Bra looked ok when I got it although it was flattening me a little at the center. It wasn't the most comfortable as the straps cut in at my armpits a little so I didn't wear it much. The shape was a little pointy too. Now the cup is way too small.
THE BEST bra for wide root, splayed breasts! My FF's are comfortably contained, and the gore *almost* tacks, which hardly ever happens with my breast shape. Wearing this bra feels like my boobs are supported by a comfortable sling. Band is much firmer than other Freya models, and the straps have slight elastic to them, keeping them on my narrow-ish shoulders without slippage. If only this bra gave me cleavage- I would buy 4 more!
I absolutely adore this bra. Freya never fails to cater to my needs. This yellow looks great against my skin tone and the pattern alongside the mesh at the top of the cups make it even cuter.
On the stock image this bra looks more like a true yellow but it's actually leaning more toward neon/highlighter yellow than a genuine yellow color. I didn't mind because I love all yellows, but I was expecting a different color.
This bra is very comfortable and gives great lift and cleavage for my wide set breasts and gives a nice rounded shape. However, this would work best for those with more shallow and full on top breasts as my projected ones didn't quite fill out the bottom of the bra. If I downsize to a 34F it might fit though my larger breast might suffer from quad-boob.
I love that is has no seam on the edge of the cup so it looks great underneath tight fitting shirts. The material is soft and doesn't rub my skin like the Deco Vibe, which can be uncomfortable to wear for long hours.
Overall if you have the shape for this bra I definitely recommend it as it is comfortable and does wonders for my less-than-perky breasts.
This is but a soft cup (usually not my #1 choice) but alas it is so soft, and so comfortable that I can't help but want to marry it! I often wear it for 12h+ due to schedule. Design of lace is great and doesn't wreak havoc on my slightly larger boob. Straps are fully adjustable. Pattern is gorgeous. I'm even/leaning towards FOB with fairly soft and pendulous tissue and had no problems staying in this bra. It's also the first one I've had with wires that (nearly) were perfect for me.
Love the color and shape of this bra. It fit just a little big when I got it, went on to lose weight and now too much dead space at top of cups, with large amount of cup also going under arm and uncomfortable/chafing. Too bad as this is nice bra - trying smaller sizes from amazon. Will relist.
Oh, Deco Vibe, I love you. It fits comfortably to wear all day, doesn't ride up and keeps the ladies in place. I'm FoB and it gives good cleavage without that quad action. The band is comfortable and not overly stretchy. The straps are a touch too far apart for my frame, but it's not too bad.
I like padded bras because you can't tell if I'm cold...haha. This is the best one I've ever owned.
I had this in the wine color in size 30FF and I loved it while it fit! I bought this on impulse because I love blue and polka dots. I usually wear a 30GG or a 32G, but thought I'd give this a try... Bad idea. Much too big in the band and too roomy in the cup! My fault for buying it on impulse and just hoping it would fit.
A tiny bit too shallow at the bottom for me, but not a major problem. Straps are a little too wide, but also not a major problem. It's a bit snug in the cup, possibly because I'm a little bloated right now. I'm unsure if it's too small in cup or just an overall shape mismatch because I went up to a 34G and there was quite a bit of gaping all over the top of the cup, but no snugness. I'll probably keep the 34FF to see if it works later in the month
I really like this bra. It gives great shape yo my boobs. It fits my largest breast well with a bit of gapping on the smaller one. My only complaint is that the band stretched out really fast.
*EDIT* i kept it, so ive been able to wear it a ton. after a few hours, i have to readjust and scoop/swoop for the gaping that occurs. i feel like its a combo of a too loose band making the bra move around and the width of the gore shoving the cups back and forth. the straps slide of my shoulders occasionally, again probably because the band keeps moving. all in all a pretty comfortable bra, but my no means a perfect fit.
I'm torn on this bra. it seems to fit okay, aside from a few small things. the gore is a bit too wide, the straps ...being are a little too far apart, and the right cup is gaping (which i always face because that side is shallower/wider). but it doesn't feel quite right, and i cant pin what it is. the band seems like it could be tighter, but going by measurements that shouldn't be the case. the bottom of the cups on the outside also seem to want to roll outwards, and I'm not sure if that is happening because my stomach is meeting it, or if its something to do with the bra fit, maybe needing more projection? I'm not sure. I'm at a loss with bras lately! onto the nitty gritty:
the straps are fully adjustable, yay! the band is hooked on the tightest setting, but it still feels like it could be more snug. it might just be that Freya bands and their thin stretchy material is what i'm feeling, because my measurements match up with this bra pretty well. the gore probably needs to be narrowed, as i notice it fighting with my boobs and going side to side a lot. interestingly, there isn't nearly as much empty wire channel in the armpits of this bra as I'm used to, less than half an inch. the cup on the left (larger side) seems to fit well, and actually looks on the borderline overspill in the center of the bra, near the gore. the right (smaller) cup gapes along the whole top edge, most severely near the strap and most noticeably when my arm is forward at all (like while i type this...grrrr). i feel like there is a whole cup of difference between them, its so frustrating! i feel like taking in the gore would alleviate some of the extra space though, so one day i will have to try that.
