First Kris Line bra I ever had, I never liked the designs. I bought it accidentally on a flea market for $4 and wanted to try it out. Surprisingly it fits and has a lot of immediate projection (or at least what I believe this is called), giving me a great boost. I will definitely look into more KL bras in the future.
This is my 2nd Kris Line half cup, and it’s the 2nd one that has a really stretchy band. So my consensus is that the half cup cuts run loose in the band. Also, it’s so funny, in the regular soft cup bras the bands fit TTS but the cups seem too large compared to the same size in the half cups (the 70HH Fortuna soft cup was too large/baggy in the cups but perfect on the band, but the 70HH Kiara half cup fits well for my in the cups even though the band is too loose ...— so my conclusion is to size up for the cup in the half cups and down in the bands compared to whatever size fits in the regular Kris Line soft cups.)
This bra is gorgeous! It’s burgundy lace with a cheetah print band on the top. Half cups really give me a nice shape — I get a little lift and “oomph” to my bust and a good silhouette under clothes.
This half cup is too small and short in the cups, so too much of the top of my bust shows. It looks okay in my pictures, but in person you can definitely tell the cups are slightly too low. The wires are VERY narrow. I didn’t notice it hurting or anything, but I can tell if I wore this long term that it would be an issue. Just looking at the wires with the bra off tells me they’re too narrow. The gore is the perfect height! Compared to my 70HH - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000), the gore is shorter and doesn’t sit on tissue. I’m not sure how the gore would fit on a size up, though.
I’d I’m able to do a return to jagna.pl, I’m going to try this in a 65I. I think that size will be what works for me for these half cups.
(PS: just a note on an observation from buying quite a few Kris Line bras directly from Poland — I’ve noticed that most of the Kris Line bras I’ve purchased that have come straight from their warehouse have an odor (almost like a stale cigarette smell). Not sure if it’s the dyes/materials or if it is cigarette smoke for real, but just something to be aware of is anyone is considering purchasing any Kris Line bras from Polish websites that stock from their warehouse directly. The odor does go away after being washed, but just something to be aware of.) Read more 328 more words
Congrats on the bra win!! I don't remember odor on the bra I purchased - which was actually directly from KrisLine.com (I used a proxy buying service to purchase bras in Poland, even though I live in Canada). It was Kris Line Fortuna (here is my review) which was directly from their website.
I've never had an issue with odor - NeVER - with my Polish bras.
The only issue I've had are the made-in-China bras, Panache wired sports bra. Why is there always an odor with this bra? No matter how much you wash it, there's always a factory smell with Panache wired sports bra, am I the only one who notices this?? I've had two different ones. Also, I have a super sensitive nose, lol. (I mean, sense of smell).
This is so gorgeous on you!! I love the lace detailing in the back
Love this bra, super comfortable, love the coverage, love the neckline. Band is nice and snug. I’m not a huge fan of white, but with this bra I don’t mind so much. It’s very pretty! It fits me very well, the only minor fit complaint is (fortunately and unfortunately) that I’ve lost some weight, so this bra is a teeny bit big. I’m going to hold on to it though because I’ll still be able to wear it for a little while longer at least. Who knows, it could even slightly shrink after being washed.
This is the first of a few Polish bras I bought on reddit. My first try with Kris Line. The sizing of KL is kinda difficult to figure out. They don't follow EU sizing like other Polish brands (Ava, Gorsenia, Comexim...) where my size of 32J/JJ usually translates to 70M/N. Also they don't follow UK sizing as they don't go up in inch per cup size but in 2cm steps. So buying this bra was kind of a shot in the dark. Since it was very afforable I took the risk and just hoped for the best.
The bra looks really nice, materials feel good on the skin, the ...straps are a dream of every big chested girl as they are super wide and comfy! The wires don't look very narrow to me, more average, the cups are deep and roomy. The cups are made of 2 layers of thin non stretchy embroidered mesh. The material is very light weight. The band is made of thick elastic fabric. The is some side boning which kinda annyoys me, it's very weak but it still stabs a bit.
My shape: tall, narrow to average wide roots, full on top, projected, center heavy
This size 75KK is actually too big for me. By the look of it and measurements I would say it equals to UK 34JJ-K. The band is stretchy and too large for me even if I close it on the tightest setting. (But also too big cups make a band feel larger!) The cups are too tall (!) for me and too large on top. I fill out the bottom just fine and there is no wrinkling. So the bra has good projection from the wire and would work very well for fob shapes. The straps are 3cm wide and feel fantastic, I just wish they werent so wide set.
I cannot say if the bra is supportive in large sizes, as this bra doesn't do much for me my but maybe it's because it is too big? The top part of the cups I cannot fill. I assume it's about 2 cup sizes too big? So this would mean my KL size would be 75JJ or 70K? I don't think it's a bad bra and if I get the change I'd love to try 70K and see if the fit issues go away in a smaller size. Read more 288 more words
I have been wondering about Kris Line. I see them on sale at Zulilly from time to time. This is a helpful review. 6.9" width seems like it is fairly wide, but with depth of 15.0" and depth ratio 2.2 -- it does not look too wide in side view.
I just measured the bra and was surprised the cup depth is about what I need currently in a bra! I held the bra over another bra I worn and tried to pull the band around me and as tight as possible and it looked like the cups suddenly fit?! I think I could alter down the band on it and actually wear it then.
dfe98we Interesting about those measurements. Can we compare bras here by their depth ratio? Or do we have to do the math ourselves :D
kate166 recently did a review of an unlined Comexim half cup, and we kind of came to the conclusion the unlined Polish half cups don't get nearly enough attention on this website. So I will try to do my part to rectify this by reviewing this unlined Kris Line half cup.
First off, it's a beauty! It reminds me of the embroidered Aubade half cups I used to wear back in the days when I still fit into them. They were flimsy little things, but beautiful! This Kris Line number is far less flimsy, and at least as beautiful, so that's a win for me. The ...cups are made out of fine, stable tule with an abstract floral pattern embroidered onto it, and the color is a gorgeous deep aubergine. The embroidery also covers the front part of the band and the straps, which is a nice touch.
Technically, it fits, but there are some issues.
