NOTE: This is a narrower Gorsenia. The Bratabase average may be correct for narrower models. Please view the individual bra measurements to ensure you purchase what will best fit.
Whoa! I ordered this K221 (K200+ series) bra to test my hypothesis: there are two or more unlined Gorsenia patterns. This is the same size as my 65H Caramel, K000-K199 series. And, as I suspected, these are very different bras!! Bratabase continues to flag my measurements because of these differences. Please read more so you won't be bamboozled by the pattern differences.
The 65H differences (K200+ vs K000-199): Gore--1" shorter than the K000-K199 models. Cup width--1.2" more narrow than K000-K199 Cup depth--.7" deeper ...than K000-K199 Wire length--.9" shorter than K000-K199
These are dramatic dimensional differences, and I contend they are different patterns. The K000-K199 series fits wider, immediately projected, center-full breasts whereas the K200+ fits narrow, immediately projected, center-full breasts. 4.8" of width and 10.7" of depth: Cheri is incredibly narrow and deep.
Looking at the photos, you'll see I can't fill this cup. But, the 65H Caramel was a bit small. When selecting one of these lovely bras, please pay attention to model numbers and read the individual measurements per bra rather than the average. The average in Bratabase today excludes data from the K000-K199 models because it is so different from the K200+ models. So, if you order a K150 model, Bratabase will tell you it has a narrow cup width which is incorrect.
The color is gorgeous. I had little light today, but the color is a purple brown--mauve. This is one of my favorite "nude-ish" bra designs.
The cup, like several other Gorsenia models, provides excellent center projection. The gore width remains too wide for me at .8". The immediate projection may be great in this model, but when a cup is too narrow and I can't fit near the wire, I conclude otherwise. Someone more narrow than I will tell you the immediate projection is excellent https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The fabric is lightweight and supportive. And, the low gore height a welcome relief from the K000-K199's 1" taller gore.
The 4.8" cup width was too narrow for my comfort. If you have center-full, narrow, immediately projected breasts, you'll want to try the @Gorsenia K200+ models. Wider, projected, center-full breasts, try Gorsenia K000-199 models.
Jj, Nesoa, is it possible to split these model numbers into two different cuts? right now, all the unmeasured models and sizes default to average which is not strictly accurate?
Gorsenias variations in width are nice because they offer something for every shape, but SO confusing to me! I'd love to try more of their bras, but I'm hesitant due to the differences in the width and height of the cups.
Very very helpful, these in-brand model comparisons. Thanks a lot!
Gorsenia has definitely climbed higher on my wishlist since you wrote about their 200-fit style!
When I first saw this bra online on the Gorsenia website, I really was not all that excited. It wasn't that I didn't like the style of the bra. It was the colour that bothered me. It looked fuschia, but not really fuschia...it looked kind of flat in colour (if that makes any sense all).
In my true M.O., I started looking for other photos of it - photos on Instagram, or other bloggers' sites...but, still, I came up with nothing. So at full price, I passed.
When it went on sale for 50% off though, I decided to ask MagdaBras4you to order it anyway.
A few ...days later, Magda received it and sent me photos of it .
Side note: I love Magda's photos. When she buys me a bra set, she sends me photos. She's in Poland and I am over here, across the Pond in Canada. It takes 2 weeks sometimes for stuff to come in the mail. So, she sends me photos. Magda knows that I am eager to see the true colour in daylight, to get the lens up close to see the details, the seams, the textures of the fabrics and intricacies of the lace and embroideries, etc. - all the stuff that you can't really see in stock photos. Am I alone here, in thinking, "ok. it's nice to see that bra and panties set on that perfectly coiffed body in perfect studio lighting from 15 feet away, but seriously. People. Show me the details. Show me what will make me want to buy your bra over someone else's. Especially if it costs more than $25..."
OK. Rant over. Back to my point: Madera is a gorgeous intense shade of fuschia that is feminine but all grown up. There is no punk rock or Barbie doll pink here.
If you're looking at my pics...see the one that's a close up of the gore charm. That's the best representation of the true colour.
And the lace is beautiful. It is thicker than the lace used on the last, black lace Gorsenia bra called Caren that I reviewed. It is much closer to the quality and texture of the lace used on an Ewa Michalak BM (just less stretchy).
