This bra offers great breast support, but the band across the sides and back doesn't stay wide. When I first put it on, it's great. but within a few hours, the band has turned into a tight rubber band squeezing my back fat. I adjust it constantly and can't wait to take it off.
Way too small for me, the wires were extremely pokey (couldn't wear it for longer than a few hours). When I was smaller and it fit, it gave a nice shape and level of support. Fairly attractive bra, lovely blue color.
This bra has a lot of stretch in the cups, so I could've gone down a cup size, I think. The wires are sturdy, though. The gore digs in on me and my tissue makes the wires sit back to back vs side by side. The band is snug and I had to adjust the straps almost to their tightest setting to feel like they helped. So far I really like it— I will be using this for softball and running and while it doesn't prevent bounce, it does do a good job of supporting my breasts and keep them from tugging with gravity.
Hilarious, I'm dyslexic so I messed up the sizing on this one. I tried a 34 in a store once and I couldn't even fasten the band it was so tight. So when these bras came up on Zulily for $15.99 I jumped aboard. I knew I needed to size up in the band so I got a 36. I should have gone down a cup for the sister size, but I went up instead. A 36f would suit me well I think. This bra is on Zulily again, and I think I will try again, seems like a great bra.
This is a very lovely, albeit SHEER, bra. However, this bra is just too big overall.
The cups are wrinkly at the tops; the straps only adjust halfway, which I could use just a smidge more adjusting room; and the band is way big on me.
The underwires seem to be the perfect height (no poking!), but they're a bit wide. The width isn't too much of a problem, though there's the potential for it becoming annoying as the day progresses. Another problem with the underwires is that they dig in painfully under my breasts. Once they bra is adjusted, it seems to be ok. Then again, I really only tried it on.
Even though this bra is too big in the band size and too small in the cup size. (I'm a 34hh British ....I think), oddly it fits pretty well. The straps are short, and the underwire hits perfectly. It doesn't give me as much lift as the elomi caitlyn 34hh, but it is pretty comfortable, and as of now, my 2nd best fitting daily wear bra.
I like this bra and it fits me well. While its structural integrity has lasted well over the past 1-2 years of use I found that the details on the lace have tended to show more wear than anything else, along with a touch of fading in the underarms. I'm sure sending it through the dryer occasionally is probably part of my problem though. While this isn't my favorite of the Lunaire/Whimsy bras I own it still did quite well. I think the only thing I disliked about it has been the side slings, in my purple version of the bra they seem a bit more snug than the should be compared to the rest of the cup. Enough that without a shirt on there is a line, but it doesn't show through a shirt and doesn't seem to affect comfort at all, so I don't really mind.
this band fits quite snug for a 34, much snugger than my whimsy bras. The bottom of the band dug in badly when I first wore it, it kind of curled under and felt like it was slicing me in two. this has been getting better since I've worn it, but it still seems like the bottom of it is unnaturally tight.
Pretty mesh 3-section cup gives a rounded shape, but the cup runs small and shallow. Lunaire never really sits snug against my chest in the center gore, but this style particularly pushed away from my body at least an inch.