First of all, it's a 65 band. I normally (and according to every calculator, should) wear a size 70, but this 65 band feels quite roomy. I also got one in a 70 band in my order, and that band was exactly the same length. Maybe this 65 bra is labeled incorrectly, or Kris Line may not be the most size consistent brand. Anyway, the band isn't horizontal in the back, but I don't think it's supposed to be; even when I let out the straps fully the band curves up in the back. It doesn't ride up during the day, so I'm going to go with it.
The cups are very narrow and deep, deeper and more narrow than any Ewa or Comexim I've ever tried, so all you super narrow ladies out there, this may be an interesting option for you! Normally half cups give me a very rounded (or even flattened, when they are too shallow) profile, but this model is so deep that it gives me a slight, vintage looking peak. I quite like this look under tight turtlenecks.
The narrowness is exacerbated by a couple of pretty aggressive side slings (the darker part on the outer area of the cup is the side sling). This pushes the breast tissue even more front and center than the narrow wires already do. For me, the side sling is too aggressive; even though the cup fits me width wise, the side sling pushes my breasts too far in and up, especially on the bottom part (I don't know if you can see this in the pictures, but from the side the wire seems to be sitting a little below my IMF. It is not. The side sling is just pushing my breast tissue up within the cup). It does give a very lifted front and center profile, and it doesn't show at all under clothes, so I may leave it, but if it bothers me I may take the side sling out.
What I particularly like is that this model is a true half cup, that is, the top of the cups create an almost fully horizontal line across my body. Ewa half cups have this too, but Comexim half cups have a much higher side wing, which makes them almost look like plunges on my very short boobs.
The 65FF cup is a smidge small at the moment, but I am anticipating some more weight loss, so I'll keep it (it was the last size available and heavily discounted).
Last little thing: the lace at the very top of the cup curves out a tiny bit, due to elastic band sewn along the top edge of the cup. This make the top edge appear a little bumpy under clothes.
In all, I like it a lot, and I strongly suggest people who need very narrow and deep bras to consider this as a half cup option. It also comes in several other pretty colours! Read more 542 more words
Looks cute, sure it does ! Yet the back.. Kind of kills it. I mean, deep narrow cups could benefit even more from a solid wide back & wings that would evenly distribute the load on the outer side of underwires without risk of excessive spread.
Weirdly enough, the back is much better when I wear the band less tight! This also mostly fixes the issue with the tight side slings, I guess the wires were bent out of shape by my fastening the bra too tightly.
I'm wearing it on the outer most hooks now, and it doesn't ride up. I don't know why, but this band feels much looser than it is.
I tried 2 Krisline half cups: Afrodyta and Tiffany. Afrodyta was wonderfully narrow and deep, so I ordered Tiffany. Tiffany arrived and was a wide shallow nightmare. Ive had many Krislines and none of them had backs like this. They are consistently looser than ALL other Polish 65s though (with Kinga coming right behind).
Very pretty! I like the look of bras like this, but I would guess that the texture of the lace might show under clothing. How did you feel the actual cups look under clothing, was the texture visible?
I’ve also had some bras that feel weirdly large in the band, but in actuality they aren’t. How is the stretch on the band? I just tried one that definitely felt big at first, but the band was extremely firm, so it was fine as it didn’t move around.
It’s so frustrating though when bands come in inconsistent, so you don’t know what size to order. I have had this happen with Freya quite a bit. Hopefully you just got a fluke here.

Charlotteke , Tightening the hooks narrows the wings/band and they loose torsion momentum I guess. IMHO this should have been a 3 hooks at least.
Reason why 4, 5 and more hooks backs seldom ride up and tolerate a wider spectrum of band mis-fits before taking the elevator.
to me it looks like a design flaw in the bra. The straps a set very wide in the front and quite narrow in the back, so they're pulling on the band at an acute angle and causing the distortion you're experiencing. I think this explains why when you loosened up the band, the problem was not as exaggerated, as it changed the angle at which the straps were pulling on the band.
I could be completely wrong though :) just my two cents
AGBras that's a bummer! It sounds like Kris Line is not a very consistent brand. A local bra store has stopped selling several Polish brands for that reason. Oh well, yay for online ordering with free returns!
belleandblues the embroidery is quite flat and doesn't show much under clothes, with the exception of the top edge, but it isn't worse than most of my unlined bras. I usually find that the seams show a little through thin or clingy fabrics. The band stretches quite a lot, yet it's firm. The stretchiness had me confused at first, but it's actually fine on the outer hook. Which is good because it will last me longer this way.
femineaaeterna you're absolutely right, a 3 hook band would have been so much better. Also, the band quickly narrows down from the wing, which makes it very low on the sides. I'm not particularly squishy, but this style of band gives me a bit of a roll. I wish brands would think about this more, but especially in my current size range they rarely do. 3 hook bands I've only encountered in the G and up cup range.
thelittleone I hadn't thought of it, but I guess you're right! The straps are set at the very outside of the cup in the from (which I like), but they should have been set wider in the back as well.
Charlotteke , Thnaks for the extensive contribution ! I so much love to learn from seaspned bra users.
My 5 cents on bra visibility. Most of time I can not afford it. To the opposite indeed.
However, a nice well fitted cute bra is a definitive visual asset when "guessed" or "flashed" under appropriate clothes. I perceive it as a visual clue that all is there, taken care of, in potentially serviceable condition. And logically go for it under the right circumstances.
Even if the fashion police puts me on their heads-list, bra lines can be a huge meanwhile modest seduction factor, kind of the stripes one could proudly wear on the shouder pads of an uniform shirt.
Great review! And what a gorgeous bra.
I have a KrisLine half cup that's too small for me, but I really do love the look and I wish it fit me. I'll keep my eyes open for more of their half cups.
My shape: FOB, soft tissue, narrow shoulders and roots, projected. My perfect bra is Ewa Michalak BM style
I bought this about a month and a half ago, when I saw that Zulily was having a Kris Line sale. I don't know much about the brand, but I know it's Polish and they seem to follow the same sizing guidelines as Ewa Michalak, for the most part. I researched them a bit before finally deciding on this bikini top in size 70G, which would be UK 32G/US 23i, my normal size. There's hardly any data on Kris Line bikinis, so I had to gauge what size to get based ...on the bra measurements that have been added here. Anyways, I finally received the bikini today, after much anticipation. Maybe I had FINALLY found a well-fitting bikini top! When I opened the plastic it was wrapped in and saw how small the cups were, my heart sank. You know that feeling... like you KNOW it isn't gonna fit, you can just tell my looking at it! But then you think, well, maybe looks are deceiving and you try it on with your hopes up, only to have them dashed to the ground when you see breast tissue spilling out of the front, center, sides, everywhere on the too-small cup. How in the heck could this be a UK 32G?? There's no way, it must be mislabeled or something, or Kris Line runs at least 2 sizes smaller in the cup for their bikinis or something.
