I had to altered because the back was too strechy. I add some additional band to get a stabil construction. I like to touch the bra, because the satain material is very firm. The cup is from 4 section. Under the arm it is very narrow as all other bras I tried from Fantasie or Freya. It is not proper size for my but I use it at home. The back was not stabil enough. I compare to my usually used Panache Tango. The cup is 1 size smaller as the Tango. The shape is not comparable.
My favourite day to day bra is the goddessmichelle, and a number of the qualities I love about Michelle are also evident in adelaide: a comfortable wire that isn't too firm, making it instant friends with my squish, pretty lace that isn't too frilly, and a supportive but comfortable band. Michelle was made specifically for small cup/large band, though, and I don't believe Adelaide was, so that's kind of where the comparison stops. Adelaide might be the first strapless bra I've seen that isn't molded or even lined; it's thin and soft, with a lace band across the ...top of each cup. Giving each cup shape are two pieces of boning that curve outward when worn, helping the bra maintain its shape when worn. It's an interesting bit of engineering, and not uncomfortable at all, since the boning is flexible, but the cups are VERY tall. For someone with taller roots that probably isn't a problem, but I have quite short roots, so the top of the cup gaped and wrinkled. The wrinkling wouldn't have happened were the cup molded, but the gaping would have happened regardless. There also isn't nearly enough immediate projection at the wire, which is one of the most important things I look for in a bra. The comfort of the cup, and the softness of the band and underwire compared to a brand like panache or even Freya, means I probably could have survived wearing it, but I'd like to find something better than "surviving". The gore is too high and wide on this one to adequately handle my center-full shape, but the very, very slight quad I get isn’t enough to be uncomfortable or visible under clothes.
Due to the wide cups, this gives me a minimized, slightly east/west shape that’s still round, and the full coverage aspect locks everything down. Not my favorite, but a good, solid bra for times i don’t want to be as cleavage-y.
Compared to the Alice, this feels shorter. The center gore is only half a centimeter or so shorter, but it feels a lot different. Opaque fabric with a thin lining, as opposed to the Alice which has no lining and the top half is see-through lace.
Simple, yet effective. There's no frills to this bra but it does its job. It holds the girls up and in front and I can wear it comfortably all day. It's also a really affordable option.
I didn't like the plastic-y fabric, it was reminiscent of Playtex. Bra fits well like the Keira. Need a 38 band though. Also showed more under a t-shirt than the Keira.
Satin fabric feels great, gives great lift. 40 band too loose, can easily fasten on tightest hook. May repurchase in 38H. Seams show through scrub top.
I really wanted to love this bra out of the package, but the underwire was just to wide. liked it enough to do a great deal of bending and now I really do like it. Unbent the comfort was poor, bent the comfort is good.
Classic Caitlyn/Keira/Kayla fit/style Kayla is patterned others style. Saw it on an offer couldn't refuse with briefs so got it and love it encompasses breast tissues fully plenty of support .great straps that stay put and don't dig in as has just the right amount of stretch.Band is nice 3 hooks in 44 back so holds you nicely without squeezing you tight but you feel held and secure. Wires for me in 44DD are ok not digging/poking and lays flat on chest and don't press hard like some bra's i have. there isn't much more can write that hasn't been said about the Caitlyn style/fit I just love the style/fit/comfort of it plus the colour/pattern is great. Never seem to go far wrong with an Evden Brand Bra.Goddess/Elomi/Fantasie etc always seem to do what they say on the tin plus last well.
When I first got this bra, it was a little too big, but still wearable. Then, through homeward migration, weight gain, or witchcraft, my boobs grew and now I don't have space at the tops of the cups (I should probably redo the fit set with this bra). It's definitely one of the more comfortable bras I own, it doesn't do that digging-under-the-boobs-thing that some bras do.
Compared to what I was wearing (mama Mia 40DD and Victoria's Secret 38DD), this bra is ok. The wires were too wide and the cups too big. The wires poked me in the armpits.
Though, this is a 34G => 34F UK, so I'm orange-in-a-glass-ing all over the place. Band is slightly too stretchy for my taste, but I'm trying it in a 34H as soon as I can.
Not quite sure how I feel about the boning IN the cups. It's not stiff, though.
Pretty nondescript bra otherwise. Has the silicone-type sticky stuff along the entire bottom of the band (but the wire casings do cover up under the boobs) and along the top to the outer wire edges.
Straps have one attachment site for each side on the front and 2 in the back. (In the back view with strap picture, one is hooked to one and the other to the other.)
Cups seem... short? but the one I tried this time was too small, so that might be a part of the problem.
I got it and kept it and wore it. Fit me MUCH better.
That was before I lost even more weight, so I kind of think the other will be too big and this size would fit me now. Can't be sure since I haven't worn it since June.
(Yes, yes, Jj. I'm bad and haven't entered the 34H into the bratabase yet, even though I've had it since then.)
Oh, but if you have full-on-top or taller-root boobs, I really wouldn't suggest this bra. The cups do seem short/torpedo-y.
I stuck to Goddess bras for 12 years. I was sized wayyy back then and told that I had to have a Goddess bra. I was thankful when they came out with prettier, pared-down bras like Keira. This bra is very comfortable, supportive, and not bad looking, either. This bra lasts a long time, also. Washes well. The past few months I've noticed all my bras (36Is in goddess - Rose and @Keira) were not fitting right - boobs busting out of the top and bottom. I was finally sized for the first time in 12 years and told I am a 34J. I was told Goddess bras come in a a 34 band but they are still designed for women with a wider frame than me and wider breasts.
Thank you for including the measurements! :)
