This bra is my perfect fit. I wore the Pollyanna for years and this fits basically the same. I am short in the torso and so the plunge allows me to wear nearly anything I like, the wires swing wide and low at the sides, more so than other brands - one of the reasons I love Freya. Fauve, Fantasie, others ... the wires all come up too high inside my armpit and cause pain and nerve issues. Enough stretch in the fabric to allow for the variation between sides. The wires poke into my ribs, but then less so than others, and I've never found a bra that doesn't.
"Friend with similar boobs": Mostly even shape, wide-set, slightly projected, lots of tissue migration (back into the boobs).
I usually go a size down with a Freya bra for several reasons. The cups are much wider than average for the same size, they're more open, sometimes the top is hard to fill, and they are molded for even shapes. Also, their bands seem to be stretchier than most. I'm mostly even, but maybe a little full on the bottom. I measure 33" around, snugly. I usually go for 32FF.
I needed a bra with bigger cups and a stretchier band for when I get my period (swell up ...a cup size). I decided to try a size up to see if it would reduce the slight (very slight) quadboob that I get from my 32FF bras when I am on my period. I think buying this bra was a case of, "Should have sized down".
The band stretches quite a bit. It does ride up slightly on the loosest hook. On the 2nd tightest hook it stays put. I have to scoop and swoop every little bit to fill the bra properly. Once I do that, it's fine. However, during the course of the day I have to re-scoop/swoop. I have to stand up absolutely straight to prevent gaping.
It fits as a fuller-coverage bra on me, which I wasn't expecting. I believe this probably has to do with it being slightly large. The straps are a good width and they're very comfortable on my shoulders. The wires are wide enough to include all the tissue, but not so wide that it irritates my axillary region. The fit gives me a smooth shape under clothes, and I do feel that it is very supportive.
Overall, a good bra. It encourages me to stand up straight and finally I have a bra that won't get too small for me after a month. Read more 214 more words
I love this bra so much that I've bought it multiple times and in multiple colorways (and I'm dying for the new dark blue one to go on sale!). It fits great and gives me the exact rounded shape I want under clothes, and it's cut low enough that I don't have to worry when I'm wearing scoop-neck shirts. The seams do show under thin or clingy tops but I mostly wear black so it's not too noticeable. The band is very stretchy and I am a little concerned about it stretching out (hence the investment in multiples). It's a great everyday bra.
Cute spring color scheme with very light spring leaf green for the inside/straps/lace/bows/trim and a white/light-light cream background with pastel flower-y geometric print.
Cups are still a slight bit tall, but that's just my short boobs and is only noticeable at the strap attachment points. Would not be a problem for most.
Depth seems fine for me - a little squished up, but not too much.
Wires are pulled out a little when I put it on, but when I sw/scoop, things seem ...to fill out nicely.
Straps are, of course, too wide-set on me. I'm not little, but my frame width is smaller than would be expected (shoulder-to-shoulder point is something like 12" on my otherwise L/XL body). I only tried on the bra, but the straps seem to stay put and don't cut in, so it's probably fine.
Will have to update after I wear it for a full day.
Cannot wear this bra as is. The depth is too small and squashes my boobs up at a crazy angle to try to squish them into the too-high apex.
I guess I'm just destined to not wear a Deco of any kind. If it fits my depth, the cup practically climbs over my shoulder. If I go small like this, the apex/angle/depth combo hurts just way too much. OUCH!
Will try once more at a different part of my cycle... Just on the off chance this is period related sensitivity.

I've realized that this bra would fit me if my boobs were taller or rounder. I have to tighten the straps more to keep it from being silly gape-y on the tops, so it cuts down on the projection, causing pain in my boobs from being pushed upward and kind of inward. Apex is too high. Read more 215 more words
This bra has always been too big for me but I thought the pattern was so cute that even though it wasn't in my size I snatched it up. I went through a phase where I wore it quite often but I never was a huge fan of the shape it gave me so it was mostly to work. It seemed to sag partway through the day, although I am not sure if that was due to improper fit or what. The band also seemed extremely stretchy, I feel that this bra I definitely could have gone down to a 32 and been better. The cleavage is not that impressive either. Overall, not my favorite. The straps fall off kind of often as well.