Yeah, so that's been my morning. Not great, to be honest.
Despite the bad fit, this bikini is super pretty! The color is a really gorgeous, deep emerald green. It really doesn't look like a full coverage style to me; the cups are pretty short, and looks more balconette-ish, but that may be because of the too-small cup size. The clasp is a golden metal snap together thing, and the straps are nice and wide. The fabric is really soft and has a sort of shine to it. Inside the cups, there's a layer of black mesh along the bottoms.
I really want to try more Kris Line, both bras and bikinis, but now I'm at a loss as to what size I should even start with. I would definitely try this particular bikini in a larger size! It's really pretty, and I had fantasized all month about how cute it would be paired with some flower print retro high waisted bottoms!
Ah, well. It's not to be, I guess. Read more 311 more words
Oh I loveddd this color from the moment it first came out. It's such a shame it didn't fit because it's a beauty. I'm sorry it didn't fit! Hopefully Magda will be able to help you out a bit? Maybe she has size ideas for Kris line! Really though, judging by your bikini and my sports bra, maybe ordering two cups up wouldn't be such a bad thing?
That's what I'm hoping! So far, in my lengthy bikini journey, I've tried many different Ava styles, (they don't fit me right, or are a shape mismatch, or something. So those are already checked off my list) I have one Dalia I ordered in size 65J that was HUGE in the cup, (I actually took it to a seamstress, but they just sewed a dart into it and it looks weird so I don't wear it) this Kris Line one that was way too small, and I have one custom Ewa Michalak that I can wear, but the straps are really wide so it gets painful after a while. I'm running out of Polish options! I'm hoping Magda can swoop in and save the day.
Oh, I forgot my first bra-fit bikini was a Comexim, and that was too small in the cup, too. I ended up selling that one a while back. I tried to order a different one last summer, and the one they sent me was so messed up, it was unwearable. The band stretched to 39 inches! and the cup was this weird blend of too large in the cup but too small in the wire?! I can't even explain it, and will never order from them again, which is a shame. I just can't win!
Oof that's too bad. I get what you mean about Ava. If my tissue was any firmer than it was, I feel like it might be difficult to get an okay shape with it. I'm not 100% okay with only two hooks too. Kind of a dilemma for me there too haha! That's too bad about the Dalia. Did you consider ordering a size or two down? I've not heard too much about them ha. I was super jello of your saint Tropez bikini. Tooooo cute. I'm sorry it doesn't fit like you were hoping :( I custom order Mamba I think it was from them in an S shape and big yikes. 😬That was a long while ago though, so I can't even say what was wrong with it. Oh I'm sure Magda can help you out! She seems to be fairly knowledgeable :)
Oh god. Don't even get me started on Comexim hahahhaa. If you look at my Comexim tries you'll get a good laugh at least. Prettyyyyy dang bad haha. Every single time. It's a shame because I like a lot of their designs 🤷
So beautiful I am confident you'll sell it quickly. 💕🍀
Is it possible Zulily sold you one that failed QA? I thought they were supposed to be the equivalent of an outlet mall.
Oh, I'm so sorry that these bikinis do not suit you.:( I had an Emerald Beach bikini in my hands today and it really is in a beautiful color. The sizes of Kris Line is completely different than the size of other Polish bras. Please don't suggest GG, HH, because they are not UK sizes but only have such names. This can be compared in the size tables of the respective brands. In the UK sizes are given in inches and in Kris Line in centimeters and hence the difference. The naming of the cups is misleading. I've already put in a corverter cup size but I want to add it again.
According to him, if you wear a G-UK cup, it is I-US, GG-Kris Line and you can even be tempted to size H.
I hope that I have dispelled your doubts about the size of Kris Line. I am willing to answer your other questions. If you are not sure, write to me at: contact@bras4you.com
MagdaBras4you Already emailed you! :) I sent it when I was really distraught about my swimsuit problem, hahah! And thank you for the conversion! What is really bad is that the label and the description on the website BOTH state they are US cup size 32i! I think it was not labeled correctly and was actually a US size 32G, which, obviously, is much too small for me. I know better than to order any bras or bikinis from Zulily now! They use a completely different sizing system, so it's hard for me to figure out what size is actually mine. I'm hoping you have some cute bikini options you can send my way! :)
I am glad that although I can help a little. Of course, I will look for a nice bikini and read it willingly and I will answer you as soon as I can open the mail - have some problem with the server.:(

What about a Comexim from Breakout Bras so you can have easy returns? They have 3 colors for bikinis now...
veggiechic I've never had luck with padded bikinis, to be honest. Plus, I've had the worst time with Comexim in general, so I've sworn off ordering from them anymore. :( If they had non-padded bikinis at Breakout Bras by Comexim, I would probably break my "no Comexim" rule and try it out.
I'm so bummed for you. I had high hopes this would work out! My order should be here tomorrow and I'm now kind of dreading opening the package. I'm hoping Magda has some options for you!!
This is NOT a colour for the faint of heart, let me tell you.
Now, MagdaBras4you will tell you: "April LOVES pink!!" and this bra is a very, very saturated pink colour.
This style is one of the deeper/more projected at the wire and more narrow soft balcony bras that I have from Kris line.
No wire-bending needed. It fit me right out of the box, with no wrinkling anywhere and a nice tack at the gore.
I would be tempted to say, "I wish all KL softcups fit me like this. I wish they were all like this right out ...of the box."
Which leads me to this: I have many KL softcup balcony bras now and they seem to follow a trend: there are those with 1 vertical seam and those with 2 vertical seams. Those that are constructed like this one, with 2 vertical seams, tend to fit like this!
Stella is a 4 part cup construction with 3 lower panels (2 vertical seams) and 1 upper horizontal panel.
