge balcony; while it might be a plunge in balcony land, it's no real plunge.
The gore is high, and digs into my sternum. I'm close set, and although I wouldn't consider the gore to be wide, it's too wide for how high it goes on me.
The wings are relatively high, but they're not uncomfortably so.
Straps are wide set and dig into my underarms and slide off my shoulders incessantly.
The shape is rounded and mildly "cakes on a plate" and seems to accommodate my FOT/Even immediate projection rather well. The gore is too high to really have cleavage (for me).
I'm fond of the pattern. Polka-dots are nice, and color-wise it wears like a black bra.
I wasn't going to keep this bra, but it turned into my daily. It's not fun to lounge in though, I find myself taking it off when I want to relax at home. Also the band, while not a very snug 34 to begin with, definitely stretches out with use.
This bra is a entitled a plunge bra, although the gore is not particularly low. I cannot judge the fit since it is not in my size range. Regarding the construction, the cup is made of four parts of non-stretch fabric. The side support is made of a sturdier fabric, while the other three parts are made of a lace that doesn't feel very soft. I don't know if the materials might soften with a washing, but for a new bra, they feel quite rough. The band is made of one layer of stretchy jersey, and the straps have a shiny silver decoration on the top. This would also be somewhat scratchy, but since it's not also on the inside of the strap, it's fine. Same fro the thin elastic on the top edge of the cup. Regarding the design, the silver accents look very pretty in real life, and they give an otherwise plain black bra a bit of a party feel.
This bra suits my need for a good deal of immediate projection. The wire width works pretty well for me, the band is firm and comfortable. It doesn't cut into my Full On Top to Even shape. The cups feel good, like I fit into the bra rather than the bra forcing me into it.
On the less great side, it doesn't help round out my pointy nature as much as I would like it too, and I find the gore uncomfortably high. I've had to bend it out and keep having to do so to keep it that way. Although the top of the gore is quite narrow at least.
This is simply gorgeous. I wish I could find one of these in my size, and that my shape worked with it better. I can't say too much about this bra, because, obviously it's nowhere near my size, and isn't even a pepper sister size. What I will say is that the width of these wires are 100% perfect. I'm not sure if I'll be able to find a 30G with 5 inch wide wires, but by God I'm going to try.
Out of the box, this bra is uncomfortable. The center gore digs into my sternum, and the wires just dig in all around. The band is uncomfortable and not very stretchy. The straps aren't too far apart. I can say that for it. At least not comfort-wise. They still show under tank tops though.
Shape-wise, this bra is pointy. It looks a little weird. Now this could be due to my own natural shape, but the bra does nothing to curb that. I've read sizing down a cup in this kind of bra can help but I'm not sure I'd fit in a size down.
This bra is made for depth ...and is pretty good at accommodating immediate projection. I do have a fair amount of wrinkling, which leads me to believe it may be better suited to someone who is Full On Bottom, where I am more FOT/Even. But my breasts don't push the bra downward at all.
I decided to hang onto it because I really wanted a soft bra. I read about bending wires sometimes helping and I have done a lot of bending on this bra and now... it's wearable. I bent the center out, so the gore no longer digs in, and I rounded the wires to fit more closely with my body which makes the band and wires more comfortable.
Also, not in love with the pattern. Read more 120 more words
Love, love this bra. It sits in all the right places. Unfortunately, I lost weight and the band was too big, but I fixed it with a Rixie clip. My one complaint is that the front seam sometimes shows with t-shirts, but really it shouldn't be worn with thin shirts anyways for that exact reason!
My snug underbust is 34" exactly, and I'm wearing my Daydreamer on the middle hooks and it's a little bit loose. I'll have to move all the way in soon. I would have bought a 32F--I later got a 32F Cottage that's perfect--but this was cheap, so what can you do.
Unbelievably soft. Wire width is perfect, unlike the original Lauren which is a little wide for me. By far my favorite straps of any bra I've tried.
This is my favorite bra! It gives me such a nice shape--very perky and round. I get great cleavage with it, too! I wore it so much that the cups started to warp a bit.
This bra is a gorgeous pattern, and the first longline I ever bought. I LOVE the longline style, however the band is too stretchy for my, and the cups are much too small. I wish they covered more. This bra is super comfy, though, that could possibly be due to the incorrect sizing.
Another case of big band. I could use a 32F here. The bra itself is very pretty. I like the lilac color and smooth feel to it. Only con: as far as style: the band is NOT fully adjustable. I found that I needed to adjust it to shortest setting, but again, that's because I have high roots. Side note: The straps themselves are really pretty. It has a nice design feature, but only halfway functional.
A very sweet looking bra. Looks great on me as far as color and detailing, but I could use a tighter band and bigger cups for this to be a winner. I get a smidgen of quadboob where the edge of the lace is. If the stitching was a bit more open, I could keep the cup size. In fact, that's it. Maybe I just need a 32F
This is just the most beautiful bra from Freya! Lovely chain print on the cups, blue/teal velvet trim and black lace on top of the cups, cute bows on the centre gore and at the base of the straps, and contrast white/black straps. I bought it with a tiny mark of pen on the left cup, but didn't manage to remove it completely.
This is one I looked for years before I found it. Well, now I have 2. I initially planned to alter the 34E to a 28G, but just found a 28G.
Although the band is obviously too large for my small frame, the cups seem to run a bit small.
I really love this bra, but I think I'll have to go down to a 32F because there is a gap at the top no matter how tight the straps are. But overall really comfortable and not too much padding and gives good shape also.
**EDIT** this bra definitely doesnt fit, so im finally retiring it https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" /> far too large in the band, too small in the cups and if i fidn it in the right size the wires willlikely be far too wide.
i got this on a Facebook bra swap group, new without tags. The colors are interesting- in person the teal is lovely, and the purple and white flowers look very elegant. Love the purple trim and lace top! The seams show a little through thin knits, but it should be an issue for most clothing. Its very close to right, ...but no cigar https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
I feel the cup needs to be one size larger, but in that size the wires would probably be too wide, as they are just right in this one. The cups only quad boob a little if i fully scoop, but since the half cup doesn't keep the upper tissue in, my breasts settle back down and look alright.
The straps are far aside like most half cups, so i do get a little bit of strap-in-the-pits, but its not unbearable. The band is too large, as i can close it on the tightest hook and have it still work its way up a little by the middle of the day.
I might try this in a 32F/32FF if i can find one in person, but until the band stretches i think this will work pretty well for me, as its more of a "fun" bra anyway. Read more 156 more words
This is my favorite bra. I got it used on /r/braswap and I'm so happy with it. The bottoms of the cups do fold and slip down a bit due to needing more projection, but this lets me fill out the top of the cups perfectly. It's extremely comfortable, though the band is a bit loose on the tightest hook. I can pull it out pretty far.