The construction is classic 3-part soft cup balcony. Stretch lace on the outside. Colour-matched mesh lining on the inside. There is one vertical seam in the lower half of the cup and there's the diagonal/horizontal seam that creates the top of the cup.
Yes, there are clear plastic stability strips lining the top edges of the cups.
The cradle and gore and wings are all are covered in lace, and part of the straps have lace also.
The straps are nice and wide on this size. It's the one thing I like most about 65H versus 65G. The straps are wider at this size. They adjust all the way up to the lace.
The band itself is colour-matched powermesh. There is side-boning, but as shown in the photograph, it is soft and flexes easily. It causes me no discomfort whatsoever. There are 3 rows of 2 hooks and eyes. I consider it to be TTS. Super soft and comfortable.
The gore is adorned with a small satin bow and one of the more intricate crystal charms that I have seen.
This bra fits me wonderfully. I wore it for 24 hours straight and never adjusted it or wished I could rip it off. It gives a nice soft, natural but slightly rounded shape.
****However, it must be noted that this bra IS a 65H and I usually wear 65G in Gorsenia softcups. All 3 of the full lace softcups that I ordered from last season's collection were sized small and I had to re-order. Yes, it was an annoying sizing inconsistency, but at least it was consistently inconsistent - meaning all 3 full lace bras were smaller that the half knitwear/lace Gorsenias that I own.****
Measurements are recorded and demonstrate everything that I love about Gorsenia softcups: narrow U-shaped wires, deep cups with a lot of projection at the wire (without expecting bullet-like projection at the bra apex) and they don't eat my armpits with ultra-wide-set straps and high wings.
Classic mid-briefs/hipsters make the set. They are a perfect size S (fits more like a North America or UK size XS). Lace trim on the front and back is a nice extra. This cut is super comfortable for all day, every day wear, even for a Brazilian-loving girl like me. Read more 640 more words
Oh good gravy. Cakes. On. A. Plate! But Iām not complaining. Iāve been looking for a vertical seamed bra for a while. I ordered this the same time I ordered my Arctic, so I ordered this 65H. Iām glad I didnāt go for an I cup. The cups would have been way too wide and the straps too far apart for me. I do feel the cups are more of a shallow wide fit compacted to their soft cups and semi-soft cups. Back band is true to size for a 30, with a 2x3 hooks. Straps are fully detachable front and back and fully adjustable. So you could ...easily swap out straps to clear or something fancy if you have them or wish to purchase some. The inside of the cup has cookie pockets, but the bra did not come with any. If you donāt like the cookie pockets, they are only attached at the wire and can easily be removed by cutting it out. Thereās a pretty nude lace overlay, over nude cups. There is a small disco ball looking gem on the center gore along with a mesh covered keyhole cutout. I get a soft-tack with this bra most likely due to a shallower cup. This bra gives me an extremely round In Yo Face boobs. Again, not complaining. Sometimes I want a little extra oomph. AGBras Iām so so thankful I saw your reviews on the brand. Had I never seen them, I wouldnāt have a clue they existed. Whatās strange is the bra recommendation on here only ever give me brands I used to buy that somewhat fit a million years ago. It never recommends anything outside what Iāve entered. Even then, it keeps recommending bra brands that are always too wide for me. This is where data and publicly shared reviews become so important. It allows people to branch out.
This bra feels made for me, right down to the pretty details and colors. Really narrow wires and perfect projection. The only things about this bra that are a little less awesome are the loose embroidery and the total roundness of the cups. I know a lot of women like that really round shape, but I am always looking for a slightly more natural or retro look. I expect that from Polish companies though. I can wear this bra for hours and still feel very comfortable. Love it.
Such a gorgeous bra! I adore the straps, too. Beautiful on you! :-)
Thank you :D
Wow your bra is so pretty on you and the embroidery is gorgeous. And I agree with you on preferring the more retro look with bras. I am glad that there are bras from Poland that give that retro look.