The lower sections have a delicate embroidery and are lined in mesh.
The upper panel is unlined and has a much more ornate embroidery. It also has a narrow colour-matched elastic that closes the top of the cup a little. I personally LOVE this elastic (I have short roots and firm tissue) but if you have tall soft roots, it could be a different case for you.
The cradle and gore are both covered with ornate embroidery as well.
There is a small bow with a fairy charm at the gore.
From the inside you can see that the gore is in the inverted V-shape that I like. It dips up and is great if you are short-waisted.
The straps have a picot trim to prevent adjuster slippage and are decorated with an embroidered panel and therefore, technically, only 1/2 adjustable, but the adjuster can be forced over the embroidery if needed to shorten the straps more.
The band is TTS for KL - size is 65 and it measures 65cm un-stretched. It is made of a soft, matte/sueded firm knitwear. I LOVE this material for bands and panties alike. It is soft, comfortable, supportive and stretchy. It washes and retains its shape and colour very well.
I chose Brazilian (stringo-szorty) bottoms and Magda sent me the matching garter as a BEAUTIFUL birthday gift. Both pieces are constructed beautifully from a combination of the embroidered panels, matte knitwear and opaque mesh.
They fit as expected - i.e. small!!
KL panties and garters fit small. I usually wear XS underwear and I always buy size Small in KL and even then they are quite snug. However, the design and construction, and therefore fit and look, of their bottoms are superb.
This bra cost about 150 PLN - which converts to about $50 Canadian. Well worth it for such great quality and detail!! Much thanks to MagdaBras4you for helping me to purchase this set direct from Poland where Kris Line lingerie is made. Read more 400 more words
Really pretty! Wish it had no strip. Did you have any trouble with the strip(s) with your mom, out of curiosity?
Calluna no...she doesn't fill the top of the cup in Krisline 65G. In Gorsenia 65G yes. But she would quad in it even without the strip. It's more spilling out than quadding. 65H is too big. Again, she can't fill the top of the cup. She's so soft it's like pouring pudding into a ziploc. I HATE molded bras but I think she needs one...we will find out on Tuesday.
I do know that pudding feeling....hopefully something will work out and you’ll crack the code for her. Please keep us updated...
Yes it's true. April is crazy about pink :) You look fantastic in it.👙🌺
Today, my first Krisline order arrived. This is one that I did before I started working with Magda, and they're both discontinued styles.
This is the first one. This is the bra that got me lusting after Krisline. I saw it on the blog Cakes on a Plate and went nuts looking for it. I finally found it on a Polish website, Jagna, and paid a hefty shipping price.
But, it was worth it. This bra is even more beautiful in person than I ever could've hoped for.
I have a real love affair for pink flowers, especially apple and cherry blossoms.
This bra and panties check all ...my boxes...flowers, printed satin, embroidery and lace. Its feminine to the max. Even the straps are embroidered with pink flowers!
The wires: -are narrow. Just a little wider than EM.
The band: -is very TTS...I'm wearing it on the loosest hook comfortably. -has side boning (I like this feature in bras) -is firm knitwear. (Feels like itll last a long time before stretching out).
The straps are NOT fully adjustable due to the embroidery. But, on this model I'm ok with the strap length and actually have 2" to spare.
As for cup fit...its not perfect, but for a bra set that I love this much, I will deal. The cups are deep...very deep. But not quite enough so right at the center gore. This results in a soft tack. I also have the tiniest bit of gaping at the inner edge of the upper cup. I think this is also due to lack of depth at the gore. But, a stitch or 2 will draw it in, if I'm bothered to get that nit-picky.
The upper cup has elastic. Not that plasticky strip that's usually used, but super soft, super narrow elastic. Elastic!! This is GENIOUS as I think itll be more forgiving for upper fullness that would get quadding with those non-stretch plastic strips.
I ordered XS panties to match this bra - 1 tanga (Krisline calls this "stringo szorty") and 1 bikini brief.
They fit small. They're a full size smaller than XS 34(6) panties from Ewa. But, they have MAJOR stretch and are absolutely beautiful in cut and quality.
Krisline has won my heart for style and quality. Even though the fit is 95%, I'll be buying more in the future.
I ordered 2 sizes - I'll add measures for both to Database AND I'll post the 65GG for sale to see if some other girlie girl is interested in snagging one of these discontinued beauties. Read more 317 more words
Wow, that is so pretty, and looks like a great fit. So nice after having wanted it for so long!
Well if I had just scrolled down a little farther, I'd have answered half of my questions haha. It looks nice even with the slight gapping :) I'm glad you were able to get your hands on it! Do you think you'd order another KL based on both bras you tried? :O
From the zoomed out picture of front shot, I thought those black lines were skulls... 💀
Sovavosi lmao But, I probably would buy a sugar skull printed set :P
Gorgeous!
This blue one looks pretty on you :)
This is simply stunning. What a fabulous internet find. I may have to try Kris Line!
Ditto to what rachaelll said.
Wilderness1 are you also so over the snow? We have way too much in Ont. I am ready for spring!
I'm gonna throw up here in Montreal. 3 snow days in 2 weeks. My kids are making me nuts lol
AprilGoulding hope you have wine! I don't know how else you will survive.
Should I even mention the snow situation here or just shut up and stop being smug?;)
And you all can send your snow to me, I will gladly take it off your hands! We shall build a giant snow castle in the yard with it, with bra curtains covering the windows. ❄😍❄😍❄
We, fortunately, have not been any sub 0C temps this winter. We have, however, had an abundance of rain, wind, and lack of sun. It’s a trade off.
Might get some flurries on Sunday or Monday....flurries is the “f word” here. The city sold the snow plows. We can’t handle the snow (except for the people who moved here from everywhere else). I’m Montreal born but I moved to Florida when I was 2.5, so moving back to Canada after 30 years away, we picked the warmest and least snowy place. I’m with Wilderness1 that 20c and under is cold, but I have acclimated a lot more since I have been here.
It is neg 22F here currently and we have about 20" of snow on the ground, and I love it. I could do with out the temp extreme mind you, but I absolutely love the snow. Come Sunday it's supposed to get up to 55F so my beautiful snow will turn into hard sheets of ice and slush, which won't be as fun....
