Didn’t work great for me but I think it’s a sizing issue? The bra itself is lovely. I found the gore a little high and annoying, which I’m finding is often the case for me. Slightly more of a pointed/torpedo shape than I would like. The band looks like it fits well but it kind of moves around on me a bit. I feel like it's really hard to get this in my IMF, but once it is there it doesn't migrate too much (might also be a fitting issue?). If you’re a larger cup size and have problems with gores rubbing or being uncomfortable this is probably not the one for you.
I love the peacock blue color of this bra, but it just did not have enough immediate projection for me. It sat below my IMF and a lot of wrinkling in the cup on armpit side of the cups. Unfortunately, the GG in my Prime Wardrobe order didn't have a shipping date so I couldn't see if a larger cup would work. One bright spot is that it's the closest I've gotten to a gore tacking in recent bra shopping. I'm center full with short roots and mild pectus excavatum so having a gore that tacks would be a unicorn bra for me.
Not nearly enough support. Maximum cleavage though, it really forces them together. There is a small space where the gore should lay flat and doesn't so it's just open space, I took a pic to show it. Straps feel too far apart. Band feels too tight.
This bra is pretty darn good, super comfortable and plenty supportive enough for most day to day activities. The lace details are really nice and in my opinion adds to the comfort.
Beautiful bra. It's supportive but I should have sized up in the cups. The center panel doesn't lie flat which is the biggest issue l tend to have with bras
Really cute, and lightweight because of only one hook. Cons: the one-hook may not give the most support for bigger boobs. But it supports mine just fine.
Likes: - Its pretty - Its strapless with removable straps
Dislikes: - The band feels very tight and hurts my ribs in my back if worn for too long - The cup seems too tall, it wraps into my armpit and there isn't enough breast tissue to fill the tops of the cup
I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this bra on. My biggest issue with most bras is wide wires and wide set straps that cause chafing to my tail of spence, but the Freya Fancies Half Cup sat very comfortably! The wires WERE at least an inch too wide for me but didn't cause any issues. I am very projected and found there to be enough space at the bottom of the cup, no folding going on. The gore sits flat until the very top where there is a small gap, but I suspect that I wouldn't be able to fill the cup if I went up a size. There is the slightest amount of overflow at the top when I swoop and scoop but as my breasts settle into the cup it disappears and I'm left with a smooth transition.
This was my first half cup after struggling with full cup bras. I wish these were still available as I would own one in every colour. Gave me a great "cakes on a plate" look without feeling like I was going to fall out. I could wear it for 9+ hours without issue.
I love this bra, it fits quite well. I have narrow roots so this bra has a good width for me. The only thing that is a negative is the band. It rides up slightly, I don't know if it's because it is too big or because this bra only has one hook.
Got this is a 34G. *Note: Bra is about 2 years old, but has held up because I don't wear it often.
Pros: 2 vertical seams provide lift, breasts are pointed forward rather than to the side, breasts rest gently in cups to provide natural cleavage, very cute design, very light padding helps conceal nipples. More rounded shape, which I like.
Cons: lace at the top of the cups is difficult if not impossible to hide under fitted shirts, cups are fairly soft allowing for a lot of bounce when walking, underwire goes fairly high towards the armpit (I'm short & short-waisted), straps are wide as with most balconette bras so they fall off sometimes, band was loose when I got it and is even more loose now.
I need this one cup bigger, so I haven't worn it in a while. It's so pretty though. For reference my everyday driver these days is my 34GG - Panache » Envy Balconnet Bra (7285) .
Typical Freya balcony design, the fit is Okay but the real reason I got it is because it was so pretty.