I just bought a Samamta that has the retro shape some of my Fantasie bras have, so I'm quite happy with it :D
I don't know why I waited so long to try Gorsenia out - this is one of the most comfortable bras I've ever worn. The cups run deep and projected, so definitely try a cup size down - unless you're EXTREMELY full on top and very projected. I love how lightweight and sheer the Paradise bra is while still offering incredible support and shape. The cups are made up of two layers of very fine tulle - one very light beige/illusion mesh, and then overlaid with a colour (red, in this case), in a 3-part shape with satin binding across the seams. I love the simple overbust strap ...and eyelash lace accent. My only issue is that it's a 65 (UK 30) band, so I am already wearing it on the tightest hook and I worry I won't get as much wear out of it that I would like since it will be a regularly worn style. I'm unsure if it comes in 60 (28) bands at all, but it doesn't on the Brastop site where I bought mine from. Read more 72 more words
Gorsenia Margo Unlined Balconette (K-279) is very comfortable balconette for me, it fits my body shape very well. The straps are thin and cute, but they do not hurt. Whole bra is of very cute flowery design, though lower part of cups loses its color by time, sadly (as seen on my pictures). The cup is slightly bigger than most of my 65H bras, I would call it "big H". It stretches nicely, but at the same time holds everything in place and stays where it should. I recommend this bra - though be careful when choosing the proper size - it was a bit too big when i bought it last year, but now I got liitle more fat due to coronavirus stay-at-home and it fits perfectly https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";)" />
the lace looks like it's meant to curl at the top the way it does. Like "look at me. I'm lace. I'm dainty. Oh la la."
Actually it maybe really is :) I just noticed that there is a silicone strap near the lace (never noticed that earlier!) and i think it could make it behave like this :)
When you find āThe Brandā for you, you stick with what works. And this brand is for me! Nice narrow underwires, and comfortable with a 30 band thatās spot on on the last set of hooks. Unfortunately I think I need one cup up in this particular bra. It is wearable, but I get some slight quad-boob. Even with a slightly small cup it still has a nice shape to it. The color is absolutely beautiful. Itās a deep muted aqua/green-ish color. The fabric is smooth and soft. The top of the cup has a thin band of plastic like material to help keep the lace in shape. ...The lower portion of the cup is a silky fabric with the top portion of the cup consisting of two layers. An embroidered lace over a fine mesh in coordinating color. Band has very flexible boning on the sides with evenly distributed elastic along the top and bottom of the band, so no digging in. Straps are a soft flexible elastic that are fully adjustable. Center gore is narrow and has a small bow with a teardrop shaped pendant crystal hanging from it. Overall itās a lovely bra and will consider purchasing in a cup up. Gorsenia just earned themselves a loyal customer. Read more 103 more words
They really impressed me with the space for center fullness. Unfortunately, the newer models have the very narrow wires, and I need the old models' wider wires.
Gorgeous!! Hope the 65I is a perfect fit!
They really impressed me with the space for center fullness. Unfortunately, the newer models have the very narrow wires, and I need the old models' wider wires.
Welcome to my happy world!! Gorsenia is my unicorn bra too. Go see Paradise...you will love it (and it's coming in blue and red soon).
NB. The full lace ones fit 1/2 cup smaller and the ones that look like Rebecca/Parisienne are more closed on top and give very slight east-west. You can see photos of me wearing all of them in my account
Love4Pollinators Indefinitely appreciate the center fullness aspect of their bra cups. And for me the narrower the wires the better. From what Iāve recently found Gorsenia padded vertical seamed cup bras might run wider in the wires. I have a 30H I ordered at the time I ordered this one on the way to me. Once I get it I can truly confirm if thatās the case. I recently tried a fabulous Kris Line that had nice deep cups, but the wires were too wide for me. Maybe a brand worth checking out to see if it works for you.
Love4Pollinators I have a couple of older Gorsenias and the same is definitely different from the current pattern. Unpadded and padded halfcu7p/balconettes are still much wider. Also, the styles based on Parisienne are a **little** wider.
AGBras I definitely appreciate all the bra brands and data youāve added. Itās so helpful when it comes to searching for brands to try. I honestly wouldnāt have given this brand a second thought otherwise. I wore my Arctic all day yesterday and itās as comfortable as my Madera. I love the Madera so much I snatched up a Caren as well. Buy all the braaaaasssss. My bank account hates me right now lol.
I did not want this bra, but it was the least expensive of the Gorsenia deep plunge models. Was I wrong! Wow! I feel like royalty in this bra. The tonal ivory polka dots, shimmering satin, and silver embroidery are an unforgettable combination. This bra is stunning in person....and, I am a proclaimed "minimalist." My resolve has weakened https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
Plunge wires are generally wider at the base of the gore. This is a problem for me because the wires, literally, sit on my breasts along the base of the gore. Amore Mio is no exception. It is wide at the base, narrow ...at the top, and wonderfully short in stature.