Hate it, hate it, hate it. I'd like to live in a bikini, shorts and flipflops
Haha AprilGoulding. Soon. You can have that very soon. 😄 And maybe in a new KrisLine bikini!! 😍
Kind of wish these companies did bathing suits also...
Kind of wish these companies did bathing suits also...
Sovavosi the hip measurements would be in their fashion catalog and should be the same.
@AprilGoulding I can totally see that for you, haha!
They're not associated with the one piece though. I would think manufacturers assume a fixed underbust to hip ratio. In other words, not going to work for me unless very stretchy.
In Atlanta the school systems are scared of embarrassing themselves like a couple of years ago during our "snowpocalypse" when the whole world laughed at us grinding to a halt with 2 inches of snow. So they canceled school 24 hours in advance for yesterday with a predicted 1.5 inches. We got no snow to play in, just kids cooped up at home! It was 45 degrees in the morning! Today however it was 23 degrees when my kiddos went to school, and that is super cold for Atlanta. I can't even imagine what some of you are facing!
We don't really consider it "facing" lol We are used to it and equipped for it. We're a hardy crowd ;) I just don't like it.
Sovavosi Damn I didn't think about that. :-( Sorry. If only Ewa did one pieces. You know she woyld factor both parts separately. .....
In MT, School was still a go with 24" of fresh snow and 25F below, all they did was cancel the buses but kids were still expected to go to school. Snow days didn't exist. But when snow is on the ground at least 9 months out of the year, it wouldn't be much of an education system if they didn't work around it, right?
Someone sent this to me and it made me laugh and think about this thread. It’s so true...
We lived in Vancouver for 11 years and I miss those cherry blossoms.
Sonya that must have been a heck of a change. My friend is from Cape Breton and moved here after a stint in Whistler. Spent 6 months in Australia and then moved to Edmonton for a few years before moving back here. That’s a lot of change. 😂
Yep- from one coast to the other and back again. I fondly remember bragging about the weather to everyone back home.
SonyaCalluna I am from Newfoundland. Theres more wind and snow there, but not as bitterly cold as here in Montreal.
Oooh, really? Interesting. We have a friend here from Newfoundland. And one from the Yukon.
As part of my new year's resolution I want to go through my closet and measure all my older bras and list whatever doesn't fit. So I'm finally adding measurements and a review to a bikini top that I've already had around for a couple of years. This bikini is one of my favourites, but it's not getting a lot of wear (through no fault of its own, but simply because I don't have a lot of need for swimwear), so I don't have the feeling that it's stretched out.
Regarding the construction and materials, this bikini is very good quality and looks well made. It's also looking great ...after some wear, including sun, salt and pool water. I only hand wash it, very rarely delicate machine wash. One detail that I particularly like is that the hardware is metallic and not plastic. Especially the back clip is much sturdier this way, but the strap extenders also look good quality. The straps are stretchy and they're fully adjustable. They're not too wide set and are comfortable on me. Regarding the strap length, it seems in line with most of my other bras, neither particularly short nor long. I also really like the design, I find the combination of polka dots and flower pattern to work really well with the bikini's colour scheme. I find that Kris Line has some really lovely designs. The cup is a balconette construction, and it's lined with white stretchy mesh. Overall the whole cup is stretchy, but it's still quite supportive. The wing comes with side boning, but it's not uncomfortable on me at all. The wires seem medium weight, neither too flexible nor too hard.
Regarding the fit, the cups are deep but also quite wide, at 16.5cm width. The things that I particularly like about the fit is that the cups have enough immediate projection and they are short, so this model will work well for short roots. The wire is also short both at the wing and the gore. Overall the cups give a very projected but natural look - as there's not so much height to the cups there's also not a lot of vertical space where the cup could provide the lift up towards. Despite the fact that the gore is also relatively wide, the bikini doesn't create a splayed look. It is relatively supportive, but definitely nothing you'd use to run to the pool.
The size was just a lucky guess from my side. I had seen some reviews that Kris Line runs very small, so I simply ordered the largest size that I had found in this model. The sizing as written on the sewn-in label is quite strange. I think it's intended as: EU/D NL/A/CH 85HH B/F 100HH UK 38 So the UK size seems to be missing a cup size https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":-)" /> The label is also sewn backwards, which I actually only noticed now as I'm reviewing it.
I ordered the matching tie side bikini bottoms, which I personally find also run very small and are quite skimpy. The adjustable ties do make the size a bit more flexible, but I find that they're not my favourite cut as they don't feel very secure.
Since this is an older model and the only Kris Line I've ever tried, I don't know if the fit is the same in other similar bikinis, but overall this is was a nice find. Read more 464 more words
So I've tried this bra before but in 70GG and it seemed to run very small in the cup and was about 2 cups too small for me. This is three cups larger than that and I will say it maybe would have fit better in 70HH but a little more room in the cup in a lounge bra is no big deal.
70I is much better, although I find I don't quite fill out the cups, *but* everything I wrote in my other review still stands.
The middle part does a wonderful job of separating, and the bra is extremely comfy. Now I will say I get the typical ...wireless soft bra look in this size. Pointy, bullety, etc. However, with a shirt on it is actually not so bad--my guess is it would be if it was form fitting, but all my shirts are baggy kind of so I have no such issues.
The cups are supportive enough that it keeps my breasts lifted, though it's nothing spectacular.
For a wireless, soft bra this is a great one. There is no skin on skin contact which is my main issue with wireless bras, the boobs sort of just fold inside it and it's as if I'm not wearing one, but not in this one.
And you know, I'm actually extremely impressed with the quality of this bra. It is sturdy, the materials are soft but they HOLD and the lace doesn't feel cheap at all. The bra feels expensive even if it wasn't really (I think I paid about $50ish for it).
*** As a side note I have to say that I was very impressed with the service from the seller (Magda from bras4you.com) as she made sure I get the size I want even if my return package was very very VERY late. Highly recommend. Read more 196 more words
I thought their cups were just in a different sizing range. I also liked the way pointier bras looked under baggy clothes (esp winter clothes)
My size was 32FF when I bought first one in 32GG so I already sized up 2 cups, but I guess not enough
I really love this bra but it’s not in my size. I think I would like to make one like it though.
If you need very detailed photos of the construction I am more than willing to send. The middle part for separation is actually genius. I don't have any Royce bras but I feel like I read some had this too? Not sure...