appearance wise, this bra is really cute. the straps and top of the cup are white, purple, and pink stripes, with a little flat bow where the strap connects.the gore has two small white buttons, and the pattern is this really neat sort of ..teardrop geometric shape? they are ombre coral and set on a pale lilac background, and it all somehow works. the cups are constructed like the totally tartan, with two vertical seams and one horizontal. i dont notice problems with the horizontal seam cutting into my tall tissue.
im most likely sending this back. i love the looks, but my 34FF Totally Tartan has been giving me issues, and this bra will likely fare the same since they are the same cut. Read more 423 more words
i think i picked this up on ebay, pretty sure as new without tags, but cant remember 100%. originally, i figured i would use it as a work bra, since it would likely be a bit too big in the band and the cut of this bra isn't the perfect fit for me. that way, i wouldn't mind getting it possibly stained from the black t shirts i wear. it fits better than i expected, and i can wear it comfortably as a day to day bra with only minor issues.
the first issue is that the band is too large. on the tightest hook, it stays pretty stable, ...but i do have to tug it now and then. i would do better in a 32G with some time for the band to break in. the material of this band is also an issue for be. its the type where there are two thicker strips of elastic that border a very thin stretchy piece, and those always curl under or over on me when they are snug enough to provide support. i prefer one uniform material that is sturdier, and am thinking about the possibility of adding that to this bra if it isnt too much of a project.
the straps are slightly too wide for me, and combined with a band that is a bit too lose, means they slide off my shoulders now and then. the gore is also too wide, so it sort of moves side to side a bit as it tries to find room to settle flat. this causes some gaping in the cups, and is just plain annoying. i think if i narrowed the gore, the straps might stay put better, and i wouldn't get the gaping either.
the pattern im not crazy about. i wish it came in something more white shirt friendly, but i wasn't picky when i got this. all in all, it gets the job done and didn't break the bank doing it. i can work all day and move around freely, and only have to adjust minimally. Read more 238 more words
I own a lot of Deco's, and this one feels a lot more like a plunge-halfcup, as opposed to a complete plunge. The cups are a little less open on top than the regular plunge, and does not give as much cleavage.
I found the sizing to be a bit small all around compared to other Deco's that have fit me in the past. The 32FF original Deco seemed to be a perfect fit both in cup depth and band stretch. This model seems a lot tighter and the cup depths are not that much larger (still noticeably larger, but only a half inch difference).
The foam molding ...in this bra is much stiffer than the regular plunge, I've noticed. The band also has a very breathable mesh-like material. It's an interesting concept. I have not gotten to use the J-hook feature yet, but will probably soon with summer coming.
I bought this bra new at Nordstrom's, which may explain the band tightness, but the small difference in cup depth sort of surprised me. However, this was my first big-$$ bra buy and it was still incredibly satisfying walking out the store with 2 brand new $70 bras! Read more 91 more words
This bra does not work for ladies with a wide root. The wires are not wide enough and cause the orange in a glass effect. Besides that the bra gives a nice rounded shape with touching cleavage. For girls looking for a T-Shirt bra and have wide roots try the Casey Plunge By Parfait.
I am still discovering things about my shape and I think I found my boob twin on a blog. I have OiaG/omega boobs and I tend to get wrinkles in the bottom of the cup, side tissue escaping, and I can't really wear longlines because of my ribs.
*this is a bra i purchased in an order from Amazon that i intend to return, so i haven't worn it aside from trying it on for this review and measurements. i cant give an accurate idea of how it fares in real life.*
first off: though i bought this through amazon, I'm fairly certain it has been used. it arrived here with no hang tag, some small (cat maybe?) hairs in the mesh, and faint dark spots with piling on the gore and piling with white marks near the underarms. the tag also seems a bit faded. i didn't notice any of these things at first, but then ...i noticed the faded tag and investigated further. as such, im not entirely positive the band length hasn't been stretched out a little. fingers crossed amazon believes me and lets me return it!
Onto the bra: i like this cut, its all vertical seams so A+ for me. the design is pretty, its a neon melon-y sort of orange with a subtle check print mesh overlay on the cups and another different check print on the top edging. the straps are nice and thick, if a bit too wide set like most half cups, and fully adjustable. the gore juust slightly doesn't tack at the top edge, but if i shove the wires into the empty channel space near the underarms (which i prefer anyway) I'm fine. the gore doesn't seem to wide on this, though it measures as wide as bras that give me gore trouble. this partly might be because the wires are wider so my boobs are being pulled less to the center, and the gore also isn't laying flat. looking down, instead of a _ shape, its doing a \/ shape and bending with my boobs, so they dont fight and shove it around. honestly I'm confused about the wire width, as for a long while there it seemed anything over a 5.75 inch width had major space near the underarms. maybe this bra is shallower and I'm not getting empty space because my boobs are being shoved to the sides instead of in?
the band feels a little loose on the tightest hook, though measurements say that shouldn't be the case. for reference, i also ordered the 32G and liked the band on that much better. the cups feel pretty good, though I'm a little bulgy on the larger left side and a little gapey on the shallower right side. its not too severe or noticeable for either though, so i would consider it a good balance between the two. unfortunately the right cup edge curls out a fair bit, likely because of the previous wear, so for this reason i can see it under a shirt. all in all, i think the 32G could work out for me! fingers crossed https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 372 more words