If you are close set, you may need to bend the wires of the deep plunge (make the curve steeper) and sew the cups closer together to reduce the distance between the cups. Otherwise, the unlined and half cup Gorsenia bras are just as beautiful and have more narrow gore bases.
This cup is wide-6.8". Wide, shallow users, here is a gorgeous bra for you. Narrow, projected users, we should run along....unless we like to alter. The cup can be narrowed and more projection created. Subsequently, the band may require an extender.
Five more Gorsenia arriving soon: I'm excited https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Beautiful on you! Gorsenia does some lovely bra designs! I really enjoy them too and wish I was not outsized for the padded styles.
roxannelovesbras That is disappointing. I hope they expand their sizes so you can tell us how the padded bras fit you. By the way, I'm green with envy regarding the quality of your photos. I've used both my phone and tablet cameras but they are not nearly as sharp and bright as your photos. What is your secret? Without good photos, I'm not able to capture the beauty of these fabrics. Thanks for sharing :-)
When using an iPhone, light is the key factor for good photos so I tend to be in front of a window where I can get natural light. Lately though I have been using my Canon Rebel and again light is the big factor in capturing details.
This is such a beautiful bra! Where did you order from? I've been looking through Misterna recently.
I was thinking about buying this bra to replace my EM pl cuts but I guess I'll have to look else where.
gratiat Other Eden....they sell directly on their website and through Amazon as well as EBay.
@violetknight Sadly, that is a great decision. Sigh. However, they make a half cup in this fabric.
Beautiful on you!! So sorry about the wire issues. :( I don't suppose bending them wider would help; just a thought.
Wanabee, I will try by creating a steeper slope near the gore, narrowing the gore base, and changing the cup width. This is such a beauty I want to find a way to make it work :-)
You are our resident MacGuyver--why do you suggest bending the wire wider? You know many things I don't. Thanks for enlightening me :-)
Oh, Love4Pollinators, you give me much more credit than I am due! š
I was just thinking; some IMF's are not perfect curves or arcs. Some have "corners" (smaller curves, often at the base of the gore) that are persecuted by perfectly curved wires that follow the greater primary curve of the IMF. If this is your problem, you might be able to bend the wires to fit these irregular curves; first by bending smaller curves into the wires at the base of the gore, and then out, at the wings, to compensate for the smaller inner curves. š
Love the shape of this. I wonder if the wires will get narrow enough in my size range.
Wow! Looks awesome! Is it comfy?
letstalkaboutbras The semi-soft models have more narrow cups (e.g. 70F was 9.9" deep and 4.8" wide). Additionally, the cups are bigger, significantly, than Comexim. Sometimes, a 65K Comexim 3HC is big enough for me, but a 65H/70G Gorsenia has sufficient space.
Love4Pollinators Hmm, interesting. I'm wondering about this half cup style... I'll probably need a smaller size than I anticipated, but also a model with a band that runs super tight...
Wow! I can see why you like it. Very sexy even though not a plunge.
NOTE: This is a wider Gorsenia. The average data Bratabase shows for this model (and all wider Gorsenia models) is incorrect. Please view the individual bra measurements to ensure you purchase what will best fit.
Wow! This unlined bra fits better than any other I've tried. And, the support is as good as my Shock Absorber. Whoa. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" />
Although the gore is too wide at the top and the bottom, the center projection is better than any other brand I've worn. The immediate projection is stellar: it did not collapse while I was driving. Every other wired bra I have owned failed the "driving ...test."
The wires perfectly follow my root along my smaller breast, and I do not have the lingering bruising sensation wired bras often bestow on my body. Most wired bras I can wear for a few minutes, but this bra passed the two hour mark with ease. No bruising. Wonderful. However, the wire was sitting on the inside and outside of my smaller breast. So, I may need a 65I.