It looks great on you brasaremean. And it looks comfortable not just supportive!
I too wish they would make it in my size, especially since they do make up to an 28:21 (60O for them) and to a P cup in the larger bands (:22 tier.) Even with it running small in the cup, I have a few tiers wiggle room with that range.
Glad this one worked out better for you, and I agree 100% MagdaBras4you is spectacular with customer service!! :-)
Write them an email! I'll e-mail them too lol!
Or, we could have cupandahalf start a business making these bras :D I know I'd buy... oh...about one for each day I'm at home.
Last time I asked about one out of range I was told no. They currently only offer one bra available in my range and to the 28:21, Betty in White. Even Betty in Purple wasn't offered to my range. Just because they can do them doesn't mean they will unfortunately! Yet some is better than none. :-)
Bummer :( maybe one day they will come to their senses
I believe they used to supply more models in the larger cups, but lower sales resulted in lower production. They are not a made to order brand, so it is logical.
brasaremean I'm glad you received the parcel. I think the bra looks good on you. I'm sorry that you have other feelings.
This bra is a very fun summer color, it is trendy peach, but reminds me a bit of orange sherbert. The bra has very pretty touches with lace, including floral lace half way up the straps. This bra didn't fit me quite right, which wasn't a total surprise, I assumed it would be one cup size too big. Thanks again to MamaPagan for sending it to me to try. It is awesome to try new brands and sizes to narrow down what works, and add in all the info for the database. I am close set, full on bottom, and I need a good amount of ...immediate projection. This bra has a fairly supportive feeling band. It has enough immediate projection for me. The problems I had, however, were ones that don't leave me in a rush to try this one cup size down. The sides of the cups went waaaay in to my armpits, and were very uncomfortable. I both don't quite fill the tops of the cups, yet I also get cutting in from the top of the cup. The bra also doesn't provide the level of shaping and support that Comexim does. Read more 93 more words
This bra definitely lifts and projects short roots. Certain Polish brands are good at that it seems. I am not so sure about the projection as it can be on the pointed rather than round side. I bought this bra on a whim and it fits better after losing a bit of weight. My fitter at the time convinced me as she said it lifts and pushes your breasts forward and has the effect of slimming you. One of my first fitting bras bought from a bra boutique and the price was on the high side compared to online. I was not sure of my size at the time so the help with fitting was worth it. I would buy more of this brand if the shape was a bit rounder.
i was just thinking about Kris Line semi-soft . . having the padding only on the bottom means you have the support of padding, but not that thick line at the top of the cup that shows through t-shirts. I tried one once that was way too small in the band and keep thinking i should try another some day
The band is snug but I think they do +4? All the different sizing confuses me to no end! I really have to swoop and push the breast tissue into submission almost for the lace not to pucker. The joys of different bra shapes. The fitter pushed my breast tissue inward toward the center to get this one to fit. Could be my breast shape too...still learning on that one.
no, i knew mine would be too small, but even with the extender, the straps were too wide. 65KK - Kris Line » Toni Semi Soft - i've been buying Ewa Michalaks in 75, but panache in 32.
It is funny that I didn't find Kris Line bras that tight in the smaller cup sizes (65DD/E). My 65DD - Kris Line » Toni Semi Soft also does a pointy shape, while the 65DD - Kris Line » Margerita is much shallower and fits more round, even though it being a semi-soft also, with the difference that Margerita doesn't have cookie pockets.
I have 2 padded Kris Lines in 65HH, they are almost unwearably loose for a 65 band. For example, I think in comexim you would have to go up to a 75 band to get a comparably loose one, they are definitely not the same as my comexim 65 or even 70 bands.
I think that this is such a pretty and feminine bra. I love the lace and the detailing. I do agree though that it does give a slightly pointed shape but i don't think it is that bad, it is almost very 50's look. It looks lovely on you and looks to fit you perfectly . I will be looking for this bra here in Australia. Thank you for a great review.
Scott thank you! The lace is very pretty on this bra for sure. I hope you can find this brand! It is cotton so it is lightweight too.
I’m so glad that I gave the 65I size a try! Every fit issue I had with the 70HH is totally better. The band is nice and snug on the first set of hooks, the cups are sprung back enough where they aren’t sitting on tissue, and the cups are filled across the top and not gappy. I noticed that compared to the 65I - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY), the gore and cup style fit much better on this bra. ...The gore is tall, but still tacks for me (which is amazing because I’m super center-full and usually tall gores sit on tissue). The gore on the Selena is too short, and my boobs escape out the middle. That is not a problem with the Kiara. Also, because the gore is higher, the cups themselves are more horizontal across the top instead of being angled down like the Selena (due to the shorter gore). Overall, a way better fit than the last size I tried in this bra. I’m so happy! I also purchased the Brazilian high waisted panties to go with this as a set because I just love it so much. I am not a huge fan of how this bra makes my boobs look! They look so droopy and sad. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_sad.gif" alt=":(" />
This is my 3rd Kris Line half cup bra. I really like the styles of the half cups, but I’m having a rough time trying to find the right fit. The 70HH - Kris Line » Kiara Black Half Cup Soft (FW19-05-L-1000) has a band that’s too stretchy, the 70H - Kris Line » Selena Half Cup Soft (FW21-F08-L1000-BY) also has a way too stretchy band and the cups are too small, so I tried this 65I Jassmin ...hoping it would be a good fit in the band and cups, but unfortunately the band is too tight and the cups are too big/wrinkly! The band pulls the cups too far back which warps the side boning, which tells me this is an obvious size fail. I’m considering repurchasing the Kiara and Selena both in 65I to see if they’re better since the band is the only problem with those. I have to wear both on the tightest hooks…
To further elaborate on the Jassmin, I’m also disappointed in the overall look of the bra on me. The stock images make this bra look so pretty, but in person it looks (and feels) kind of cheap? I have a feeling that it’s an older style and maybe that’s why the fit/cut/material is “off.” I thought it would be so much prettier, but I just really don’t like it. I will say, it did compress me very well and gave a rounded, full shape under clothes. Minimal jiggling! Unfortunately, the wire on the left side rests on tissue, but weirdly enough I didn’t notice until I took the bra off. I honestly didn’t feel uncomfortable or anything from it all day.
