I've wanted to try the Lepel Fiore for a long time, but it isn't easily available in the US and based on measurements it seems to run 1 cup size big with a tighter band. I finally decided to go ahead and order both the Full Cup and the Padded Plunge styles from eBay now that my measurements are definitely enough to fit the 30D (though normally I would wear 30DD). Luckily it fit, and it's super comfortable! See my separate review on the Padded Plunge in 30DD if you're curious about my thoughts on that style and how it compares.
I was surprised to see ...that the fabric is so soft, as some other UK brands are notorious for stiff lace (I'm looking at you, Freya!). The cups are made from very soft floral lace, although it looks quite delicate and seems like it might snag easily. The bottom cup is double lined with soft stretch tricot, and the upper cup has a small strip of clear elastic at the upper edge. The cradle and wings are made from very stretchy matte jersey. I love the little lace up detail that connects the cradle and wings, and since I have a pinkish red bra, it looks perfectly Valentine's Day appropriate. Straps are not very wide, and taper off to a leotard back.
Overall the bra is super comfortable since the materials are so soft, but it also raises a question with me regarding durability and support. For instance, I was originally kind of hesitant to order this bra as a 22" ish band on the flat can be super tight. In reality, the elastic used on the band is pretty narrow, and the wing fabric is super stretchy, so actually the band doesn't feel snug on me at all, and I have to hook it on the tightest hook right away to have it feel secure. Therefore, I'd recommend ordering your normal band or even a band down. It's not quite as bad as Natori bands, but the amount of stretch is similar.
I also felt that the soft stretchy fabric of the cups is a bit questionable. I fill out the cups well, but I definitely don't feel supported in the same way Freya, Panache, or Cleo cups hold me in. The shape of this bra is much more natural because the bottom of the cup doesn't really do much shaping. I've also found that since gaining a cup size, my shape is really not "shallow" and should be considered round, since many bras these days tend to cut in a bit at the upper cup if they have a closed top or tighter edge. Given the flimsy lace of this bra, the clear elastic is a necessary touch, but it is a little bit tight on me. I like the wide wires and the depth, though. Since the 30DD isn't much deeper but the wires are a bit wider, I think I might give that size a try as well.
I like this bra and think it's a lovely option, but I think it's better suited for novelty wear rather than as an everyday staple piece. I might pick up a few more since it's easy to find the Full Cup style on discount. It's too bad that this doesn't come in 28E as I think I'd get a better fit in my true size. Read more 476 more words
It was not my size of 30F, however, I feel it is about true to its size of a 30G made for wide and shallow breast shape. This shape basically means the breast covers more side tissue area across the chest and perhaps to the armpits too, and not so projected but can be rounded. Wide and shallow does not always mean literally wide and shallow like an athletic chest type that is smaller in size, but bigger breasts can be of this shape too. I am more of a round shape while being a wide and shallow, pretty balanced breasts and nipples are in about the centre. ...I am not necessarily heavier on top or bottom, but equally rounded out I reckon. If you wish to acquire this bra, please message me and we can arrange pricing and such, unless you live in Christchurch, New Zealand. Then we can arrange a physical meeting in a nice public place so we both know we are safe and happy : ) PS I intentionally added the measurements from the bratabase website onto this bra, as it would be accurate. Nice bra, but not fitting my narrow and projected shape. Maybe also more like 28FF-30F, or maybe just a shape mismatch making it feel small in the cup.
This is my first multiway as well as my first white bra in a non matrix size and it's is a pretty good fit considering the uncooperative nature of strapless bras. It really is comfortable. The wires are narrow and there is actually an impressive amount of projection. The straps are thin so they'll be hidden easily under sleeveless tops. It doesn't have enough immediate depth for me. Also the gore doesn't tack. I bought this off eBay and there is a snag on the gore. It looks pretty from a distance though. Overall I'm happy to finally own a multiway/strapless bra that doesn't feel like a torture device. It is especially comfortable as a regular bra with the straps attached. Runs a band size small.
First disclaimer: I bought this bra because it was super super cheap and I need bras even if they don’t fit good. That being said this is definitely a bra for when I’m down a little more weight.