I suspicion my soft tissue is compressible. This characteristic may be the cause of the swelling that is all too familiar in wired bras. For instance, I didn't notice my breasts were compressed in the 65G Caramel until they could expand in the 65H Caramel. Routinely, others have suggested I need to "try a smaller size." This has been very unwise, painful advice to follow. It also resulted in a large, swollen lymph node. I share this as an aid to others who may have compressible tissue. Listen to your breasts. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> Here is an album with photos of my breasts in various levels of compression: http://www.bratabase.com/albums/bgv/
The cup height near my shoulder is my nemesis. It is too tall. The gore height is comfortable, but the width is not. The gore base, which I had hoped would be narrower, is too wide, like every other brand I've tried. When removing the bra after a 2 hour trial, the typical wire impression was visible around half of one breast. My breasts do not tolerate wires without significant swelling https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":-(" /> Wireless bras for me until the designers create dramatically different wired bras.
Yay! I'm so happy that you found a bra that meets most fit criteria! I ordered 3 Gorsenia models a couple weeks ago, so now I'm even more excited to get them in the mail!
Woo! Bra that works sometimes!
cupandahalf Imagine my surprise and elevation ;-) ;-)
@Wilderness1 I hope you, too, find something to love about your Gorsenia bras. The price makes it so much easier for me to purchase them. And, they fit me better than Comexim, Ewa Michalak, Lejaby, Empreinte, Curvy Kate, Freya,....better than the others. :-) Sigh. Finally.
alanapoppy This brand may be a good option for you. The K200 series has particularly narrow wires. This model is from the K000 series. I don't know anything about the K100 series....yet ;-)
After having 100% success rate with Gorsenia soft cups made with knitwear lower cups and embroidered or lace upper cups, I decided to try the 3 full lace models that they released last season: Caren (black), Madera (fuschia) and Simena (deep violet grey).
At first, MagdaBras4you sent me the 3 bras in my usual size - 65G. However, much to our surprise, they were too small!! Especially this one - Caren. It was the smallest of them all.
I often read here that bras made in black colourways often fit smaller than the same style in other colours. I have found this to be true for my ...3 black Gorsenia bras. My half-knit softcups are indeed smaller but still fit in 65G, but this one was MUCH smaller. Why? I do not understand this, since the fabrics are cut after dying. hmmmm...
Magda sent me this bra again, this time in 65H and it fits perfectly and its measurements are consistent with my 65G halfknits. BIZARRE.
Caren is a very simple black lace bra with black mesh lining. The lace is delicate and fine with a subtle floral pattern. There is some stretch to the lace, however, not as much as is in the lace of an Ewa Michalak full lace BM bra, nor is the lace as thick or as soft/smooth as would be found on a BM. However, it is still a very nice lace, especially considering the price - regularly about $50, on sale for half that. It also lays flatter, and is invisible under a coloured t-shirt (I find the thick pattern of EM lace shows through t-shirts and tops).
The cups of this bra are sewn in classic 3-part balcony style with 1 vertical seam.
Yes, there is a clear plastic stability strip lining the top of the cup.
The gore and wings are also transparent lace like the cups.
The band is made of black powermesh. It has 3 rows of 2 hooks.
There is side-boning on the wing, but it is very soft and flexible, and quite comfortable. I find Gorsenia wings to fit low, so no arm-pit digging.
The only adornment is a small satin bow at the gore and the lace that extends up over the straps.
The straps on this size are wider than those on a 65G. I LOVE this. They are fully adjustable.
I chose brazilian panties to make the set. They are soft and a super nice cut.
After wearing the bra for a full 24-hour day(I slept in it too) on a bust and ribcage that is presently sore and bruised from surgery, I can attest to the high level of comfort of this bra. Not once did I beg to get out of it.
Another softcup win for me from Gorsenia. Read more 354 more words
Wow this bra is so beautiful! I'm not a big fan of Polish bras (other than EM of course) because I find the design too flashy. But I must admit that Polish brands have come a long way and their latest creations have nothing to be ashamed of. Thanks for letting us discover all these beautiful findings. This one looks great on you!
Looks great but odd how the bra looks blue in the pictures not on you.
That is beautiful! Looks like a perfect fit!
Calluna just how my camera caught the light. It's black.
Gosh I was sad this bra (and the Miriam and Audrey) didn't fit.... they are so so gorgeous, but the cups are just too wide. See my 65H review for the Miriam -there were some minor measurement variations, but the fit was the same. Note that the 65H Audrey fit slightly larger at the top (more open or taller perhaps?) than the other two cuts I tried. Edited for typos.