Pictures are after wearing it all day at work. If you look closely at the back picture, you can see a spot where my skin is red/irritated by where the hooks connect. The material on the band is sharp/scratchy on the top and bottom corners, which was irritating my back alllll day. I couldn’t quit trying to pick at it/pull it away to get relief all day. I was concidering ordering this for ages but based on this I don't think I will, like you say it is an older style so I was also worried it wouldn't fit like the Selena that I have, and love! I also had this feeling like it probably looks cuter in photos :/ So sad it didn't work out for you! but hey at least it helped me :D I have been eyeing the "paloma half cup" aswell I think that might work better tbh
I love the fabric on this, I think it's so pretty!! gorgeous bra!
alidieux it definitely is different in pictures than in person! Even looking at the stock images again, the vertical seams are a different color here than in the stock image. I think just that difference alone changes the appearance quite a bit! The pictures were my “after wearing a whole day” but it looks better when it’s first on and under my clothes it gives a nice rounded shape. Just not what I expected! Also, I’ve been eyeballing the Paloma as well - it’s on my wishlist on Jagna lol.
BraOdyssey yes it’s super pretty, just not quite the same as the stock image which is way prettier!
I got this bra last year in a 75K but I was bigger then, but loved it, so this year I got it in a new size and I opted for 70HH. I'm about a 30HH/J-32H/HH UK. Kris Line sizing is very strange though, as we all know, so I wasn't sure what size to go for, but I own a Kris Line bra in 70J and I estimated it to be about 2 cup sizes too big now, so 70HH it went. I can easily wear a 65 band now but for swimwear I don't want it to dig in too much to create a bulge under ...the band lol.
I purchased it on Allegro.pl
This is a very very comfortable bikini, by far the best bikini I've ever tried. It has very stretchy fabric so if you are full on top it's most likely very forgiving in that area. The straps are fully adjustable. The back has just the one hook, it's one of those classic clasps that bikinis have but I've vigorously swam in this bikini and it stayed put. I can't wear anything other than polish because I need projection and narrow wires and this one ticks both boxes. It is a little boring but who cares it works https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
About me: Narrow, very projected and short roots. Need immediate projection. Lacking fullness, especially upper fullness, so a lot of bras gape at the top of cups for me. Read more 138 more words
Congrats on this find! it looks great on you! I know Kris Line Sizing is a nightmare... as most polish sizing. I have a full paper besides my computer with my sizes in different brands, EU, PL or UK ... How was shopping on allegro.pl from your country? I figured it is like ebay somehow (private sellers) or is it an actual store? Do they ship internationally?
I wanted to say, "nightmare like all bra sizing"... it's early morning here... I'm half asleep.
It is more like amazon kinda with actual stores, the seller this time was jagna_pl. I've ordered from BiustynaBytom before. Both have their own website too although they are messier than allegro. Shipping is usually around 12 euro but it's per order not per item so it's worth more if you order multiple items from the same seller. The total for this bikini was something like 35 euro for the bikini and then 12 euro shipping which is basically the same as buying a shitty Freya from Sweden full price, so I justified the shipping cost for only 1 item like that haha. I also messaged Jagna_pl as I had a question through the "chat about your order" and they replied fast.
I find using allegro is so easy because you can change to English and everything works really well translated. Anything I've ordered has been new with tags. The shipping takes about a week at most from Poland to Sweden, usually sent with DHL.
They ship to tons of countries, pretty sure internationally. You can easily select your country in the top bar where you change language and currency, so the shipping prices are shown in the item description for your country too so it's not a shock when you get to check out.
If you add stuff from different stores it's neatly organised at checkout which items are from which stores. I know you can also review the stores as a customer but generally if they have high good % in reviews and their own website I don't think twice. You can pay with PayPal too unlike many other websites.
As for the sizing I also think their swimwear is more forgiving in the size, like I could have gone down a size more, but if it was a stiff bra I don't think I could.
I'm still losing weight so I've not ordered more bras yet so I'm still wearing a Kris Line bra in 70J which is just a little empty in the top of the cup but it's not that noticeable, and in my 2 nessa I wear 70L and some days I fill them out still, others they're very gappy. I'm almost back to my size I was 12? years ago when I was in the beginning of my "a bra that fits" journey, and I kept a bunch of my 30h-hh-j cleo bras from many years ago and they all basically fit now too lol. While I wanna lose more weight I don't wanna lose my boobs any more haha. I'd like to stay minimum a 30H so fingers crossed they don't shrink too much..
The one thing I have about this particular bra is that the straps and band are both a little too long, so I’d probably go for a 75L next time, but otherwise fits great. I went bigger in the band because this is a black bra and IME black Kris Line bras are usually very snug in the band. There’s also a little wrinkling on the top of the cup on my smaller side, but I’d take that over quadding right now.
Very comfortable and I probably won’t have to remove the boning because the band isn’t so tight that the boning hurts.
I’ve never tried a Kris Line semi-soft cup bra, so I decided that this one was close enough to sister sizing if I wore an extender and decided to buy this from alisa!
I’ve said it once before (or maybe a couple of times) that I’m curious if Kris Line bras aren’t meant to have a hard tack or even a tack at all at the gore. I know that sounds weird and is one of the main things that tells you a bra “fits” but for some reason no matter how deep a KL bra is, I’m having a tough time getting a tack. That ...happens with this bra, which is really deep when stretched to the absolute depth limit over my knee (I feel like I got like 39cm of depth or something!!!) So now I have no idea if the bras I’m wearing are big enough or not.
The material this is made out of is softer, stretchier, and more malleable than the material of the semi-soft 75L - Ava » Somma Soft (1122) that I recently received. It’s very comfortable, but it makes a weird scratchy sound because of the material rubbing against itself. It’s a little strange.
Because this is technically a 32 band, it’s too snug on its own, so I’ll be wearing an extender with it at least for a little while. When it’s on the loosest hook without the extender, it’s so snug that the boning pokes me in the sides.
The overall quality is okay, but I think it does feel a little cheap compared to the unlined KL bras that I have. The overall appearance is nice though; it’s a beige bra with a floral swirl type design on the fabric. The lace on top is nice too, but there’s definitely a hard shift from the lined part to the unlined part.