The band is more like a tight 28 than a 30. The cups aren’t too bad for width all things considered but there’s something really awkward going on with the spacing and shape of the cups. I think that with the ratio of cup to band, the cups are being pulled apart a bit and where I’m so naturally front and center it’s causing the spillage. If I use 2 extenders ...so the band is loose loose the cups fit me perfectly but then the weight of my chest made the back immediately start sliding up. Quality of the bra is also pretty poor but it’s a very cute and youthful look. Colours are very bright and summery, the lace is pretty nice for a $20 CAD bra and the bands and straps seem kind of flimsy. I’d consider sister sizing up a band if you’re getting one (so a 32FF instead of a 30G) and only get if you’re okay with a little bit of cup separation. Again it’s super pretty and cheap, but the fit and quality are also cheap. Read more 109 more words
This bra is way prettier in person then the stock photos show. I didn't expect it to look so nice. Cute strawberry and butterfly print. It's got a super soft microfiber outer. And the front half of the starps are the same fabric. This makes the straps very stretchy and the band is also very stretchy. This bra has a very round shape and is extremely comfortable to me. I am currently pregnant and I feel like this is the most comfortable bra for this time and breast feeding. I intend to get another and sew on nursing clips to them both.
To be honest, this Bikini was not my favorite design, but I bought it because everything else works fine. It fits my FOB average projected breasts quite well, I can move without showing my nipples and it is not too uncomfortable even when wet. The band is not too tight but definitely softens when wet. The big bow in the middle is very visible under clothing but as I do not wear it under clothes that much I am okay with that. The shape is also quite good, even if the cup is molded it fits my breasts very well. I do not go swimming very often, so I guess this one will last very long, but given it is worn out I will try this brand again but maybe with another design.
This bra is extremely comfortable and fits me very well. I am projected, very soft tissue, with short roots. I have very minimal gaping at the top where the straps connect to the cup. The material of the bra is so buttery soft, the lace doesn’t stretch very much but the cup has about a half inch or less of stretch to it. The cup is double lined. I do want to say this is probably not the most supportive bra in terms of how high these set my breasts, but it is supportive nonetheless and offers a very pleasing round shape.
This is one of the bras I bought before I knew my true size (34D/DD). The cup size is about right, the band size is naturally a bit large, but on the tightest hook it fits great. It is extremely supportive, and the cups are made of robust fabric for the most part. Unfortunately, this isn't the case on top of the cups, which are made of very stretchy and fragile lace. And as I'm FoB, and the lace is so stretchy, the cups are gaping on top. Once altered, it fits and looks pretty good, and the purple colour with pink bows is very pretty.
My shape: full on bottom, soft tissue, narrow shoulders/roots. (Special thanks to MamaPagan for sending me this to try out!) Appearance: SUCH a gorgeous red bra! It's allover stretch lace in the most crimson shade ever. Red is my favorite color, and it's weird that I don't actually have a red bra that fits me, wahh! Fit: This was another bra that fit my sister! So no comments on fit from me, but she said she liked it and it was comfortable. https://d28qt14g3opchh.cloudfront.net/smileys/icon_smile.gif" alt=":)" />
I am adding this bra for data/informational purposes only. This Bra is not owned by me at the time of addition to the database.
This one is a full lace unpadded bra in red. The band measures 21.5” to a max of 31” with 2 hooks and 3 rows of eye loops.
Cup Depth as measured by: 1 Hovering the cup between the knees, then placing the tape measure into the cups without any resistance. This measurement is: 11.5”
2 Placing the cup over the knee and stretching it similar to what a breast would, to the maximum resistance. This measurement is: 14”
I feel these ...two figures give you a general idea of the minimum and maximum depth that the cup can accommodate, just like the flat and stretched band measurements do with bands. Since Bratabase only has one cup field, I enter the larger of the two, as it’s this larger number that determines if a cup is going to fit me or not since I am on the max end of the cup scale, but do realize that some may need the lower number to determine fit for their needs, so I will always include both figures in the reviews for full disclosure.
Straps are too apart for me. I know it's a balcony bra but it is still too apart for my narrow shoulders. Other than that the bra is pretty and fits nice to me. I tried both 30DD and 30E and 30E fitted me better. Overall, I like it and I got it for a good price. I'm thinking of alterating strap locations so that they can be little more closer.
I think it runs little small on the cup. I had boob spillage under armpits. The band is tight. It was good for my 27.5" rib cage, but it can be too tight if your underbust measure is true to 30".
The bra itself is okay..but its straps are too apart each other for me. I have narrow shoulders and inner-full breasts so wide straps cannot support my breasts right. The cup has only one seam, which is a diagonal one - not a shape that suits FOT like me but since there was no OIG effect, I guess I'm keeping it.
Fits nicely. Cups are half to full cup larger compared to other Lepel bras of the same size, like the others said. So I chose 30DD because my reference size is 30DD/E and I'm glad I did.