These wires seem similar to those used in the K000-K199 balconettes. Interesting. Thanks so much for your data, review, and photos. They are gorgeous!!
Sorry they weren't more detailed, I was super tired when I wrote them :)
Wilderness1, You traded sleep for a bra review??? We are extra fortunate to have your review :-D
This bra is definitely one of my top 10 faves...for fit, style, comfort, colour, everything.
Simena is listed as "grey", but it is not grey. It is a dusty purple. It reminds me of Concord grapes with that white/grey film on them. It's very different and very pretty.
The lace is soft and stretchy and has a nice floral motif. The 3-part classic balcony cups have colour-matched mesh lining on the 2 bottom sections while the upper section is left unlined.
There is a clear stretch plastic stability strip trimming the top edge of the cup. I just barely fit into this size, so it creates a slightly shirred effect ...which I love. I get no cutting in/quad boob from these strips, even in the smaller size.
I usually wear 65G in Gorsenia softcups, but had to size up to 65H in the 3 full lace softcups that I own.
Because it is a 65H, the straps are wider. They are also a little wider set than those on a 65G but not enough to bother me or slip off my shoulders.
Apart from a small, simple color-matched satin bows on the straps and gore, Simena has no decoration. This allows for the unique colour to shine. And from the photos you can see that the lace does have sheen. It catches the light and appears to be more violet in some lighting.
The band is TTS and is made from colour-matched opaque power mesh. There are 3 rows of 2 hooks and eyes.
The matching hipster panties are made from colour-matched matte microfiber and have a lot of the lace on them and have a Brazilian look. They are very comfortable and sizing is consistent with what I have come to expect from Gorsenia S.
Again, I have to thank MagdaBras4you for getting me this set šš Read more 198 more words
I love this color. So ladylike but also soft and calm. I'm happy it worked for you!
That colour looks great on you. It looks like a cool grey to me, but I can see that it does look purplish also. š
Sovavosi it is greyed, but indeed very purple. I asked my kids, "what colour is this?" They both answered purple ;) I remember my mother's living room once had carpet of this same colour...it was called "woodland violet"...it's lovely no matter what we call it ššš
I have a set of towels like this. It's grey, purple, or brown depending on the temperature of the light hitting it. My husband likes to call them "the dress" set of towels.
I love the color. š This style looks great on you. It gives you a more projected look.
Oh wee. This bra doesnāt match my shape at all! The cups on this bra are very shallow and very wide! Wires go an inch and a half past where my boob ends on the side. The band is a wonderful firm 30/65. The color nude is a pinky-nude and would look great on very fair skin tones. The outer fabric on the cups is as sewn very well against the inner cup. Straps are detachable from both front and back, allowing for many ways to configure them under different kinds of outfits. But due to the wide cups they sit way too far apart for me and cause some quad-boob. Had this bra had narrower wires with more projected cups it would probably have been a favorite of mine. But sadly it has to go back.
About me: center full and close set, full on bottom with tall, gradually sloping roots that make me functionally even in some respects, narrow and projected
Holy straps in my arm pits, bat man! These cups are wider than I need, plus my having a short torso, plus the placement of the straps makes this bra a nonstarter for me. It's a shame because it's got plenty of center and (I think) immediate projection, which I really need. The gore is close enough together and the splay at the bottom isn't very far out, which helps with the amount of room at the center. I ...can't speak to how it would wear over time because it was too ridiculous proportions-wise to wear for more than trying on.
The bra itself is quite lovely. It's a cream/beige 3 part cup that's stiffer than Freya half cups, probably on par with Comexim, which I appreciate because it feels sturdier and more supportive to me. Then, on top of the beige, there's a black and metallic silvery-beige lace that looks nice IMO. The band isn't overly stretchy like I've encountered with some Gorsenias.
I think this bra would work better for someone who is taller/taller in the torso than I am. That may cut down on the cutting in, but maybe not.
Editing to add: it has cookie pockets, too! Can't believe I forgot. My first bra with them! Read more 135 more words
Itās such a lovely looking bra. So sorry it didnāt work out for you. I found that their vertical seamed bras are wider and shallower compared to their three part cups. The one I have also has straps that are rather far apart. Because of this I donāt reach for it much.