Overall, I’m glad I took the plunge on this bra, I’m not sure if I’ll wear it as much as my unlined bras, but it was worth trying out. Would I try another semi-soft Kris Line bra, given the opportunity? I probably would just because they’re pretty. But now I’m so used to unlined bras so I don’t know if I’d want a million of these. The gore on this bra also would not tack on me. The cup depth I measured was just similar to other bras that fitted me at that time, so it made no sense. I think it's a combo of the padded cup which can make a bra more shallow fitting + KL wire construction which is more soft and flexible and if you have center heavy breasts - the wire looses it's hold there and gets more easily pushed away compared to a really strong wire.
I also can't get a Kris Line gore to tack on me. I'm centre-full so usually that's difficult anyway, but KL seems to have very soft wires too. That said, I love my KL bras and would buy more because they are very comfortable.
Rehmania agreed! The majority of my bras are Kris Line and I don’t see that changing even with the weird fit issue with the gore. I *may* try one more size up just to see if that helps, but I’m on he fence still because I’m worried the cups might get too tall. We’ll see!
I already own this in 75K in black, but some days it's a little small so I figured I'd get it in 75KK because I made an order directly from Kris Line, and it was on sale for ~16 pounds! Bargain.
I really love my black version of this, it's super comfortable. Putting this one on, it's crazy how stretched out the band is on my other one lmao. I could fasten this one and it's perfectly snug. That's what I love most about KL bras, the band sizes are really true to size I feel. They're never too small or too big like other brands usually are.
The fit ...I honestly don't really notice a difference in the cup between the K and KK. I always had empty space in the top of the cup becaue this bra has a bit of an odd shape, but it doesn't show or affect the fit on me overall, so I ignore the wrinkling. The rest of the cup fits basically the same as my K cup one.
The looks of this one in white is beautiful. It's super bridal. I usually don't go for white because I fake tan but for the price and since I knew it would fit me I'm not gonna complain. And if I feel like a bride in it, I don't see how that's a bad thing anyway haha. Sometimes white/beige bras can feel very maternal/grandma but this one is definitely not that so that's awesome https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_razz.gif" alt=":P" /> Read more 147 more words
Oohh interesting I didn't even know KrisLine did direct orders?
Immediately checked out their site - but too bad for me, they don't ship to the US (:
It seems they ship to a select few EU countries. The shipping was 61 PLN to sweden which is a little expensive but it arrived really fast and since I bought 2 bras, one being this one for really cheap, it was still cheaper than buying from the UK, especially now after brexit.
Congrats on finding another bra that fits - more or less :) I recently tried my 34KK to check, since I went up like 1 cup since I got it. Still got empty space on top so I totally get what you say about the odd cup fit. But if it doesn't bother you, just ignore it.
This bra came from Magda in Poland and is, unfortunately, headed back to Poland.
This bra is not what I was expecting! For the first time in my search this past year, I’ve encountered a bra that I really just hate the look of. It really looks “old lady” like to me, or at least on me.
The fit is also weird. The cups have this weird pocket on the bottom and it feels loose, unlike my other Kris Line bras that are a cup smaller. I’m not sure if this is due to the size being a cup bigger, or if it’s just this particular bra’s style. ...It definitely feels bigger, which on one hand I think I needed in Kris Line, but it just wasn’t the right fit. My 75K bras are definitely borderline small on me, so I thought this KK would have been better. Also, the top has thick elastic, which cuts in a bit but it’s unnoticeable. The gore does not tack on this bra by about 2 fingers’ width.
The overall quality doesn’t feel like my other Kris Line bras either. This one feels cheap and chintzy to me. For the price I paid, I expected more.
I feel like I can’t speak to the comfort because I didn’t wear it more than a few minutes.
Overall, not for me. I honestly think that Nessa is my new favorite bra/brand, even though Kris Line cups are deeper at the wire. Nessa just gives me the look I want and is a lot more comfortable! Read more 152 more words
The Brilliant is one of Kris Line’s (now discontinued) bras that are part of their normal line (excuse me for not being able to find the word for it...but it’s one of their “staples,” where other bras are “seasonal,” if that makes sense). It’s characterized with immediate projection at the wire, wider wires than what are regular for Polish brands, and the beautiful floral embroidery on the top of the cups. It’s made fo 2 layers of mesh fabric along with the embroidered mesh on top.
I normally wear 34HH in UK sizes, so ordered a 70K because I know from experience that the ...band is super stretchy in this model. This still rang true in a 70 band. I would have tried a 75JJ had I been able to, but with it being discontinued the seller was unable to get me that size. Either way, it doesn’t matter because it isn’t the right size. I went smaller because from reading reviews on here, I found a lot of reviewers said the Brilliant ran larger. Comfort-wise, it’s a pretty comfortable bra. The mesh is a tad itchy, but otherwise that’s my only complaint in respect to the comfort. The 70 band is snug, but not tight. Had I ordered a 75K, it may have been closer to fitting, maybe, but I’m just so...confused.
Comparing the measurements to my 75K - Kris Line » Scheherazade Soft (L1105), the wires are wider and the cups are taller and deeper. Because the Scheherazade gore floats slightly, I figured deeper cups = a gore that could tack. Apparently I was wrong. Or the Brilliant just doesn’t work for my shape.
I’m debating if I should try this in another size or give up on it all together. I know I’ve seen things said about Kris Line being inconsistent, and this could very well be true. I really, really like my Scheherazade, but I’m scared to try anything else because I won’t know if it will fit the same! Read more 233 more words
Maybe try nessa, between KL and Nessa i've found Nessa to be much deeper. But also smaller band.
alidieux I do have one Nessa bra already and I like it, but it’s a size too small I think! I’m actually waiting on a Nessa Moly from Brastop, but their shipping doesn’t have tracking for me for some reason so I have no idea when it will get here lol. I’m nervous though, I got it in a 34O and I think I probably should have gone with a 34N since the one I have now is 34M and it’s close but just a smidge small.
I’m kinda bummed on this whole Kris Line journey...totally feels like I hit a wall. Like the bras are so inconsistent in shape and size lol. I think the Brilliant is going to go back and I’ll get the Fortuna instead since I thought the shape was better in that one. Brilliant is definitely a bust.
I love happy accidents :-) :-)