Just so you know for the future, Freya bra's have very stretchy bands! I measure as 29.5 as my underbust, but having had a 30FF Freya, I realized it fits more like a 32. I prefer that. I can wear a 32 band or 34 band in Cleo's, and depending on the bra, a 30 in Cleo. Freya's just have very stretchy bands, and Cleo is the opposite.
It's so pretty! It gives a lovely high pointy shape to my boobs https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_mrgreen.gif" alt=":D" /> it's nice and snug, really comfortable.
I definitely need to try a different size, because the cups are too big for me. I have a feeling though, that the wires may just be too wide to work for me.
band is comfortable but I am able to take up about 2 inches. This is even true with the band hooked on the tightest hook.
All photos were taken with the band hooked on the tightest hook
i do fill bottom and sides of cups but still have wrinkles/gapping at top of cup. its weird, with as much gaping as I feel I have in the top of the cups, I don't "fall out" when bent over and really shake breasts in the cup(maybe I am close to finding a style/size???)
Really strange, but it seems to minimize my breasts, as I measure 39" with this bra on and 40" without a bra.
I really love this bra. just wish it fit a little better
This is the first Freya bra I have ever tried on which has such narrow wires it really cannot enclose my boobs. I wish I had read the other reviews before I bought this one, as it seems I am not the only one with this issue.
I bought it NWT off an ebay retailer, thinking it would fit the same as the Freya Piper. Unfortunately, I find the band to be stretchier and the cups just a teensy bit taller. I don't know if the band isn't snug enough and causing overspill, but I can't fill the cups no matter how I swoop and scoop. If I move, everything falls out again. It's a beautiful bra that would probably work better for someone less conical/FOB. Interestingly enough, it has three columns of hooks instead of just two so it would probably last longer than the other longlines (like the Piper).
This is the only brand to fit at the sternum. Pretty, and gives me a good shape, but I'm concerned about tumbling out in the middle. Might be a shoulder width issue.
I have been trying to find this bra in my size forever and it popped up used so I grabbed it. Sadly it was too small in the cup for me and a quad like crazy.
The bra is beautiful and if I could find it in a 34-36g it would be perfect.
I like this bra for the lightweight and fit, although by a few hours, it feels really tight in the band. I hope it will loosen up as I measure 33 and it does, too, so I think it's me swelling up. The little buttons in the front center are cute. I think it still fits a bit low under the arms for me, but it's the best I've got right now! I have wrinkles in the top of the cup, but I will probably just dart it and keep it.
Gives a nice lift and shape, but a touch too small in the cup, unusual for this size for me. It's a near-miss; I keep wanting it to fit and thinking maybe it fits and then I readjust and it doesn't. I love the top embroidery, which looks like twisted DNA strands. Gore seemed a touch too high after a day's wear; unusual, though, as it's not higher than other bras I find comfortable; maybe the too-small cup exacerbated any issue. Also I'm wavering between trying to find this in a G or going up to a 36 band; have only worn this outside the house once, and it was comfortable in the beginning of the day and miserable by the end.
This bra gives great cleavage and a nice lifted and rounded shape. It has enough padding to be concealing but not too much "extra". The band fits a little tighter than my other Freyas in 34 but is still comfortable.
The fit of this bra is nearly spot on. I have ever so slight wrinkles at the very top, I think because this bra comes up a bit higher. It is a "balcony" but the shape of the cups is more angled like a plunge. It is more of a full coverage cup. Gives a natural shape (not round or too pointy). I really like the soft fabric, kinda silky and the print is cute.
I really like how this bra fits, it is much more comfortable than my previous bras which were too high in the gore. It was comfortable from the first time I wore it, it didn't need to be broken in at all. The band is very comfortable, maybe a little on the large side (I guess this is typical for Freya). I'm wearing it on the loosest hook and it doesn't ride up so it's fine, but I can pull it away from my back quite a bit. This bra goes with my natural shape, so it's not as "front and center" as my Panache Jasmine was. It's a great every day bra.
I adore this bra. It gapes very slightly at the top of the cup, but overall, it's my best fitting and most comfortable bra at this time. I could wear it all day.
Excellent bra for taller ladies! I have a long torso and, at 5'8", most straps are barely long enough this bra had inches to spare, <3
The wings on this bra are of the same material as the cups (minus padding) so they are very comfy and I don't think they would stretch too much.
This bra was too big in the cups and band for me, but I will definitely try to find it in my size! A huge thank you to andeepandee for giving me my first attempt at a fit!