I was hoping it might be a Comexim dupe, and maybe it is and I just need a different size? But at least I was able to add a bra and info that wasn't already on here. Does that make it uncharted territory and therefore my boobs are like Lewis and Clark? XD
Bootyfoots Hahaha I just laughed and almost spit my coffee out out at ātherefore my boobs are like Lewis and Clarkā haha I do love the brand and itās worth trying a size down to see if you can get a better fit in this cut. With the similar one I have I sized down a cup and found it worked. Which was cool because they didnāt make an āIā cup if I remember. I just ordered a Gorsenia Fantasy half-padded bra. Also new and not listed on here yet. Luckily that one was made in my size, considering that style is usually cut off at an āHā cup. If only we could wave a magic wand and have the perfect size to fit without all the trial and error.
This is a sheer, sexy looking bra. The embroidery is gorgeous, and it runs up part of the length to the straps. Just a beautiful bra (I also tried the Salma and Audrey). This cup fit similarly to the Salma, but not as gapey along the upper edge like the 65H Audrey. The material isn't the softest, so the bra wasn't the most comfortable. The shape was part awesome uplifted round, but (on me at least), also gave me a weird squared boob affect on the front of my breasts. Odd. Not sure if that was just because it was new? The cups are very wide, the gore base quite narrow.
This is a wide bra-6.6". But, it contains all of my breast tissue, doesn't cause my lymph nodes to scream, and holds all of my breast tissue in its cradle. Most often, my side tissue is uncomfortably bisected by a wire, but this 6.6" wire has encapsulated all my side tissue. Although the Gorsenia half cup I recently tried had excellent immediate projection, this design is wide and shallow. There is a Gorsenia bra for everyone https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_wink.gif" alt=";-)" />
Note for short-waisted Bratabase users: I'm not wide rooted. However, wing heights taller than 3.25" gouge breast tissue that resides in my armpit. If the cup ...width is narrow and the wings taller than 3.25", my underarm tissue and perhaps lymph nodes are bisected. I have not yet found a bra with short enough, narrow wires to prevent this bisection. So, wider wires are fitting me better.
The firm band also helps keep my side tissue forward. This band provides great support. The mesh is not as fine as Comexim's wing mesh, but it remains comfortable. The wings are one layer of black mesh.
Fabrics are not as fine/soft as Comexim and Ewa Michalak, and the fabrics feel like they have a higher plastic content. However, the seams are nearly invisible under thin knits. Advantage Gorsenia.
Finally, the base of the gore was too wide. After a few minutes, the wire was impressioned along my most center-full breast. This didn't happen when I wore the Gorsenia half cup. So, the half cup is a better style for me.
Great review...thank you! I like this brand too because their soft cups are gorgeous but the fit is tricky...one downfall. Plus the support is not quite the same as other brands. Still tend toward them for their pretty fabrics on the soft cups though :)
If you overlapped the wires at the gore, would this solve your problem. You've done it before. :)
Wanabee It is possible :-) There are (gulp) several other Goirsenia models arriving soon. I'll pick a few to modify after they all arrive.
The band is tight enough, I'll take an extender with the alteration. :-)
Ok; yes, I hadn't thought about the alteration reducing the size of the band.
I was really hoping that this bra would fit like an EM CHP. It has 3 vertical panels and cookie pockets like the CHP, but sadly, as I feared, there's just not enough projection. The gore won't tack and it pushes the underwire/band to dig into my ribs.
It's a nice bra for the money but it ain't no CHP. Back it goes...
Gorsenias bras are only super deep in soft construction. the rest i find not deep and I was not able to get a tacking gore. However I have to say they are very comfortable bras. Another lingerie brand with very deep cups is @Lupoline but i find their wires very stiff and I get a pain in the gore area
How beautiful it is! Shame it is so wide and shallow.
It's really pretty! Shame about the fit
This is so pretty, too bad about the fit though :(
Very transparent bra! The band and cups feel true to size. The wires are quite narrow and rather soft ( comparing to Cleo's). Cup's fabric is stretchy , I've measured 25cm cup depth, but if I stretched the cup over my knee it could be up to 27-28 cm. The construction of the cup in its upper side part is strange and uncomfortable, but maybe that's because of the size ( the bra was big). I felt the seams ( straps and eyes and hooks connection ) a little scratchy. But this was unworn/new bra, so hope after washing everything gets better.
This is so helpful. Thanks!
